A Study on Female Elementary School Teachers` Job Satisfaction through Volleyball Club Activities

Purpose: This study aims at examining the effects of volleyball club activities on the job satisfaction of female elementary school teachers. In specific, the culture of volleyball clubs and the reasons for choosing the clubs were investigated, and the impacts of volleyball club activities on their job satisfaction were studied in depth. Method: To accomplish these goals, four female elementary school teachers participating in G volleyball club in D metropolitan city were selected as the research subjects, and the data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, field daily records and etc., and was analyzed through classification system analysis and causual chain analysis. Result: First, as for the culture of G volleyball club, the members were found to have strong tie based on cooperation and trust. In addition, equal relationships had been formed between male members and female ones, and among members grounded on a permissive atmosphere. With regard to the criterion of influence, the competence to play volleyball and the existence of a leader were regarded as important. Second, they were concluded to have chosen the volleyball club because of their interest and hobby in volleyball. They usually began to play volleyball due to recommendation from acquaintances, and released their stress through physical activities. Moreover, the volleyball club activities helped them have more self-confidence in instructing students. Third, the volleyball club activities had diverse impacts on their job satisfaction. First of all, they encouraged the subjects to form positive relationships with students, parents of the students, co-teachers and supervisors. Furthermore, they helped them cultivate personalities, such as confidence, a sense of achievement, a sense of satisfaction and sociality. Finally, they were also of help for them to improve their professionality as teachers. They could also get a variety of information on promotion through their volleyball club activities. Conclusion: Sports activities help teachers lead their life as teachers with bigger joy. Especially, for female teachers who should also play the role as a mother, participation in sports clubs becomes energy for their daily life and work, and ultimately becomes the alternative to enhance their quality of life as a mother and teacher. This participation of teachers in sports clubs is being considered as an individual’s choice and hobby, but if it’s regarded only as a personal area, it will be difficult for teachers to continue to take part in sports clubs. A system is necessary to help both male and female teachers to continue their sports club activities. The following suggestions were made for follow-up research. First, this study targets only the mixed volleyball clubs with both males and females, so in the follow-up study, the volleyball clubs consisting of only female teachers need to be investigated.

초등학생의 방과 후 학교스포츠클럽 관여에 따른 인성과 공감과의 관계

본 연구는 방과 후 학교스포츠클럽에 참가하는 초등학생의 인성과 공감의 관계를 분석하여 학교스포츠클럽 참여 가치를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 알아보기 위해 선정한 조사 대상은 서울특별시에 소재한 초등 학교에서 방과 후 학교스포츠클럽 활동에 지속적이고 자율적으로 참여하고 있는 389명의 초등학생을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석과 AMOS 18.0 program을 이용하여 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 자료처리를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 초등학교 방과 후 학교스포츠클럽 참여자의 인성과 공감과의 인과관계를 분석한 결과 인성의 하위요인인 공동체 의식은 공감의 하위요인인 긍정적 공유에 부(-)정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 인성의 하위요인인 자신감 은 공감의 하위요인인 긍정적공유와 정서감염에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 인성의 하위요인인 긍정적 태도는 공감의 하위요인인 정서감염에 부(-)정적인 영향을 미치고 정서개입에는 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 인성의 하위요인인 자기희생은 공감의 하위요인인 긍정적 공유, 정서감염, 정서개입 모두 정 (+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 초등학생들에게 신체활동의 중요성을 일깨워줄 수 있 는 기초적인 자료가 될 것이다. In the recent years, Korean Youth soccer, baseball, basketball clubs have been well developed. In comparison, the Youth Volleyball Club is establishing just the starting steps. Hence the purpose of this study is to find out the constraints of the Youth Volleyball Club and to provide suggestions regarding the activation plan. In order to carry out this Study, 1 Volleyball Associate, 1 International Referee, 1 Volleyball Commentator, 7 KOVO Directors and 4 Primary school teachers were selected for a thorough interview. The cause of restrictive was recognized prior to suggesting the activation plan. As a result, lack of sports facilities and the air of disinterest, the attitude of the participants, professional Instructors and programs and the lack of promotions and cooperation organization rose to surface as the cause of the restrictive for activation of the Youth Volleyball Club. In order to further activate the Youth Volleyball Club, there is a necessity of implementing volleyball equipment and facility expansion, and most importantly the attention from each agency heads or teachers and the parents. Furthermore, the fundamental factor to increase the student's participation is by securing a former volleyball player that can act as professional instructor and to create a modified, unique volleyball program that allows students to have fun. Also, to activate the Youth Volleyball Sports Club, each professional volleyball team should often hold events and amateur tournaments as a promotion to target the people of the hometown. Lastly, it is crucial that the Korean Volleyball Association and KOVO continuously give interest and attention to the Youth Volleyball Sports Club in order for them to overcome the challenges that they currently face.

