        전북지역의 발레 도입 및 변천과정 연구

        본 연구는 전북지역 발레교육의 양태 및 활동 양상을 고찰하였다. 연구결과 전북지역에서는 1945년 김미화무용연구소가 개설되어 발레가 도입되었으며 1949년 성심여학교에서 외국무용교육이 이루어졌고 특히 발레의 경우 활발하게 교육해왔던 것으로 고찰되었다. 1980년 원광대학교를 필두로 1988년 전북대학교 그리고 1989년 우석대학교 무용과가 개설 되어 대학에서의 발레교육이 이루어졌다. 대학발레단 활동은 원광대 백의선 발레단, 전북대 손윤숙 발레단 및 동문발레단인 발레라인즈 그리고 우석대 손정자 발레단이 1986년부터의 활동으로 발레공연이 활성화되었으나 현재에 이르러는 전북대 중심의 발레단만이 활동함이 드러났다. 대학 교육에 있어도 원광대는 무용교육과정이 없고 우석대학교의 경우 체육학과에서 무용교육과정 만이 교육되고 있으며 전북대학교만이 발레교육의 명맥을 유지함이 보였다. The purpose of this study is to look at the history and activities of ballet education in Jeonbuk province, south korea. As a result of the study, it was realized that in Jeonbuk province, Ballet was introduced with the opening of the Kim-Mi Wha Dance Research Institute in 1945 and then a serious of foreign dance education had been conducted in Sungshim girl high school and In particular, ballet education had been most actively carried out. After that, Wonkwang University in 1980, Jeonbuk National University in 1988, and then Woosuk University in 1989, the Department of Dance was opened, and ballet education began in earnest at the university. In case of performance of ballet in regional universities, from 1986 Baek Ui Sun ballet company in Wonkwang University, Son Yun Shook ballet company and Ballerines consisting of university alumni in Jeonbuk University and Son Jeong Jag ballet company in Woosuk University had been actively performed but only the Jeonbuk National University-centered ballet companies are in activity these days. In the university curriculum, Wonkwang University did not have a dance curriculum anymore, and in the case of Woosuk University, only the dance curriculum has been taught in the physical education department, and only Jeonbuk National University has maintained the legacy of ballet education.

        알파1-교감신경길항제가 수정체유화술에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: To evaluate the influence of α1-adrenergic blocker on phacoemulsification and the preventive effect of adrenergic blocker (AB) cessation before cataract surgery. Methods: A prospective study was performed involving 92 eyes of 60 patients undergoing cataract surgery. Cases were divided into three groups: the use of α1AB with discontinuance before surgery (32 eyes), the use of α1AB with no discontinuance before surgery before surgery (31 eyes), and eyes not treated with α1AB (29 eyes). Clinical measurements and intraoperative parameters were compared among the three groups. Results: Preoperative maximum pupil diameters of patients treated with α1AB were smaller than those of patients not administered α1AB (p = 0.027 and p = 0.018, respectively). The incidence of IFIS in the patients using of α1AB with discontinuance before surgery was 6.25%, and that in the patients using of α1AB with no discontinuance before surgery was 6.45%. There was no IFIS outbreak in the patients not using of α1AB. We noted no significant differences in absolute phaco time during phacoemulsification (p = 0.207) or in the three-month postoperative best corrected visual acuities among the three groups (p = 0.189). Conclusions: Importantly, there appears to be a significant correlation between α1AB and the development of IFIS. To prevent complications of IFIS, surgeons should be vigilant in identifying patients taking α1AB, checking the degree of preoperative pupil dilatation and anticipating intraoperative difficulties. In addition, appropriate modifications should be made to the surgical strategy. Furthermore there was no benefit to discontinuing α1AB treatment before cataract surgery in the prevention of IFIS.         Maximal Clique Problem을 해결하기 위한 DNA 코딩 방법을 적용한 DNA 컴퓨팅

