본 연구에서는 국내에서 세 가지의 한국판 CES-D(Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale, Radloff, 1977)가 사용되고 있다는 점에 주목하여 이 세 가지 척도에 포함된 문항들 가운데 가장 좋은 문항으로 구성된 개선된 척도를 개발하고자 시도하였다. 이 목적을 위하여 2개의 독립된 연구를 수행하였다. 연구 1에서는 세 가지 척도에서 가장 적절하다고 판단되는 30문항을 선발한 후, 2개의 집단(대학생 집단, 성인 집단)에게 2개의 서로 다른 지시문과 2개의 서로 다른 순서에 의하여 질문지를 실시하였다. 이렇게 다양한 집단, 지시문, 및 순서에 의하여 9개의 독립된 분석을 실시한 후, 가장 적절한 20문항을 선발하였다. 연구 2에서는 연구 1에서 선발한 20문항으로 구성친 개정된 한국판 CES-D의 신뢰도와 티당도를 검증하였다. 그 결과 개정판 CES-D의 내적 일치도가 .91로 나타나서 높은 신뢰도를 보여주었다. 하지만, 문항 4의 경우 문항-전체 상관이 .20으로 나타나서 추후 연구에서 개선될 필요성을 암시하고 있었다. 또한 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 미국판과 같이 4요인 구조로 나타났다. 하지만, 각 요인에 속하는 문항의 내용이 미국판과 다소 다르게 나타났다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 이와 같은 차이가 문화에 의한 차이인지 아니면 표집수의 크기에 의한 것인지를 탐색할 필요성을 암시하고 있었다. 그 밖에도 본 연구 결과의 제한점과 추후 연구에서의 시사점을 제안하였다.
몇가지 작물중 침투성 살충제 Carbofuran의 잔류량 분석

In order to ascertain the safety of the systemic insecticide carbofuran - treated crops. garlic, peanut and potato were collected randomly from markets near the major producing farms and analyzed for the residues of carbofuran and its main metabolite, 3-hydroxycarbofuran. The in vitro metabolism of carbofuran in phosphate buffer extracts of the crops was investigated. The results obtained were as follows. 1.The recoveries of carbofuran and 3- hydroxycarbofuran from the spiked samples were 92~ 100% in all samples. The detection limit and minimum amount of carbofuran detected were 0.02ppm and 0.1ng, and those of 3-hydroxycarbofuran 0.06ppm and 0.3ng, respectively. 2.Two mature garlic samples out of 20 contained 0.13 and 0.07ppm of carbofuran, respectively, showing a detection frequancy of 10%. The residue level was less than the maximum residue limit(0.5ppm) set by the health authorities in Korea. Only one mature garlic sample out of 20 contained 0.13ppm of 3-hydroxycarbofuran. 3.The residues of carbofuran and 3-hydroxycarbofuran in the immature garlic, peanut and potato samples were less than the detection limits. 4.The application of carbofuran to the fields of garlic, peanut and potato would be safe, considering that the estimated maximum acceptable daily intake of carbofuran from garlic was 0.0007mg which is 0.13% of the maximum acceptable daily intake(0.55mg) . 5.Carbofuran was hydrolyzed in vitro mainly to carbofuran phenol(m/z 164) in phosphate buffer extracts of the three crops in contrast to the major oxidative metabolism in situ. The amount of the metabolite increased with the incubation time.
제약적 최소자승추정을 이용한 미분기반 다중계층 광류 추정

본 논문에서는 광류 제약 방정식(optical flow constraint equation) 및 영상의 공간적인 상관성을 고려하여 제약적 최소자승추정(constrained least square estimation)을 이용한 미분기반 다중계층(multiscale) 광류 추정 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 인접한 화소간의 움직임 속도가 유사하다는 가정 하에 다중계층으로 광류를 추정하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 광류 제약 방정식 및 인접한 화소간의 움직임 속도가 유사하다는 가정에 의하여 발생하는 오차를 줄이기 위한 정제(refinement) 방법도 제안하였다. 제안한 방법이 기존의 방법에 비하여 더욱 정확하게 광류를 추정할 수 있음을 실험을 통하여 확인하였다. In this paper, we propose a gradient-based multiscale optical flow estimation method using the constrained least-square estimation, considering the spatial correlation of the image. The basic assumption of the proposed method is that the neighboring pixels are having a similar velocity. Also we propose a refinement method to decrease the error, reviving optical flow constraint equation and neighboring pixels are having a similar velocity. Experimental results show that the proposed method can more accurately estimate the optical flow than the conventional methods.
Effect of recipient breed on delivery rate of cloned miniature pig

<B>Summary</B><P>The miniature pig is regarded as a better organ donor breed for xenotransplantation than other pig breeds because the size of their organs is similar to that of humans. To improve efficiency of cloned miniature pig production, we analysed the effect of breed difference between donor cells and embryo recipients on pregnancy rate and delivery rate. Cloned porcine embryos derived from domestic or miniature pig donor cells were transferred to domestic or miniature recipient pigs. Delivery rate was significantly higher when embryos reconstructed with miniature pig donor cells were transferred to miniature pig recipients as compared with that of embryos transferred to domestic pig recipients. However, pregnancy rates were similar between the two groups. The breed of donor cells, but not of embryo recipients, seems likely to affect litter size. From a 13 610 gene cDNA microarray, 1551 (11.7%) genes showed significantly different levels of expression between the fetuses of the two breeds. Vascular endothelial growth factor and c-kit ligand genes related to implantation and maintenance of pregnancy were significantly down-regulated in miniature pigs. In conclusion, the differential gene expression in fetuses interferes with proper fetal/maternal interactions, and results in late-stage pregnancy loss. Our results indicate that the miniature pig is the preferred embryo recipient breed than domestic pig for producing cloned miniature piglets.</P>
Selection of Early Cleaved Embryos and Optimal Recipients to Improve Efficiency of Pig Cloning

Early cleavage is a reliable prognostic tool for successful embryo transfer in assisted reproduction because early cleaved embryo show better pregnancy rate after transfer. There for, preparation of good embryo recipient is important factor to optimize efficiency of pig cloning. The present study was performed to evaluate the effect of early cleavage on the in vivo development of cloned embryos and to analyze breed, parity and estrous synchrony to optimize recipient for pig cloning. In vitro matured porcine oocytes derived from local slaughterhouse and fibroblasts derived from miniature pig fetuses were used for somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT). Reconstructed embryos were transferred to recipient pigs on the same day of SCNT or after 1~2 days of in vitro culture for selecting early cleaved embryos. Breed, parity and date of standing estrous of recipients were recorded for analysis. After 25~35 days after embryo transfer pregnancy was diagnosed using ultrasonography, and pregnant recipients were monitored till delivery. Between purebred and crossbred, no significant difference was founded in both pregnancy and delivery rates. However, early cleaved embryos showed significantly higher pregnancy (46.2%) and delivery (12.8%) rates compared to non-selectively transferred group (24.8% and 4.5%, respectively). The results also showed that the recipients showing standing estrous on the same day of SCNT and less than 4 parities were most suitable for pig cloning.
