      • 한·중 자동차산업의 국제경쟁력 비교에 관한 연구

        World automobile industry had become mature in 1990s. The automobile industry has long been and continues to be one of the most important sectors in the economy of Korea and China because its plays a major role in national economic growth. The main purpose of this study is to find out the ways to strengthen the international competitiveness for automobile industry of China in the future. This study analyzes development stage and the state of trade pattern of Korean and Chinese automobile industry. By calculating competitiveness measures of the automobile industry, namely, product competitiveness, export market share, RCA, the measures comparatively analyze the international competitiveness of the automobile industry between these two countries for the period from 2006 to 2010. By analyzing global of the Korea-China's Automotive Industry status and Korea-China's Automotive trade structure, Korea-China's Automobile industry, each of the strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats which deducted the SWOT analysis. This study used various of statistical data and literature to analyse. In order to collect data, the previous studies such as domestic and foreign books, academic journals, papers, related reports and relevant of domestic and foreign organizations' views were analysed. Also, a lots of statistical data was used, Bureau of Statistics, Korea Automobile Industry Research Institute, Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association, and statistical analysis has been used to which include data and reports. The results show that Korea already has the bandwidth to compete with other major counties by either the whole industry standards or by sector standards and China has expanded faster than before. Despite that, China has not ensured international competitiveness of the automobile industry when compared with Korea. There are the methods to strengthen the international competitiveness for automobile industry of China as follows : (1) developing its own brands (2) securing technical development ability (3) establishing economies of scale (4) pursuing foreign entry strategy (5) developing new hybrid vehicles and environmentally friendly vehicles (6) carrying modularization of auto-parts industry (7) improving A/S (8) heightening division of labor by functions of value added activities.

      • 색상 특징 정보와 질감 정보를 이용한 이미지 검색 방안

        In this paper, we present an image retrieval method based on color-spatial features and texture information extracted from objects in an image. The processes for extracting the color-spatial feature information consist of creating DC image from an original image, changing a color coordinate system, decomposing regions using Quadtree and extraction major color of partitioned regions. The processes for extracting the texture information consist of segmenting an image, creating MBRs of object or background, wavelet transformation of MBRs. The retrieval process are based on similarity comparisons between the query image group using the color-spatial and texture features, it produces image with higher similarity. Our method is able to reduce the amount of feature vector storage by about 50% by adding texture information to criteria of similarity, we can present more precis experimental results.

        Recently, there is growing a demand for low-carbon green growth strategy for 'sustainable growth' because of the world-wide stress for reduction of greenhouse gas and environmental restrictions. Given that interest in environment is growing throughout the world, and from the perspective of developing pro-environmental industries, natural resources recycling business is becoming a source research area, since it solves environmental issues and produces new opportunities for future economy. This study's purposes is to represent strategic management method for vitalization and analysis of efficiency scrap iron recycling business. Scrap metal is important because steel industry could be a keystone of national development and a major energy of economic growth. However, it is an important national resources to play critical role in maintaining steel industries competitiveness. In recent international state, territorial disputes between China and Japan, Dokdo Island issues and Middle East crisis are all natural resources war for future resources. Korea will achieved a period self-sufficiency of the scrap iron within ten years. So, at this point, it is necessary to seek efficient growth by realizing the status of domestic scarp iron industry and supplementing the problems.

        This research is a type of research into more efficient use and the substantive of the game on the economic viewpoint which is in order to prove the existence of the difference of the online game users favorite games characteristics. Its characteristic is excluding and overcoming the limitations of existing researches. This paper mainly includes the status and strategy of Korean online game companies enter into the Chinese market and also the statues and related regulations and policies of Chinese online games market. And also the direction of Korean online game companies enters into the Chinese market. What is development status and characteristics and problems of the Korean game industry? What is the development status of the Chinese game industry and the competitive environment and outlook? What is the direction of the development of the Chinese and Korean game industry? The task of this study is to establish the strategy of Korean online game companies enter into the Chinese online game market by examining the literature, case studies and data analysis as well as researching the reasons for the success and achievements of the Chinese market and studying the barriers for the Korean games enter into the Chinese online games market. The paper studies the relevant papers and pamphlets, government publications, various statistics, literature and the case of other foreign countries as well as the enterprise how to enter into the Chinese online game companies. Although the game industries in South Korea and China are different in the environment and stages of the development process still the two countries have game industries is the important common condition in the second era. Korean game industry is leading the level of relatively computer games and arcade game by the usage of the network and mobile games, the game industry's growth under the driven of wide range of wired and wireless communications infrastructure penetration. In the online game community, portal integration and multi gaming platform process, the size of the market narrow and the first to occupy part of the enterprise market monopoly in deepening, great efforts should be made in order to enter overseas markets. China is just entering the stage of growth of the domestic market and occupies the unstable position in the game industry but the world's most rapidly developing countries in having market potential and growth rate while in this stage the proliferation of illegal copies, stagnant game industry exist.       • 親環境的 知識基盤産業集積地區 單位計劃에 관한 基礎的 硏究