유소년 배구 스포츠클럽 활성화 제약요인 및 과제

본 연구는 유소년 배구 스포츠클럽의 제약요인을 파악하고 향후 과제를 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 배구협회장 1명, 국제심판 1명, 배구해설자 1명, 대한배구연맹(KOVO) 지도자 7명, 초등학교 교사 4명을 선정하여 심층면담을 실시하였다. 먼저, 유소년 배구 스포츠클럽의 제약요인을 추출하고 그에 따른 향후 과제를 제시하였 다. 그 결과 유소년 배구 활성화의 제약요인으로 스포츠시설부족과 무관심, 참여자의 태도, 전문지도자 및 프로그 램, 단체의 협력 및 홍보부족에 대한 문제점이 지적되었다. 유소년 배구 스포츠클럽 활성화를 위해서는 배구용구 및 시설확충과 각 기관단체장들이나 교사, 학부모의 관심이 필요하며 학생들의 참여를 높이기 위해 배구선수출신 의 전문지도자를 확보하고 학생들이 흥미를 가지고 재미있게 할 수 있는 변형된 배구 프로그램 만들어야 한다. 또한, 유소년 배구 스포츠클럽의 활성화를 위한 홍보 전략으로 각 프로 구단의 연고지역을 대상으로 한 이벤트행 사 및 아마추어대회개최와 대한배구협회와 대한배구연맹(KOVO)의 지속적인 지원과 관심이 필요한 것으로 나타 났다. 이러한 결과는 유소년 배구클럽의 발전을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다. 그들은 왜 배구에 미치는가?: 교육대학교 내 배구동아리활동의 의미

본 연구는 B교육대학교 내 배구동아리원들에게 있어 동아리활동의 의미를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 6명의 배구동아리원들을 연구 참여자로 선정하고 심층면담을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 연구 참여자들에게 있어 배구와 배구동아리는 다른 스포츠, 스포츠동아리와는 차별화되는 특성을 지니고 있었다. 그것은 여타스포츠에 비해 각 포지션에 균등하게 영향력이 분배된다는 점과 성별, 연령 등에 크게 영향을 받지 않는다는 점이었으며 배구동아리가 초등교사 사회에서 전통성을 지닌다는 점이었다. 둘째, 연구 참여자들에게 배구는 무료한 학교생활의 탈출구다. 학교생활에서 배구는 분명 스스로 선택한 활동으로 그들의 무료함을 해소해주고 있었다. 셋째, 배구동아리원들은 멘토이자 또 다른 가족이었다. 배구동아리원들은 서로가 오랜 시간을 함께 하며 배구를 매개로 함께 힘들어했고 함께 즐거워했으며 그런 과정은 배구동아리원들을 가족만큼이나 가까운 사이로 만들었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of volleyball club activities for the club members in B University of Education. For this purpose, 6 volleyball club members were selected as research participants and in-depth interviews were conducted. As a result, first, volleyball and volleyball clubs had different characteristics for participants from other sports and sports clubs. That is, influence is equally distributed across each position in volleyball compared to other sports and it is not impacted by gender or age. In addition, volleyball clubs have a tradition in elementary school teachers' society. Second, volleyball was played a role as a way out of their dull school life. In school life, volleyball was a selected activity and helped them let free of their dull school life. Third, volleyball club members were a mentor and a secondary family. The volleyball club members have been together for a long time, experiencing tough times and joy together with volleyball as a medium, and this process made the volleyball club members as close as family.

