The Critical Theory of Habermas and Honneth has often been criticized because it does not fundamentally question the system itself or the capitalist economy. This essay reviews the normative critiques of Habermas and Honneth and shows that they only develop a limited critique of capitalist society. This makes it clear that one reason for their limitations is that they follow the model of immanent critique. In contrast to the Critical Theory of Habermas and Honneth, the critique of fetishism, i.e. the transcendental critique, is presented as an example of non-immanent critique. This type of critique does not involve any eclipse of critique. It implies that the model of non-immanent critique should also be analyzed and further developed in order to adopt Critical Theory in a critical way.

간헐적인 연료분무의 유동특성에 관한 연구

The flow characteristics of an intermittent fuel injection into a stationary ambient air were investigated using gasoline. The measurements were made by two-channel, air cooling type Phase Doppler Anemometer(PDA) system (DANTEC, 750 MW). And a pintle type injector of MPI (Multi-point Port Injection) system was utilized as a fuel injector. The PDA receiver optic was set up in a 60.deg. C forward scatter arrangement to obtain the optimum scattering signal of fuel droplets. The data were obtained by synchronizing PDA system with the fuel injection period, and the axial and radial velocity and turbulent components of fuel droplets were mainly measured for the analysis of temporal and spatial distribution depending upon the fuel injection pressures.

Proverbs have become an essential and enduring part of daily speech in all societies by its function of stating basic principles of folk wisdom and conduct. As proverbs are created, accepted and developed by common people, they reflect the thought and sense of value of people. The meaning of the proverb is defined in Webster's New International Dictionary (1930, G. & C. Merriam Co. U. S. A. ) as: 1. An old and common saying; a phrase or expression often repeated:, esp., a sentence briefly expressing some practical wisdom; a maxim; a saw; an adage. Chaucer. 2. A striking or paradoxical assertion; an obscure saying; an enigma; a parable, used of such in the scriptures. Now speakest thou plainly, and speakest the proverb. John. xii, 29. 3. A familiar illustration, as by way of warning; a subject of contemptuous reference, reproach, of derision. And proverbs have special characteristics; shortness, concreteness, hyperbole, antithesis, rhythm, humor and satire. These characteristics are shown generally both in Korean and English proverbs. The precepts of one culture are precepts of another, for they are an outgrowth of common experiences. But whatever the phraseological turns, many proverbs convey similar meanings in different forms. In Korean proverb, there is $quot;Every mouse hall will have the chance of sunny day.$quot; The meaning of this proverb is very similar to the English proverb, $quot;Every dog has his day.$quot; However, instead of the 'mouse', the 'dog' takes the same role in the English proverb. The Korean proverb, $quot;Empty chariot is more noisy$quot; is almost same as the English proverb, $quot;Empty vessels make the greatest noise.$quot; In this proverb, Korean 'chariot' and English 'vessel' is same conceptional subject for each proverb. The Korean proverb, $quot;Barking dogs do not bite$quot; is exactly same as the English proverb, $quot;Barking dogs seldom bite.$quot; where even subject animal and verbs are identical. On the other hand, some English proverbs are told in Korean translated version between intelligences due to the influence of American culture. For instance, $quot;Heaven helps those who help themselves,$quot; $quot;Silence is golden,$quot; $quot;The early bird catches the worm,$quot; and so forth. In this thesis I analysed two proverb books for text. The Korean textbook was To Teach a Fish How to Swim (Dennis Dunham, YBM Current English Com., 1994). In this book Dunham introduced most famous Korean 125 proverbs. The English textbook was 101 American English Proverbs (Harry Collins, Passport Books, 1997). As the title shows, 101 American English proverbs are introduced and explained. In spite of Korean and English, Oriental and Western Cultural differences, among Korean 125 proverbs and English 101 proverbs, common 17 items are coincident in their meanings which shows more than 10%. The 17 items are: 1. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 2. Birds of a feather flock together. 3. Blood is thicker than water. 4. Charity begins at home. 5. Clothes do not make the man. 6. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched. 7. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again. 8. It takes two to tango. 9. Look before you leap. 10. Necessity is the mother of invention. 11. No news is good news. 12. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. 13. Rome wasn't built in a day.

