        대학생 간 언어폭력: 불쾌함의 상처

        Purpose: Verbal violence as one element of school violence is an area of research that is often overlooked. The purpose of this study was to explore cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of verbal violence experienced by university students during everyday campus life. Methods: Twenty-one students aged 20 to 27 years were enrolled and face-to-face in-depth interviews were conducted. Data were audio-taped, transcribed, and then analyzed using the method of thematic analysis. Results: The following seven themes appeared. "Coarse words everywhere," "needing a change," and "finding myself also being verbally aggressive" were cognitive aspects of the experience. "Remaining hurt" and "gradually increasing feelings of unpleasantness" were emotional facets. Lastly, "controlling myself with patience" and "avoiding uncomfortable situations" were behavioral strategies of participants. Conclusion: Findings of this study suggest that relevant intervention programs need to be made to help student-victims mitigate their unpleasant feelings resulting from experiences of verbal violence.

        팀기반학습에서 학습자와 교수자의 역할: 간호학생 관점에서의 내용분석 연구

        Purpose: This study was conducted to delve into the perceptions of nursing students regarding the roles of learners and instructors in the context of team-based learning. Methods: The participants in the study were 23 fourth-year nursing students who had completed a team-based simulation practicum course. Textual data were collected from students’ reflection journals and a post-lecture open-ended survey, and then scrutinized through a quantitative content analysis. Results: According to participating students, the roles of learners were prioritized in terms of “activeness,” “self-directed learning,” “expressing opinions,” “sharing responsibilities and collaboration,” and “acting as teachers to each other.” In addition, key aspects of the instructor’s role were identified as “correcting errors,” “directional guidance,” “providing materials,” “resolving conflicts between students,” and “support.” Conclusion: When team-based learning is applied in nursing education, the faculty must emphasize student accountability and a well-defined understanding of the instructor’s role. Various facilitating strategies should be actively explored to improve the overall quality of team dynamics.

        코로나-19에 따른 서울시 생활인구 변화와 동별 반응 차이 분석

        New infectious diseases have broken out repeatedly across the world over the last 20 years; COVID-19 is causing drastic changes and damage to daily lives. Furthermore, as there is no denying that new epidemics will appear in the future, there is a continuous need to develop measures aimed towards responding to economic damage. Against this backdrop, the living population is an important indicator that shows changes in citizens' life patterns. This study analyzes time-based and socio-environmental characteristics by detecting and classifying changes in everyday life caused by COVID-19 from the perspective of the floating population. k-shape Clustering is used to classify living population data of each of the 424 dong's in Seoul measured by the hour; then by applying intervention analysis and One-way ANOVA, each cluster's characteristics and aspects of change in the living population occurring in the aftermath of COVID-19 are scrutinized. In conclusion, this study confirms each cluster's obvious characteristics in changes of population flows before and after the confirmation of coronavirus patients and distinguishes groups that reacted sensitively to the intervention times on the basis of COVID-related incidents from those that did not. 최근 20년간 세계적으로 새로운 전염병이 반복해서 등장해왔으며 코로나-19에 들어서는 일상에까지 큰 변화와 피해를 주고 있다. 이에 더해 앞으로도 새로운 전염병의 등장을 간과할 수 없게 되면서 경제 타격에 대응하기 위한 정책 발굴이 지속적으로 요구되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 생활인구는 시민들의 생활 패턴 변화를 드러내는 중요한 지표이다. 본 논문에서는 코로나-19에 의한 일상의 변화를 유동인구 관점에서 감지 및 분류하여 시간적 및 사회환경적 특징을 분석한다. 시간 단위로 측정된 서울시 424개 행정동별 생활인구 데이터를 분류하기 위해 k-shape clustering을 사용하였고, 이후에는 각 군집에 개입분석, One-way ANOVA 등을 적용하여 코로나-19 진행 여파에 따른 군집별 특성 및 생활인구 변화 양상을 자세히 살펴보았다. 결론적으로 국내 코로나 환자 발생 전후의 인구 유출입 변동에 있어 각 군집별로 뚜렷한 특징을 확인하였으며, 코로나-19 관련 사건을 바탕으로 지정한 개입 시점에 대해서도 민감하게 반응하는 군집과 그렇지 않은 군집을 구분할 수 있었다.

