Carbohydrate and fat ingestion during exercise are essential nutrient, but a number of opinion is different from their contents of food. In this point of view, to study how high-fat dietary contents affects glycogen utilization, 48 female Sprague-Dawley rats were trained on the treadmill trained for 4wk with consuming two high-fat diet and one high-carbohydrate diet. All animals were fed 79%high-fat diet(n=16, 79F), 40% high-fat diet(n=16, 40F), 70% high-carbohydrate diet(n=16, 70C). After the final day of training, one-half of rats in each the three groups were run to exhaustion (E), whereas the remaining rats served as rested controls (R). All animals were trained on a motorized rodent treadmill. The animals ran for 30min/d at 28m/min(0% grade), analysis items were glycogen, body weight and %Fat were measured. All data were examined by means of one-way ANOVA and significance was set at the p<0.05. The Duncan method was used for a post hoc test. Body weight were similar among the 79F, 40F and 70C groups. %Fat was significantly greater in animals that consumed the 79F group than in those on the 70C group (P<0.05), even though similar body weight each other. Generally liver and muscle glycogen concentration had more in 79FR, on the other hand, had less in 79FE compared with the others. The mean overall glycogen utilization rate was depressed in muscle and liver after animals were on the 79% F diet. In summary, the present study has suggested that consumption of 79% F diet during endurance training can lead to an increase in exercise performance in female rats. Some of the consequences training on F diet are an increase in body fat deposition and slower utilization of glycogen during exercise. These data indicate that rats exposed to a high-fat diet are capable of prolonging exercise in spite of limited glycogen stores. This improved capacity for exercise appears to be partially the result of muscular adaptations to the diet, which apparently increase the ability to oxidize fat and concomitantly spare glycogen.

<P>Phosphodiesterases (PDEs) are known to play a key role in the compartmentalization of cAMP signaling; however, the molecular mechanisms underlying intracellular localization of different PDE isoforms are not understood. In this study, we have found that each of the supershort, short, and long forms of apPDE4 showed distinct localization in the cytoplasm, plasma membrane, and both plasma membrane and presynaptic terminals, respectively. The N-terminal 20 amino acids of the long form of apPDE4 were involved in presynaptic terminal targeting by binding to several lipids. In addition, the N terminus of the short form of apPDE4 bound to several lipids including phosphoinositols, thereby targeting the plasma membrane. Overexpression of the long and the short forms, but not the supershort form attenuated 5-HT-induced membrane hyperexcitability. Finally, the knockdown of apPDE4s in sensory neurons impaired both short-term and long-term facilitation. Thus, these results suggest that apPDE4s can participate in the regulation of cAMP signaling through specific subcellular localization by means of lipid binding activities.</P>
송이버섯 추출액의 항균력 확인과 저염젓갈 생산에 적용 가능성

송이버섯 추출액의 박테리아에 대한 항균력을 측정하기 위하여 최소저해농도를 확인한 결과 젓갈 제조시 빈번하게 발생하는 부패균, 어병원인 균등 9가지 박테리아에 대해 성장이 저해되는 것을 확인하였다. 확인된 송이버섯 추출액의 항균력을 저염 젓갈의 제조 공정에 적용하기 위해 식품보존제인 사과산나트륨과 아질산나트륨을 함께 첨가하여 S. aureus에 대한 최소저해농도를 확인하였다. 그 결과 사과산나트륨과 아질산나트륨의 최소저해농도가 각각 0.25 g/L와 0.025 g/L로 크게 낮아지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 항균력을 갖는 송이버섯 추출액을 첨가함으로써 일반적으로 첨가되는 식품보존제의 농도를 크게 낮출 수 있었을 뿐 아니라 송이버섯의 다양한 기능성이 추가된 고급화된 저염 젓갈을 개발할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. The antibacterial activity from Tricholoma matsutake extracts were confirmed by minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) test against various bacteria. Tricholoma matsutake extracts was applied for manufacturing low salted Jeot-gal with sodium DL-malate and sodium nitrite as food preservatives. Due to antibacterial activity from Tricholoma matsutake extracts, MIC of sodium DL-malate and sodium nitrite were significantly reduced to 0.025 g/L and 0.25 g/L, respectively. As a result of this study, a premium low salted Jeot-gal can be developed with low concentration of food preservatives by adding Tricholoma matsutake extracts.

The purpose of this study is to present an effective activation plan through IPA analysis of public sports club (sports-on) selection attributes. To achieve this goal, data were collected from 197 members who had experience using public sports clubs and analyzed through SPSS. The results of the study are as follows. First, in the first quadrant, which means continuity, the program composition, program diversity, program interest, and leaders words and actions were derived. Second, in the second quadrant, which means intensive improvement, the attributes of cleanliness, location convenience, transportation convenience, tuition, and other expenditures were presented. Third, in the third quadrant, which means low priority, the properties of interior, air conditioning facilities, lighting atmosphere, and discounts appeared. Fourth, in the fourth quadrant, which avoids the meaning of excessive effort, the program difficulty, leader history, leader experience, leader appearance, club size, and parking convenience were derived. As such, this study provides academic and practical implications for suggesting ways to revitalize public sports clubs through IPA analysis.
장애인 선수들의 지도자 전문성이 지도자 신뢰 및 선수만족에 미치는 영향

This study aims at analyzing Instructors Professionalism, Instructors Trust, and Athlete Satisfaction according to demographics. Using a purposive sampling of non probability sampling, 260 Korean disabled athletes participated in 2014 and collected 234 surveys. Only 208 were used in this research, excluding 26 who did not respond faithfully or answers that had no values. Results of this study were given as it applied data process, frequency analysis, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis. First, significant differences were shown on Instructors Professionalism, Instructors Trust and Athlete Satisfaction in age, types of disorders, participation frequency and time. Second, recording to effects of Instructors Professionalism on Instructors Trust, guidance technique, management influenced the openness. Personality, guidance and practical technique, management influenced the ability. Personality, guidance technique, influenced on the belief and personality influenced on the sincerity. Personality, basic principle influenced on the consistency. Personality, guidance technique, management influenced on the altruism.Third, recording to effects of instructors professionalism on athlete satisfaction, personality, guidance technique, management influenced on the coach’s leadership. Guidance technique, management influenced on the social interaction. Guidance technique influenced the task performance. Fourth, the effects of trust on athlete satisfaction, ability, belief, consistency influenced coach’s leadership. Ability, consistency influenced on the social interaction. Belief influenced the task performance.
