      • 퍼지 추론을 이용한 분류 벡터 양자화기의 성능 개선

        In Classified Vector Quantization(CVQ) for image coding, the block classification pondering the block characteristics will be the most important procedure if we consider system performance. But it does not take effect because classification of conventional CVQ followed act on a heuristic and statistics method. In order to solve the problem of conventional methods, i.e, for block classification effectively we propose a fuzzy inferencing algorithm to improve its performance. To do this, fuzzy rules must be generated in the first. Our rules are based on energy distribution in transform domain with respect to spatial variation. Ultimately fuzzy inferencing of this paper apply these fuzzy rules for efficient block classification on a input image. As a result of efficient classification, our proposed method shows that blocking effect is decreased and PSNR(peak to peak signal to noise ratio) is increased by about 1 ∼ 2 dB for 0.2 ∼ 0.6 bpp range, when the performance is compared with Aizawa's scheme^[9].

        As You Like It에 나타난 Fool 플롯 연구

        To the Renaissance audience, the prevailing attitude on love and nature in pastoral was an ambivalent one. It would have presumably required an uncommon courage and foresight to perceive this problematic relationship. Moreover it would have been more than a creative job for a playwright to develop a new technique of dramatizing it. Shakespeare seems to have fulfilled this requirement. By developing Vice into Fool, Shakespeare established the Fool convention more firmly than any other contemporary writer did. The significance of the Fool convention is to be fully understood in terms of the Fool's role to place every characters in his/her own background. The fact is that contemporary minor writers presented a puppet shepherd and shepherdess estranged from his/her natural background or idealized on a pure intellectual level. While Shakespeare took a concise measurement of every psychological distances of the characters in experiencing nature and succeeded in constructing vivid characters. Touchstone and Jaques, unseen in Lodge's Rosalynde, play typical fools. Especially Touchstone shoots his bolts behind a stalking-horse hiding his character, which is traced back to the character of Vice as an ambidexter. He transforms himself so brilliantly, depending on the opposite speaker, that one is simply fascinated. But his transformation in AYL contributes to revealing the Weltanschauung of other characters so critically that each is individualized and organically merged into his own background. In conclusion, the Fool convention made it possible for Shakespeare to achieve three goals : the synthesization of various views of the Elizabethan age, the divulgence of the problematicity of pastoral view on nature and love, and the characterization in depth.

        이글은 Tadeusz Kowzan과 Erika Fisher-Lichte의 이론을 원용하여 탈춤의 연극성을 규명한 작업이다. 언어/춤, 언어/상활, 언어/제스츄어 등 여극 기초간의 대립적 양상에 의해 탈춤의 골계적 비극성이 드러나는 것으로 파악하였다. 이 독특한 연극성이 현대의 마당극에도 적용되어야 비로서 새로운 한국 연극의 기틀을 마련할 수 있을 것이라고 판단된다. The concept of theatricality has undergone a historical change. How to define theatricality is a controbersal matter among contemporary theater critics. Un this regard the semiotic approach provides an efficient tool for clarifying the unique theatricality phenomena drown the audience in a burst of laughter tinted with tears.

      • BPNN을 이용한 3차원 지형복원 : 평탄지형 및 산악지형의 비교 A Comparison between mountainous topography and Flatness

        본 논문에서는 프랙탈과 신경망을 이용하여 등고선 정보로부터 3차원 지형을 복원하는 알고리즘을 바탕으로 여러지형의 경우에 대해 실험결과를 보인다. 지형의 특징을 좀 더 사실적으로 반영할 수 있는 더 많은 조건을 부여한 데이타를 기존의 특징 데이타에 부가하여 학습한다. 학습 결과 평균오차가 줄어든 학습 패턴을 이용하여 산악지형과 평탄지형에 대하여 실험하고 실험 결과 산악지형에 대한 적용이 더 효과적임을 보인다. We show the results of experimtnts based on a algorithm which can reconstruct the better 3-D mountainous shapes from contour lines data using the fractals and the Backpropagation Neural Networks(BPNN). We have learned the feature data in addition to reflect the characteristics of complicated topography, and have experimented on mountainous and flatness topography using the proposed learning pattern by the reduced average error. The results of experiments show that the mountainous topography is better than that of flatness on the similarity and the visuality.

