<P> Lateral displacement of high-rise buildings typically happens due to the wind load. The control of lateral behavior is one of the very important considering points of high-rise structural design. Wind speed, pressure and flow depend on the shape of the buildings. Recently, the free form high-rise buildings are increasing. But the exact calculation of wind load by KBC-standard is very difficult because of atypical shape of high-rise building. In this paper, to find out the structural behavior of wind load on free form high-rise buildings by numerical methods, using CFD(Computational Fluid dynamics) analysis, the distribution of wind pressure acting on the rigid body are examined. And using FSI(Fluid-Structure Interaction) analysis is applied in order to figure out the structural behavior. In this way, the optimized shape for the reduction of wind load is found and derived from numerical method are compared with the shape of the actual building characteristics of behavior. So, we conclude that CFD and FSI numerical method can be applied effectively to decide the optimized shape of free form high rise building to reduce the wind load. </P>

The wind load and pressure depend on various type of buildings. The wind load is dominant in high-rise buildings. Therefore, The shape of the high-rise building is very important to determine the wind load design factor. Recently, the free form shape of high-rise buildings are increasing. But the wind load of the free form shape cannot be measured exactly by design code. In this study, using numerical analysis techniques to predict the wind force and pressure. Accordingly, The wind load reduction model is made by shape optimization process compares the shape and the actual building.

단방향 FSI 해석을 이용한 초고층 건축물의 풍하중 저감형 형상 최적화

In consideration of the aerodynamic characteristics of the wind, the shape of the building is in a very close relationship with the wind problems. We know through preceding studies that large negative pressure is generated in the corner of the side face of the building, thus modified corner is effective in reducing the wind load. Preceding studies were performed in wind tunnel test. On the other hand, we figure out the behavior characteristics of the building by the wind through the numerical analysis simulation. Study models with certain height were carried out by applying modified corner. We compare the analytical and experimental results of various modified corners model and find the most optimized shapes of corner on wind load reduction. Finally, we prove to optimize the shape of the actual building by applying 1-way FSI analysis.
흡기근 강화운동이 노력성폐활량, 최대흡기압, 가슴가동성에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of respiratory muscle strengthening exercise using a incentive spirometer on the improvement of forced vital capacity (FVC), maximal inspiratory pressure (MIP) and thoracic mobility (TM) in healthy college students. Thirty subjects were participated, and Pony FX was used to measure FVC and MIP, and flexible ruler was used to measure thoracic mobility. The measurements were implemented before the inspiratory muscle strengthening exercise with incentive spirometer and after inspiratory muscle strengthening exercise with it. FVC and MIP and MEP and chest circumference data were normally distributed in Kolmogorov-Smirnov (p>.05), and a paired t-test was employed to analyze the statistical differences of measurements between before and after exercise. There was a significant difference in FVC (p=.001), however the post -measurement was lesser than pre-measurement. And there were no significant difference in MIP (p=.195), and chest circumference (p=.781). The results shows that once inspiratory muscle strengthening exercise with incentive spirometer could not induce the increasing FVC, MIP and TM. Therefore, aerobic exercise and inspiratory muscle strengthening exercise during a certain period should be necessary to improve an aerobic capacity including with parameters of FVC, MIP and TM in healthy

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is an inflammatory bowel disease, which is a chornic gastrointestinal disorder. Zizyphus jujube (Z. jujube) has been used as a traditional medicine for treatment of inflammation. However, the regulatory effect of Z. jujube in intestinal inflammation have not been understood. The aim of this study is to investigate the protective effects of Z. jujube on dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colits. The colitis mice were induced by drinking water containing 5% DSS for 7 days. Our findings showed that Z. jujube attenuated the DSS-induced loss of body weight and shortening of colorectum and improved DAT score. Additionally, Z. jujube inhibited the interleukin (IL)-6 levels in colon tissue, which were elevated in DSS-treated group. Taken together, we provide experimental evidence that Z. jujubemight be a useful therapeutic drug for patients with UC.

Recently, the trends in the shape of tall buildings and large span spatial structures can be characterized as freeform shape. Especially, three-dimensional surface structure such as the shells and membrane structures is difficult to apply the wind load due to the complexity of the shape and the thin thickness. According to codes for wind resisting design, The structures which is difficult to calculate wind load, are allowed to perform the wind tunnel experiment or analysis methods. so, In this study, Mun-Hak stadium roof structure of the typical membrane structures was analyzed for the wind pressure characteristic against state of the damaged roof membrane caused by Hurricane Kompas and original state using CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamic).
