This is a study to modify the curriculum of the ocean civil engineering department in junior college. We collected and analyzed data which are concerned on the curriculum development or improvement, the marine techniques and the ocean policy. And then we also gathered the opinions of the professors serving at the ocean civil engineering department by holding several conferences and investigated the opinions of the ocean civil engineers serving at the industrial organization by way of the inquring papers. In addition we collected the advices of educational specialists and ocean civil specialists by visiting personally. On the basis of above opinions we developed the jobs of graduates and made a model curriculum shown in Table 6. We tried to intensify the subjects of special basic field related to the ocean & civil engineering and the subjects of basic experiment & practise. The ocean observation practise was newly formed and the E. D. P.S was reinforced.

This paper has been studied to determine the design tide level of the modified tidal frequency distribution of 10 harbors in the West sea of Korea with the data of TIDE TABLES(Vol.1, 1981) and established the relation among their design tide levels. The results were obtained as follows; 1.Their design tide levels are as shown in Table 2. 2.It is proved that *****(p. 7 수식이여~~~) 3.It is proved that *****(p. 7 어케혀여~~~) are resemblance.
Comb 형 전극구조를 갖는 AC 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 전기, 광학적 특성

The electrical and optical characteristics of comb type AC-PDP fabricated by the screen printing method were measured. The charge-voltage (Q-V), capacitance-voltage(C-V) and current-voltage (I-V) characteristics were also measured. The Q-V curve showed the firing voltage and transferred conduction charges and wall charges. The capacitance charge due to the charge of applied voltage was also observed from the C-V curve and it was shown that the air gap could not be considered 100% shorted during the discharge. It can be concluded that the increase of the discharge space by the comb type electrode structure reduces the firing voltage and the internal physical characteristics of the AC PDP cell can be understood by measuring various electrical characteristics.

It is necessary to provide sufficient daylighting for the high quality lighting in interior space. In these days various kinds of daylighting systems are developed and applied to buildings, however the difference of the purpose of an object room and a physical environment makes the Daylighting system to be unuseful. Therefore it is necessary to estimate the performances of the Daylighting system using the Computer program to apply the Daylighting system usefully. The purpose of this study is to develop the computer program using the Monte Calro Method and Ray-tracing technique to estimate the performances of the Daylighting system in interior space and the consumption of electric energy by dimming control of electric lighting. The accuracy of the computer model was validated through measurements with physical scale models under real clear sky conditions.

Recently, various daylighting systems have been developed and applied to buildings However, existing daylighting systems are of no practical use due to a high initial cost and difficulties in maintenance In addition, there is a main problem of securing sufficient additional space for collecting daylight and to be available in the overcast sky A wall-integrated daylighting system, which is the subject of this study and doesn't need additional space for collecting daylight, is a very useful daylighting system, because it can substitute for a vertical wall of a building The purpose of this study was to evaluate the daylighting performance of the wall-integrated daylighting system using two mock-up models The performance of the general windows were compared with that of the wall-integrated daylighting system placed on the windows in terms of illuminance distribution on the work plane at the height of 75cm and illuminance distribution on the south wall Also The purpose of this study is to find methods to minimize glare problems of a newly developed wall-integrated daylighting system A total of six glare reduction methods were comparatively tested through measurements with physical scale models The six glare reduction methods included light-guiding ceiling, planer light shelf, parabolic light shelf, horizontal louvers, vertical louvers and prismatic panel, all of which were attached to the wall-integrated daylighting system The measurements were conducted under direct sunlit conditions for the winter solstice, summer solstice and the equinox

Titanium thin film was deposited on the chemically etched (100) surface of silicon single crystal by the vacuum evaporation. The interfacial oxide was grown by ramp heating. The Ti/p-Si solar cells have shown good rectification properties with the 0.78V built-in potential and the 20μA/㎠ reverse saturation current density in dark. The best cell have 0.58V open circuit voltage, 38.0 mA/㎠ short circuit photocurrent density, 0.64 fill factor and 13.9% energy conversion efficiency under 100mW/㎠ tungsten halogen lamp irradiation. Therefore, this solar cell is very promising one, but the life testing is not performed yet in our laboratory.
