        Marriage Information (intermediary) Company is a firm that provides comprehensive marriage-related information. It refers to a company that offers spouse information, blind date introductions, online dating arrangement, and operates wedding dress portal websites, among other comprehensive information related to marriage. It is operated through membership fees, particularly focusing on providing those looking for lifelong companion with a variety of social venues that could be accessed conveniently and easily. In recent years, with the rapid development of China's market economy, people are facing increasing pressure in their work and personal lives. This leaves them with little time to make new friends, and their social circles are shrinking. As a result, it is very difficult for many individuals of marriageable age to find a compatible partner for dating or marriage even they are legally old enough for marriage. Therefore, marriage agency services have become one of the popular ways to find love and lifelong companion. Furthermore, with the widespread use of the Internet, matchmaking services provided by marriage information company are no longer limited to traditional offline methods. Nowadays, matchmaking services can be accessed through online platforms, offering users more choices and opportunities to find love and make friends. This paper investigated the impact of service quality and user characteristics on perceived usefulness and recommendation intention among Chinese marriage-age consumers who have used marriage information companies' services. To conduct the investigation, we invited 256 individuals who had previously used marriage information services to complete a questionnaire, which was then analyzed using various statistical methods, including factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA, and path analysis using SPSS and AMOS tools. First of all,our findings from population characteristics difference analysis revealed that individuals in their 20s, who possess confidence that strengthens with increased self-efficacy, perceived marriage information companies to be highly useful. Unmarried individuals also had a higher perception of the usefulness of these companies. Additionally, individuals with a university education tended to be more open-minded and were more likely to recommend marriage information companies. Furthermore, the results of Path Analysis indicated that among all paths in the model, customization and efficiency had a greater influence, suggesting that consumers prioritize service efficiency. These two factors significantly influenced consumer's intention to recommend the services of marriage information companies.       • Amelioration of oxidative stress in human endothelial cells by caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) and fluorinated derivatives (FCAPES) and pharmacokinetic characterization of CAPE and FCAPE in rats

        Tissue ischemia is a major cause of morbidity contributing to disease processes such as cardiovascular diseases, stroke, cancer, and traumatic injury and may lead to death. Failure to quickly reestablish flow to ischemic tissue results in tissue death. However, even timely return to normal flow has a downside in that the reintroduction of oxygen to ischemic tissue results in ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury that produces an oxidant stress. This pathological process requires new therapeutic strategies and agents to reduce the personal, social and economic loss. One of the most generally accepted mechanisms for the pathology of I/R injury is the production of the reactive oxygen species (ROS), suggesting antioxidants may ameliorate I/R injury. Caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE), a plant derived polyphenolic compound, has been shown to protect organs from I/R induced damage in vivo, and this effect has been attributed to its antioxidant activity. To better understand the mechanism of CAPE protection, a model using menadione-induced oxidative stress in human endothelial cells to simulate I/R injury in vitro was developed. Gene expression analysis was performed with microarrays undergoing cytoprotection with CAPE. The dose-dependent cytoprotection of CAPE has been related to its induction of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1). With the aim of improving the beneficial effect of CAPE and understanding structure activity relationship, six new catechol ring-fluorinated CAPE derivatives were synthesized and evaluated in the menadione-endothelial cell model. The data suggest good cytoprotective effects of CAPE and some analogues and indicate important structural features for cytoprotection. Further investigation of the mechanism of cytoprotection showed that cytoprotection profiles of CAPE and derivatives correlate better to their ability to induce HO-1 in human endothelial cells than free radical scavenging activity. One CAPE derivative (FCAPE) with cytoprotective effects similar to CAPE in vitro exhibited better stability in rat plasma. A validated ultra-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometric method was developed that allowed for quantification of CAPE and FCAPE in plasma samples. Pharmacokinetic studies in male Sprague Dawley rats following intravenous bolus administration of 5, 10, and 20 mg/kg CAPE and 20 mg/kg FCAPE were performed. The results indicate that dose proportionality for CAPE does not exist in the dose range studied. Although the elimination half life was found not to be significant different between CAPE and FCAPE, significant difference was observed between the total body clearance of FCAPE and CAPE which may due to the difference in volume of distribution.

