Withe a research on Jesus' counseling princilpes and Techniques illustrated in the Bible, the study aims to take a note of how the sychologically and emotionally troubled souls who came to Jesus were reveved and turned to be the ones leading and abundant life and to find ways how we can apply his counseling in our sityations properly. For the purpose, the stydy admits that some understanding of Jesus, the counselor, is necessary and thus it specifically mentions of him who is the very person called as Christ, Son of Man. Son of God and the Lord. He has the divine nature as well as human nature. Also he assumes 3 roles of the prophetic office, the priestly office and the kingly office at the same time. He had a thorough understanding of men. He considered men as the creatures. relational beings, psychological beings, suffering beings, desiring beings,acting beings and obscure beings, He was fully aware of the sorrow and the agony of men, while being able to cure them for the whole men through his counseling. The aim of his counseling was 'the salcation of the soul' and 'abundant life' for which he devoted all his energies. Further the process of his counselling would start from the ice-breaking between the counselor and the counselee and proceed to the stages of listening, grasping the whole pictures and solving the problems. The New Testament enumerates the various counseling words of his. The Counselor excels in solving their problems by using words which can be noted sometimes as the language that encourages and accept and sometimes they command and rebuke. They proclaim that the problems are solved. Sometimes they are day-to-day words easy to understand. In his counseling, Jesus used his own unique and various methods by whicg he often looked into the people's heart appropriately depending who the other party was and what the situations were, dealt with the essence of things and let the people have their new attitude in life. His counseling was characterized by the work of Holy Spirit and love. It was the rea ization of God's love It was a wise counseling through which the people telling him the problems they had they came to know themselves and could find the key to their problems for themselves. There a re numerous cases of Jesus' counseling in the Scripture, but the study deals with only five respective cases involving Nicodemus, a Samaritan woman, Zacchaeus, an adulteress and Peter, In his meeting with these individuals, He resolved their problems through carious ways. But there was one clear fant, which is that Jesus was able to grasp the situations precisely. Thanks to his ability, the individuals' lives changed, ultimately leading them to receive 'the salvation of soul' and 'abundant life' which was the objective of his counseling In short, Jesus' counseling was, as illustrated above, a perfect one. He was the perfent counselor, His counseling was really a great one with a thorough psychological and mental therapy which triumphed in leading his counselees to establish balanced character, By the same token, without the good knowledge of God, we won't be able to become a counselor as truthful as Jesus has been. So we cannot help rejoicing the meeting with him which is the foremost incident and the most precious boon in our lives.
