        스포츠 사회학 : 스포츠 신문 기능이 대학생의 스포츠 신문 만족도와 스포츠 대중화에 미치는 영향

        This study collected male and female university students living in Busan at present 2003 year as a universe to look into the effect of the sporting newspaper's function on popularization of sports and the moral sense of the sporting newspaper positively, and used 304 male and female university students for actual analysis with the purposive sampling methods or a non-probability sample, except insincere 16 samples. In this investigation we used such investigating methods as Go young-kyu,s(2001) The study of survival strategy of a hearsay newspaper according to changes of the environment of the speech, Kim yang-rea(1988) 'The study about the receiver's decoding and the reporting tendency of typical sexual role of media sports' Lee deuk-jea,s(2001) media focus on imagination of sporting newspaper's desire” and Joo jin-sook,s(2000). The functions and the moral sense of sporting newspaper suggested at consideration about a sex-appealing comic strip of sporting newspaper”. With the above methods, we organized a questionnaire suitable for this study and used a corrected and edited questionnaire based on experts’ advices and preliminary investigations. The conclusions are as follows. First, as a result of analysis about the utilization of sporting newspaper as sex distinction, males' frequence of use appeared higher than female, and even though there were some differences in that choosing a place to read sporting newspaper, both male and female preferred to read newspaper through the internet or in the subway. While males read it for taking sports information and killing time, females read it for just reading and killing time. That means that male read it for information, on the other hand female read it as a magazine for amusement. Second, with a result that we analysed the difference of perception about functions of sporting newspaper and the moral sense of sporting newspaper as sex distinction, males’ inclination for informational propensity, interpretational propensity, recreational propensity, advertising propensity, and the moral sense of sporting newspaper showed higher. Third, in consequence of analysing the related effects of sporting newspaper's function between the moral sense of sporting newspaper for university students and the popularization of sports, informational propensity, interpretational propensity, recreational propensity, advertising propensity of sporting newspaper had an heedful effect on the moral sense of sporting newspaper, and on popularization of sports informational propensity and interpretational propensity had an effect, finally the moral sense of sporting newspaper was represented that it had an heedful effect on popularization of sports.

        1920년대 중반 벽신문(壁新聞)의 등장과 의미

        The objective of this study is to identify the principal entity of publishing the wall newspaper in the mid-1920s, and to clarify the development and meaning of the “wall newspaper movement”. The wall newspaper was first published in February 1926 by youth groups and ideological groups in Seoul. At that time, all publication organizations of the wall newspaper were closely related to socialist secret societies that operated in illegal areas. In other words, the publication of the wall newspaper in 1926 was led by socialists who were active in Korea. At the time, those who led the publication of the wall newspaper insisted on publishing the wall newspaper as a form of media for the proletarian classes, such as workers and farmers who had difficulty accessing newspapers or magazines due to economic difficulties. They published a wall newspaper as a means to directly propagate their opinions to the general public hardly accessible to the mass media and to provide them with general knowledge on basic social issues. In addition, socialists at the time were struggling to communicate with the public in the face of the censorship system of the Japanese colonial power, so they chose to publish a wall newspaper as a means to overcome the difficulty. As such, the publication of the wall newspaper began in the Seoul area, and gradually spread to the provinces. This phenomenon, which is the so-called “wall newspaper movement”, emerged in most provinces all over the country, and was most active around April-July 1926 and April-July 1927. The development of this national “wall newspaper movement” was linked to the movement of socialists who exercised popular influence by actively participating in the formation of the Singanhoe branches. Meanwhile, when the “wall newspaper movement” appeared nationwide and public response was confirmed, Japanese colonial power began to suppress the wall newspaper. The suppression of the wall newspaper by Japanese colonial power was generally found to be a method of confiscating the wall newspaper itself or punishing those involved. In response to the suppression of colonial power, socialist forces responded by introducing a form such as a ‘Living newspaper’ centered on oral rather than text. 이 논문의 목적은 1920년대 중반 벽신문의 발행 주체를 확인하고, ‘벽신문 운동’의 전개 양상과 그 의미를 밝히는 데 있다. 벽신문은 1926년 2월 서울의 청년단체와 사상단체에서 처음 발행했다. 당시 벽신문 발행을 시작한 단체들은 모두 비합법 영역에서 활동했던 사회주의 비밀결사와 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있었다. 즉 1926년 벽신문 발행은 국내에서 활동했던 사회주의 세력에서 주도한 것이다. 당시 벽신문을 발행을 주도한 주체들은 경제적 어려움으로 신문이나 잡지 등을 접하기 힘든 노동자·농민 같은 무산계급을 위한 매체로써 벽신문을 발행한다고 주장했다. 대중 매체를 접하기 힘든 대중에게 직접 자신들의 주장을 선전하고, 기본적인 사회문제에 대한 교양을 제공하기 위한 수단으로 벽신문을 발행했다. 또 당시 사회주의 세력은 일제 식민권력의 검열제도에 막혀 대중과 소통 에 어려움을 겪고 있었기 때문에 이것을 돌파하기 위한 수단으로 벽신문 발행을 선택한 것이기도 했다. 이처럼 서울 지역에서 시작된 벽신문 발행은 이후 점차 지방으로 확산했다. 이른바 ‘벽신문 운동’이라고 부를 수 있는 이 현상은 전국 대부분의 지방에서 나타났으며, 시기적으로 볼 때 1926년 4~7월과 1927년 4~7월 무렵에 가장 활발 하게 전개됐다. 이러한 전국적인 ‘벽신문 운동’의 전개는 신간회 지회 결성 등에 적극적으로 참여하면서 대중적 영향력을 발휘했던 사회주의 세력의 움직임과 연결되어 있었다. 한편 전국적으로 ‘벽신문 운동’이 나타나고 대중의 호응도 확인되자 일제 식 민권력은 벽신문을 탄압하기 시작했다. 일제 식민권력의 벽신문 탄압은 대체로 벽신문 자체를 압수하거나 관련자를 처벌하는 방식으로 나타났다. 이러한 식민 권력의 탄압에 맞서 사회주의 세력은 문자가 아닌 구술이 중심이 된 생신문과 같은 형식을 도입해 대응했다.

