김정석. 6주 분할운동이 노화된 흰쥐 골격근 내 자식작용과 근육형성조절인자의 발현에 미치는 영향. 운동과학, 제23권 제1호, 49-58, 2014. 6주 분할 운동(3×10 min/day, 5 day/week, 6 weeks)이 노화 쥐의 골격근 내 Atg5, Beclin-1, LC3-Ⅱ, AMPK, FoxO1, mTOR, MyoD, Myogenin 단백질의 발현에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 연구의 목적이 있으며, 골격근 내 단백질 발현은 Western blotting 방법을 통해 분석하였다. Atg5와 Beclin-1 단백질의 발현의 경우 운동으로 인한 노화 쥐의 골격근에서 유의하게 증가한 반면, LC3-Ⅱ 단백질 발현의 경우, 상반된 결과가 나타났다. AMPK와 FoxO1 단백질 발현의 경우 운동 후 높게 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, mTOR 단백질 발현의 경우, 상반된 결과가 나타났다. 또한, MyoD와 Myogenin 단백질 발현의 경우 운동 후 높게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 분할운동이 노화된 쥐의 골격근 내 자식작용과 근육형성조절인자의 발현에 영향을 미쳐 노화로 인한 근 세포 손상에 위축된 골격근 내 항상성 유지와 회복에 관여한 것으로 생각된다. The aim of this study was to investigate effect of 6-week multiple short-duration exercise training on the expression of autophagic markers and myogenesis regulatory factors in skeletal muscle of Sprague-Dawley aged rats during intensive endurance exercise(16 m/min, 5°, 3×10 min/day, 5 day/week, 6 weeks). The expression of Atg5, Beclin-1, LC3-Ⅱ, AMPK, FoxO1, mTOR, MyoD, Myogenin proteins in skeletal muscle was analyzed by Western blotting. The expression of Atg5 and Beclin-1 proteins was significantly increased due to the multiple short-duration exercise in the aged rats. LC3-Ⅱ protein, however, was not significantly decreased in the exercise group. AMPK and FoxO1 proteins were significantly increased in the exercise group. In contrast, mTOR protein was not significantly decreased in the exercise group. In addition, MyoD and Myogenin proteins were significantly increased in the exercise group. These findings suggest that the expression of the autophagic markers and myogenesis regulatory factors plays a role in the maintenance of homeostasis in aging skeletal muscle during multiple short-duration exercise training.

The correlation of the isotopic composition of uranium, plutonium, neodymium, and cesiumwith the burnup for high burnup pressurized water reactor fuels irradiated in nuclearpower reactors has been experimentally investigated. The total burnup was determined byNd-148 and the fractional 235U burnup was determined by U and Pu mass spectrometricmethods. The isotopic compositions of U, Pu, Nd, and Cs after their separation from theirradiated fuel samples were measured using thermal ionization mass spectrometry. Thecontents of these elements in the irradiated fuel were determined through an isotopedilution mass spectrometric method using 233U, 242Pu, 150Nd, and 133Cs as spikes. The activityratios of Cs isotopes in the fuel samples were determined using gamma-ray spectrometry. The content of each element and its isotopic compositions in the irradiated fuelwere expressed by their correlation with the total and fractional burnup, burnup parameters,and the isotopic compositions of different elements. The results obtained from theexperimental methods were compared with those calculated using the ORIGEN-S code.
