        Comparison of Postural Control Ability according to the Various Video Contents during Action Observations

        Purpose: This study examined the effects of the type of video contents used for action observations on the ability to control posture. Methods: The participants were 48 healthy adults. The two hands of the participants were crossed on both shoulders, and the other foot was placed in a straight line in front of the target to allow them to watch a video of the monitor. The videos were presented in random order with three video contents (natural, stable balance posture, and unstable balance posture) consisting of 30 seconds each. A 15-second resting time was given between each video. During action observation using various video content forms, the posture control ability was measured using a TekScan MetScan® system. Results: The results revealed statistically significant differences in the area of movement and the distance by COP and distance by the type of action-observation videos, and the distance by the anteroposterior and mediolateral sides (p<0.05). The stable balance posture and unstable balance posture video showed significant differences in the distance by the COP, anteroposterior, and mediolateral distance. (p<0.05) Conclusion: This study suggests that choosing the contents of the videos is important during action-observation training, and action-observation training can help improve postural control.

        Expression of Immune-Related Genes during Loach (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus) Embryonic and Early Larval Development

        Early life stage mortality in fish is one of the problems faced by loach aquaculture. However, our understanding of immune system in early life stage fish is still incomplete, and the information available is restricted to a few fish species. In the present work, we investigated the expression of immune-related transcripts in loach during early development. In fishes, recombination-activating gene 1 (RAG-1) and sacsin (SACS) have been considered as immunological function. In this study, the expression of the both genes was assessed throughout the early developmental stages of loach using real-time PCR method. maRAG-1 mRNA was first detected in 0 dph, observed the increased mostly until 40 dph. Significant expression of maRAG-1 was detected in 0 to 40 dph. These patterns of expression may suggest that the loach start to develop its function after hatching. On the other hand, maSACS was detected in unfertilized oocyte to molura stages and 0 to 40 dph. maSACS mRNA transcripts were detected in unfertilized oocytes, suggesting that they are maternally transferred.

        Hematological constituents and ultrastructural changes in dark-banded rockfish, Sebastes inermis, under nitrite stress

        The acute toxicity and sublethal effects of nitrite on the dark-banded rockfish, Sebastes inermis (mean body weight: 83.3 ± 7.2 g), were studied under static conditions for a period of 96 h. The acute toxicity of nitrite was at the 50% lethal concentration (LC50) of 700 mg/L. The sublethal effects on selected hematological parameters of the dark-banded rockfish, such as its osmolality, hematocrit, cortisol, alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and aspartate aminotransferase (AST), were measured after 0, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72, and 96 h of exposure to 0, 50, 100, 200, 400, or 700 mg/L nitrite. Sublethal nitrite caused a progressive reduction in the hematocrit of the fish, depending on the nitrite concentration and the exposure period. Exposure to 100-700 mg/L nitrite for 96 h caused a reduction in the hematocrit and an increase in cortisol, ALT, and AST compared with the control levels. Abnormal ultrastructural changes in the gills and liver tissues were observed in fish exposed to 700 mg/L nitrite for up to 96 h compared with the control tissues. Ultrastructural changes included atrophic gill mitochondria and hepatocytes that developed smooth endoplasmic reticulum and atrophic mitochondria. Although no rockfish mortality occurred at 500 mg/L nitrite, all the hematological parameters examined responded adversely to a nitrite dose of 200 mg/L for 96 h. These results show that although the acute toxic concentration of nitrite for the dark-banded rockfish is > 700 mg/L, sublethal concentrations of nitrite also negatively affect its hematological parameters.