        신문산업진흥 입법 논의를 위한 프랑스 신문지원정책 탐색

        Since 2003, our newspaper subsidy system has been influenced by France through its long history and diverse policies. France held the "Print Media National Congress" to provide urgent relief to the newspaper industry facing the 2008 crisis and proposed a policy for the future of newspapers. Some examples of such policies include newspaper distribution support, restructuring of newspaper printing, increase in newspaper advertising expenses, subscription fee for juvenile newspaper subsidies, and tax exemption. French newspaper subsidy policy has attracted great attention to our press and studies of journalism. Since 2009, legislation has been actively enacted in the National Assembly for restructuring of the newspaper industry, joint delivery and joint printing support, subscription for youth subsidies, support for digital infrastructure construction, and tax reduction. However, discussions on legislative initiatives during the 18th and 19th Congress regarding the newspaper industry were not successful due to problems such as overlapping newspaper subsidy that already existed. Our newspaper is still in a serious crisis. Newspaper subsidy systems are also failing due to insufficient funds and inefficiencies in business. We should again focus on French newspaper subsidy policies and newspaper subsidy systems. In the 20th National Assembly, the legislative process for promoting the newspaper industry should be discussed so that funds can be provided for urgent projects such as subsidies for future newspaper readers, newspaper industry restructuring support (joint printing and co-delivery) and digital news production support. 2003년부터 우리의 신문지원제도는 오랜 역사와 다양한 정책을 갖춘 프랑스의 영향을 받아왔다. 프랑스는 2008년 위기에 직면한 신문산업을 긴급 구제하기 위해 ‘인쇄미디어국민회의’를 개최하고 신문의 미래를 위한 정책을 제안했다. 정책제안 중에서 신문유통 지원, 신문인쇄 구조개편, 신문 광고비 증액, 청소년 신문구독료 지원, 조세 감면등이 실행됐다. 프랑스의 신문지원정책은 우리 언론계와 언론학계에 큰 관심을 불러 일으켰다. 2009 년부터 국회에서 신문산업 구조개편, 공동배달과 공동인쇄 지원, 청소년 구독료 지원, 디지털인프라구축 지원, 조세감면 등을 위한 입법이 활발해졌다. 그러나 18대와 19대국회의 신문산업진흥 입법논의는 이미 존재하던 신문지원제도와 중복 등의 문제로 성과를 거두지 못했다. 우리 신문은 여전히 심각한 위기에 있다. 신문지원제도도 부족한 재원과 사업의 비효율성으로 후퇴하고 있다. 다시 프랑스의 신문지원정책과 신문지원제도에 주목해야 할것이다. 미래 독자인 청소년 신문구독료 지원, 신문산업 구조개편 지원(공동인쇄와 공동배달), 디지털뉴스제작 지원과 같은 긴급한 사업을 위한 기금을 마련해서 집중 지원할수 있도록 20대 국회에서도 신문산업 진흥을 위한 입법 논의가 시작돼야 할 것이다.

