      • 류마티스 관절염 환자에서 황호중구 세포질 항체의 양성률과 임상적 의의

        항호중구 세포질 항체(Antineutropgil Cytoplasmic Antibody, ANCA)는 호중구의 일차 과립(primary granule) 구성 성분중의 하나인 serine proteases에 특이하게 반응하는 자가항체로서, 전신성 혈관염의 진단에 널리 사용되고 있으며 최근에는 류마티스 관절염과 전신성 홍반성 낭창을 포함한 다양한 류마티스질환에서도 나타난다고 한다. 그러나 아직까지 류마티스 관절염 환자에서 항호중구 세포질 항체의 양성률과 임상적 중요성은 잘 모른다. 이에 저자들은 류마티스 관절염 환자 385명을 대상으로 간접면역형광법을 이용하여 항호중구 세포질 항체의 양성 유무와 그 종류를 검사하고, 항호중구 세포질 항체가 양성인 류마티스 관절염 환자들과 음성인 류마티스 관절염 환자들의 임상 및 검사실 소견을 비교한 결과, p형 항호중구 세포질 항체는 1)류마티스 관절염 환자에서 질병의 활성도를 반영하는 임상 및 혈청학적 변수들과 2)류마티스 혈관염, 폐 침범 등의 관절의 증상들과 상호 연관성이 있음을 발견하였다. 따라서 p형 항호중구 세포질 항체는 류마티스 관절염 환자에서 향후 나쁜 경과를 취할 것이라고 예측할 수 있는 예후인자의 하나로서 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. We have studied the prevalence and the pattern of ANCA in 385 patients with RA, and compared clinical and laboratory data of ANCA positive RA patients with ANCA negative RA patients. The results were as follows : 1.Sera of 385 patients with RA were studied. The ratio of male to female was 1 :3.1(94men. 291 women) and mean age was 48.4(range 22∼71)years. The average duration of disease was 4.3years. 2.The ANCA were found in 23.6% of patients with RA(91/385 sera). All sera showed pANCA pattern. Comparison for sex, and duration of disease did not reveal a significant difference between the pANCA+ and the pANCA- patients(p> 0.05) 3.The Ritchie index was significantly higher in the ANCA+gorup and total count of tender and swollen joints were also higher(p>0.05). But duration of morning stiffness was not significantly different (p>0.05). 4.The extraarticular manifestations were sicca syndrome(7.3%), rheumatoid vasculitis(5.7%), and Felty's syndrome(4.7%). They were more frequent in the pANCA+ than in the pANCA- RA(30.8 versus 17.7%), although not statistically significant. But rheumatoid vasculitis and lung involvement were found more frequenctly in the pANCA +group(p>0.05). 5.The pANCA+ group exhibited significantly higher levels of serological markers(erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein) of inflammation and a higher incidence of rheumatoid factor(p<0.01). There was no correlation between titers of RF and ANCA. In conclusion, pANCA in patients with RA may be a marker for a more aggressive course of disease in respect to serological variables and extraaritcular manifestations including rheumatoidvasclitis and lung involvement.

        양방향 층밀리기 간섭계를 이용한 레이저 광선의 시준시험

        레이저 광선의 시준정도를 정확하게 측정하기 위하여 새로운 양방향 층밀리기 간섭계를 구성하였다. 한개의 쐐기판과 두개의 평면거울로 구성된 간섭계는 서로 반대방향으로 층밀리기된 두개의 간섭무늬 모양에 의햐여 시준정도를 나타낸다. 새로운 간섭계는 기존의 방법들에 비하여 분해능이 두 배로 향상되었으며 또한 간섭무늬 자체내에 시준된 경우를 나타내는 기준표시도 갖는다. 쐐기판의 $90^{\circ}$ 회전에 의한 간섭무늬 변화와 두 간섭무늬를 서로 중첩시켜 생긴 무아레 무늬 등에 의한 시준측정에 관하여 자세리 논하였으며 측정결과도 제시하였다. Improved technique for collimation testing based on bidirectional shearing interferometry is presented. It consists of a wedgc. plate and two plane mirrors. The proposed technique has its own reference mark to indicate collimation of the light beam and provides a two fold increase in sensitivity. Detailed analyses for various configurat~ons are presented, and the usef~llness for practical applications is demonstrated.