        "Knowledge-Based Industry Clusters" is an unfamiliar term recently rising in this country and is being watched as 21th century's advanced industrial complex. Knowledge-Based Industry Clusters means enhancing competitive power of the country by preparing innovative cluster oriented by knowledge based industries. Our country is promoting the plans to prepare starting in 2004 by nominating and operating knowledge-based industry clusters and these plans are revealing problems of that the environmental considerations are not enough being centered by economy oriented industrial accumulation. Therefore, as a counter-plan against these problems, District Unit Plan Environment-Friendly Knowledge-Based Industry Clusters that will consider natural environment, city-spatial character, the status of industrial accumulation is being prepared in preparing the plan to make Knowledge-Based Industry Clusters. To set up dynamic innovative cluster based on the concept of District Unit Plan Environment-Friendly Knowledge-Based Industry Clusters, should set up local innovation system, strengthen the axis of industrial clusters and development, prepare the base to set up local innovation, set up platform for local innovation and strengthen the network for it. and we are to emphasize on strengthening of image as a knowledge-based industrial city, harmony between the industrial function of the city and nature, setting up of environment-friendly transport system, circulation and network of ecosystem as basic direction of development. As concrete contents of them, we were to examine how the environment-friendly planning factors are being applied in the domestic, foreign cases. To Daeduk techno valley that is a domestic case, energy circulation and resource utilization plan, environment-friendly transportation plan, ecological outer space plan, environment-friendly building plan, eco-community plan based on above 5 planing factors were applied. We could see that to Sea-star Science City that is a foreign case, 5 items of environment-friendly factors i.e. active city environment, functional transportation system, fertile cultural life, development of residental area, place to meet, surrounding environment factor that are different from the domestic case were being applied. As a experiment for active introduction of environment-friendly planning factors confirmed through analysis of domestic, foreign cases, we set up District Unit Plan of Environment-Friendly Knowledge-Based Industry Clusters for selected objective of Galmae-ri, Hoeryong-ri, Sechool-ri of Baebang-myon area of Asan city. As for the process of planning, at the beginning we systematically researched and analyzed natural environment, city spatial character, status of industrial accumulation of the objective and then went through all processes of basic conception and designing i. e. the purpose and necessity of development, abstract and major status of the development, potential power and to induce the content of the plan to be environment-friendly, divided the environment plan factors to 4 processes of Green & Blue, Building, Circulation, Zoning and draw out the result of environment-friendly plan factors and set up District Unit Plan of Environment-Friendly Knowledge-Based Industry Clusters. The District Unit Plan of Environment-Friendly Knowledge-Based Industry Clusters is an environment-friendly industrial cluster and will be a counter-plan to make future type advanced industrial city in that human being, nature and science(industry) are harmonized. Thereby future advanced industrial city will bring enhancement of value of city image and enhancement of the quality of life of the citizens through improvement of environment and enhancement of the ratio of green tract of land. Therefore, we hope this data of research is to be widely used in 21st century’s plan of advanced industrial complex to continuously grow as future industrial cities.

