In this paper, handwritten basic Hangout recognized by using the modified hough transform (MHT) and neural network, in order to reduce misrecognition due to the variation of input patterns according to writers. In order to recognize basic hangout which is consisted of tile 14 single consonants and the 10single vowels, input data of neural network is extracted by coding the location of each stroke which is detected by the MHT. Real time recognition of basic Hangeul can be realized in personal computer by using input data which is compressed to 8 feature value by MHT.
Aspergillus sp. ISR 균주를 통한 콜레스테롤 합성저해제 lovastain의 생산

본 연구에서 한국 토양에서 분리된 lovastatin 생산 균주인 Aspergillus sp. ISR 균주를 이용하여 여러 배지 조성 성분이 lovastatin의 생산에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 탄소원으로는 lactose보다 glycerol 5%가 가장 효과적이었으며 질소원과 인산염의 경우는 기본 RPM배지 조성과 농도에서 보다 효과적인 것을 발견하지 못하였다. 복합영양원으로 rapeseed meal 보다는 대두박이 보다 효과적이어서 저렴한 배지원으로 사용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다. 최종적으로 최적화된 배지를 사용하여 52 mg·L^(-1)의 lovastatin을 생산할 수 있었고 이는 기존의 RPM 배지보다 수율이 4.5배 증가한 것이다. 좀 더 효과적인 lovastatin의 생산을 위하여 회분식 발효에 대한 연구와 분자유전학적인 연구를 통한 고생산 균주의 제조에 대한 연구가 진행중이다. Effects of various nutritional components on the production of lovastatin were investigated in the Aspergillus sp. ISR. Among various carbon (C) sources, glycerol was determined to be the most effective C source at the concentration of 5% (v/v). In case of nitrogen sources, 0.2% (w/v) KNO_(3) efficiently induced the lovastatin production in Aspergillus sp. ISR. Interestingly, the addition of soybean meal into the production medium enhanced the lovastatin production compared to the rapeseed meal. Conclusively, Aspergillus sp. ISR produced 52 mg·L^(-1) of lovastatin in the optimized medium containing 5% (v/v) glycerol, 0.2% (w/v) KNO_(3), 0.3% (w/v) KH_(2)PO_(4), and 0.3% (w/v) soybean meal, which was 4.5 times higher than the amount produced using the standard RPM (rapeseedmeal production medium).
내외통제성과 성역할 정체감이 초등학교 아동의 진로의식 성숙에 미치는 영향

This purpose of the study was to examine the effect of internal-external control and sex-role identities on their career maturity of elementary school children. The subjects in this study were 200 selected six graders who included 100 children from an elementary school in the city of Geoje and 100 from an elementary school in Goseong-gun, South Kyongsang province. The findings of this study could be described as below: First, In regard to the gender-based career maturity discrepancies, gender made no difference to their career choice and career attitude. Second, as a result of investigating whether the career maturity was affected by the internal-external control, the internal-control group was better at total career capability and total career maturity as well. Third, as a result of examining whether the career maturity was influenced by the sex-role identities, the children whose sex-role identities were undifferentiated or androgynous were more dependent than the others. The findings of this study suggest that in order to enhance the career maturity of elementary school children, gender characteristics should be taken into account in developing career-education programs. In addition, there should be a variety of efforts to help children cultivate internal control and androgynous identities.

Eisenmenger's syndrome includes any condition in which communication between the pulmonary and systemic circulation gives rise to pulmonary vascular disease causing a right to left shunt with peripheral cyanosis, It can occur with complex congenital cardiac malformations, such as septal defect and patent ductus arteriosus. We report a case of a 58-year-old woman with an emergency operation for peritonitis due to appendiceal perforation and Eisenmenger's syndrome secondary to large ventricular septal defect. We carefully performed balanced anesthesia with air-O₂-desflurane-remifentanil. She was transferred to the intensive care unit in intubated state postoperatively and discharged two weeks later without any complications.

This paper is on the study of strength evaluation for the frame joint made from reinforced concrete column and steel beam(RCS system joints). Especially for those categorized as through beam type, the accuracy of the existing design equations proposed in the inside and outside of the country was studied in detail with shear key such as face bearing plate(FBP), Extended FBP, vertical joint reinforcement. It was shown that strength evaluation equations proposed in James K. Wight provided the most accurate and consistent strength estimates. Some design equations proposed by Japanese often underrated the joint strength for specific joint details.
Active Mechanical Vibration Control of Rotary Compressors for Air-conditioning Systems

Recent power electronics and variable-frequency motor drive technologies have been applied to air conditioners to improve efficiency and power density. However, the mechanical vibrations and acoustic noise resulting from the compressor still remain as a serious problem. This paper presents the development and implementation of an online disturbance state-filter for the suppression of multiple unknown and time-varying vibrations of air conditioning systems. The proposed design has a form of the state-filter based on a Luenburger-style closed-loop speed observer. An active vibration decoupling strategy with an estimated disturbance is provided, which manipulates a motor torque command. Since the proposed estimation does not require any additional transducers or hardware for obtaining real-time information upon disturbances, it is suitable for retrofitting industrial air conditioners.

<P>This paper presents a power managements IC for power transmitting unit (PTU) of magnetic resonant A4WP application. A high efficiency step-up converter with a programmable output is proposed to provide supply voltage to the external power amplifier with a peak power of 37.5 W. In order to implement the closed loop gain control function of the PTU with the power receiving unit, the duty cycle is controlled with the pulse width modulation signal from bluetooth low energy. The chip is fabricated using a 0.18 mu m BCD process with high power MOSFET options, and the die area is 4000 mu m x 4000 mu m. The measured maximum power efficiency of the step-up converter and step-down converter is each 92.8 % at load current of 0.5 A and 93.8 % at load current of 0.3 A. The output voltage of the step-up converter ranges from 12 to 25 V and that of the step-down converter ranges from 3.3 and 5 V.</P>
