구비문학은 한 민족의 특성을 담고 있는 문화의 보고라는 점을 인정할 때, 헝가리 구비문학 연구는 헝가리 민족과 문화의 특성을 이해할 수 있는 훌륭한 방법이 된다. 이 글에서는 구비산문 중에서도 민담만을 연구 대상으로 하여, 민담의 갈래와 구조적인 특징을 고찰하였다. 헝가리 민담은 내용에 따라 여러 갈래로 분류된다. 요정담은 전체 민담의 50% 이상을 차지하고 있으며, 동물담과 교훈담, 우스개 이야기등의 세부 갈래로 나눌 수 있다. 2장에서는 헝가리 민담의 갈래 분류를 소개하고,각 갈래를 대표하는 작품을 짧게 요약하여 소개하였다. 3장에서는 앞에서 소개한 민담에서 뽑아낸 구조적인 특징을 도출해 보았다. 그 결과 헝가리 민담에만 존재하는 독특한 모티브가 발견되었고, 이것에 대해 4장에서 분 석하였다. 연구 결과 헝가리 민족은 아시아 민족이며, 목축을 중심으로 하는 경제구조를 지탱하기 위해 유럽까지 이주해갔음을 알게 되었다. 그 결과 헝가리는 아시아 민족이면서 유럽의 중앙에 위치하게 되었고, 서유럽의 공통적인 문화코드인 카톨릭을 받아들여, 국교로 발전시켰다. 이렇게 해서 헝가리는 서유럽의 문화유산과 아시아의 고유한 문화유산을 함께 지니고 있는 특별한 민족이 되었다. 구비민담이 각 민족에게 가장 오래되고 가장 보편적인 가치관의 결정체 라고 할 때, 헝가리 민담에서 가장 오래되고 가장 독특한 것을 찾아내는 것은 헝가리 민족의 고유한 가치관을 이해할 수 있는 지렛대가 될 수 있다.이 글은 헝가리의 구비민담을 연구대상으로 하여, 헝가리 민족이 이어 내려온 고유한 이야기를 내용과 형식면에서 고찰하고자 했다.그러므로 민담이 배경으로 하고 있는 시대의 모습과 문화, 더 나아가 고유한 가치관과 신앙관을 추정할 수 있는 가능성도 담고자 노력했다. 민담이 간직하고 있는 공동체 문화의 발견과 가치 평가는 헝가리 민족의 고유함과 독자적 특징을 보여주고, 우리에게 헝가리 문화에 대한 이해를 도와줄 것이다. A literature of Folklore contains the very characteristics of a nation. It is needless to say the literature of Folklore is a treasure house of a culture. So to study the Hungarian folklore is a royal road to understand the Hungarian nation and the special feature of their own thoroughly. In this context, this article examined and analyzed the Hungarian Folklore, especially concentrating on the structure of the oral tales. First of all, the fairy tales were the most important part of the Hungarian oral tradition. Maybe about 50% of the oral tradition can be classified as a category of fairy tales. And then there were animal stories, didactic literature (or morality story) and some jokes. In the second chapter of the article, I introduced the varieties of the hungarian folklore and analyzed some representative stories of the genres. In the next chapter were the analyses of the structural characteristics of the folklore. Then I found out the very features only relevant to the Hungarian folklore. There were the points of the 4th chapter. Hungarian Nation were suspected to be come from Asian regions for a long time ago. The reason why was they had raised the livestocks and they needed a new meadowland to feed them. They had moved toward west. So they were originally from Asia but now they were in the middle of Europe. For about 1,000 years, they have lived in the heart of Europe as a nation of Asia. They accepted the Christianity as a state religion. So we can say Hungary is a really special nation who have European history and culture as well as a culture peculiar to Asian way of life. A folklore and oral tradition is said to be a crystal to show us the nations' view of life and world. It is so natural to find out the longest and the most special contents in the Hungarian folklore and oral traditions. It can provide us the very Hungarian view of life and world. Adding this, the article was proposed to rediscover the way of life and the people's attitudes inborn in the minds of the Hungarian people. The article also tried to show the background of the time related to the folklore and oral tradition. This approach to detect and look for a common folklore and oral tradition as well as special ones, is to help us to understand the very desirable nature of the Hungarian culture in a well-balanced and whole approach.

Folklore literature and Music share speech. So, There are relation between Folklore literature and Music. The base measuring of the Folklore literature is the same. But the realization is differ from many Folklore literatures separately. Folklore literature and Music provided by the character of the community. Although there are various sounds, Folk song weighty the whole community. Community take shaped by sharing of the linguistic base feature. A Children's Song combined the statute partition and the linguistic partition, musical partition. Especially musical partition combined which make the difference of the local community arbitrarily. these facts can't make clear the difference of the local community But Shaman song can make clear the local difference clearly. Because Shaman song performed by expert who religious service, These difference was happened. In spite of the same kind of Folklore literature, The performing subject can change the detail genre of the Folklore literatures. 구비문학과 음악은 말이라는 기본 자질을 공유한다. 그래서 구비문학과 음악은 깊은 관련성을 갖는다. 기저 자질이 일치하나 이러한 기저 자질의 실현 양상은 구비문학의 갈래에 따라서 전혀 다르게 나타난다. 구비문학과 음악은 공동체의 상정 여하에 따라서 다양하게 구성되는 특징이 있음이 증명되었다. 소리가 다양하나 민요의 경우에는 공동체 전체가 문제되며, 언어적 기저 자질을 공유하는 것에 따라서 공동체가 상정된다. 동요의 경우에 언어적 분절과 율격적 분절, 음악적 분절이 결합되며, 특히 지역적 차이를 형성하고 있는 음악적 분절이 자의적으로 결합되고 이를 근간으로 해서 지역공동체의 차이를 해명할 수 없다고 본다. 그러나 무가의 경우에는 선명하게 지역적 차이를 해명할 수 있다. 민요와 다르게 무가는 전문적인 사제자 집단이 공동체로 작용하기 때문에 이러한 차이가 부각된다. 동일한 구비문학인 데도 공동체가 어느 집단이 되고 어떠한 갈래인가의 여하에 따라서 차별성을 증명할 수 있으리라고 본다.