      • FTA체결이 국내 서비스산업에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Generally, the service industry is a very large-range and different industry in terms of its fields compared to other industries, and when compared to general products, its characteristics are intangibility, inseparability between production and consumption, and its impossibility to store it. Due to such service features, it was difficult to prescribe consistent rules for the service industry. However, as the economy began to turn into a service, perception on the importance of services began to change. The service sector is being newly recognized for its importance due to the specific gravity of it in the national economy, increase of creating added values, and its high employment effect. When examining the analysis results according to income gaps within FTA nations from an FTA effect perspective, service trade is more effective among countries without an income gap, while product trade is more effective among countries without an income gap. However, it was found that for product trades, it was more effective when nations entered an FTA that had an income gap. In conclusion, the bipolarizaton of many countries after entering an FTA is an unavoidable truth. With these analysis results, we can deduce a few policy points and related items on pursuing FTA policies by Korea. The following points are those deduced before, during and after entering an FTA. First, in order to promote service trades, it appears to be advisable to pursue FTA with countries with small income differences with Korea. Second, for the development of the Korean service industry, which has relatively weak international competitiveness, it appears to be advisable to place more importance on the service sector when determining the sector for FTA negotiations. Third, it appears that the government will have to consider policies for the continued growth of service trade after the fourth year of the FTA. In addition, the conditions for preventing bipolarization when entering an FTA are as seen below. First, come up with plans to expand the taxation base and improve taxation fairness. Second, come up with plans for more assertive support policies for the party with weaker competitiveness. Third, is to provide integrity for the social security policy. In conclusion, in order to prevent more severe bipolarization caused by the Korea-US FTA and to share the profits of growth for all constituents and achieve social integration, while enhancing growth potential, the government should upgrade their policies on various taxation and social security. In addition, the government should come up with a blueprint on how Korea's taxation and financial structure will become more advanced by increasing the average level of OECD through a different income allocation reform rate.

      • 한국 김치산업의 대일 수출마케팅전략에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze and carry out what Korean kimchi has in the industrial structure as well as in the SWOT. Currently, 85% of the main force of export trade market is occupied by Japan, so to find a solution to Korean kimchi export competitiveness in the market share, trade specialization index and export tendency index will be applied and analyzed. Based on these outcomes, export marketing strategies will be presented. In Korea, kimchi is not just a food, but a cultural concept in itself, which has dominated the lives of koreans. Today, Korean kimchi plays an important role and is advertised to the world as an unique cultural tourism product. However, the reality of current domestic kimchi industry is not in a good situation. In 2005, there was a incident of parasite contamination in some kimchi's, then heavy metal contamination detection, then the added inflow of low-cost Chinese kimchi imports and exchange rate instability etc. In addition, there is the environmental changes which can bring big, serious damages and affect the domestic kimchi production as well as export trade. Especially with increase of both Japanese and Chinese export and import of kimchi, such as increase in Japanese kimchi production and low-cost Chinese kimchi imports. Even accounting for 85% export of Korean kimchi to Japan, in the long run, Korean kimchi export will be affected by sharp drop in sales. To evaluate the competitiveness of export, such indicators as trade specialization index (TSI), market share and export tendency index were used and applied to see Korean kimchi in its relation to export competitiveness, thru analysis, the result is in the Japanese market share, as its broken down to each countries market share value in the Japanese kimchi market status (2006), the standard price measures are; made in Japan 75.5%, made in Korea 18.6%, made in China 5.7%, standard materials used are; made in Japan 79.4%, made in Korea 15.9% Made in China 4.7%. Although Korea's kimchi exports to Japan is only 9.1% of total production, there is still a huge market in Japanese kimchi market, which remains attractive enough for future export market. Korea's kimchi trade specialization index (TSI) in 2003 was 0.80, and has steadily decreased every year to -0.19 in 2007, and in 2008 to -0.14, a slight decrease in the degree of depreciation minus(-) have been recorded. As a result, it shows a gradual decline in the export competitiveness in the kimchi export industry. From 2003 to 2008, during the six years, the average export tendency index appears to be 11.42 which shows a very high propensity of Korean kimchi export to the Japanese kimchi market, and export tendency index analysis indicates the fact that Korean kimchi has export competitiveness in the Japanese kimchi market, and at the same time, an important determining factor in measuring the success of Korean kimchi export in this market. In addition, the result shown from the Korea kimchi industry's analysis and SWOT analysis appears that the problem with the kimchi exporters is that the manufacturers are small, with weakening competitiveness, problem with supply and demand of raw materials, focusing too much importance to export market, lack of systematic information as well as export strategies and finally lack of high quality and differentiation. Therefore, for the globalization of the Korea kimchi, we need to face the current domestic kimchi industry's weaknesses by overcoming with maximizing the strengths and opportunities of foreign market, analyze the intimidation factors and strengthen export competitiveness. First, with the instability of Korean won and uncertainty of subsidiary supply, the government must ensure a system needed to support for expansion. Secondly, consider the characteristics of the consumer of the export country, so to develop a wide range of products to target specific consumers choice as well as pushing forward diversifying the Korean kimchi market. Third, the on-going fermentation process of kimchi continues during shelf life, so to overcome this, a new packaging development plan is necessary.  Fourth, compare with Japanese and Chinese kimchi, Korean kimchi needs to be recognized and emphasized for "High quality and safety of Korean kimchi products", as well as differentiating thru strategy and planning of its natural health benefits and highlighting korean kimchi"branding" is necessary. Fifth, in partnership with local producers, citizens to promote benefits of kimchi, to expand business opportunities and develop variety of ways to use this product for market success. Sixth, to expand export industry, preparing and developing diversification of the market is desperately needed. Seventh, to improve awareness of kimchi and improving the commercial value, there needs to be intensive public relations accompanied by continuous research and development. Eighth, there needs to be a specific development research just for kimchi in order to increase its commercial value as well as continuous research and development.