      • 영상의 특성에 적응적인 웨이브렛 대역 분할 기법

        The recent attention of image coding community is paid to wavelet transform, which is of interest for the nonstationary signal analysis because it provides good localization in time and frequency. There are two directions of study in decomposing an image by wavelet transform, that is octave form and wavelet packet. Of this, wavelet packet works adequately for all images with various properties, but it has a difficulty of requiring relatively massive processing time. This paper proposes an adaptive wavelet band decomposition scheme considering image properties to obtain an image coding gain by minimizing the entropy of each band. Simulation result shows that our scheme gets the same band decomposition form comparing to that of the Vetterli's optimal wavelet packet method when images with various properties are tested. Furthermore, the processing time of our scheme is superior to that of Vetterli's, about 8∼10 times.

      • DCT 영역에서 분류 벡터 양자화를 이용한 블럭 예측 부호화

        In this paper, an effective block predictive coding was presented. This method makes use of the basic properties of image and the analysis of the correlation within spatial domain and transform domain. For this block predicive coding, first, the correlations between spatial domain and transform domain are analyzed, and then with these properties a very effective classifier is designed for obtaining minmized errors. After setting delegate blocks out of each class passed through the classifier, the errors between input blocks and delegate blocks are classified-vector quantized. Simulation shows that significantly improved results are obtained compared to Aizawa method[4], that is, in terms of the quality of reconstructed image, 3∼5 dB at the same bit rate, and the blocking effect is reduced even for low bit rates.

        This study consists in clarifying the meaning of various angles and velocity, and two types of the stroke of a pushing shot and hitting shot through the three-dimensional image analyses among the factors of exercise. To attain the purpose of such studies, the result of experiment and analysis for each of three athletes of boys and girls in high school and three persons in general came to the conclusion as follows; 1. The last motion of a group of A having a command of a follow shot showed greatly, compared with two groups of B and C, and this showed that a group of A took a rectilinear motion greatly to gain power and two group of B and C took a rotary motion greatly to gain speed. 2. A group of A having a command of a pushing shot move body weight forward from behind and give the first consideration to a rectilinear motion, and two groups of B and C having a command of the stroke of hitting shot used the turning of the shoulder and the waist and gave much weight to a rotary motion than a rectilinear one. 3. The position of the hitting point of a group of A having a command of a pushing shot turned out to be the waist, and that of the hitting point of two groups of B and C, the chest, and namely this showed that the position of the hitting point was decided according to the form of the stroke and pictures of various kinds. 4. In impacting, the speed decreased, for the power was controled to keep an accurate timing of stroke just before impacting

        복직근 및 박근 근피판술을 이용한 골반 및 서혜부 연부조직 결손의 재건

        Many operations for the reconstruction of the pelvic area have been studied until now. The local muscle flap is often used for the closure of these complex wound. But, these local muscle flaps may not be available for reconstruction due to the factors of infection, radiation, and surgical trauma. Since rectus abdominis muscle and gracilis muscle were introduced, their use has been steadily increased for the reconstruction of soft tissue defect of the pelvic area. Inferiorly based rectus abdominis muscle flap and the gracilis muscle flap have been adopted for well-vascularized soft tissue coverage of the defect of pelvis and groin area. These techniques were utilized in seven patients. Of these patients, rectus abdominis muscle flap was used on four patients and three patients were treated with gracilis muscle flap. Among these, chronic osteomyelitis of pelvic bone has been managed with inferiorly based rectus abdominis muscle flap in three patients. No complication has been found. The mean postoperative follow-up period was 26 months, with a range of 12 to 39 months. In conclusion, these muscles are functionally expandable , and provide adequate tissue volume with sufficient blood supply away from the zone of injury, and readily transposed into the pelvis and groin area through subcutaneous tunnel, and serve as an antibiotic delivery system that aids in the eradication of infection. These findings suggest a reconstructive option for the defect of pelvis and groin, and/or bone infection in this area.