        청소년 소아암 생존자의 슬픔: 상황분석

        목적 본 연구는 함께 치료를 받았던 암 환우의 죽음이라는 간헐적이나지속적으로 발생하는 사건에 노출된 청소년 소아암 생존자의 슬픔을탐색하기 위해 시도되었다. 방법 자료는 만 13-18세의 소아암 청소년 생존자 12명과 반구조화된 면접(일대일면접, 전화면접, 인터넷 채팅), 자조 집단의 참여관찰, 그리고 인터넷 개인 홈페이지나 블로그에 올려 있는 참여자들의 글을 수집하였다. 근거이론방법론 분석의 일환인 Clarke (2005)의 상황분석을 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 결과 상황분석에 의거하여 세 가지 수준의 지도를 도식화하였다. 암 환우를 잃은 슬픔에 빠진 청소년 소아암 생존자와 관련된 모든 상황적 구성요소들이 첫 번째 상황적 지도의 두 가지 버전에 의해 마련되었고,두 번째로 슬픔에 처한 청소년 소아암 생존자를 중심으로 주변 인물들의 관계 및 슬픔이 일어나는 주요 장소에 대한 사회적 세계 지도가그려졌다. 마지막으로 타인과의 관계 수준에 따른 슬픔의 표출 정도를위치 지도에 도식화하였다. 청소년 소아암 생존자의 슬픔은 어두운 잔존 기억에 대처하기 위해 내면의 자아와 의사소통하는 동시에 친구 및가족과의 상호작용 속에서 끊임없이 자신의 생각, 감정, 행동을 협상하였다. 슬픔은 특히 어머니에게 표출하지 않고자 노력하였으며, 슬픔으로 초래되는 정신적 힘듦을 피하기 위해 아무렇지 않은 듯 혼자 시간 보내거나 의식적으로 암을 앓고 있지 않은 건강한 친구와의 관계맺음을 선호하였다. 결론 청소년 소아암 생존자의 슬픔은 다양한 상황적 맥락에 연루된 사회 환경적 요소들에 따라 숨겨지거나 표출되었다. 상황분석은 이러한요소들 간의 관계를 시각적으로 정렬하며 비교, 분석하는 데 있어서유용하였다.

        남자 중학생의 다이어트 경험

        Purpose: Little is known about the dieting experiences of obese adolescent boys, as the majority of studies on obesity in children and adolescents have included only girls. This qualitative study was designed to explore the ways in which male middle school boys attach subjective meanings to their obese bodies, and experience dieting practices in their everyday lives. Methods: Fifteen obese boys aged 14 to 16 were interviewed via in-depth, face-to-face interviews. All interview data were audiotaped, transcribed, and analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: Having a large build and increased strength that prevented bullying by peers had positive meanings participants attributed to their obese bodies. However, negative meanings existed as well, including feeling heavy and having no physical endurance, having a clammy and odorous body, and being bullied and vulnerable to disease. With respect to dieting experiences, multiple positive and negative subthemes were identified. Conclusion: The findings of this study show the intersection between adolescence and everyday life challenges for obese middle school boys in the Korean culture. Further, recommendations for healthcare professionals include a gender-specific approaches when intervening and planning programs for obese adolescents.

        간호대학생의 온라인실습 교육을 통한 성찰 경험

        Purpose: This study explored the reflective experiences of nursing students through online clinical nursing practicum education. Its specific aims were to identify the reflection experiences that these students subjectively perceive as alternative learning for their clinical practicum because of COVID-19 situations and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of these reflective experiences. Methods: In-depth interviews were conducted face-to-face or by phone with 18 fourth-year nursing students from June to October 2021. Data were analyzed using a thematic analysis. Results: The following five themes were identified: (1) looking back and rethinking, (2) applying memories to prepare for the future practicum, (3) requiring efforts to seek and consider real knowledge, (4) using benefits from emotional relaxation and repetition, and (5) limitations of habitual writing without deep thinking. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest the need for the development of an online practical education that vividly reflects the diverse and practical clinical world, which enables the acquisition of new knowledge and changes while actively receiving support, if possible, in the difficult reflection process experienced by nursing students through a mutual communication method involving faculty and students.

        정신질환자의 억제 경험: 현상학적 연구

        Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the meanings of Korean patients` experiences of being restrained in psychiatric wards. Methods: Data were collected through in-depth individual interviews (N=6) and analyzed based on Merleau-Ponty`s phenomenology. Results: Four bodily themes of being restrained were evident: wounded body after being shocked, dented body with scarred dignity, powerless body, and reflexive body dealing with the chaotic mind. Meaning dimensions such as time, space, language, emotions, and perception were also applied and explained by the bodily themes. Conclusion: Psychiatric patients` bodies, under physical restraint, were not silent and simply belonging to the situation, rather were embodied as a part of their existential worlds. Based on the findings of this study, nurses can better hear and understand the bodily voices of being restrained when caring for patients in mental health settings.
