데이터 글러브를 이용한 손 제스처 기반 3차원 게임 구현

데이터 글러브(Data Glove)는 손 제스처를 정의하여 시스템을 제어하는 입력장치로 가상현실기술 및 교육, 의료, 산업분야에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 이는 가상현실 속에 존재하는 사물을 현실에서 제어하게 함으로써 사용자에게 마치 현실 세계의 사물을 제어하는 느낌을 주는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 데이터 글러브의 장점을 이용하여 3차원 게임에 적용시키는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 데이터 글러브로 제스처를 정의하고, 트래커(Tracker)와 연동하여 시스템을 구현한다. 구현된 시스템을 실험하기 위해서 OpenGL로 인형 뽑기 게임을 구현하고 사용자가 데이터 글러브를 착용 후 정의된 제스처를 통해 게임을 제어하도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 사용자들에게 좀 더 높은 몰입감을 제공하며, 향후 게임 산업 발전에도 많은 영향을 줄 것으로 기대한다.
일부 고지혈증 폐경 여성의 Isoflavone 공급에 따른 혈중지질 변화에 관한 연구

Intake of soy protein may decrease the risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease in postmenopausal women. This study was designed to investigate the effects of isoflavone supplementation on serum lipids in 16 hyperlipidemic postmenopausal women. For this purpose, an intervention study was conducted for 12 weeks. Subjects were healthy, free-living women consuming habitual diets with 0.3 g/d of isoflavone. Food and nutrient intake was obtained by 24-hr recall method and anthropometric measurements were made. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure, total serum cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol were determined before and after the isoflavone supplementation. The results were summarized as follows. The average age, height, weight and BMI of the subjects were 65.3 years, 151.4 cm, 62.2 kg and 27.1, respectively. The systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were not reduced significantly with isoflavone supplementation. Total cholesterol (p < 0.001), HDL-C (p < 0.05), and LDL-C (p < 0.01) were significantly increased after isoflavone concentration. In conclusion, isoflavone supplementation was not effective to modify risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

3-Monochloro-1,2-propanediol(3-MCPD) is a toxic compound, often present in different foods containing acid hydrolyzed(AH) protein, like seasonings and savory food products. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of 3-MCPD on male fertility, sperm and testosterone secretion. In vivo male fertility test was performed for observing the adverse effects of 3-MCPD on the function of male reproductive system and pregnancy outcome. 0.01, 0.05, 0.25, 1 and 5 mg/kg b.w. of 3-MCPD was given daily by gavage to groups of 15 adult male SD rats for 4 weeks. At the end of pre-treatment period, males were mated overnight with normal females. Following morning, males demonstrating successful induction of pregnancy were sacrificed on that day to assess sperm parameters and histopathology of reproductive organs. The resulting pregnant females were sacrificed on day 20 of gestation to evaluate pregnancy outcome. As a result, four-week paternal administration with 3-MCPD resulted in adverse effects on male fertility and pregnancy outcome without remarkable histopathological changes in testes and epididymides; sperm motility, copulation index and fertility index were markedly decreased in the treated group and numbers of live fetuses showed steep dose-response curves. Also, spermatogenesis was investigated in this experiment. However, no<br/> effect was observed on production of sperm in testes treated with 3-MCPD for 4 weeks. Hormone assay was performed for observing the effects of 3-MCPD on testosterone and luteinizing hormone (LH) in blood and testes of male SD rats and cultured primary Leydig cell. In result, significant changes of related hormones did not observed by treatment of 3-MCPD. These results indicated that paternal treatment with 3-MCPD induced spermatotoxic effect, which caused an antifertility on male.

Acetaminophen (APAP) overdose can cause hepatotoxicity by inducing mitochondrial damage and subsequent necrosis in hepatocytes. Sirtuin2 (Sirt2) is an NAD<sup>+</sup>-dependent deacetylase that regulates several biological processes, including hepatic gluconeogenesis, as well as inflammatory pathways. We show that APAP decreases the expression of Sirt2. Moreover, the ablation of Sirt2 attenuates APAP-induced liver injuries, such as oxidative stress and mitochondrial damage in hepatocytes. We found that Sirt2 deficiency alleviates the APAP-mediated endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and phosphorylation of the p70 ribosomal S6 kinase 1 (S6K1). Moreover, Sirt2 interacts with and deacetylates S6K1, followed by S6K1 phosphorylation induction. This study elucidates the molecular mechanisms underlying the protective role of Sirt2 inactivation in APAP-induced liver injuries. [BMB Reports 2019; 52(3): 190-195]
지식재산보호 교사연수 프로그램 효과 및 개선 방안 연구 : 만족도 및 중요도 - 수행 자신감 분석을 중심으로 ***

