문서 구조정보를 이용한 SGML 문서 편집 시스템의 설계 및 구현

본 논문에서는 SGML DTD(Document Type Definition)의 문서 구조정보를 이용하여 SGML 실례문서를 편집하기 위한 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 위해 문서의 논리구조 표현을 위한 구조 창을 이용하여 SGML 문서를 편집할 수 있어 SGML에 대해 모르는 사용자도 편집오류 없이 문서를 생성할 수 있고 엘리먼트(element)와 속성(attribute), 엔티티(entity)를 지원하는 도구를 이용하여 엘리먼트 등을 손쉽게 수정 가능하고, 생성된 문서를 SGML 파서(parser)를 이용하여 검증할 수 있도록 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한 본 시스템은KS 5601코드를 사용하여 한글과 영문 텍스트를 모두 지원한다. 본 논문에서 설계한 SGML 문서 편집 시스템은 윈도우 사용자 인터페이스를 위해 윈도우95 시스템 환경 하에서 구현하였다. For make use of structure window for logical structure expression of document to SGML document editing without editing mistake of user and easy update the using support to editing process of elements, attributes, entities tools and product document, and valid using SGML parser. SGML/XML에 의한 문서 구조화 및 검색 시스템 설계

현재의 웹 환경에서 HTML은 문서 구조화의 주된 수단으로 이용된다. 그러나 한정된 태크 집합을 갖는 HTML은 문서를 비롯한 다양한 네트워크 자원을 효율적으로 교환 및 검색 하기에는 한계가 있다. 또한 제한된 표현력과 의미론의 부재로 인하여, 자원의 검색과 교환 시에 비효율 적이다. XML(eXtensible Markup Language)는 W3C(Wrold Wide Web Consortium)에서 개발한 인터넷에서 활용할 수 있도록 HTML과 SGML의 기능을 상호 단순화한 서브 집합이다. 도서관 내의 문서의 증가에 따라 인쇄매체의 문서를 디지털데이터로 변환하는 작업이 이루어지고 있으며, 구축된 문서에 대한 정보 서비스 시스템 구축이 진행되고 있다. SGML/XML은 문서 구조화을 위한 언어로서 문서기술의 구현을 위해 정형화 명세인 DTD를 통해 문서 처리가 수행되며, DTD는 문서의 논리적 구조와 물리적 구조의 독립성 유지에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문은 문서의 비구조화 및 시연 중심의 텍스트처리 방법의 해결 방법으로 SGML/XML을 기반으로 한 문서 구조화 및 구성된 문서의 검색 및 접근을 위한 모델을 제시한다. Extensible Markup Language (XML) is descriptively identified as "an extremely simple dialect [or 'subset'] of SGML" the goal of which "is to enable generic SGML to be served, received, and processed on the Web in the way that is now possible with HTML," for which reason "XML has been designed for ease of implementation, and for interoperability with both SGML and HTML. Increasing the printted materials makes needs for structuring documents. It is important to structure the documents generated from the library. SGML is a meta language for document structuring, well designed for document processing by using DTD. In this paper, we design a document service model, the searching and accessing information model of a structured documents based on SGML/XML.

SGML은 문헌 구조화을 위한 언어로서 문헌기술을 위한 명세인 DTD를 통해 문헌 처리가 수행되며, DTD는 문헌의 논리적 구조의 독립성 유지에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문은 디지털 도서관 구축에서 사용되고 있는 비구조화 및 시연 중심의 텍스트처리 방법의 해결 방법으로 SGML을 기반으로한 문헌 구조화 및 구성된 문헌의 검색 및 접근을 위한 모델을 제시한다. The printted materials are converting into digital documents on the basis of the structure of documents, as being increasing in a library. And an information service system is building to provide those converted documents. SGML, a meta language, is designed to process documents by DTD that is a specification for representing documents and is used for keeping a logical structure of documents. This paper presents an information service model for searching and accessing structured documents based on SGML as a solution for unstructured text processing.

This study addresses the design and implementation of Korean SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) editor capable of generating DTD(Document Type Definition)s, which can be used at the same time to generate HTML documents as well as SGML documents using interactive method. HTML is an application of SGML and HTML DTD is defined according to the syntax of SGML. Therefore it is possible to generate HTML documents of any versions by replacing the corresponding DTDs and using the implemented editor. This system has been implemented using GUI such as Motif and UIL(User Interface Language) in X-window system and C-language for common modules of functions.