      • Differentiated quality of service in packet-switching networks

        The advent of new network applications with diverse traffic characteristics and quality of service constraints demands networks to provide differentiated Quality of Service (QoS). In a QoS-enabled network, the differentiated active queue management and the packet scheduling are two of the most important mechanisms to support differentiated QoS at a network node. This research addresses the design issues in differentiated active queue management schemes and packet scheduling disciplines. In the first half of this research, we proposed discrete-time analytical models for differentiated active queue management schemes. The models were used to derive various queueing performance metrics. We identified the dropping probability function as the control knob in differentiated QoS provision, and investigated the optimal selection of dropping probability function parameters. We demonstrated that, with appropriate selection of dropping probability function parameters, differentiated QoS can be provided to contending traffic classes. Additionally, we compared the optimal queueing performance of different types of dropping probability function, and the range of service differentiation achievable using differentiated active queue management schemes. We found that the stair-case dropping probability function had the best performance, followed by the piece-wise linear and exponential functions. We also found that differentiated active queue management schemes provide a wide range of throughput differentiation and a limited range of delay differentiation to contending traffic classes. In the second half of this research, we proposed a statistical bounding approach to find the upper-bound of loss probability in a Generalized Processor Sharing (GPS) server. Using the derived loss probability upper-bounds, we studied the minimum size of GPS buffer allocation to satisfy QoS constraints of each GPS traffic class. The numerical results showed that our statistical bounds reduce buffer allocation by up to 10-fold compared with that derived from deterministic bounding approach. Additionally, we found the existence of a <italic>critical weight</italic> in GPS system. The findings could help choosing appropriate GPS weights.

      • Election and Functions of the Residents’ Committee in China : Focusing on Shanghai

        Residents’ committee in China is a grassroots mass organization with self- governing functions of democratic election, democratic consultation, democratic decision-making, democratic management, and democratic supervision. At the same time, the residents’ committee is the lowest level of China's urban social management system, which is the main body of urban grassroots social management, undertaking the administrative functions of management and service. In the authoritarian political system and the single-party rule by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the residents’ committee is also a tool used by the CCP to maintain the stability of the regime and improve the legitimacy of governance, undertaking political functions such as stability maintenance, mobilization, and education. Shanghai is the city with the highest level of economic development in China. At the same time, since the foundation of the People's Republic of China, Shanghai has been at the forefront of the urban grassroots management system reform, and has undertaken many pilot tasks, forming a representative "Shanghai Model." The development and changes of the status and functions of Shanghai residents’ committee provide an entry point for observing the dynamic interaction and changes in relationship between the state and society and predicting the future growth space of China's society under the party-state political system dominated by the CCP. This paper first introduces the historical background of the residents' committee, and then analyzes the participants’ behavior in the various processes of the residents' committee democratic election through specific cases. Next, this paper explores the autonomous, political, and administrative functions of residents' committees in reality. Then, it analyzes the causes and consequences of the residents' committee’s democratic election being a mere ‘democratic show,’ and the political and administrative violations of their self-governing functions. In conclusion, this paper asserts that compared with the development of social grassroots autonomy, the development and changes of residents' committees actually reflect that the state power is penetrating and occupying the grassroots level of urban society, continuously squeezing grassroots autonomous space, strengthening the state control over society. Lastly, this paper provides prospects for the potential direction of the election and the functions of the residents’ committee in the future. 중국의 거민위원회는 민주적 선거, 민주적 협상, 민주적 의사결정, 민 주적 관리, 민주적 감독 등의 자치 기능을 가진 기층 대중 조직이다. 이 와 함께 거민위원회는 중국 도시사회관리 체계 중 최하위의 관리·서비 스등의 행정 기능을 맡고 있다. 권위주의적 정치체제인 중국공산당 (CCP)의 일당통치에서도 거민위원회는 안정유지·동원·교육 등 정치 기능을 맡아 정권의 안정을 유지하고 통치의 정당성을 높이기 위해 중국 공산당이 사용하는 도구다. 상하이시는 중국에서경제 발전 수준이 가장 높은 도시이다. 이와 함께 중화인민공화국 건국 이후 상하이는 도시 기층 사회 관리 시스템 개혁의 선두에 서서 많은 시범 임무를 맡아 대표적인 ‘상하이 모델’을 형성되었 다. 상하이시 거민위원회의 지위와 기능의 발전과 변화는 중국에서 국가 와 사회 사이의 역동적인 상호작용과 변화를 관찰하고 중국 공산당이 지 배하는 당-국가 정치 체제 하에서 중국 사회의 미래 성장 공간을 예측 하는 진입점을 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문은 먼저 거민위원회의 역사적 배경을 소개한 후, 구체적인 사례를 통해 거민위원회 민주선거의 다양한 과정에서 참여자들의 행동을 분석한다. 다음으로, 본 논문은 현실에서 거민위원회의 자치기능, 정치기 능, 행정기능을 탐구한다. 이어 거민위원회의 민주선거가 단순한 ‘민주 쇼’에 그친 원인과 결과, 자치기능의 정치적·행정적 침해 등을 분석한 다. 결론적으로, 본 논문은 사회 기층 민주와 자유의 발전보다, 거민위원 회의 발전과 변화는 사실 국가 권력이 도시 사회의 기층에 침투하여 점 유하고 있으며, 기층 사회 자유 공간을 지속적으로 옥죄고 있으며, 정부 에 대한 국가 통제를 강화하고 있음을 반영한다고 주장한다. 마지막으로 본 논문은 선거의 잠재적 방향과 향후 거민위원회의 기능에 대한 전망을 제공한다.