        MCP(Maximal Clique Problem)를 해결하기 위해 DNA 컴퓨팅이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 현재의 DNA 컴퓨팅을 MCP에 적용하였을 때, 정점과 간선을 효율적으로 표현할 수 없으며 제한 효소의 잘못된 사용으로 인하여 해를 찾을 수 없는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MCP의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 DNA 컴퓨팅 기법에 DNA 코딩 방법을 적용한 ACO(Algorithm for Code Optimization)를 제안한다. 우리는 ACO를 MCP에 적용하였고, 그 결과 ACO는 Adleman의 DNA 컴퓨팅 알고리즘 보다 가변길이의 DNA 코드를 표현할 수 있으며, 불필요한 정점을 제거한 코드를 생성할 수 있었다. 또한 ACO는 Adleman의 DNA 컴퓨팅 알고리즘 보다 탐색 시간과 생물학적 오류율을 15% 정도 줄임으로써 4배 정도 많은 최종해를 얻을 수 있었다. DNA computing has used to solve MCP (Maximal Clique Problem). However, when current DNA computing is applied to MCP. it can't efficiently express vertices and edges and it has a problem that can't look for solutions, by misusing wrong restriction enzyme. In this paper we proposed ACO (Algorithm for Code Optimization) that applies DNA coding method to DNA computing to solve MCP's problem. We applied ACO to MCP and as a result ACO could express DNA codes of variable lengths and generate codes without unnecessary vertices than Adleman's DNA computing algorithm could. In addition, compared to Adleman's DNA computing algorithm, ACO could get about four times as many as Adleman's final solutions by reducing search time and biological error rate by 15%.

        속경화 , 저비중 SMC 제조에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 속경화 SMC와 저비중 SMC를 제조하기 위한 경화시스템과 배합시스템을 연구하였다. 속경화 SMC를 제조하기 위한 경화시스템으로는 혼합개시제를 사용한 시스템과 촉진제를 사용한 시스템으로 나누어 실험하였고, 저비중용 SMC는 glass micro-baloon(GMB)을 충진제로 사용하여 실험하였다. 본실험에서는 두시스템으로 제조된 시편으로 경화 거동, 기계적 성질, 물리적 성질 등을 측정하였다. 속경화용 SMC 시편의 경우는 혼합개시제의 양 및 촉진제의 양이 증가할수록 경화 속도는 증가하였으나 SMC 성형 시편의 물성은 큰 변화를 보이지 않았다. 저비중용 SMC에서는 GMB의 양이 증가함에 따라 비중이 감소하였으며, 물성치에서도 약간의 감소를 보였다. In this research, we studied curing and filler systems for preparation of fast cure SMC and low-density SMC, respectivly. Two curing systems were evaluated for fast cure SMC formulation. One is a mixed initiator system and the other is an activator system. For low-density SMC, glass micro-baloon(GMB) was used as a filler. Various SMC formulations were cured in an appropriate way, and their curing behavior and physical/mechanical properties were characterized. Curing rates were increased with increasing quantity of mixed initiator and activator, but mechanical properties were not affected. As the quantities of GMB increased, density and mechanical properties were decreased.

        The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of romanticism which is expressed in the latest trend and to explain them focused on anti-realistic yearning. As the method of the study, a literature review was conducted. Romanticism started from a complaint against reality and denied the previous era's philosophy and aesthetics. Romanticism placed much value on emotions and imagination. Also, the characteristics of romanticism art contains the yearning for nature, far culture, far past and supernatural world, by escaping from the complex reality which gives disillusionment. Such the characteristic can be easily found in the modern trend. Modern people, who live in the situation that the society is changed into the information society from the industrial society, have clung to the past things because they feel that the known and guaranteed world is finished. And they want to experience the new and various culture and nature escaping from insecurity on complicated reality. Also, the desire of modern people who want to escape from a daily routine world and the reality's limitations is expressed as the yearning for the supernatural world.