        NIE 수강 대학생의 유료 지역신문 정기 구독의도 결정요인: 지속적 이용과 비이용 예정자 집단의 비교를 중심으로

        Local newspapers are facing a crisis. This study was conceived with the judgment that it would be important to promote a newspaper subscription among college students in their twenties, who were accustomed to free news at portal sites, in order to overcome the crisis of local newspapers. The study also judged that a newspaper in education (NIE) should be provided which helped to realize the need for and usefulness of local newspapers in order to promote a newspaper subscription among college students. The investigator thus designed an experiment situation in which NIE would be provided to a group of college students that had no experience with newspaper subscription for one semester. Those college students that received this education and used a local newspaper were divided into prospective ongoing local newspaper users and non-users, and causes of differences between them were examined. Specifically, differences in variables of the planned behavior theory such as the motivation for using a local newspaper, value assessment of local newspapers, and attitude toward local newspapers were checked between the two groups through t-test. The study also looked into differences in the determinants to promote an intention for subscribing to a paid local newspaper between the two groups, compared the results between them, and offered implications for differentiated subscription strategy and campaign revenues according to the subjects that received NIE. The study put the findings together to provide implications for the achievements and successful utilization possibilities of NIE and for the ongoing local newspaper utilization possibilities and effects to induce a regular subscription according to differences in local newspapers among those who received NIE. Furthermore, the study offered some assistance for developing differentiating strategies to promote a regular local newspaper subscription according to the characteristics of college students receiving NIE. 지역신문의 위기이다. 본 연구는 지역신문의 위기를 극복하기 위해서는 포털을 통한 무료 뉴스 이용에 익숙해져 있는 20대 대학생들의 지역신문 구독을 이끌어 내는 것이 중요하다고 판단했다. 아울러 대학생들의 지역신문 구독을 이끌어 내기 위해서는 지역신문의 필요성과 유용성을 인식시키는 신문 활용 대학 교육(NIE)이 필요하다고 판단했다. 본 연구자는 이를 위해 지역신문 구독 경험이 없는 대학생들을 대상으로 1학기동안 지역신문 활용 교육(NIE)을 수행하는 실험 설계 상황을 설정했다. 또한 이러한 교육을 받은 지역신문 이용 대학생들을 지속적 지역신문 이용 예정자와 비이용 예정자로 구분하고, 이러한 차이를 이끌어 내는 원인에 대해 탐색했다. 구체적으로 두집단간의 지역신문 이용동기, 지역신문 가치평가, 지역신문에 대한 태도 등 계획행동이론 변인 상의 차이를 t검증을 통해 확인했다. 아울러 두 집단의 유료 지역신문구독의도를 이끌어 내는 결정요인의 차이에 대해 탐색하고, 두 개의 결과를 비교하여, 지역신문 활용 교육을 받은 대상에 따른 차별적인 구독전략 캠페인 수입을 위한 함의를 제시했다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과를 종합하여 지역신문을 활용한 교육의 성과 및 성공적인 활용 가능성에 관한 함의를 제시하고, 지역신문을 활용한 교육 대상자들의 지역신문에 관한 인식 차에 따른 지속적 지역신문 활용 가능성 및 정기 구독유발 효과에 대한 함의를 제시하고자 했다. 또한 지역신문 활용 교육을 받은 대학생 집단의 특성에 따른 차별적인 지역신문 정기 구독 유발 전략 도출에 도움을 제공하고자 했다.

