        The purpose of this paper is to get the deta for improving the soccer skill and tactics. All shots both in the 10 matches of the second final round in the 11th Argentina FIFA World Cup and in same number of the second final round in the 12th Spain World Cup, were analyzed with five factors. The following conclusions were made: The average goal percentage of shot in the 12th World is higher than that of shot in the 11th, especially the 12th Spain World Cup is very higher than the 11th Argentina World Cup in scoring the goal by shooting within the goal area. In the 12th World Cup, 37 percent of the shots were performed by pass assistance and 28 percent by single dribbling. While 30 percent were shot respestively by pass assistance and single dribbling. The 12th World Cup is higher than the 11th by about seven percent in the rate of successful shots resulting from centering and free kicks. Fifty-six percent of the total shots are performed with non-stop and there is no significant difference between the 12th and 11th. And the 12th World Cup is less than the 11th in spin shooting by four percent. The offensive tried to make a good chance to score a goal by fast breaks before the opponent arranged defensive wall near the penalty box.

        William Faulkner is one of the traditional southerners whose family threw its fate With the the fate of the south in America. As Faulkner saying in his work(Absalom! Absalom!), "none but the man from the south is able to appreciate what the peculiarity of the south is, he, as a man from the south, is believed that he seems to know the southern environment better than other writers, and he chooses an area of the south called "Yoknapatawpha county" his own made as the geographical back ground in his literally world. We can hear Faulkner's own voice about the south through "Light in August" that allows him to pull off the tremendous feat of making us believe in a character (Joe Christman) who in many ways is not a human being at all, but struggling to become a real man. Joe Christmas is an incarnation not only of the race problem in America, but of the condition of man. Joe Christmas lives life that is only solitary but detached, and he lives is society physically, but actually he is concerned only with the process of self-discovering, or of self-naming, even of self-legalization. Here, I tried to find out the southern impression in two ways: (1) through the sacrifice and sufferings of Joe Christmas, tabula rasa, as an abstraction created by the racist mania of his grandfather whose tormented life is spent insisting that Negroes are guilty in the eyes of God and they must serve white man, and thlking always about predestination and depravity. (2) though other characters (Joanna Burden, Calvin McEachern, Percy Grimm, Gail Hightower) in "Iight in August" who are obsessed by the past called "the player" because of the maliciousness, the spirit of pure bad luck in the changing process of the south.

        The purpose of this stuffy lies in providing the basic materials for wrestlers' control of health and physical strength, the preventive measure for injury during a practice or a game and the scientific training method for upgrading competitive power in a game. The result of analyzing the occurring tendency and therapeutical' actions and attitude of sports injury, taking the 258 wrestlers from a high school, an university and pro-team as the object of study through a questioning sheet are like following. 1. Among every wrestler's causes of injury, the main cause was a physical collision occupying 50%, and an excessive training occupied 30%. On the contrary, the unsatisfied wrestler's cause of injury was a shortage of mental concentration and a burden of weight, occupying each 19% and 17%. Therefore in order to prevent the injury, you should take care of especially in time of physical collision in a practice or a game and prevent an excessive training. 2. The seasion with the most frequent occurrence of injury is the winter(78%), and in the spring and summer(5.5%), the frequency of occurrence of injury is very low. In the meantime, considering by occuring time, during a practice(95%) the injury occurs most frequently and during a game(5%) occurs least frequently. Therefore, in order to reduce the injury, you should warm up sufficiently before the training and the practice and concentrate all of you attention and mind, 3. The injury occurs most highly in the afternoon hours occupying about 80%, and a little in the dawn and morning hours but in the contrary rarely in the night. 4. As the wrestler's injury type, the injury on muscles and tendons occupies the most to take 65% of the whole injuriesbut the greater the scale of exercise volume of used techniclue is, the more the injury occurs, and the injuries over 70 occur in using the waist technique and the whole-body technique. 5. While as only 42% of injured persons started treatment after the occurrence of injury, 58% started to receive treatment after a considerable time passed since the occurrence of injury. 6. 58% of the injured persons received treatment within 2weeks but 42% received treatment after over 3weeks to influence on the lowering of competitive power in game a lot. The perfect cure after treatment was very low showing 13% and most had an effect of treatment but were not perfectly cured. Especially 7% of the injured patients had their injury worse. 7. As an adviser when being injured, an associate was 45% to take the most, and the family was 13% and the coach and the supervisor were only 8%, Especially, 30% had no adviser to consult with and tried to solve by and for himself, which created a problem.

