        In Vitro Antiviral Activity of Ribavirin Against Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome Virus Myung Jin LEE1, Kye-Hyung KIM1, Jongyoun YI2, SuJin CHOI1, Chung-Jong KIM1, Nak- Hyun KIM1, Kyoung-Ho SONG1, Pyoeng Gyun CHOI1, Ji-Hwan BANG1, Wan Beom PARK1, Eu Suk KIM1, Sang-Won PARK1, Hong Bin KIM1, Nam Joong KIM1, Myoung- Don OH1 Seoul National University College of Medicine, Korea1, Pusan National University School of Medicine, Korea2 Background: Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging infectious disease caused by a novel Bunyavirus, severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV). No effective antiviral therapy is proven yet, but clinical use of ribavirin (RBV) has been tried. We investigated the antiviral effect of RBV against SFTSV in vitro. Methods: To test for cytotoxicity of RBV, Vero cells were treated with different concentrations of RBV (3.90 to 500 μg/mL, two-fold dilution) and analyzed by cell viability MTS assay 48h post-infection. To determine antiviral activity of RBV against SFTSV, Vero cells were infected with SFTSV strain Gangwon/Korea/2012 at 100 TCID50 (50% tissue culture infective dose) per well in a 96-well plate, and RBV was added at the concentrations showing no or minimal cytotoxicity. Viral RNAs were extracted from the culture supernatants and quantifi ed using one-step real-time reverse transcription- PCR to amplify the partial large segment of SFTSV. Statistical analysis was done by one-way ANOVA with Tukey`s post hoc test. Results: Cytotoxicity due to RBV was not observed at RBV concentration =31.3 μg/ mL. Viral RNAs at 24h post-RBV treatment were reduced with increasing RBV concentrations (1-32 μg/mL), compared with those of mock-treated cells (P <0.01, Figure). Half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of RBV was 3.69 μg/mL at 24h post-RBV treatment. Conclusions: Our study shows that RBV has antiviral effect against SFTSV in a dose-dependent manner. Further studies are required to evaluate the effi cacy of RBV in SFTS.

      • 트레드밀 운동시 흡기근 테이핑이 폐활량에 미치는 영향

        이 연구는 트레드밀 운동과 키네시오 테이핑의 효과에 따른 폐활량의 변화를 알아보기 위해 26명의 비흡연자가 참가하였으며 키네시오 테이핑을 적용하지 않은 그룹과 키네시오 테이핑을 적용한 두 그룹으로 무작위로 배정하고 각 군들을 주 3회 6주간의 트레드밀 훈련을 실시하였다. 실험 전과 후, 스파이로미터를 사용하여 키네시오 테이핑의 적용 따른 폐활량 변화 효과를 측정하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 종합해보면 키네시오 테이핑을 적용 그룹에서 적용하지 않은 그룹에 비해 FVC, FEV1에서 유의한 증가를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 건강한 성인에서 키네시오 테이핑을 적용한 경우 키네시오 테이핑을 적용하지 않고 트레드밀 운동을 한 경우보다 폐활량의 향상에 효과적이라고 생각되어진다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the variation of vital capacity(VC) according to the effects of kinesio taping with treadmill exercise. Twenty-six non-smokers were participated in this research and these subjects were randomly assigned into two groups. To measure the VC variation effects of kinesio taping, spirometer was used. The collected data were analyzed statistically by using a paired Mauchly test and repeated measure ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows; A group: treadmill with kinesio taping B group: treadmill without kinesio taping. Between A and B, there were significant differences. In the case of A group, there was 11.66% increase of VC, during 3 weeks experiment(p<.01). In the case of B group, there were significant differences, 3.35% increase of VC, during 3 weeks taping intervention(p<.01). After 6 weeks experiment, the improvement of VC shown a significant difference with intergroup (p<.05). From this result, it was revealed that treadmill exercise with kinesio taping was effective to improve VC to healthy adult than treadmill exercise without kinesio taping.

