"정보"에 관한 다학제적 성찰과 인문학의 가능성 -한국인의 정보 공유 문화를 분석대상으로-

디지털 기술은 생활 영역을 넘어서서 문화(文化).사고(思考)의 변화를 초래하고 있고, 이러한 지적(知的) 변화는 학문에도 변화를 일으키고 있다. 기존의 인문학적 영역으로 여겨지던 질적 분석 방법의 영역에서도 계량화된 분석 결과로 산출되며, 대부분의 학문 연구 영역에서는 다(多)학제 차원의 통합적 연구가 요구되고 있다. 이 논문은 이러한 기술적 변화와 지적 변형을 통해 나타나는 학문적 변화에 주목하며, 한국에서 사용되는 ‘정보’ 특징과 그 가능성, 그리고 인문학 본연의 역할에 대한 성찰을 시도한다. 따라서 본 연구는 정보 개념에 대한 다학제적 연구의 흐름을 파악하고, ‘객관적정보’와 ‘경험적 정보’에 해당하는 이론적 특징을 살핀다. 이 과정을 통해, ‘인문학적’이라는 학문적 성격이 가지는 특징이 한국의 정보 공유 문화에서 나타나는 정보의 성격과 비슷하다는 해석이 가능해진다. 또한 디지털 정보공유 환경에서 나타나는 감정과 정서가 드러나는 한국적 의사 소통 문화의 특징과 경험적이며 직관적인 한국적 디지털 정보의 성격은 서구의 것과는 구별된다는 것을 밝힌다. 이러한 한국적 특유의 정보 생산 공유 방식과 정보의 성격, 그리고 이를 형성하게 되는 문화.역사적 요인이 서구의 것과는 상이(相異)하며, 따라서 정보화 정책 과정에서도 한국의 고유한 정보의 특성이 반영된 정책이 필요하다는 점을 지적한다. 방법론적으로는, 과학적이고 실증적인 선행 연구의 결과를 분석함과 동시에, 인문학적인 텍스트 중심의 해석 방법을 시도하였다. 이를 통해서 ‘정보’ 개념을 찾아가며,, 현재의 한국 정보문화 정책의 문제점을 인문학적 관점에서 조명하고자 하였다. 이러한 다각적인 접근을 통한 대상에 대한 이해는 대상의 특징을 확인하는 중요한 과정으로 작용되었고, 과학적 연구방법과 인문학적 연구방법의 상호 보완적역할의 필요성을 재확인하게 하였다. 또한 이는 서구의 관점에 의해 부여된 평가가 아닌, 한국 고유의 특징이 반영된 정보화 정책에 대한 새로운 방향성을 제안하게 한다. Digital technology has drastically transformed human culture and thought over our daily lives, and these intellectual changes have modified the shape of our intellectual studies. It has quantified qualitative research fields which have historically been considered humanities territory, and driven them more towards synthetic research in the multidisciplinary perspective. This paper focuses on the phenomenon of technical and intellectual changes, and attempts to relate them back to the original role of Humanities. Therefore, this thesis documents and defines the flow of the multidisciplinary studies related information, and characterizes the theories regarding ‘objective information’ and ‘experiential information.’ The notable finding of this study through the described process are as follows: First, through the described process, this research shows that the characteristics of Korean Information is similar with the characteristics of Humanities theory. Moreover, the emotional Korean Information which is transmitted and exchanged in the digital environment is fundamentally different from western collective intellectual information. Therefore, this paper insists that the current Korean Information policy requires to deliberate on the characteristics of Korean Information. This study is based on the empirical preceding researches, and analyses cultural text as a methodology; thus, it pursues to find out the concept of information with insight for current Korean matters from a humanities perspective. The multi-perspective understanding about the objectives can be used as an approach to figure out the nature of things, and it reconfirms the necessity of mutual cooperation between scientific research and the humanities methods which are introduced by this work. Furthermore, it will cause us to think critically and reevaluate current Korean information policies in the new digital technology age, apart from policies used in other parts of the world.