        Exploration and functional expression of homologous lipases of Candida antarctica lipase B

        Candida (Pseudozyma로도 알려짐) antarctica lipase B(CAL-B)는 학문적으로 그리고 산업적으로 많이 활용되고 있다. CAL-B 자체에 대한 연구는 많이 진행되어온 반면, CAL-B 상동체에 관한 연구는 그리 알려진 바가 없다. 본 연구에서는 단백질 유사성 검색을 통해서 CAL-B의 상동체 탐색을 수행하였고, 6종의 단백질 서열을 찾았다. 해당하는 유전자들을 대장균에 대한 코돈 최적화를 수행하였고, 이를 바탕으로 유전자 합성을 진행하였다. 이들 유전자를 대장균 발현용 벡터에 클로닝한 후, 대장균 내에서 단백질 발현을 시도하여 이들 중 4종의 단백질이 성공적으로 발현되었다. 이들 단백질들이 가수분해 효소로서의 활성이 있는지 확인하기 위해서, 4-nitrophenyl acetate와 4-nitrophenyl butyrate를 반응기질로 하여 가수분해 반응성을 확인하였다. 이들 단백질들의 비활성(specific activity)값은 $(1.3-30){\times}10^{-2}{\mu}mol/min/mg$로 측정되었고, 이는 CAL-B의 비활성 수치보다는 다소 낮은 값에 해당하였다. (${\pm}$)-1-phenylethyl acetate의 가수분해 반응에 대한 입체선택성은 이들 상동체 효소들 중에서 Pseudozyma hubeiensis SY62에서 유래된 효소만이 CAL-B의 입체선택성과 유사함이 확인되었다. Candida (also known as Pseudozyma) antarctica lipase B (CAL-B) has been intensely studied in academic and industrial fields. However, the research related to its homologous enzymes has been rarely reported. In the current investigation, protein sequence similarity search of CAL-B has been conducted and six homologous protein sequences were identified. After the syntheses of their codon-optimized genes, the synthetic genes have been cloned into a periplasmic expression vector to express in Escherichia coli. Among six homologous sequences, four sequences were successfully expressed in E. coli. The hydrolytic activities of the expressed proteins towards 4-nitrophenyl acetate and 4-nitrophenyl butyrate were measured and compared with those of CAL-B to identify whether the expressed proteins work as a hydrolase. It has been revealed that the expressed proteins can hydrolyze the substrates and the specific activities were determined as $(1.3-30){\times}10^{-2}{\mu}mol/min/mg$, which are lower than those of CAL-B. Among these homologous enzymes, Pseudozyma hubeiensis SY62 exhibits the comparable enantioselectivity to that of CAL-B towards the hydrolysis of (${\pm}$)-1-phenylethyl acetate.

        How could james joyce bring forth the art like “Ulysses”in Irland where they had beleived in traditional, stern Jesuitic Catholicism? In this view point, to unvail the secret I would like to attach importance to “A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man”as Joyce`s spiritual record: his spiritual biography, and through which I intended to written an essay on the above title. Introspective, extremely sensitive young Joyce could not be assimilated with the rigorous inhuman religious education or piety that he had observed, heard and Iearned because of some instinct stronger than anything else within him. He ever felt himself he was a starnger and a exile, and yet he could not take a flight from the reality held by the fear and doubt upon the religion Iike hell. But it was the vision of his as a great artificer that brought him to his awakening to not the dull despair, and inhuman reality that had called him to the pale service of the alter, but the call of the life to his soul. He did not fear to leave whatever he had to leave, and he was not afraid to make a lifelong mistake. The language by which, he said, he would create is own art using “Silence, exile, and cunning”.

      • 노랑초파리의 난자형성에 따른 난실 내의 단백질 합성에 대한 자기방사적 연구

        노랑초파리의 난실에서의 단백질 합성을 난자형성과정의 단계별로 자기방사법을 이용하여 관찰하였다 단백질은 영양세포에서 난자형성 초기에 미약한 정도로 함성되는 것으로 나타나지만, 가장 활발하게 합성되는 세포는 여포세포이다. 난모세포와 영양세포에서는 단백질이 거의 합성되지 않고 있다. 여포세포에서 합성된 단백질은 Stage 10 이후의 단계에서만 난모세포로 이동하는 것으로 관찰되었다 난모세포에 괸만하게 분포된 은입자는 난자 형성을 위한 다양한 목적을 위해 여포세포로 부터 이입된 단백질로 짐작된다. 특히 난황립의 형성에 여포세포의 단백질이 최소한도 부분적으로 관여한다는 사실을 알 수 있었다.

Protein synthesis in the egg chamber of Drosophila melanogaster was studied by autoradiopraphic techniques. Proteins are most actively synthesized in the follicle cells throughout the whole process of oogenesis, while silver grains could hardly be detected in oocytes and nurse cells, even though a few grains were seen in the nurse cells at the ealy stages. Proteins synthesized in the follicle cells are transported specifically at stages later than stage 10. These proteins semm to contrivute to the various activities during oogenesis and particularly to the formation of yolk granules and protective membranes like vitelline membrane and chorion.