        색상 측정 기기를 이용한 복합레진 적층 수복과 단일 수복의 색상 비교 분석

        Objectives: This study analyzed the difference in color caused by different thickness in enamel layer of composite resins when applied with single and layering placement technique, and evaluated if the results agreed with the shade guide from the manufacturers to verify reliability of the color matching process of the manufacturers. Materials and Methods: For single composite resin samples, 6 mm diameter and 4 mm thickness cylindrical samples were fabricated using Ceram-X mono (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and CIE L*a*b* values were measured with spectrophotometer. Same process was done for layering compositie resin samples, making 3 dentinal shade samples, 4 mm thickness, for each shade using Ceram-X duo (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and enamel shade resins were layered in 2 mm thickness and CIE L*a*b* values were measured. These samples were ground to 0.2 mm thickness each time, and CIE L*a*b* values were measured to 1 mm thickness of enamel shade resin. Results: Color difference (△E*) between single and layering composite resin was 1.37 minimum and 10.53 maximum when layering thicknesses were between 1 mm and 2 mm and 6 out of 10 same shade groups suggested by manufacturer showed remarkable color difference at anythickness (△E* > 3.3). Conclusion: When using Ceram-X mono and duo for composite resin restoration, following the manufacturer's instructions for chossing the shade is not appropriate, and more accurate information for Ceram-X duo is needed on the variation and expression of the shades depending on the thickness of the enamel.         How to Tame Death: Carpe Diemin Hwang Tong-gyu`s Poetry

        이 논문은 황동규 시에 드러난 죽음 화두의 변증법적 진화를 추적하는 연구이다. 황동규 시인의 죽음에 대한 기본 태도를 죽음 길들이기로 규정하고 그 모색의 과정을 1) 영원성에 대한 추구와 2) 자궁무덤화 과정이란 생사관이 서로 모순 상충했을 때 그 변증법적 합일 과정을 3) 하이데거적인 현존재와 4) 시인의 독특한 지유(Carpe Diem) 개념에 의해 죽음의 공포 나아가서는 죽음이란 화두에 대한 문제가 해결되는 것으로 파악하였다. 논증과정에서 죽음에 대한 에피쿠로스적 인식, 에픽테투스적 인식을 적용하면서 야기되는 미흡한 부분들은 하이데거의 "죽음에 대한 선주"(Vorlaufen zum Tode)개념과 선불교의 지유(Divine frolicking) 개념의 도입으로 비로소 황시인의 Carpe Diem적인 죽음관의 변증법적 성격을 확인할 수 있었다. This paper aims to elucidate the dialectical evolution of the theme of death in Hwang Tong-gyu`s poetry. Death is the kernel line of Koan(Hua-t`ou) for poet Hwang, who has ruminated on how to cure timor mortis gnawing at his heart. His poems traverse vital aspects of death ranging from timor mortis, memento mori, quest for the eternity to Carpe Diem. His path to tame death however shows a dialectical process in order to synthesize the opposite contradiction inherent in the body and the soul, the mortality and the eternal life, the pleasure and the pain, the evanescent and the permanent, and the ordinary and the transcendental. He rejects both the sensual and intellectual understanding of life and death. As death fetishist, he seeks to drive the male bolt of life into the female nut of death. At the apex of his poetic Enlightenment, he is awakened to the revelation that five senses are not enough nor is the logical thinking founded on language. The ultimate answer lies in the tradition of Zen Buddhism which foregrounds an immediate experience in the ordinary course of living where one can be a master of one`s surroundings by not being contaminated by nor swayed at the mercy of the power of whatever external to your Originally Pure Mind. In short, Carpe Diem for poet Hwang is to seize the moment of “divine frolicking”(至游), where one should transcend all kinds of boundary and discrimination by simply echoing and reflecting the object as it is.