        8·15 해방 후 신문의 문화적 기능과 신문소설 - 식민유산의 해체와 전환을 중심으로

        Korean modern newspaper had been functioned more than as a media. While it was performing as an organization for a ‘save-the-nation movement’ and the public enlightenment, it made a peculiar concept of the newspaper. So, the public expected the role of a newspaper a lot. The public recognized that it should lead them and the nucleus of a newspaper was a patriot. In the aspect of culture, especially privatelymanaged newspaper from the 1920s to the 1930s exerted a strong influence on a new literature and literary circles in Joseon. This feature had influenced after Korean Liberation. So, the contradictory doublesideness of publics and marketability of newspaper, and culture and marketability of the newspaper literature coped with and adjusted to changes of the times. Meanwhile, the newspaper functioned as a culture and it was no less than the past. In this process, the inheritance produced by combining with newspaper and literature, the custom derived from them, and internalized ideology were demolished and changed. In aspect of the newspaper, not only the importance of literary strategies and the literature arrangement, but also the intimate network between the literary circles and the newspaper representing arts and science, the being of literary journalist, the base of the production and formation of the literary discussion and exclusive sectarianism between newspaper and journalists were demolished. It is a serial story in a newspaper that exposes these aspects most. It is esteemed highly comparing to the past because of the selection and concentration of the literary strategy which has a standard on the merchantable quality. During the colonial era, a long serial story made up only 50 percent in a serial newspaper. However, for 30 years after Korean Liberation, it made up 95 percent in it. That is, the long serial story had infinite growth in the systematic boundary called ‘newspaper’. So, the writers had to write focusing on newspaper choice. Also, the popularity of a serial story which was different from the past was strengthened and the mutual exclusive notion to culture and popularity proceeded to extremes. Also, because of political authority, newspaper capital, Self-Regulatory Organization and readers, the diversified censorship affects on the rules from writing materials, topics to the way of imagery. In this unfavorable condition, there were many changes. They were the supports from newspaper capital, high editorial readership and the changed positive notion of the literary circles to popularity. So, a serial story in a newspaper achieved a symbol authority as a representation of the literature at least until 1970s.

        스포츠산업,경영 : 스포츠신문 발전을 위한 마케팅 차별화 전략

        There were some close relations between sport and sports newspapers. It means that according to developing of sports, sports newspapers can develope. Also, so that sports newspapers develop more, they have to compete among themselves and concern about people’s interest. In addition, nowadays, the newspaper industry is in complex competition aspect not only Korean newspaper’s but also new media and abroad sports newspaper’s. Therefore newspaper’s industry has to be developed through being premised self-regulation competition which is developed into more qualitative development than quantitative development. The purpose of this study research was to grasp actuality of domestic sports newspapers exactly, foresee the future of them and offer some information needed for differentiation strategy which was coincided with Newspaper publishing company’s special quality. The marketing differentiation strategy of sports newspaper publishing company was as following. First of all, newspaper publishing company needed the professional sports marketer. Secondly, make up the total marketing - Meaning of the total marketing is the marketing’s extension which planed advertising, selling and publishing through professional marketer, Inside infra construction and has done Strategic alliance externally. Thirdly, have to make effort to get Korean sports fans. Fourthly, change the product of sports newspaper. Fifthly, promote Sales for service and contents of newspaper. Sixthly, increase the effect of ads. Seventhly, diversification of sports newspaper business. Finally, improve the image and recognizing of sports newspaper through getting stadium’s name(For example, Sports Seoul Sang-Am Stadium and Daily Sports Daegu Stadium etc).

        지역신문 지원 조례(안) 비교분석을 통한 현실적 쟁점 고찰

        Support for local newspaper has been carried out in a public support level, after the special law of supporting local newspaper development in2004. The public support for the local newspaper is the product of the government``s will to improve the local newspaper by acquiring the opinion diversitiy in local community. Along with the central government``s supporting policy for the local newspaper, regional governments also try to strengthen the competitiveness of the local newspaper by establishing the local newspaper supporting ordinance. After the first local newspaper ordinance was enacted in Gyeongsan Province in 2010, the same ordinance was established in municipal corporations like Busan, Chungnam and local governments like Seoul Dongjak gu, Gyeonggi Province Ujjeongbu. Also, the movement for enacting the local newspaper ordinance is very active in Gyeonggido, Chungcheongbukdo, Jeonlado, and Gwangju city. The common thing that is confirmed both in local communities in which the ordinance was established or is being under discussion is the acknowledgement that the support for the local newspaper is needed through the ordinance. However, due to the discordance in opinions about the supporting ordinance, the process of enacting the ordinance is undergoing the difficulties in some regional communities. Therefore, this paper reconsiders the realistic issue in the local newspaper supporting ordinance and finds the better solution by analyzing the ordinance which is either being actually performed or being under debates. After thorough analysis, five issues are recognized; first, whether internet newspaper is included in terms of coverage of supporting, second, absolute condition and priority condition in terms of the qualification of applying, third, the difference from the special law of supporting the local newspaper``s development which is in a higher rank, fourth, securing finances after the enactment of the ordinance, fifth, establishing the committee for operating the ordinance. So this study emphasizes that select and concentration principal should be maintained in terms of the direction of the ordinance, that publicity budget of the regional communities should be connected with the support for the local newspaper in order to remove the cause of excessive establishment of local newspapers, and that independence and fairness of the local newspaper development committee should be secured. In order to solve the issues, the solutions with realistic base are first, to carry out the ordinance by dividing the subjects for the annual support of the local newspaper, second, to put more importance in employment security and contribution in local community such as tax, four major insurance, employment rate by having contests for individual businesses like covering a in-depth case or a special feature, and educating underprivileged class.

