This paper is intended to study 〈Jumong Myth〉 which's written by many writers newly. It seems to me that there are characters which are represented images of Jumong and Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉 in their works. First of all, it seems that they showed aspects of Jumong or Yoohwa as the Hero of the founder or the Hero's supporter of wisdom in their poems 『Dongmaeng』 and 『The Four Pillars and Eight Characters of Go, Ju-mong as the founder of Goguryeo Dongmyeongsungwang』by Seo, Jeong-ju, 『Lady Yoohwa』by Song Su-kwon and 『The sky of Jumong』 by Yoon Keum-cho. Only Seo‘s characters are expressed a destiny and a right but Song and Yoon's are represented the Hero itself in the narrative process through agony of realities. The secondly, it seems that Lee, Kwang-su showed aspects of Jumong as a so n?a husband?a father through the life of the Hero in his work 『Dongmyeongwang of love』. And Song Ha-chun showed aspects of Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉 through a woman as a unusual birth of process and preservation of life in his work 『Daughters of Haback』. In conclusion, it seems that their works either poems or novels are represented and recreated various images of Jumong and Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉.

Protective Effect of Curcumin and Aqueous Extract of Onchengyeum on CCl_(4)-induced Hepatotoxicity

An aqueous extract of oriental herbal composition named Onchengyeum and curcumin, an antioxidant isolated from turmeric (Curcuma longa Linné) reduced hepatotoxicity induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl_(4)). Improved liver function was observed by measuring the activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (CRE), total cholesterol (TCHO), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-CHO), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-CHO), total protein (TP), albumin (ALB) and total bilirubin (BIL) in serum. Hepatic parameters monitored were levels of cholesterol (CHO), triglyceride (TG), malondialdehyde (MDA) and content of cytochrome P450 (CYP), level of glutathione (GSH), activities of NADPH-CYP reductase, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione S-transferase (GST), glutathione reductase (GR), glutathione peroxidase (GPx). The histopathological examination showed that the treatment of Onchengyeum and curcumin relieved the ballooning degeneration of hepatocytes which had been generated by CCl_(4). The results suggested that hepatoprotective effects of Onchengyeum and curcumin possibly are due to their promising antioxidative activity.

Iridology, developed more than 100 years ago, is the diagnosis of medical conditions through noting irregularities of the pigmentation in the iris The purpose of this study is to compare interrelation between CVA, hypertension family history and cardio-renal connective tissue in Iris Constitution through iris constitution examination. The subjects consist of 114 patients who were examined in Iris Constitution at Chonju Oriental Medicine Hospital attached to Wonkwang Univ. from September. 1St. 2000 to August. 31th. 2002. 1. In the distribution of Iris Constitution, among of 79cases, There are neurogenic type 13cases, abdominal connective tissue weakness constitution 31 cases, cardio-renal connective tissue weakness constitution 6 cases, cholesterol 7 cases and others 22 case in control group. 2. There are familial history of CVA and hypertention 32 cases, no familial history of CVA and hypertention1 3 cases, in 35cases of experimental group. These results imply that there is meaningfulness of interrelation between cardio-renal connective tissue weakness constitution and. CVA, hypertention.

1,2-proPanediol 이 propionaldehyde로 轉時의 메카니즘 : Vitamin B_12 CO-enzyme를 要하는 反應

Vitamin B_12 Co-enzyme을 必要로 하는 많은 特有한 反應이 最近에 記術되었다. 그러나 아직도 이 Co-enzyme의 觸媒機能은 알려져있지 않다. 이 問題를 解決함에 B_12를 要求하는 反應의 메카니즘을 理解하여야 한다. 이런 硏究를 究明하는 方法으로는 1.2 Propanediol이 Propionaldehyde로 cobamide를 要하는 轉換을 硏究하는데있다. 分子內의 산화환원 反應인 이 反應은 第1.2次의 水酸基群이 CHO 基群으로 置換하고 있다. 實驗上으로 區分할 수 있는 두개의 메카니즘은 第二次 水酸基群의 환원을 위해 存在한다. 이 환원을 위하여 必要되는 水素는 溶媒나 Propanediol 分子自體에서 생긴다. 이 두가지 일어날 수 있는 일을 區別하기 위하여 重水에서 酸素의 전환을 시행했다. 萬一 第二次水素群을 置換하는 水素가 溶媒에 依해 供給된다면 結果로서 생기는 Propionaldehyde는 α-位置에 重水素를 包含한다. 한편 萬一水素가 Propanediol 分子自體에서 유도된다면 Propionaldehyde는 溶媒로부터 Propion을 형성하는 결과로 重水素를 結合하지 않는다.

