        폴리에스테르 직물의 역학특성에 관한 연구(II)-전단 특성의 비선형성-

        The shear behavior of fabrics is an important characteristic in fabrics whose end-use is for apparel purpose. The shear properties of the fabrics influence the draping, pliabiltiy and hand of fabrics. Moreover, the shearing behaviors of fabric have been applied in designing air ship, space suit and inflatable shelters. Therefore shear behavior plays very important role among the various mechanical properties of fabrics. The purpose of this paper is to analyze shear properties of polyester fabric in association with such fabric structural parameters as twist level, fineness, fabric density. Weave structure and processing factors. So far, correlation between shear properties and fabrics structural parameters and processing shrinkage with weave structure is examined. What is more. non-linear correlation between shear properties and fabric structural parameters is analyzed. Finally the regression analysis between processing shrinkage and shear properties and fabric structural parameters is carried on.

        Behavior of Water Vapor Permeability on Layered System

        This study investigates the behavior of water vapor permeability of a layered system to find out a comfortable combination of a layered system for outdoor activities and examines the water vapor permeability of various types of outdoor clothing fabrics. The layered system includes the base layer such as sportswool and polyester/cotton fabrics, the middle layer such as single and double sided fleece fabrics, and the shell layer such as polyurethane-coated, PTFE-laminated and microfiber fabrics in this experiment. Results show that the layered system was applied, it was working together as a whole having some influence on each other layer, though every layer offered varying degree of water vapor permeability. Water vapor permeability of layered system exactly followed the same trend as the shell layer, which is all vapor permeable water repellent fabrics as a single layer. The rate of water vapor transfer through a layered system is mainly related to the type of vapor permeable water repellent fabrics used for the shell layer.

        Adhesions are one of the most complications of surgery, and the leading cause of infertility, chronical pain and potentially intestinal obstruction. As the frequency of operation increases, prevention of adhesion formation has become a task to overcome in surgical research. A number of adjuvant have been investigated, including both pharmaceutical agents and physical barriers for adhesion prevention. Pharmaceutical agents and adhesion barrier have reduced adhesion formation in clinical practices to certain degrees, however, complete prevention of adhesions has yet to be overcome. In this review, the anti-adhesion agents were categorized into their uses and described of the properties of products commercially available. The purpose of this article is to review the current state of adhesion development and the effects of adhesion agents in prevention of adhesions.

        Hand characteristics of New Synthetic Fiber Fabrics have something to do with mechanical properties of fabric. But the maximum tensile load according to various kinds of fabrics must be oaken into consideration by use of KES-FB system. which measures hailed characteristics and mechanical properties of fabric. This paper surveys tensile deformation region which has an effect on the hand of polyester fabric as basic study on hand characteristic of Uew Synthetic Fiber Fabrics. And relationship between tensile characteristics of polyester fabric and structural parameters of yarn and fabric is analyzed. So this study carries on the relationship between the mechanical properties of polyester fabric and fabric structural parameters such as fineness, twist level. fabric density and weave structure. The other objectives in this work are to investigate the effects of the region of the tensile deformation according to the weave structure related to an effect of the fabric structural parameters on the tensile properties of polyester fabric as a basic study on the hand characteristics of New Synthetic Fiber Fabrics.

        The compressional property among fabric mechanical properties is of critical importance because it determines the practical quality and performance characteristics of textile materials and clothing. e.g. fabric hand and drape. fabric formability and shape formation in the appearance and shape retention of the clothing. In general the fabric compression behavior is influenced the weave structure, the number of yarn twist, the yarn linear density. the fabric density and the various processing parameters. In this study the effects of polyester fabric structural parameters, such as yarn linear density. yarn twist, fabric density. weave structure and the processing shrinkage on the compressional behavior of the fabrics have been investigated as a basic study on the hand characteristics on Hew Synthetic Fibre Fabrics.

        The processing shrinkage has a direct influence on the mechanical properties and the physical properties of fabric. This paper surveys correlation between the mechanical properties and the processing shrinkage of polyester plain woven fabric and a basic study on hand characteristic of New Synthetic Fabrics. The effects of fabric structural parameters on the processing shrinkage. The effects of processing shrinkage and the fabric structural parameters on the mechanical properties and non-linearity analysis between the fabric structural parameters and the mechanical properties were analyzed. This study has been carried out the mechanical properties on polyester fabric in connection with such fabric structural parameters as the fabric warp density, the fabric weft density. the number of weft twist, and the linear density of yarn.

        섬유 혼합비와 꼬임 구조가 방적사의 굽힘 특성에 미치는 영향(I)-단사의 굽힘 특성-

        The bending properties of the single yarns, such as the bending rigidity, the coercive couple, the hysteresis energy, and the residual curvature, are related with their constituent fibre diameters as well as the surface helix angle antral the linear density. The estimated and the experimental values of these properties are compared by varying the blend ratio of wool/polyester fibres. The validity of the specific bending rigidity was ascertained by adopting the value, which the experimental bending rigidity of the single yarn is divided by experimental yarn linear density. The bending rigidity of single blend yarns depends on the number of yam twist, the linear density and the blend ratio. The specific bending rigidity was decreased with increasing the number of yarn twist and blend ratio of polyester fibre. The coercive couple and the residual curvature, relating to intra-fibre friction in the yarn, were increased with blend ratio of polyester fibre. The coercive couple and the residual curvature of 100% polyester staple yarn were increased with the twist angle, and the maximum of these values were found to be increased as the blend ratios of wool/polyester fibres were increased.

        Water Vapor Transfer of Outdoor Clothing System

        Water vapor transfer through a fabric, and subsequently a layered clothing system, directly affects the human body’s thermal comfort. Clothing systems are essentially a way of layering clothes together to ensure comfort during outdoor activities. The aim of this study was to investigate the behavior of a clothing system’s water vapor transfer to determine a comfortable clothing system combination for outdoor activities. A water vapor transfer rate (WVTR) of 12 three-layer combinations of 100% wool and Coolmax fabrics as the base layer, two polyester fleece fabrics as the mid layer, and three waterproof breathable fabrics as the outer layer was tested. Our results show that when the clothing system was applied, it worked together as a whole with the layers having some noticeable influence on each other; it should be noted that every layer offered varying WVTR degrees. The WVTR of a clothing system is mainly related to the type of waterproof, breathable fabrics used for the outer layer. Therefore, a comparison of the WVTR of the outer layer to the clothing system shows that the exact same trend is followed. The WVTR of the clothing systems is significantly correlated with fabric treatments such as finishes, coatings, and film membranes that are added to the outer layer fabrics.