      • 개인식별을 위한 컴퓨터 영상 중첩시스템 연구

        임포즈란 신원 미상의 두개골을 발견했을 때, 두개골의 사진과 동일인으로 판정되는 사람의 생전 사진을 서로 같은 비율로 축소한 후 두 사진을 겹침으로써 두 인물간의 동일인 여부를 비교, 검토하는 과정을 말한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 국립과학수사연구소에서 제 검사 및 DNA 유전자 검사를 통해 이미 동일인임이 확인된 7명의 두개골 사진, 생전사진을 이용하여 컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용한 응용프로그램을 개발하였다. 신원 미상의 두개골을 비디오 카메라, 컴퓨터를 이용, 영상처리후 임포즈하고 해부학적 특징으 기준으로 동일인여부를 비교, 검토하는 과정에서 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 두개골 및 생전사진을 처리하는 방법으로 다양한 영상처리 기법(Smooth, Sharpen, Emboss, Mosaic, Engrave, Invert, Neon, Color to Mono)을 개발하였고, 이들 중 Neon, Invert, Engrave기법에서 최적의 영상을 얻을수 있었다. 2. 다양한 방식(SrcOr. SrcAnd. SrcInvert. SrcErase,DstInvert. MergePaint) 으로 두 영상을 합성하여 임포즈 감정시 필요한 최적의 비교상태를 얻을수 있었다. 3. 비디오 카메라를 이용하여 두개골상을 직접 컴퓨터에 입력할 수 있었으며, 이를 생전사진과 임포즈함으로써 보다 정확하고 신속한 감정을 가능 하게 했다. 이상에서 볼 때 기존의 수작업으로 이루어졌던 임포즈가 이제는 컴퓨터 프로그램에 의해 이루어지므로서 보다 신속하고 정확한 임포즈 작업을 가능하게 할 것이라 사료된다. A Study on the Computer Impose System for Individual Recognization *Dept. of inform. and Comm Eng.. Honam University ** The Dental School of Yonsei University In this thesis. a new superimposition scheme using a computer vision system was proposed with 7 pairs of skull and ante-mortem photographs. which were already identified through other tests and DNA fingerprints at the Korea National Institute of scientific Investigation, At this computer vision system. an unidentified skull was caughty by video-camcoder with the MPEG and a ante-mortem photograhp was scanned by scanner. These two images were processed and superimposed using pixel processing. Recognition of the individual identification by anatomical references was performed on the two superimposed images. This image processing techniques for the superimposition of skull and ante-mortem photographs simplify used the previous approach taking skull photographs and developing it to the same size as the ante-mortem photographs. This system using various image processing techniques on computer screen. a more precise and time-saving superimposition technique could be able to be applied in the area of computer individual indentification.

Fourth, family cohesive power and low rank factor of family cohesive power that express marriage savage tribe and the strongest corelation as result that analyze relation with marriage satisfaction appeared by family economy and are since next sentimentalize relation, family, was expose by order of Chingu·time. Also, marriage satisfaction's low rank factor which display family cohesive power and the highest corelation appeared and was expose by next order of marriage, communication, authoritative marriage that is affection enemy by adaptation about married life.

      • 임베디드 시스템에서 Mobile IP 프로토콜 구현

        With rapid growth of the internet, need for the mobile communication networks is increasing. In this paper, we implement and test Mobile IP Protocol in Embedded System. Our Mobile IP-based testbed consisted of two sub-networks and each sub-network was configured to operate independently through use of router. To satisfy integrated wired/wireless network model established on the testbed design and show generality of the testbed, we implemented mobile nodes, home agent, foreign agent and router on the basis of Linux operating system. As the results of the evaluation, we confirmed that mobile nodes operated properly according to Mobile IP Protocol.

      • 貝類의 冷凍에 關한 硏究 : 4. 오분자기의 凍結貯藏溫度에 따른 品質의 變化 4. Quality Changes of Abalone, Haliotis diversicolor japonica, by the Freezing Storage Temperatare

