하이난성과 한국 간의 관광과 전시컨벤션산업에서의 협력증대방안
하이난은 관광자원이 풍부하고 전시컨벤션산업의 잠재력이 큰 지역이다. 한국은 관광산업과 전시컨벤션산업 분야에서 전문인력과 운영경험측면에서 하이난 성에 비하여 앞서 있다. 따라서 두 국가 간에 두 산업에서의 협력을 도모하면 시너지 효과(synergy effect)를 확보할 수 있다고 예상된다. 본 논문은 전시컨벤션산업과 관광산업이 산업집적(industrial cluster)을 형성할 수 있다는 특성을 고려하여 하이난성과 한국의 관광산업과 전시컨벤션산업에 대한 선행연구를 검토한 후에 SWOT분석, 마케팅믹스 전략, 국제협력전략을 사용하여 협력증대방안을 도출하였다. SWOT측면에서 하이난성과 한국은 관광산업과 전시컨벤션산업에서 틈새시장을 확보할 가능성을 발견하였고, 이 같은 가능성을 실현하기 위해서는 기업전략과 공공정책을 이 분야의 인적자원개발과 관리와 산업인프라구축분야에 집중할 필요가 있음을 강조한다. 마케팅믹스전략차원에서는 제품개발과 판매촉진분야에 집중할 필요가 있음을 확인할 수 있었고, 이 분야에서 하이난성과 한국은 보다 체계적인 시장조사와 제품포트폴리오를 발전시킬 필요가 있음을 지적한다. 국제협력자원에서는 이미 출범한 하이나-제주-오끼나와현과의 협력은 실질적으로 동북아와 동남아를 연결시키는 교량역할을 할 수 있는 가능성을 보여주고 있고, 2013년에 와서 합의점을 찾기는 쉽지는 않지만 한중일간의 자유무역협정의 모색은 하이난성과 한국과의 관광산업과 전시컨벤션산업에서 보다 안정적인 총공급망과 핵심고객에 대한 고객관리기법을 효과적으로 동시에 구사할 수 있는 기회를 제공하리라고 예상된다. Hainan is famous for its abundant tourism resources and such an endowment may be fully utilized for developing exhibition convention industry. Korea is far ahead to Hainan in both human resource development and infra-structure. This dissertation has demonstrated the possible synergistic effect for launching economic cooperation between these two regions in the realms of tourism and exhibition convention industry by adopting the SWOT, marketing mix strategy and international cooperation model. The SWOT analysis demonstrates that it is required for both regions to concentrate on the human resource development scheme and the build-up of infrastructure as effective means of capturing potential niche markets for the tourism and exhibition convention industries. An analysis on the marketing mix strategy emphasizes the imperative need to develop a systematic marketing survey for facilitating product development and promotion activities.