        안와 고립성 섬유종

        Purpose: A Solitary fibrous tumor is a rare orbital neoplasm derived from mesenchymal cells. The neoplasm should be considered in differential diagnosis of any orbital tumor, and immunohistochemial analysis is important for correct diagnosis. The authors herein describe a case of a solitary fibrous tumor in addition to the findings of a literature review. Solitary fibrous tumors can develop from not only the lacrimal gland, but also orbital soft tissue. Until now, there has been no report of a solitary fibrous tumor arising from orbital soft tissue in Korea. Case summary: A 50-year-old man visited our clinic due to a slow progressing mass on the lateral side of the left eye for 1 year. The patient did not suffer from any discomfort or discharge from the mass. Slit lamp and other ocular examinations were unremarkable. Orbital MRI revealed a solid extra-conal enhanced mass that measured 13x11 mm adhering to the lateral wall of the left orbit. Total surgical excision was Performed under local anesthesia and tumor cells showed a strong and diffuse positivity for CD34 by immunohistochemistry. The findings were consistent with the diagnosis of orbital solitary tumor. Conclusions: The orbital solitary tumor is rare, but it should be considered in the differential diagnosis of any orbital tumor. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2010;51(6):881-884

        Factors Affecting the Breastfeeding of Late Preterm Infants after Discharge from a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in South Korea

        Purpose: This study aims to determine the factors that affect the breastfeeding of late preterm infants (gestation age 34<sup>+0</sup>~36<sup>+6</sup>) in South Korea. Method: A cross-sectional and questionnaire-based survey was conducted on 178 mothers of 209 late preterm infants discharged from a university hospital. We collected data on participants' demographics, breastfeeding-related characteristics and current status of breastfeeding and analyzed them using SPSS. Results: Breastfeeding duration varied significantly according to the number of babies born (t=3.691, p<.001), birth order (F=6.416, p=.002), type of feeding planned (F=8.691, p<.001), planned breastfeeding period(F=24.779, p<.001), previous baby's breastfeeding type(F= 8.510, p<.001), previous baby's breastfeeding duration(F=10.589, p<.001). The mothers with incomes of 3-5 million won a month were less likely to continue breastfeeding than those with incomes over 5 million won (CI: 0.049-0.086: p=0.035). Conclusion: Our results are meaningful in that we revealed that mother's monthly income influenced breastfeeding continuation, first-time mothers and mothers of multiples were at risk of breastfeeding difficulties. Interventions for helping late preterm infants' mothers establish breastfeeding and maintain an adequate milk supply are vital.

        Reactive Oxygen Species Mediates Lysophosphatidic Acid-induced Migration of SKOV-3 Ovarian Cancer Cells