        종이 신문 이용자의 만족도 연구: 독자의 공정성과 신뢰성 판단이 주는 영향

        This study investigates the influence of newspaper subscription on some variables. The type of newspaper subscription is divided into three groups; subscribers, readers who read newspaper regularly but don’t subscribe it, and non-users who don’t read newspaper. The subscription type is statistically related to news credibility of national daily newspaper but not to that of terrestrial television news. As the result of cross tabulation analysis by only two types (subscribers and readers), subscribers are more likely to be satisfied by newspaper than readers. The result is statistically significant. The cross tabulation analysis between the two types and three demographical variables is done and all three variables (gender, age, education) are statistically related to the subscription type. Using cross tabulation analysis, the relationship between newspaper satisfaction and newspaper fairness and credibility is investigated. As the result, both of newspaper fairness and credibility are statistically related to newspaper satisfaction. Using the demographical variables as control variables, the influence of newspaper fairness and credibility on newspaper satisfaction is investigated. As th result, all three variables (gender, age, education) have no impact on newspaper satisfaction statistically. Newspaper credibility appears to have more impact on newspaper satisfaction than newspaper fairness. This study uses a very big sample of Korea Media User Survey 2015 so its result is said to represent Korea population. But most answers to the question on newspaper satisfaction, fairness, and credibility belong to two categories, ‘average’ and ‘a little satisfied/fair/credible) so analysis on the variables is limited to cross tabulation analysis.

        신문디자인 구성요소의 특성 및 경향 연구

        As ``Avisa Relation oder Zeitung`` which is as the first modern newspaper was issued in 1609, it became possible to newspaper because of its in-depth repors, newspaper compaies had to improve the typographic readability and esthetic features as competitors emerged. Newspaper consists of a variety of visual elements such as modular grids, which utilize formats and columns, the title, fonts, images and cartoons, colors, lines and empty space, ads, and so forth. Thus, it is necessary to study characteristics and recent trends in term of design in order to improve the level of newspaper design. The growing trens is that newspaper formats are smaller, and that a modular girls are applied with five to seven columns depending in the format. The title is at the top of the front page and utilized to symbolize the newspaper. An increasing number of newspapers are using custom fonts, Images such as photos and infographics as well as cartoons are taken full advantage of. The use of lines to decorate the page gradually reduces, and instead the margin is rather left blank. The weight of ad is increasing to secure financial support, but prominent world-class newspapers maintain the authority by posting no ad on the front page. Although the design is varied depending on the newspaper company, the principles of designing in applying the components are similar. A study on the components and trends of newspaper design, therefore, may be utilized as a guideline for newspapers to improve the design. However, since components function as part of a system, they need to be well organized for the newspaper to be more appealing to readers.

        한국 일간지의 헬스기사 보도양상: 종합지와 경제지의 차이를 중심으로

        This study analyzed the difference of health news aspect and its reason between daily newspaper and economic newspaper. Content analysis of 1227 health news was conducted. Those news were reported in 2014 by 6 Korean newspapers, which included 4 daily newspapers and 2 economic newspapers. In 1227 health news, the most reported health area were industry & goods, policy and health care. In medical area, internal medicine, neuropsychiatry and cancer were reported more than others. In news value, usefulness was the most important, and in news frame, human interest, precaution and praise frame were shown more than others. The most important news source were doctor, hospital and public official. Health news aspects between daily newspapers and economic newspapers were shown differently. Significantly reported health areas in daily newspaper were disease, health care and policy, whereas those in economic newspapers were health in dustry & goods. In news value, daily newspapers focused on usefulness and economic newspapers on human interest. In daily newspaper human interest, precaution and conflict frames were shown more, whereas in economic newspapers, praise, human interest and precaution frames were more. In news attitude, daily newspaper reported more in the order of neutral, negative and positive, whereas economic newspaper more in the order of neutral, positive and negative. In news source, daily newspaper used patient, family and citizen more than economic newspaper, and economic newspaper used industrial and economic sources more than daily newspaper. Economic newspaper reported commercial news more than daily newspaper. Differences of news aspects mainly resulted from differences of company philosophy and consumer which daily and economic newspapers respectively thought highly of. It was suggested that the diversity of news source and reported medical area should be expanded and commercial news be decreased for the development of health journalism.
