        국회 국토해양위원회 김성곤 의원(민주당 여수갑)이 지난 10월 6일부터 열린 2008년 국정감사에 앞서 '건설하도급업계 위기 원인 진단과 개선방안'이라는 정책자료집을 발간했다. 김성곤 의원은 "건설시장은 아직도 하도급업체에 대한 어음결제 비율이 높고, 건설시장의 구조화된 다단계의 문제점이 존재하고 있다"며 "정부정책에서 중소건설업체와 종사자들에 대한 배려, 따뜻한 정책으로 공정한 시장경제를 이뤄야 한다는 생각에서 자료집을 발간하게 됐다"고 밝혔다. 이자료집은 대한설비건설협회가 건의한 내용을 바탕으로 작성된 것이며, 자세한 내용은 다음과 같다.

        찹쌀의 겨층 구조 및 전분의 몇가지 성질

        The numbers of aleurone layers and thickness of pericarp of waxy rice in dorsal side were higher than those in vental side, However, varietal characteristics of the bran structures were observed. The water uptake rates of brown rice at 60℃ were similar between j × indica varieties(Hangangchalbyeo, H and Baegunchalbyeo, B) and higer than that of japonica variety (Shinsunchalbyeo, S). Inherent viscosities for H, B and S waxy rice starches were 1.92, 1.84 and 1.73 dlg^(-1), respectively. The minimum moistures for gelatinization of waxy rice starches determined by DSC were 36.4∼38.6% which represented 4moles of water per mole of hexose unit.

        현미와 백미의 저장중 이화학적 성질의 변화

        The changes in water uptake rate, cooking properties, color of rice grains and gelatinization properties of brown and milled rites during storage were studied. The brown and milled rites were stored at 4 and 25℃ for 5 and 3 months, respectively. The water uptake rate constants of rites during hydration at 30℃ were linearly decreased during storage. The volume increase rate also showed similar trend to the water uptake rate. The terminal point of cooking of milled rice at 100℃ in a sealed brass vessel was about a half of that of brown rice. The cooking rate of milled rice was 1.8 times faster than that of brown rice. The cooking rate constant of both brown and milled rites linearly decreased with the increase of storage time. The L(lightness) value increased for brown rice grain and remained unchanged for milled rice grain during storage. The peak viscosity of rice flours by amylograph increased during storage, but enthalpy for gelatinization decreased, as measured by differential scanning calorimetry.

        Physicochemical Properties of Tongil(Indica type) and Paldal (Japonica type) Rice Starch

        Physicochemical properties of rice starches from Paldal(japonica type) and Tongil(indica type) were investigated. There were no significant differences in water-binding capacity, blue value and amylose content between the two starches. Paldal starch showed a higher value for-swelling power than Tongil starch. Amylograph data showed that both Paldal and Tongil starches had similar paste viscosities except setback in which Tongil starch showed a higher value. No significant differences were observed for intrinsic viscosity and glucose units per segment between Paldal and Tongil amylopectin fractions. However, the intrinsic viscosity for Tongil amylose was considerably higher than Paldal amylose. The rate of retrogradation of Tongil starch gels at $21^{\circ}C$ was faster than Paldal starch gels. 통일 및 팔달쌀 전분의 이화학적 성질을 살펴본 바, 전분의 물결합능력, blue value 및 아밀로스 함량에 서로 차이가 없었다. 팔달 전분은 통일 전분에 비해 팽화력이 높았다. 아밀로그라프에 의한 두전분의 차이는 볼 수 없었으나 통일이 팔달보다 $50^{\circ}C$로 냉각시 점도가 다소 높았다. 또한 통일 아밀로스의 intrinsic viscosity는 팔달 아밀로스보다 높았으나 아밀로펙틴은 두 전분모두 비슷한 값을 보였다. 전분 gel의 retrogradation 속도는 $21^{\circ}C$에서 통일이 팔달보다 다소 빨랐다.

        FEM 3차원 모델을 이용한 인공관절 대퇴 Stem 경계면의 미세운동 분석

        In cementless total hip arthroplasty(THA), an initial stability of the femoral component is mandatory to achieve bony inyowth and secondary long term fixation. Primary stability of the femoral component can be obtained by minimizing the magnitude of relative micromotions at bone stem interface. An accurate evaluation of interf'ace micromotion and stress/strain fields in the bone-implant system may be relevant for better understanding of clinical situations and improving THA design. Recently finite element method(FEM) was introduced in'orthopaedic research field due to its unique capacity to evaluate stress in structure of complex shape, loading and material behavior. The authors developed the 3-dimensional finite element model of proximal femur with $Multilock^{TM}$ stem of 1179 blick elements to analyse the micromotions and mechanical behaviors at the bone-stem inteface in early post-operative period for the load simulating single leg stance. The results indicates that the values of relative motion for this well fit stem were $150{\mu}m$ in maximum $82{\mu}m$ in minimum and the largest relative motion was developed in medial region of Proximal femur and in anterior-posterior direction. The motion in the proximal bone was much greater than in the distal bone and the stress pattern showed high stress concentration on the cortex near the tip of the stem. These findings indicate that the loading on the hip joint in the early postoperative situation before achieving bony ingrowth could produce large micromotion of $150{\mu}m$ and clinicaly non-cemented THA patient should not be allowed weight bearing strictly early in the postoperative period.

        시뮬레이션 모형과 실험설계법을 활용한 창정비 비용대 효과 분석 사례

        본 연구는 복수 품목을 정비하는 단일 정비부대의 정비 프로세스를 시뮬레이션으로 모델링하였다. 이를 통해 정비능력을 공유한 정비창이 최적 비용으로 구성품 가동률과 목표 가동율 등을 달성하는지를 분석할 수 있다. 구성품 가동률과 정비시간 등을 핵심 성과지표로 하여 육군 항공기 정비단 엔진 정비프로세스에 대한 시뮬레이션 모델을 구성하고 실증연구를 하였다. 영향요소의 식별을 위해 NOLH 실험설계법을 적용하여, 33가지 시나리오를 구성하고 다중회귀분석을 수행하였다. 이 비용분석 연구를 통해 정비 프로세스의 개선사항을 식별할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 시뮬레이션을 통해 복수품목을 정비하는 단일 정비부대의 비용대 효과 분석 모형을 제공했다는데 의의가 있다. This paper is to study the simulation model of depot maintenance system that analyzes logistics supportability such as component availability and cost of target equipment. A depot maintenance system could repair or maintain multiple components simultaneously. The key performance indicators of this system are component availability, repair cycle time, and maintenance cost. The simulation model is based on the engine maintenance process of army aviation depot. This study combines the NOLH(Nearly Orthogonal Latin Hypercube) experimental design method, to composes 33 scenarios, with a multiple regression analysis to find out major factors that influence on key performance indicators. This study is significant in providing a cost-effectiveness analysis on depot maintenance system that is capable of maintaining multiple components at the same time.

        Spontaneous Regression of Extruded Lumbar Disc Herniation: Three Cases Report

        Herniated nucleus pulposus (HNP) is a common disease that induces back pain and radicular pain. Some cases require surgical treatment due to persistent severe pain. However, in some cases, pain can be relieved with conservative treatment or at times relived spontaneously. Therefore, the most effective treatment method for HNP is undefinable. Spontaneous regression of HNP has been recognized with the advancement of radiological diagnostic tools and can explain the reason of spontaneous relief of symptoms without treatment.