        오분자기를 보다 效果的으로 利用하기 위한 基礎資料를 얻기 위하여 오분자기를 脫殼, 凍結한 후 凍結貯藏中의 品質의 變化를 實驗하였다. 凍結貯藏中 pH는 거의 變化가 없었고 drip量 조금씩 增加하였으며 揮發性鹽基窒素도 조금씩 增加하였으나 -35℃의 경우 3個月까지는 좋은 鮮度를 維持하였다. 保水力은 점차 減少하여 貯藏 3個月후에는 -10℃에서 貯藏한 경우가 10%, -35℃는 약 7%까지 減少하였다. hardness는 -10℃와 -35℃ 다 같이 1個月까지 增加하다가 以後 급격하게 減少하였으며 toughness는 계속 減少하였다. cohesiveness는 -10℃의 경우 큰 變化가 없었으나 -35℃의 경우는 2個月에 급격히 減少하였으며 elasticity는 -10℃와 -35℃의 경우 모두 큰 變化가 없었다. 色調의 變化에서 a값은 큰 變化가 없었으나 L값은 계속 減少하였고 b값과 ΔE값은 계속 增加하였다. 組織學的 觀察의 結果 貯藏溫度가 높은 것일수록 氷結晶의 成長과 근속끼리의 응집이 현저함이 確認되어졌다. To obtain the basic data for utilizing abalone, Haliotis diversicolor japonica more effectively the quality changes as pH, drip, water holding capacity (WHC), texture, color difference and histological observation in shelled and frozen products during storage were carried out. It was noticed that the pH of frozen products (-10℃ and -35℃) were not changed markedly, thaw exudate (drip) and volatile basic nitrogen (VBN) were slightly increased as the storing period prolonged but fairly good freshness was maintained until 3 months in the storage of -35℃. The water holding capacity for all frozen products were steadily decreased to show 10% and 7% down at -10℃ and -35℃ respectively with 3 months storage on the base of raw materials. With all frozen products it was observed that hardness was increased up until the 1 month storage period and then suddenly dropped while toughness was decreased steadily. NO significant changes in cohesiveness with the -10℃ storage were observed but with -35℃, it was dropped rapidly after 2 months storage while elasticity was not changed markedly for all frozen products. The color difference expressed as a value was not changed markedly while the L value was decreased steadily. The b and ΔE value were increased continually as the frozen period was extended. It was confirmed that both the growth of ice crystal and aggregates of muscle bundle were prominent at the higher storage temperature in histological observation.

        VSI EWMA 관리도의 경제적 통계적 설계

        This paper present an economic statistical design which have statistically constraints for the optimal design of an EWMA control charts with variable sampling interval. Cost function use that proposed by Lorenzen and Vance, and the optimal design parameters include the sample size, control limit width, sampling interval, EWMA weight value. Comparisons between VSI EWMA control charts optimal economic design and optimal economic statistical designs show the following fact. Although have demerits which are more costly than economic design, have merits which to detect shifts more efficiently and to improve statistical performance.

        ProFile을 이용한 근관형성 시 anticurvature filing 방법의 영향

        본 연구에서는 ProFile로 근관형성 시 anticurvature filing 방법의 영향을 평가하고자 하였다. 변형된 Bramante 법을 이용해 36개의 레진 블록을 치근단으로부터 8 mm부위와 근관의 최대 만곡 부위에서 절단한 후 재조립하였다. 근관형성의 동작에 따라 anticurvature Hling motion, oircurnferential filing motion, straight up-and-down motion의 3가지 실험군으로 분류한 다음 ProFile로 근관을 형성하였으며, 술 전·후의 단면을 stereomicroscope로 촬영, 저장하고 중첩하여 근관 단면의 변화와 근관의 중심 이동률을 비교 평가하였다. 모든 위치에서 단면적 변화량, 만곡 내측으로의 형성량과 중심 이동률은 세 군 간에 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 만곡 외측으로의 형성량은 치근단으로부터 8 mm 부위에서 anticurvature filing motion, oircurnferential filing motion,straight up-and-down motion의 순으로 많았으나, 근관의 최대 만곡 부위에서는 차이가 없었다. 이상의 결과에서 만곡 근관의 위험 부위에서 ProFile로 근관형성 시 anticurvature filing motion의 영향은 다른 motion과 비교해 볼 때 유의할 만한 차이가 없는 것으로 생각된다. This study investigated the effect of anticurvature filing method on preparation of the curved root canal using ProFile. Thirty six resin blocks were divided equally into three groups by instrumentation motions: anticurvature filing motion, circumferential filing motion and straight up-and-down motion. Each resin block was sectioned at 8 mm level from the apex and at the greatest curvature of the canal and reassembled in metal mold by a modified Bramante technique. All groups were instrumented with the ProFile system. At each levels, image of sectioned surface were taken using CCD camera under a stereomicroscope at ×40 magnification and stored. Distances of transportation at the inner and outer area of curvature and the centering ratio were determined and compared by statistical analysis, along with the assessment of the increase of root canal cross-sectional area. The results were as follows; 1. In all groups, there was no statistical difference in the mean increase of root canal cross-sectional area, the centering ratio, and the mean distances of transportation at the inner area of curvature at each level. 2. At 8 mm level from the apex, the mean distances of transportation at the outer area of curvature decreases in following order anticurvature filing motion, circumferential filing motion, straight up-and-down motion but, no significant difference at the greatest curvature of the canal among three groups. Effect of anticurvature filing motion using ProFile does not seem to be different from other instrumentation motions at the inner area of curvature in curved root canal.[J Kor Acad Cons Dent 30(4):327-334,2005]
