In this research, the effect of the intensity, amount, and frequency of season training on the results of first class short range swimmers was studied. The intensity of the training turned out to be more important than the amount or frequency of the training to produce improved performance during the season. In case of first class swimmers, the greatly lowered performance level due to the detraining period before the season did not affect much on the improvement of the performance during the season, though their adaptability to the season training was big enough. Though the performance improvement during the season is significantly related with the intensity of the training (r=0.08, p<.01), it was not related with the amount and frequency of the training. Performance improvement has a negative correlation with performance level at the beginning of the season (r=90, p<.01). GIR group had less decrease in the performance level during the detraining period before the season than GNI group (6.36±2.31% vs. 9.88±2.04, p<.01). This research result implies that the intensity of training is an important factor to improve first class swimmers' performance. The lowered performance level at the beginning of the season resulting from the detraining period improves the athletes' adaptability to the season training, but it does not have enough effect on the performance improvement (breaking their own performance record of the previous season).

The purpose of this study was to provide scientific data to improve body composition and muscular strength and prevent injuries in athletes through 10-week K-Bar training. The Subjects in this experiment were 18 high school athletes who wanted to participate in the experiment actively. We investigated the effect of 10-week K-Bar training on body composition, Wingate, and muscle strength in 18 Athletes and got results. The training is effective for weight and fat-free mass in body composition, increase in anaerobic power, and increase in lower-body muscle strength. It is considered that those will improve athletic performance. Therefore, there is a need for customized, individual-focused exercise prescription before planning K-Bar weight training.
12주의 K-Bar웨이트트레이닝이 주니어 엘리트 선수의 신체 정렬 변화에 미치는 영향

[INTRODUCTION] To confirm the effects of 12-week K-Bar weight training on body alignment changes. [METHODS] The K-Bar weight training was applied to 18 junior elite athletes(age;14.25±1.05 years, height; 160.53±8.06cm, weight; 48.42±8.18kg, BMI; 19.00±1.98kg·m2) at physical education middle schools in S City four times per week for 12 weeks. Changes to their height, trunk length, and weight were compared and analyzed before and after the training. [RESULTS] The subjects' height increased from 160.53±8.06cm before the training to 161.14±8.11cm(by about 0.38%) after the training in a statistically significant level(p<.01). Their trunk length also increased from 401.56±55.54mm to 416.78±64.58mm, but the increase was not statistically significant(p=.088). And their weight increased from 50.69±10.36kg before the training to 53.98±10.59kg after the training, and the increase was statistically significant(p<.01). [CONCLUSION] Possibility that acquiring the right posture through K-Bar weight training once a week for 12 weeks can have positive effects on body alignment. [서론] 본 연구의 목적은 신체정렬에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하는 것이다. [방법] S시 소재 체육 중학교 주니어 엘리트 선수 18명(나이;14.25±1.05년, 키; 160.53±8.06cm, 몸무게; 48.42±8.18kg, BMI; 19.00±1.98kg·m2)을 대상으로 12주간 주 4회 K-Bar웨이트 트레이닝을 실시하였으며, 트레이닝 전, 후 신장, Trunk length, 체중의 변화를 비교 분석하였다. [결과] 연구 결과 신장은 트레이닝 전 160.53±8.06cm에서 이후 161.14±8.11cm로 0.61cm(약 0.38%)의 증가가 나타났으며, 통계적으로 유의한 수준이었다(p<.01). Trunk length 역시 401.56±55.54mm에서 416.78±64.58mm으로 상승이 나타났으나, 통계적으로 유의한 수준은 아니었다(p=.088). 체중의 경우에는 50.69±10.36kg에서 트레이닝 이후 53.98±10.59kg으로 상승하였으며, 통계적으로 유의한 수준으로 나타났다(p<.01). [결론] 12주간 주 1회 K-Bar웨이트트레이닝을 통해 바른 자세를 습득하는 것은 신체정렬에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.