배구기사분석을 통한 한국 유소년배구 활성화 방안 탐색

이 연구는 텍스트마이닝을 활용해 KOVO 유소년배구클럽 활성화 방안을 탐색하는 데 목적을 두고 수행되었다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 2015.01.01.부터 2020.01.31.까지 국내 54개 언론사에서 작성한 유소년배구 관련기사를 분석했다. 유소년배구 활성화 방안을 탐색하기 위해 2가지 분석을 수행했다. 1)수집된 기사의 주요 키워드에 대한 의미연결망을 확인하고, 2)배구 전문가를 대상으로 AHP 분석을 통해 주요 키워드에 대한 우선순위를 도출한 후 활성화 방안을 제시했다. 분석을 통해 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의미연결망을 통해 분석된 주요 유소년배구 관련 기사의 주요 키워드는 ‘선수’, ‘유소년’, ‘대회’가 가장 높게 나타났으며 중앙성 분석에서는 ‘선수’, ‘대회’, ‘경기’가 높게 나타났다. SNS의 주요 의사소통은 유소년배구에 대한 프로구단의 지원과 선수, 경기에 대한 정보였으며 유소년배구 미래 발전방안의 대응 전략에 관한 직접적인 내용은 부족했지만, 유소년배구에 프로구단의 투자와 지원, 선수 육성, 대회개최 등의 발전전략을 얻을 수 있었다. 다음으로 의미연결망 분석에서 도출된 키워드를 바탕으로 AHP 분석을 통해 우선순위를 도출한 결과 유소년배구클럽 활성화를 통한 선수층 확대 및 기업의 대회 지원 확대가 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다. AHP 분석을 통해 성인배구 및 프로배구의 활성화를 위한 밑거름이 되는 유소년 배구클럽이 지역성과 연계하여 발전할 수 있도록 KOVO, 협회와 배구 관련 기관의 지원과 유소년 배구클럽의 발전을 위해 프로구단과의 연계성을 강화하고 프로 팀의 코치를 유소년배구의 인력으로 활용할 수 있는 연계방안에 대한 설계가 필요하다는 시사점을 도출할 수 있었다. 또한, 협회주관의 전국적 규모의 유소년리그에 대한 기업지원의 활성화는 유소년배구의 활성화를 위한 중요 요소임을 파악 할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 우리나라가 배구 선진국으로 발돋움하기 위해 기존의 유소년배구의 문제점을 보완할 수 있는 정보 제공과 향후 유소년배구에 대한 투자를 위한 우선순위를 살펴보았다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. The study was conducted with the aim of exploring ways to activate KOVO youth volleyball clubs using text mining. In order to achieve research purposes, we analyzed articles related to youth volleyball written by 54 Korean media companies from 2015.01 to 2020.01.31. Two analyses were performed to explore ways to activate youth volleyball. 1)Checking the semantic network of major keywords in the collected article, 2) elicited the priority of major keywords through AHP analysis to volleyball experts and presented the activation plan. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the main keywords of major youth volleyball related articles analyzed through semantic network were 'player', 'young boy' and 'competition', and in the centrality analysis, 'player', 'competition' and 'game' were high. The main communication on SNS was information about professional clubs' support for youth volleyball, players and games, and although youth volleyball lacked direct information on strategies for responding to future development measures, it was able to obtain development strategies such as investment and support of professional clubs, fostering players, and holding competitions. Next, based on the keywords derived from the semantic network analysis, the priority was derived through AHP analysis, and the most important thing was to expand the number of players and support companies for competitions through the activation of private youth volleyball clubs. Through AHP analysis, the KOVO, association, and volleyball-related organizations support the development of youth volleyball clubs, which are the foundation for the revitalization of adult volleyball and professional volleyball, and the need for design of linkage measures that can utilize coaches of professional club as human resources for youth volleyball was derived. In addition, it was understood that the vitalization of corporate support for youth leagues on a nationwide scale under the supervision of the association was an important factor for the vitalization of youth volleyball. The study is meaningful in that it looked at the information provision that can compensate for the problems of traditional youth volleyball and the priority for future investments in youth volleyball in order to help Korea become an advanced country in volleyball.

The Structural Relationship among CSV, Club Identification, Club Emotion, Club Loyalty for Professional Volleyball Club

The ultimate goal of CSV activities is to increase consumer loyalty to the company, brand or organization concerned. Thus, for a professional sports club, CSV activities will ultimately aim to enhance the loyalty of spectators who are consumers of the club. Subjects of this study are the spectators of professional volleyball. We distributed 300 survey to people who were aware of the club's CSV activities among the home spectators of Hyundai Capital SkyWalkers. Data processing was performed using SPSS 23 and AMOS 18 for the analysis of confirmed factors, correlation analysis, reliability analysis, and structural equation model analysis. From these results, we were able to come up with the social problem resolution and long-term orientation among the CSV activities of professional volleyball clubs which affect the club identification. And the identification formed within the spectators of the clubs through CSV affects the club loyalty directly or through the medium of club emotion. Professional volleyball clubs need to identify the problems the community has in planning and proceeding with CSV activities and seek strategies to address them together, and approach them from a long-term oriented perspective.