        양방향 층밀리기 간섭계를 이용한 긴 곡률반경 측정

        구면의 긴 곡률반경을 측정하기 위하여 양방향 층밀리기 간섭계를 이용하는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 시준장치의 광원을 미세이동시켜 출사광선의 곡률중심과 시험구면의 초점을 일치시키는 비시준 조명방법을 사용하였으며 양방향 층밀리기 간섭계를 사용하여 시험구면에서 출사한 광선의 시준 여부를 정확히 확인하였다. 이 방법은 렌즈의 긴 초점길이도 측정할 수 있으며 여러가지 변수에 의한 측정정확도를 자세히 분석하였다. An improved method for the measuement of very long radius of curvature by using a bidirectional shearing interferometer in a noncollimated light beam is given. This method can be used for both lenses and surfaces with positive or negative power. Detailed analyses for optical arrangements and achievable accuracy are presented.sented.

        Effects of MK-801 and Morphine on Spinal C-Fos Expression during the Development of Neuropathic Pain

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the expression of c-fos in the spinal cord during the development of allodynia, induced by peripheral nerve injury. Following tight ligation of the left L5 and L6 spinal nerves of Sprague- Dawley rat, the lumbar spinal cord was postfixed following perfusion. Frontal frozen sections of 40μm were immunostained according to the peroxidase-antiperoxidase method. The allodynic threshold was checked with 8 calibrated von Frey filaments. MK-801 (0.3mg/kg), morphine (3mg/kg) and saline (as a placebo) were administered subcutaneously 30 min before, and 24 and 48 hrs after surgery. The tactile threshold decreased below 3 g since 2 days after surgery in the saline and morphine groups, but delayed a little in the MK-801 group. In the superficial layer the number of Fos-like immunoreactive neurones (Fos-LI) peaked at 2 hours and decreased thereafter, and reached normal levels 24 hrs following operation, for all groups. In the deep layer they were biphasic, - peaking at 2 and 24 hrs - in the saline group, but were suppressed in the morphine and MK-801 groups until 7 days following operation. The above discrepancy between the number of Fos-LI and the allodynic threshold showed that central sensitizations are not critically involved in the development of nerve injury induced tactile allodynia.

        중국은행 산업의 효율성 분석

        Over the last decade, China has reformed its financial system to strengthen the competitiveness of its banking industry. China has carried out wide-ranging financial reform and restructuring since the mid-1990s. The pace of China's globalization seems to have accelerated particularly after its accession to the WTO in 2001. China's joining the WTO has to do with its considerable change of bank management and banking industry. These changes have intensified competition among banks to the extent of inducing liquidations or forced mergers of less competitive banks. In this vein, this paper analyzes the characteristics of China's financial reform and measures and comparatively analyzes the banking efficiency of China in order to examine the outcome of China's bank reform and banking competitiveness and draw up measures for overcoming weaknesses in banking efficiency. This paper uses the stochastic econometric frontier approach (SEFA) to measure banking efficiency. Data were collected from the 2006 financial reports of 15 banks in China. The following shows the outcome of China's bank reforms, evaluated by the efficiency of Chinese banks: First, The average economy of scale of banks in China measured 1.0756 shows that the efficiencies gained from economies of scale are great in China. Second, the average economy of scale among the biggest banks, of which assets are above $100 billion, is 1.0881 for China indicates that Chinese banks may improve productivity through expansion in asset size from the benefits of economies of scale. Third, Chinese banks have the relatively higher average rate of inefficiency at 28.89%. The reason why the technical efficiency of Chinese banks is relatively low stems primarily from NPLs and excessive employment at state-owned banks. Fourth, the technical efficiency examined through the groups of assets scale, shows that the most inefficient group is assets scale of $30 billion ∼ $50 billion for China. On the other hand, the most efficient groups are small banks, of which assets are less than $30 billion, for China (21.19%). In order for the most inefficient banks in China in the future, therefore, it is seemingly necessary for them either to be developed into a niche market, which is specialized in a certain area and service, by slimming down its scale.

        자동시준형 분광굴절률 측정장치

        가시광선과 근적외선에서 광학유리 및 액체의 굴절률을 정밀측정하기 위하여 Littrow 프리즘을 이용한 자동시준형 분광굴절률 측정장치를 설계, 제작하였다. 먼저 여러가지 측정변수를 변화시켜 측정정확도를 분석하였으며 rotary encoder와 position sensitive detector를 이용한 고분해능 각도측정장치와 항온장치등을 제작하였다. 마이크로 컴퓨터를 사용하여 측정자동화 하였으며 자세한 설계변수와 성능평가 결과를 제시하였다. An automatic spectrorefractometer with a Littrow spectrometer arrangement has been designed and fabricated to measure the refractive indices of solids and liquids from the visible to the near IR. The achievable accuracy is numericaly analyzed by varying the measuring parameters and the electromechanical system for measuring the prism angle with a rotary encoder and a position sensitive detector is fabricated. The performance of the instrument is discussed in detail and the results of measurements are given. given.