        세포의 이동은 성장, 면역 작용, 그리고 혈관 신생 등 많은 생리현상에 중요한 역할을 한다. 또한 염증 및 종양세포 침윤 등의 다양한 병리적 현상과도 밀접한 연관이 있다. 본 연구에서는 lysophosphatidic acid (LPA)는 활성산소의 생성을 통해 SKOV-3 난소암세포의 이동을 조절한다는 것을 관찰하였다. 먼저, 난소 암세포인 SKOV-3에서 LPA에 의한 세포의 이동이 강하게 일어남을 확인하였다. LPA에 의한 SKOV-3 세포의 이동은 phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/Akt 신호전달체계를 저해시키는 약물에 의해서 완벽히 억제됨을 확인하였으나 ERK 신호전달체계를 저해시키는 약물에 의해서는 전혀 영향을 받지 않았다. 그리고 SKOV-3 세포에서 LPA에 의한 활성산소 형성이 시간에 따라 강하게 일어남을 확인하였다. 더욱이 LPA에 의한 활성산소 형성도 PI3K 또는 Akt의 저해제에 의해서 완벽히 억제됨을 확인하였으나 ERK 신호전달을 억제하였을 때는 거의 영향을 받지 않았다. SKOV-3 세포에서 LPA에 의해 생성된 활성산소는 diphenylene idonium (DPI, 10 μM), apocyanin (Apo, 10 μM)과 같은 NADPH oxidase 억제제를 전 처리하였을 때 활성산소가 형성되지 못함을 관찰하였다. 그러나 xanthine oxidase (allopurinol, Allo, 10 μM), cyclooxygenase (indomethacin, Indo, 10 μM), 또는 mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I (rotenone, Rot, 10 μM)를 억제하였을 때는 LPA에 의한 활성산소 형성에 영향을 주지 못함을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 활성산소 억제제인 N-acetylcysteine (NAC, 10 μM)에 의해서 LPA에 의한 암세포의 이동이 억제됨을 관찰하였다. 이와 더불어 LPA에 의한 SKOV-3 세포의 이동도 NADPH oxidase 억제에 의해 저해가 됨을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과로 보아 LPA에 의한 활성산소의 형성에는 3K/Akt/NADPH oxidase 신호전달체계가 중추적인 역할을 하며 이를 통해 암세포의 이동을 조절한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. Cell motility plays an essential role in many physiological responses, such as development, immune reaction, and angiogenesis. In the present study, we showed that lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) modulates cancer cell migration by regulation of generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Stimulation of SKOV-3 ovarian cancer cells with LPA strongly promoted migration. but this migration was completely blocked by pharmacological inhibition of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/Akt signaling pathway. Inhibition of the ERK pathway had no effect on migration. Stimulation of SKOV-3 ovarian cancer cells with LPA significantly induced the generation of ROS in a time-dependent manner. LPA-induced generation of ROS was significantly blocked by pharmacological inhibition of PI3K or Akt, but inhibition of the ERK signaling pathway had little effect. LPA-induced generation of ROS was blocked by pretreatment of SKOV-3 ovarian cancer cells with an NADPH oxidase inhibitor, whereas inhibition of xanthine oxidase, cyclooxygenase, or mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I had no effect. Scavenging of ROS by N-acetylcysteine completely blocked LPA-induced migration of SKOV-3 ovarian cancer cells. Inhibition of NADPH oxidase blocked LPA-induced migration whereas inhibition of xanthine oxidase, cyclooxygenase, or mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I did not affect LPA-induced migration of SKOV-3 ovarian cancer cells. Given these results, we suggest that LPA induces ROS generation through the PI3K/Akt/NADPH oxidase signaling axis, thereby regulating cancer cell migration.

        성인과 소아에서 치과 파노라마방사선검사의 환자선량

        Objective: To suggest diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) for dental panoramic radiography in adults and children through the nationwide survey in Korea. Materials and Methods: Two hundred twelve dental institutions on a national basis were visited. The radiographic examination protocols were surveyed and their patient doses at the clinical exposure setting for adult and children (5- and 10-year old) were measured at 244 panoramic radiographic equipment. The measured DAP were analyzed and compared according to age group, the size of hospital, the type of radiographic system, the installation duration of equipment. Results: The mean exposure parameters were 70.1 kV, 9.2 mA, 14.4 second for adult and 66.6 kV, 7.9 mA, 13.8 second for 10-year old child and 65.5 kV, 7.3 mA, 13.7 second for 5-year old child. The mean and third quartile patient DAPs were 138.3 mGy cm² and 151.0 mGy cm² for adult , 99.5 mGy cm² and 104.8 mGy cm² for 10-year old child and 89.5 mGy cm² and 95.5 mGy cm² for 5-year old child. The mean patient dose at the university dental hospital was lower than that at the dental clinic (p<0.05). The mean patient dose of direct digital radiography type was higher than that of film-based type. However, the difference did not show statistically significance. Conclusion: DRLs for dental panoramic radiography in adult, 10- and 5-year old child were suggested to be 151 mGy cm², 105 mGy cm², and 96 mGy cm² in Korea based on this nationwide survey.