이 연구의 목적은 교사용 지식재산보호 연수프로그램의 적용을 통하여 연수의 효과성을 확인 하기 위해 가장 기본적인 단계인 만족도 조사와, 연수를 통하여 지식재산에 대한 수행 자신감이 어떻게 변화되었는지를 확인하는 데 있다. 또한 연수 참여자들의 입장에서 지식재산보호 교사 연수 프로그램의 개선방안을 모색하는 데 부차적 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 대상은 연수 참여자(51명) 중 설문에 참여한 교사 40명이며, 조사도구는 5점 리커트 척도를 활용하여 만족도, 연수 전후의 지식재산교육 중요도 및 수행 자신감 조사 및 연수의 운영 및 개선에 대한 자유응답 문항으로 이루어졌다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지식재산보호연수 프로그램은 중등교사용 A과정, 초등교사용 B과정으로 개발되었으며, 해당 연수에 대하여 연수 참여교사들의 만족도는 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 지식재산보호연수에 참여한 교사들은 지식재산교육의 중요도를 높게 인식하고 있었으며, 해당 연수를 통하여 지식재산교육의 수행에 대한 자신감이 통계적으로 상승하였다. 셋째, 향후 지식재산보호교육 연수의 개선을 위해서는 연수자료집 개선, 사례중심 및 활동 중심의 프로그램 증대, 연수대상자를 위한 추가 자료의 충분한 제공이 요구되며, 연수 프로그램 내의 중복된 내용에 대한 사전검토를 통하여 최소화하는 방안이 요구되었다. The purpose of this study was to understand the effects on satisfaction, importance of recognition and confidence in performing IP education through an Intellectual Property Protection Teachers’ Educating Program (IPP-TEP). It was also to propose improving future training programs based on empirical evidences. The target of this study were 40 teachers who participated in the survey (Total participants were 51). After the intervention program completed, we investigated participants’ satisfaction for the configuration details by 5-points likert scale and planning/management of the education requirements by free description. Also, we investigated before and after recognition about importance and confidence in performing of IP education. Results of this study were as follows. First, the teacher participants were satisfied with all categories of the IPP-TEP. Second, through the IPP-TEP, teacher’s recognition of the importance and self- confidence in performing IP education was risen. Teachers’ recognition of the importance of the IPP-TEP was high both before and after training, self confidence in performing of IP education statistically significant increased. Third, the training instruction manual, to increase the programs based on case-oriented and activity-based, and to provide helpful resources for training participants should be improved. It was also needed to minimize the redundant information by pro-validation of training materials.
시니어의 HMD 기반 메타버스 활용을 위한 콘텐츠 인터페이스 연구

메타버스는 고급 기술을 사용하므로, 기술적으로 익숙하지 않은 노년 세대 중 일부는 메타버스라는 디지털환경을 이용한 가상공간을 탐험하거나 상호 작용을 할 때, 신체적으로 많은 노력이 필요할 수 있어서 이용에 따른 제한이 발생한다. 이러한 불편함을 해소하기 위한 과정에서 HMD가 활용되기도 하지만 긴 시간을 착용한다 거나 안경을 쓰는 사용자에게는 불편함을 초래할 수 있다. 또한 시니어 세대 중 일부는 시력이나 청력에 제한을 가지고 올 수 있어 가상 환경에서의 경험에 어려움을 겪을 수 있다. 이러한 여러 제한사항을 고려하여 메타버스와 HMD를 시니어 세대가 더 쉽게 적응하고 활용할 수 있도록 보다 사용자 친화적인 설계와 교육이 필요하다. Since metaverse is a virtual environment which uses advanced technologies, some of the older generations who are not familiar with recent technologies might require a lot of effort physically when exploring or interacting with the virtual space, hence, resulting in some restrictions. In these situations, HMD is sometimes used to resolve the inconveniences. However, it might cause inconvenience to users who wear them for a long time or to users who wear glasses. In addition, some of seniors may have limited vision or hearing which may cause some difficulties in experiencing the virtual environment. Therefore, trainings and a more user-friendly design will be required to make metaverse and HMD easier for the seniors to adapt and utilize.
Conformational Characteristics of p-tert-Butylcalix[6]arene Mono-Alkyl Ester Derivatives

Conformational properties of several mono-alkyl ester derivatives of p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene depending on temperatures have been investigated by solution NMR spectroscopy. It is found out that all derivatives can adopt a cone-like conformation around room temperature, while the conformational characteristics at high temperatures seem to be quite different each other.