문서 구조를 기반으로 한 원문정보 서비스 시스템 개발

본 논문에서는 문서구조를 기반으로 한 원문 검색 및 관리 시스템 개발을 위한 설계 및 구현을 기술한다. 이를 위해 디지털 라이브러리의 주요 시스템으로 문서설계및 구현을 기술한다. 이를 위해 디지털라이브러리의 주요 시스템으로 문서자료의 원문저장 및 검색을 위해 원문정보 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 도서관에 소장된 연구보고서, 학위논문, 단행본, 연간물의 각 권호, 연간물 기사 및 기타 문서자료를 대상으로 문서의 구조에 따라 서지사항과 초록, 요약문과 이미지를 저장하고 검색할 수 있으며 향후 XML등의 문서구조화 표현으로 확장 가능하다. The concept of the electronic library or digital library assumes an increasingly predominant and powerful environment of national and international networks, networked information and network navigation tools. Recently, Increasing the DL project and developing systems for servicing document information, Image base management system play the role of the gateway between bibliography system and document management system. We design and implement the image base management system based on document structure. This system allows scan a document into a single or multiple files as user specifies. First of all, we design the architecture to store and search the document structure and printed images. In the second, define the message format for client/server communication based on TCP/IP. The next implement client module and server programs running on windows 95/NT and UNIX based machines. We enhance the image base management system into the document management system based on SGML/XML.

DTD 의존 스키마에 기반한 SGML 문서 저장 시스템 개발에 관한 연구

In various fields of information technology, it is growing up the needs about dynamic content management systems to store and manage SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) documents in a database system. In this paper, we consider the issue of storing SGML documents that having complex hierarchical structure into a database system, and then propose a data model based on ODMG(Object Database Management Group) object model in order to store SGML documents without loss of information. Because the proposed data model reflects physical element structure and logical entity structure of SGML documents, it is able to store the SGML document in a database system at the element- level granularity without any information loss. And also the proposed data model can be adapted among ODMG-compliant object database management systems. Finally, we will discuss on the implementation details of SGML repository system according to our data model. Our SGML repository system supports the functionality of automatic database schema creation for any DTD(Document Type Definition), the functionality of storing the SGML document, the functionality of dynamic document assembly from stored database objects to SGML document, and the functionality of indexing and searching for database objects.

SGML, defined as the ISO 8879, is a meta-language to define a document type, used as basic format for electronic documents. Since an SGML document is composed of a document type definition and a document instance conforms to the definition, it is necessary for SGML document authoring tools to compose and validate document type and document instance. In present, format modes and procedures for SGML documents are not defined, it's not easy to construct such tools. We propose a model of SGML authoring tool consists of SGML parser, document type definition ediotr. SGML document editor and style editor. We also introduce and implement format procedure for each component. For user convenience. we adopted icon based visual programming method, and solved the HANGUL problem. The SGML authoring tool is implement in Windows NT system using Java and C programming language.

DSSSL에 기반한 SGML 표현 시스템 설계 및 구현

본 논문은 SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) 문서를 DSSSL(Document Style Semantics and Specification Language)에 기반하여 포맷팅 처리하기 위한 SGML 문서 표현 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. ISO(International Standard Organization)에서는 SGML 문서의 변환 및 포맷팅 처리의 기술을 위한 표준으로 DSSSL을 제안하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 DSSSL 표준에서 정의한 모델에 따라 시스템을 설계하였고, SGML 문서를 온라인으로 포맷팅 처리하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 시스템은 한글 처리를 지원하면서 임의의 DTD(Document Type Definition), SGML 문서, DSSSL 스타일 시트에 대한 파싱 기능을 가지며, 텍스트뿐만 아니라 표, 목록, 그림 등 다양한 명세 표현을 처리할 수 있는 포맷터를 포함한다. This paper is for the design and implementation of SGML presentation system to format based on DSSSL (Document style semantics and specification Language). ISO proposed DSSSL as the technological standard for formatting and transforming SGML document. So, the body of this paper shows the design of this system in accordance with the model defined in DSSSL. This system, which is able to provide Korean, has Parsing function of arbitrary DTD, SGML document and DSSSL styles sheet, and contains a formatter that can manage various details, such as table, list, picture and others, as well as text.

동적 환경에 적합한 SGML 인덱스 관리자의 설계 및 구현

Since a SGML document is composed of elements, the primitive unit of information, SGML information retrieval should support retrieval on element as well as document. In addition, SGML index organization should support the partial insertion and deletion of document for the dynamic environment. For this, we propose a SGML index organization suited to structured-based retrieval for dynamic environment. Based on the proposed index organization, we design a SGML index manager to support content-based and structure-based retrieval efficiently. We implement the SGML index manager based on O2 storage system and compare the performance of our SGML index manager with the conventional SGML index manager. According to the performance comparison, it is shown that the proposed index structure achieves better retrieval performance that the conventional K-ary complete tree.