        수분이 지르코니아 수복물 전용 레진시멘트의 파괴인성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        목적: 본 연구에서는 지르코니아 수복물의 접착에 사용되는 레진 시멘트의 파괴인성을 측정하고 각 레진 시멘트의 다양한 수중 보관 기간이 파괴 인성에 미치는 영향에 관하여 알아보고자 하였다. 재료 및 방법: 세가지 종류의 레진 시멘트(Panavia F2.0, Clearfil SA luting, Zirconite)를 사용하여 single edge notched 형태의 시편($3mm{\times}6mm{\times}25mm$)을 제작하였다. 각 시편은 $37^{\circ}C$ 증류수에서 1일 (대조군), 30일, 90일, 180일 동안 보관하였다 (n=5). 만능시험기를 이용하여 0.1 mm/s 속도로 삼점굽힘 시험을 시행하고, 파절 시의 최대하중으로 파괴인성($K_{IC}$)을 계산하였다. 측정값은 일원분산분석과 다중분석을 위한 $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test를 사용하였고, 유의수준은 0.05로 하였다. 결과: 대조군에서 Panavia F2.0가 $3.41{\pm}0.64MN{\cdot}m^{-1.5}$로 가장 높은 $K_{IC}$를 보였으며 Zirconite가 $3.07{\pm}0.41MN{\cdot}m^{-1.5}$, Clearfil SA luting이 $2.58{\pm}0.30MN{\cdot}m^{-1.5}$으로 가장 낮은 $K_{IC}$를 보였으나, 재료간에 유의성 있는 차이는 없었다. 수중보관 기간이 증가함에 따라 Panavia F2.0의 값은 감소였고, Clearfil SA luting과 Zirconite는 증가하였으나, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론: 지르코니아 수복물 전용 레진 시멘트의 파괴인성은 다른 일반 시멘트에 비해 대체로 높으며, 이러한 파괴인성은 수중 보관에 영향을 받지 않는다. Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare the fracture toughness of currently available resin cements for zirconia restorations and evaluate the effect of water storage on fracture toughness of those resin cements. Materials and methods: Single-edge notched specimens ($3mm{\times}6mm{\times}25mm$) were prepared from three currently available dual cure resin cements for zirconia restorations (Panavia F 2.0, Clearfil SA luting and Zirconite). Each resin cement was divided into four groups: immersed in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 1 (Control group), 30, 90, or 180 days (n=5). Specimens were loaded in three point bending at a cross-head speed of 0.1 mm/s. The maximum load at specimen failure was recorded and the fracture toughness ($K_{IC}$) was calculated. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and multiple comparison $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test (${\alpha}$=.05). Results: In control group, the mean $K_{IC}$ was $3.41{\pm}0.64MN{\cdot}m^{-1.5}$ for Panavia F, 2.0, $3.07{\pm}0.41MN{\cdot}m^{-1.5}$ for Zirconite, $2.58{\pm}0.30MN{\cdot}m^{-1.5}$ for Clearfil SA luting respectively, but statistical analysis revealed no significant difference between them. Although a gradual decrease of $K_{IC}$ in Panavia F 2.0 and gradual increases of KIC in Clearfil SA luting and Zirconite were observed with storage time, there were no significant differences between immersion time for each cement. Conclusion: The resin cements for zirconia restorations exhibit much higher $K_{IC}$ values than conventional resin cements. The fracture toughness of resin cement for zirconia restoration would not be affected by water storage.

        Issues concerning national certification in the sports industry-what it is, how it is acquired, how it is rewarded-are of great importance for policy-oriented labour market. Increased flexibility of the labor market also put more importance on the qualification that evaluates and recognizes the vocational competence of workers. It is because a signaling mechanism that enables accurate evaluation of human resource value and appropriate social compensation is a powerful means to effectively develop, distribute and utilize human resources. This study reviewed the acquisition and utilization of vocational qualification and labor market performance in order to identify the problems of the qualification system that developed out of the national sports qualification system. Furthermore, it focused on national certification whether it was rewarded as professionalization for students majoring in sports, recreation, or physical education in the labor market. Through an in-depth review of the current status of qualification system in the sports industry, the study revealed that the qualification system should be revamped to provide professionalization for students majoring in sports, recreation, or physical education in the labor market. In order to strengthen the utility of qualification certificate, it is imperative to revamp the constitution deeply involved with sport Act. In-depth studies on the qualification operation status of the sports industry, in which Korea Institute of Sports Sciences(KISS) and 21 Institutes of Sports Coaching themselves should not operate specific qualification training program to provide qualification certificate for individuals. Qualification provided by KISS and ISC can not be gained social acceptance when higher education and qualification are not synchronized through the participation of the interested parties. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively and specifically revamp the constitution relating Sport Act to build a sectoral qualification management system that offer professionalization and gain social acceptance in labor market. Only then can the qualification system be a vital means to develop national labor force policies that stimulate lifelong capability development of higher educators in sports area.
