J.J.Rousseau의 정치적 저술의 의도와 사명에 대한 해석

J.J. Rousseau insisted clearly that there had been consistence in the system and intention of his political wrintings for his lifetime. But after his death, there has been a lot of varieties or contradictions in interpretating his political thoughts. So E. Cassirer said, "It is the question of Rousseau that most modern philosophers has been understood wrongly." In recent times, some scholars consider J.J. Rousseau as an advocator of totalitarianism, but others find liberal elements in his political thoughts. And Some people think that J.J. Rousseau has to assume the intellectual resposibility of the extremism of France Revolution, but others argue that he has the conservative or romantic reactionary tendencies in his political thoughts. He is considered as not only an extrme individualist but also an extrme collectivist. He is now respected as a pioneer of progressive democracy, but simultaneously criticized as an advocator of cruel totalitarianism. We can consider that such varieties in understanding him resulted from the twofoldness of the key concept 'the general will' in his political thoughts. He presented 'the general will' concept to unite two important political traditions; ancient cohesiveness and modern voluntarism. So if one interpretate J.J. Rousseau's political thouthts along with only one tradition, he cannot help arguing with another who adheres to the other tradition. J.J. Rousseau's political thoughts has been considered as revolutionary, reactionary and conservative. Such varieties are derived not from the inconsistencies of his thoughts but from misunderstnading the intention and mission of his political writings , So this article places emphasis upon finding the true intension and mission of J.J. Rousseau to resters the consistency in his political thoughts . It supposes that he wrote political writings to promote inner revolt and moral reforms in monocratic states, and protect the moral and political liberty of a few republic states in Europe. And it concludes that he was not revolutionary, reactionary, and conservative. but only pessimistic.

건축학프로그램의 건축재료 교과과정과 교육방법에 대한 분석

The purpose of this study was to review the current status of pedagogical objects, contents and teaching methods for the course ofarchitectural materials conducted in 5-year professional architectural degree programs in Korea in conjunction with the comparative analysis ofrequired criteria for architectural materials as the student performance criteria between Korea and USA. To discuss on pedagogy and teachingmethods of architectural/building material courses, this research presents the analysis framework with four factors – curriculum, achievement,faculty and student, as well as criteria for comparative analysis of curriculum objectives and contents. From the holistic qualitative andquantitative analysis of the student performance criteria (SPC) by the accrediting boards, and architectural/building material courses providedby universities and programs, we aim to propose measures to improve the education methods of materials, in order to stimulate the desirabletechnological knowledge and skills in technology as well as applicability and creativity for architectural design. 본 연구의 목적은 한국의 5년제 건축학 전문교육 프로그램에서 실시되고 있는 건축재료 수업의 현황을 진단하고 개선방안을 도출하기 위해 한국과 미국의 건축학인증기준에서 제시하고 있는 건축재료 교육의 기준과 요건, 그리고 각 대학의 건축재료 교과목의 교과과정의 목적과 내용 및 교육방법을 비교 분석하는 것이다. 자료의 정리와 해석을 위해 본 연구에서는 교과과정, 성과, 교수, 학생의 4가지 인자로 구성된 분석틀을 제시하여 각 대학의 건축재료 수업 현황을 정리하여 검토하였으며, 교과과정의 목적과 내용의 분류를 위해 한국과 미국의 SPC 기준을 비교, 종합하여 기준항목을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구틀과 분류 기준을 바탕으로 한국과 미국의 건축재료 수업에 대해 정량, 정성적인 분석 및 비교연구를 실시하여, 본 연구는 기술적인 지식과 기술의 습득을 촉진하고, 건축 설계로의 적용과 창의력을 배양할 수 있는 건축재료 교육의 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Marxism에 있어서 정치권력과 사회변동의 관련성 논의

The purpose of this study, focusing on the revolutionary strategy of K.Marx, is to clarify the rarely compatibile interpretations about the relevance between the political power and social change in marxism. By doiing so, we can find out some intrinsic contradictions or anomalies in the thoughts of K.Marx. S.Avineri, who follows the humainstic and economic deterministic interpretation of K.Marx, emphasizes on the growth of objective revolutionary conditions which raises up the revolutionary consciousness. He contends that K.Marx adopted the gradual, evolutionary and nonviolent strategy for socialist revolution. But A.Gilbert, who follows the political volutarictic interpretation of K.Marx, emphasizes on the political will or choice for socialist revoution. He criticizes S.Avineri, contending that K.Marx adopted class struggle, violent revolution. Hegemony of political power, proletariat dictatorship as general strategy for revolution. While S.Avineri supposes the passivity of political power in the social change, A.Glilbert accepts the autonomy or positivity of that. We can conclude that such a controversy results from the twofoldness or ambiguity of the epistemology and methodology of K.Marx who wanted to interpret and change the world. Simultaneously His thoughts on the revolution combined two concepts which cannot be melted easily. One is that of 'historical necessity' which pertains to economic determinism and evloutionism, the other is that of 'freedom or will' which pertains to political voluntarism and catastrophism.