보상업무의 위탁과 보상전문기관에 관한 고찰

1. 보상업무의 위탁은 사실상 민간대행의 형식을 취하면서도 실질적으로는 그 법적성격 및 효과에 있어 매우 불명확하다. 2. 보상업무수탁기관이 사업시행자의제가 되지 않아 독립적인 업무수행은 불가능하고 사업시행자 역시 보상업무를 위탁하였음에도 불구하고 실제 에 있어서는 토지소유자등에 대해서 법률적인 당사자로 위탁의 효과는 반감된다. 3. 보상에 관한 자격제도를 도입하는 경우 일본의 ‘보상업무관리사’ 자격을 참고하여 공인자격으로 도입하고 후에 이를 국가자격화를 추진하는 것 도 하나의 방법이다. 4. 보상전문기관에 대한 주무관청의 지도감독의 법적근거를 마련하고 필요 한 때에는 그 직무에 관한 사항을 보고하게 하거나 자료의 제출 기타 필요한 명령을 할 수가 있어야 한다. 5. 보상협회를 법률로 설치하거나 보상전문기관 및 보상전문가의 자율단체 를 활용하여 보상협회의 기능을 수행하도록 육성함이 필요하다. 6. 지방공사는 국가 또는 지방자치단체의 공익사업을 대행할 수 있으므로 보상전문기관 지정을 받을 필요 없이 보상대행이 가능하다. 7. 보상업무 위탁수수료를 법정요율로 지급할 것이 아니라 경쟁에 의하여 조정할 수 있도록 하고 수의계약의 조건은 엄격하게 적용하여야 할 것 이다. 8. 보상업무 용역시장화는 시장경제의 원리로 거스를 수 없을 것이다. 선진 외국과 같이 보상업무의 민간용역화를 유도하고 일자리를 창출하여야 할 것이다.

How can we best manage biochemical failure after radical prostatectomy?

Biochemical recurrence (BCR) is common after radical prostatectomy, but effective treatment options for men with BCR after curative treatment remain controversial. Although prostate-specific antigen is widely used as a surrogate marker for prostate cancer survival, it cannot fully differentiate between prostate-cancer-specific survival and overall survival. Thus, it is challenging for physicians to determine the timing of treatment to halt or slow the clinical progression of disease in patients with BCR while avoiding overtreatment for patients whose disease may not progress beyond BCR. Adjuvant therapy for radical prostatectomy or radiotherapy in intermediate- or high-risk localized prostate cancer has a benefit in terms of disease progression and survival but is not recommended in low-risk prostate cancer because of the significant adverse effects related to radiotherapy and androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT). Salvage radiotherapy (SRT) is also recommended for patients with BCR after radical prostatectomy. Several options for management of BCR after radical prostatectomy include SRT to the prostatic bed and/or pelvis, continuous or intermittent ADT, or observation. Patients’ comorbidity, preferences, and cancer-related factors must be considered when deciding the best management strategy. Modern imaging technology such as positron emission tomography imaging of prostate-specific membrane antigen-positive regions enables earlier detection of disease progression, thus enhancing decision making for future disease management.

관교의치(冠橋義齒) 납착시 Preheating 방법에 따른 치경부(齒經部) 변록의 적합도(適合度)에 관한 실험적 연구

The auther performed this experimental study on cervical margin distortion in preheating method during soldering. 1. In soldering methods, the method using the furnace has less distortion than the method using open-flame and longer the bridge spon, the larger the distortions. 2. Table Ⅰ Showed that buccal margin, lingual margin, mesial margin and distal margin had respectively 0.01mm, 0.02mm, 0.03mm, 0.03mm closer adaptation in 3 unit bridge than in 5 unit bridges. 3. Table II showed that buccal margin, lingual margin, mesial margin and distal margin had respectively 0.06mm, 0.07mm, 0.11mm, 0.05mm closer adaptation in 3 unit bridge than in 5 unit bridges.

건설공사 공사비 산정 방식의 합리적 개선 방안

제1장 서론 - 국내 공공 부문의 공사비 산정 체계는 2004년 실적공사비제도가 도입되면서 기본 구조에 많은 변화가 있었음. ․2010년 하반기 기준으로 1,726개 공종의 실적공사비 단가를 확보하였으며, 이는 실적단가 전환 대상 금액 대비 약 55% 수준임. ․당초 정부가 의도한 실적공사비제도 도입에 따른 기대 효과가 달성되고 있는지 지난 7년간의 제도 시행에 따른 중간 평가가 필요한 시점에 와 있음. - 그동안 지적되어 온 표준품셈의 한계에도 불구하고, 표준품셈은 여전히 공사비 산정 및 생산성 기준으로 중요한 기능을 담당하고 있음. ․품셈의 실사 체계에 대한 세부 기준 및 방법 등이 제대로 정립되어 있지 않다는 점에서 단순히 품 과다 논란만을 부추기는 것은 불합리한 측면이 있음. - 본 연구는 실적공사비제도 시행 현황 분석, 표준품셈의 활용 및 정비 현황 조사, 해외 유사 제도 및 사례 조사 등을 중심으로 수행함. ․이를 바탕으로 발주기관의 공사비 산정 체계의 발전 방향을 정립하고, 이를 달성하기 위한 단계별 개선 방안을 제안함.
