As the recognition of the society about an eco-friendly system gradually become growing, the green building certification has been started from 2006 and an improvement of applying the standard of certification has been pointed out constantly. Comparing with the revised standard of July 2010, the reliability of the certification is raised and an appraisal standard of the field of the energy is tightened. The acquired average score in the energy field concerning the appraisal article analysis of a reference school become low relatively. But the acquired score of the EPI has large difference between the appraisal articles. Therefore, research on decreasing of these differences should continue.
LEED Canada 인증사례의 평가항목별 적용도 분석 연구

This paper analyzes the applicability about the environment-friendly planning elements and elemental technology through the case study of the foreign Green certified building. This could grasp the tendency of the environment-friendly elemental technology activated practically and provide base data which contribute to activation of the domestic green building and design engineering improvement. In this research, LEED Canada Green Building Certification is introduced, and for examples of 92 green buildings which are certified by LEED Canada NC 1.0 from 2004 to 2010, we analyzed environment planning elements and the degree of application of Eco-friendly technologies applied to the buildings.

Recently, Environment-friendly building materials have been developed actively by building material companies. This research aims to present the basic data to develop environment-friendly building materials through the investigation and analysis on the emitted pollutants from building finishing materials. The emission factor of HCHO and VOC's was investigated on the environment-friendly 182 adhesives, 113 paints, 46 wooden flooring boards, and 33 wallpapers used in Korea. The results of the investigation indicate that Toluene, m,p-xylene, Ethylbenzene, o-Xylene, benzene, styrene which are specified as toxic VOC's showed high emission rate and Toluene is major pollutant emitted from most building finishing materials. The results of this research will be used as basic data when we develop environment-friendly building materials.

The improtance of environmental control system of traditional Korean Architecture which does not destory the ecosystem is growing because environment pollution is getting worse. Especially, the research is necessary about technique of traditional Korean Architecture which induces the natural ventilation through passive approach such as placement and shape of building in summer. Therefore, in this study examine the characteristic of Korean climate and the changes of indoor air-flow in accordance with floor plan of traditional Korean Architecture were analyzed.

This study amis to propose on the database of environmental-friendly building materials. Building materials classified by their ingredients and usage are tested to understand formaldehyde and TVOC emission characteristics. The Result is suggested a integrated database of the classification accordig to construction, ingredients and usage method of building materials.