      • 문화산업의 해외시장 수출 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

In this time, cultural, which reflects all the intellectual resources of a society, has been considered as the most important value in this global market world. Many researchers are require to know cultural industry. Therefore, many studies is shortage a numerical statement. This is limitations of study. Research of many field are making a study of economization of cultural industry. But there are nothing about research of the differential country a numerical statement about korea and many of cultual industry. Before looking for the a numerical statement and infra of cultural, this study checked up the state of cultural industry of the French, China, Japan, United State and Korea etc.. The cultural industry is considered the important growth power of the cultural industry as a whole. However, korean cultural products and cultural products and cultural contents are still vulnerable in the international market, in terms of intellectual property rights. Against this background, the korea government and the relevant industrial sectors should prepare measures for the korean cultural products to be protected while penetrating the global market. And, For giving the people who like korean cultural products a positive impressive of korea, national competitiveness should be sharpened. The cultural industry interferes with the effective policy of government, tax, and etc.. Accordingly this study deal with the concept and significance of cultural industry, and should be export activation of oversea market about cultural industry.

      • 한국 인삼의 수출 경쟁력분석과 수출 확대방안에 관한 연구

        Korean Ginseng, a traditional staple of our nation, has been recognized for its top quality as major export commodity for long time that represents our nation in the world market, giving the nation the pride as suzerain state of ginseng through steady growth of the industry. The reason ginseng industry is so important in our country is because it is a key agricultural product that can never be forsaken in view of national economic perspective as well as socio-cultural aspect. However, due to abolition of Red Ginseng Monopoly Act of July 1, 1996, the ginseng industry entered free competition environment, leading the industry into exorbitant competition and reduction of profitability. Externally, the nation enjoyed being the country of top ginseng production and export up until mid 1970s, however from mid 1980s, the country got behind China and from mid 1990s, the U.S. and Canada, with its position shaking. It is that ginseng is facing new challenge due to changes in domestic and overseas environmental conditions. If such situation persists with no particular measures, our ginseng industry will be bound to lose market share in international market that has been lingering even so, and in the worst lose base of existence in the domestic market as well. On the other hand, an analysis of Korean ginseng in major international ginseng markets has shown that it maintains competitiveness in quality, packaging, design and consumer recognition, however in the standpoint of pricing competitiveness, it is having hard times in coping with aggressive sale strategy of North America produced ginseng and low price of China produced products. Such reduction of pricing competitive power is working as obstacle for exportation. In addition, in the U.S. etc, the products are mostly consumed only among Asians due to weak recognition to the locals, which is noted as a problem. After all, this research concluded that to expand export and secure competitive power of Korean ginseng in the world markets, it is impending to prepare opportunities to restore the reputation as suzerain state of ginseng, enter overseas market and maintain and expand market share through review of our country's ginseng industry and analysis of the characteristics and competitiveness with export competing countries. In free competition market environment, it is necessary to adapt in domestic and overseas environment change around Korea ginseng and lead new paradigm and strategic progress for Korea ginseng industry. Therefore, the research intends to propose methods of Korea ginseng export expansion and development based on the analysis of the external situation of Korea ginseng and comparison of international competitive power with major competing countries.