      • 농산품 라이브 스트리밍 소비에 대한 연구

        From the perspective of livestreaming of agricultural products, it is based on related theories, models and assumptions such as parasocial identification and loyalty. Taking the livestreamer's moral traits, attractiveness, expertise, livestreaming interactivity and authenticity as independent variables, and parasocial identification and empathy as media variables, the research on consumer loyalty. The online questionnaire survey method was adopted to analyze the questionnaire data filled in by 325 consumers using SPSS and Amos. The results show that livestreaming of agricultural products increases consumer loyalty by increasing parasocial identification and empathy. Moral traits and attractiveness have a positive effect on parasocial identification, while expertise has no positive effect on parasocial identification. Interactivity and authenticity have a positive effect on empathy. The parasocial identification of consumers can be improved by improving the moral traits and attractiveness of anchors, thus enhancing the loyalty of consumers. By improving the interactivity and authenticity of livestreaming, consumers can have empathy, thus promoting consumer loyalty. The relevant conclusions of this study also provide suggestions for how to promote the formation of consumer loyalty from a practical perspective.       • Free-floating bike sharing in China : competitiveness of leading operators and influencing factors from a user's perspective

        China pioneered the invention and expansion of the fourth-generation bikesharing by introducing a system known as free-floating bike sharing (FFBS) in 2016. This study takes a closer look at the FFBS industry in China and attempts to measure the competitiveness of three leading FFBS operators (ofo, mobike, hellobike) in China from a customer preference perspective and to identify its influencing factors as well as their relative importance. An online survey was administered to people who have the experience of using ofo, mobike, as well as hellobike, and a total of 138 responses were collected. By applying the analytic hierarchy process, the study reveals that convenience, cost, and accessibility are the three criteria that exert significant influence on customer preference, while the convenience of bike unlock & return, the ease of payment, and the reliability of deposit refund are borne out to be the top three sub-criteria that are highly concerned by users. The relative importance of influencing factors are also found to be varied among different age groups. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is utilized to quantitatively measure market competitiveness. Hellobike turns out to be the most competitive operator from a user’s perspective, while mobike maintains its position as a leading player with a score slightly lower than hellobike. The once-dominant ofo, however, is gradually losing its competitive advantage to the later-comer—hellobike, and is found to be the brand with the lowest score.

      • 문화지능이 문화적응과 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 : 재한 중국근로자들 중심으로

        세계는 지금 글로벌 시대에 고속 성장기를 맞고 있으며, 아시아 국가들 사이, 특히 중국과 한국의 경제적 왕래와 문화적 상호 소통 등이 증가하고 있다. 그래서 공부와 일을 하러 한국을 찾는 사람은 많아지지만, 양국 간에는 문화와 생활습관 등의 차이가 있어 이국 생활을 하는 사람들에게는 고민과 어려움을 줄 수 있다. 이 문제는 근로자들뿐 아니라 기업 리더들의 관심도 높다. 잘못하면 근로자들 자체는 물론 회사에도 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 논문은 이를 출발점으로 하여 문화지능과 문화적응, 심리적 안녕감 간의 상관관계, 그리고 인지된 문화적 거리감 및 리더의 정서지능의 조절효과를 규명하기 위한 연구모형과 가설을 도출하였다. 연구대상으로는 한국에서 있는 중국 근로자들을 선정하여 설문 조사를 진행하였다. 연구 분석을 위해 SPSS 26.0, process와 smartPLS 3.0 이렇게 3가지 데이터 소프트웨어를 사용하였다. 연구 결과를 따르면 문화지능의 인지적 문화지능, 동기적 문화지능, 행동적 문화지능과 문화적응에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 문화적응과 심리적 안녕감에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다. 문화적응은 문화지능과 심리적 안녕감 간의 부분매개 효과를 나타났다. 인지된 문화적 거리감은 문화지능과 문화적응 간의 조절효과가 유의하지 않았다. 리더의 정서지능은 문화적응과 심리적 안녕감 간의 정(+)의 조절 효과를 미칠 것이다. 이 같은 논문의 결과에 따라 본 연구는 기존 문화지능과 문화적응 연구의 한계를 개선하고, 이에 대한 새로운 시각을 제공하며, 향후 연구 방향에 대한 이론적과 실무적 시사점을 가질 수 있다.