교사배구동호회의 하위문화적 특성과 기능

The purpose of this study was to examine subcultural characteristics and functions of teachers’ recreational volleyball club. For the purpose, this study selected 7 participants from a recreational volleyball club(so called Choi-Kang volley) in the Kyungnam area, using a combination of purposive and snowball sampling. Participatory observation and in-depth interview methods were employed to collect data, and text analyses were conducted. The results are followed. First, subcultural characteristics of teachers’ volleyball club show traditionalism, symbolism, and interconversion. The traditionalism means that research participants have upheld the tradition to keep the recreational club for a long time, and the symbolism means that the recreational club members consider new comers’ personalities is more important than their skill levels, make the recreational club more social capitalized through social networks, and regard their club as a representing volley ball club for Kyungnam area. Furthermore, emotional exchanges with family members represent the symbolism of the volleyball club. Second, using the frame of Merton, the subcultural functions of the volleyball club were divided and analyzed into descriptive and latent positive functions and latent negative functions in terms of behavioral intentions and behavioral results. Descriptive positive functions are related to external rewards(skill improvement) and internal rewards(stress relief, a sense of achievement), and latent positive functions are associated with information exchange and the extension of social networks. Conflicts due to differences of skill levels are considered latent negative functions.

코로나-19를 겪는 과정에서 초등학교 배구부 운영 현실과 발전적 운영방안

The purpose of this study is to understand the reality and difficulties of running an elementary school volleyball club in the process of experiencing COVID-19, and to explore future developmental plans through in-depth understanding and their own overcoming process. To this end, in March 2020, in-depth interviews were conducted with three teachers in charge of the volleyball club among elementary school teachers working at an elementary school in Gangwon-do. In addition, observations, documents, and various documents were collected and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, we looked at the volleyball club-related tasks and student guidance and management of elementary school volleyball club teachers prior to COVID-19 in ordinary daily life. Second, in the process of overcoming the COVID-19 situation, you can feel the passion to operate a volleyball club in line with the government's social distancing stage and to operate a situation that has never been experienced before as a teacher in the process of participating in various activities. could Third, in the new preparation, the need to seriously think about the operation of the elementary school volleyball club, preemptively prepare for various emergencies that may be encountered in the future and again, and prepare appropriate countermeasures, was fully recognized. Based on these research results, various programs, contents, and systems related to the operation of the elementary school volleyball club have been developed to prepare for the upcoming future society. It is intended to be provided as a basic data. 본 연구는 코로나-19를 겪는 과정에서 초등학교 배구부 운영에 대한 현실과 어려움을 파악하고 심층적인 이해와그들만의 극복과정을 통해 향후 발전적인 운영방안을 탐색하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2020년 3월 강원도 관내 초등학교에 근무 중인 초등교사 중 배구부를 담당하고 있는 교사 3명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였으며, 이 외에 관찰, 문서자료와 다양한 문헌을 수집·분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평범한 일상으로 코로나-19 이전 초등학교 배구부 담당교사들의 배구부 관련 업무와 학생지도 및 관리에 대해 살펴보았다. 둘째, 코로나-19 상황 극복기에 대한 내용은 정부의 사회적 거리두기 단계에 맞추어 배구부를 운영하고 다양한 활동에참여하는 과정에서 한 번도 겪어보지 못한 상황을 교사로서 노력과 혼신을 다해 운영하고자 하는 열정을 느낄 수있었다. 셋째, 새로운 준비에서는 이번 사태를 계기로 초등학교 배구부 운영에 대해 진지하게 고민하고 미래 시대와 또다시 겪을지 모르는 다양한 비상 상황을 선제적으로 준비하며 이에 맞는 대비책을 마련해야 한다는 필요성을충분히 인식하게 되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 다가오는 미래 사회에 대비하는 초등학교 배구부 운영과 관련된 다양한 프로그램 및 콘텐츠, 시스템이 개발되어 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 초등학교 배구부 운영에 대한 플랫폼 제작에 도움이 될 만한 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다.

결혼이주여성의 배구동호회 참여의미와 한국사회 · 문화 적응과정

The purpose of this study is to examine the process on adaption to Korean culture and society by marriage immigrant women’s participation in volleyball club. And based upon the data from their volleyball club activities, to present the significance of their participation in volleyball club. This study was conducted with subjects who were sampled from U volleyball club members in A province suing sampling method of in-depth interview. We employed in-depth interviews to collect data from 9 research participants, which were analyzed according to 6 levels of qualitative data analyzing methods of creswell(2013). Based upon the result, the following conclusions were drawn. First, significance of marriage immigrant women’s participation in volleyball club can be understood as means of reflecting stress release, health improvement, motivation for adapting to life in Korea, providing employment, formation of personal relations. Second, in the process of marriage immigrant women’s social adjustment, they seem to experience Korean islands culture, empathize difficulties and experience unique Korean culture. Last, Adapting to Korean culture and society through volleyball club activities, they are recognized as Korean volleyball club member and identified as Korean mothers. It also provide solution to conflict with Korean mother-in-law, escape from outsider life and establishment of suitable marital life, which helps good adaptation to Korean society.
