Brown Ring Disease (BRD) is a bacterial disease caused by Vibrio tapetis which affects cultured clam Ruditapes philippinarum and causes heavy economic losses on Atlantic coasts of france, Spain and England. In this study, to evaluate the effective detection of the pathogen, specific primer set based on 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequences designed for rapid detection of V. tapetis. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with this primer set produced the specific band for each V. tapetis. The length of PCR product using designed primer set of Vbts-F and Vbts-R was about 400 bp. Therefore, these primers will be provided with a basic tool for rapid detection of V. tapetis in the various cases such as examination of imported aquatic products, diagnosis of aquatic organisms, and etc.

Shrimp has efficient non-specific defense mechanisms based on activities of the hemocytes against pathogens. Up to now, it has been known that one of the non-specific immune reactions is related to mutual association among types of hemocyte, granular cell, semi-granular cell, and hyaline cell. In this study, we tried to know the effectiveness of feed-additives such as 5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA), chitosan, and hot-water extract of herb on immunity of shrimp (Penaeus chinensis) by hemocytic observation and SDS-PAGE analysis. Finally, we suggest a principle of the examination system for effects of various feed-additives.

Surgical resection is mainstay treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, its prognosis is poor, because of the high incidence of HCC recurrence (cumulative 5-year HCC recurrence rate of 70-80%). The most common site of HCC recurrence is the remnant liver, and extrahepatic recurrence occurs in 6.7-13.5% of patients. Because the tumor characteristics in extrahepatic recurrence are usually multiple and aggressive, the optimal treatment modality has not yet been determined. We report a case of complete remission and long term survival over 60 months in patient with extrahepatic metastasis after curative resection of HCC by aggressive treatment, which include lung resection for lung metastasis, radiotherapy for mediastinal lymph node metastasis, and systemic chemotherapy. 국가 전산망 보안관제업무의 효율적 수행방안에 관한 연구

국가ㆍ공공기관의 정보통신망에 대한 최근의 사이버공격은 날로 지능화ㆍ고도화 되어 갈 뿐 아니라 심지어 경쟁상대국이 국가기밀이나 첨단산업기술 절취를 위해 국가차원에서 조직적으로 감행하는 경우도 있어 새로운 국가안보의 위협요소로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 사이버공격에 효율적으로 대응하기 위해서는 기존의 정보보호시스템 운용만으로는 한계가 있어 사이버공격을 실시간 탐지, 분석ㆍ대응하는 보안관제가 그 중요성을 더해가고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 국가 전산망에 대한 사이버위협 실태 및 대응방안을 살펴본 후 현재 우리나라 국가ㆍ공공기관에서 이러한 사이버 공격에 대응하기 위해 실시하고 있는 보안관제 업무의 수행체계ㆍ방법 등 실태 분석을 통해 국가 전산망 보안관제 업무를 효율적ㆍ체계적으로 수행하기 위한 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다. Recently, cyber attacks against public communications networks are getting more complicated and varied. Moreover, in some cases, one country could make systematic attacks at a national level against another country to steal its confidential information and intellectual property. Therefore, the issue of cyber attacks is now regarded as a new major threat to national security. The conventional way of operating individual information security systems such as IDS and IPS may not be sufficient to cope with those attacks committed by highly-motivated attackers with significant resources. As a result, the monitoring and control of cyber security, which enables attack detection, analysis and response on a real-time basis has become of paramount importance. This paper discusses how to improve efficiency and effectiveness of national cyber security monitoring and control services. It first reviews major threats to the public communications network and how the responses to these threats are made and then it proposes a new approach to improve the national cyber security monitoring and control services.