In this paper, self-tuning controller is designed, so that Hoo norm of the difference between the desired transfer function and the actual closed loop transfer function is minimized. For solving this problem. Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation method is introduced and 1-step ahead predictor is also utilized for the realizable controller design. A 2nd order system is used for simulation. The effect of the noise to the system output is shown to the rejected in simulation.

수도권 거점물류시설 규모 산정을 위한 상품 유통경로와 배송센터 수요분석

In recent studies Integrated Freight Terminal(IFT) has been suggested as the most relevant solution for the problems inhered in the freight transportation systems in Korea. Five optimal locations of the IFT have been determined in the previous studies fulfilled by the Korea Transport Institute(1990) and by Lee and Kang(1990). However, the government has decided to commence the construction of two IFT facilities first at the Metropolitan Seoul and Pusan. The purpose of this study is to analyze the demand for the Bukok IFT which will be constructed at the Metropolitan Seoul. In particular, the study is focused on the estimation of the demand for the storage facility among physical dirtribution facilities will be constructed in the IFT. For the prupose of this, commodity distribution channels are investigated for 9 commodity items which are anticipated to utilize the IFT. The survey is performed for 111 manufacturing firms which are located around the Metropolitan Seoul area. But the analysis is based on the data of 73 firms which have given relatively substantial answers. Twenty different commodity distribution channels are appeared in this survey. By merging the similar channels the commodity distribution channels can be categorized into 7 types. Only 36.1% of the firms engaged in the survey shows the willingness to use the IFT. Especially, food industry shows the heighest demand for the physical distribution center is defind as the facility related with physical distribution of commodeties, such as storage, loading/unloading, and distribution. The amount of shortage for storage is calculated based on the data for the annual product of each firm and for the handling capacily of the storage facilities owened by firms. Total amount of shortage for storage is about 38 milion tons at the Metropolitan Seoul area. In addition, there is strong request for the modernized operation systems of IFT, such as computer networks, mechanized loading / unloading facilities, and automatic storage facilities.

社會階層에 따른 衣服滿足度 決定變因 硏究

The purposes of this study were; (1) to investigate the differences of women's clothing satisfaction in the social classes, (2) to determine some of the socioeconomic and social-psychological determinants of clothing satisfaction according to social class. The data were analyzed Pearson's product correlation, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression. The results were; 1. 7 socio-economic variables and 4 social-psychological variables made significant differences according to social class. 2. The R²of the second multiple regression were .46 in high class, .21 in middle class and .50 in low class. Social-psychological variables more influenced on homemaker's clothing satisfaction than socio-economic variables without the difference of social class. 3. Specially in low class, social-psychological variables were influenced by socioeconomic variables.

남북한 어휘의 이질화 양상

The purpose of this study is to investigate the differentiation phenomenon between South and North Korean vocabulary. The researcher analyzes the unknown words of the opposite area that South and North Korean residents have indicated. In chapter 2, this study examines the characteristics of South Korean words unknown to North Korean residents. In chapter 3, the study also examines the characteristics of North Korean words unknown to South Korean residents. In chapter 4. the study analyzes the factors that differentiate two languages. The study suggests that in case of pure native words, both areas have many commonalities in every-day use languages. However, this study also attends to the differences in two languages. In North Korean, there are other words with more specified meaning. In addition, there are many socio-culturally coded native Korean words, refined languages and polysemies in North Korean. On the other hand, South Korean language includes Sino-Korean vocabulary, and they are mostly jargons and neologism originated from the political, economical, and sports field.
