        김환기의 근대기 작품에 나타난 체험과 감각

        It is prevalent opinion that Kim Whan?ki from the 1930s to the early 1940s was an abstract artist. As well known, Kim had strong ties with the avant-garde communities of Japan when he was a student there as well as when back to Korea while producing abstract works. Kim later formed a neorealism community with Yoo Youngkuk and Lee KyuSang, where he seeked the ‘Neo-Reality’. He also reflected his interest in korean tradition and antiques in his work while having made an exchange with artists, poets, and writers who had worked through ‘Munjang’ that is literature magazine. That much of the academic literature on Kim’s paintings from this period have been focused on abstract and avant-garde art and orientalism may be a natural consequence of his historical trajectory as the above. As the advanced researches tell, Kim Whan?ki’s interest is not the departure from an object but the way ‘abstractifying’ an object, while pursuing the abstract art. This study also begins from the premise that the key element necessary for interpreting Kim’s abstract art is the way rather than the concept. I would like to go even a step further to argue that the form and content of the abstract in Kim’s work reflect the artist’s personal experiences and emotional sensations. And I’ll argue that such personal experiences-which exist on the outskirts of Kim’s abstract art-are imbued with a kind of romanticism. To illuminate these points, I analyze the abstract features of Kim’s work that appear as geometrical designs in conjunction with the social atmosphere of the era, and also interpret the artist’s personal experiences reflected in the work through references to articles, photographs, and related written works published in the literary magazines of the day. I attempt to show that Kim Whan-ki’s painting which abstractly portrayed the city and machines-symbols of the most cutting-edge elements of civilization- are not simply a matter of style but concrete expressions of the artist’s existential interpretations of nature, life, and modern civilization. It may seem unusual for an artist who interprets the world through the lens of existentialism to pursue such an abstract style. However, at that time, this is not unusual. This is because the avant-garde discourse in those days was developed in each artist’s personal understanding. The experiences of the 1930s that appear in Kim’s work were personal and everyday experiences of modern civilization, and this is why his artwork includes hints at the modernist emotional connection with urban life. Kim’s nostalgia for the modern lifestyle he experienced during his student years in Tokyo occasionally appears as a landscape that is in turn representational or contemplative. These approach is similar to imagism in literature. Kim Gi-rim, a leading Korean modernist poet, defines poetry as the expression of not the mental but the “real” world in writing. Similarly, Kim Whan?ki’s work is an expression of reality as created through the artist’s memories and experiences.

        여가스포츠 참여대학생들의 각성추구성향이 몰입경험 및 운동지속의도에 미치는 영향

        This study was designed to shed light on the effect of sensation seeking tendency on flow experience and exercise adherence intention in University students’ leisure sports paticipation 283 University students were sampled from Yongin City in Gyeonggido by using convenient sampling method. Results derived from the researches based on the aforementioned methods and data analyses are as follows: First, novelty which is sub factor of sensation seeking tendency had positive effect on all sub factors of flow experience. Second, novelty which is sub factor of sensation seeking tendency had positive effect on exercise adherence intention, but thrill-seeking sub factor of sensation seeking had negative effect on exercise adherence intention, Third, time and space deformation, concentration, action accordance sub factors of flow experience had positive effect on exercise adherence intention.

        아동기 역경경험 생존자의 정서조절곤란에서 치료 매개 변인으로서 감각기반 기억표상과 자비불안

        Clinical interest in adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) has been growing. This study examined sequential therapeutic mediating effects of sensation-based ACE memory representation (S-rep) and three factors of fear of compassion(i.e., fear of compassion for others, fear of self-compassion, and fear of compassion from others) in the relationship between ACEs and emotion dysregulation (ED). After analyzing 512 participants with self-reported ACEs from an online panel who were mainly women, results indicated that the number of ACEs had positive relationships with S-rep, factors of fear of compassion, and ED. ACEs and ED were sequentially mediated by S-rep and each of the three fear of compassion factors. Other than fear of compassion from others, fear of compassion for others and fear of self-compassion were significant only when they were fully mediated by S-rep in the pathway from ACEs leading to ED. This study highlights therapeutic variables related to ED in ACE survivors, suggesting that ACE memory processing is a key component in treatment.

        신체감과 신체적 경험의 문화예술교육적 가치

        The general thesis of neuroaesthetics determines that the aesthetic cognition gives not only the ``brain-happiness`` aesthetic effect which is limited in specific parts of the brain, but also a major influence of vitalizing the entire synapse. Then, what is a universal mark of aesthetics sensation, perception and experience? In this essay, I try to analyze the aesthetic experience to demonstrate the possibility of cognitive aesthetics that is based on human body. The cognitive aesthetics, which is related to human body, are Experimentalism and Enactivism; Experimentalism alleged a physical basis of aesthetics experience and Enactivism showing the mechanism of aesthetic cognition of human body. The Body-Philosophy of Nietzsche and The City-Experience of Benjamin are presented as the philosophical precedents. This essay is another attempt to understand the aesthetic experience and body sensation, as well as to disclose the implicit meaning of ``good and bad sense`` that commonly used in the education field for the arts.

        수상레저스포츠 참여자의 감각추구성향과 몰입경험 및 운동정서의 관계

        This study are designed to determine the influence of sensation seeking propensity of water leisure sports participants on flow experience and sport emotion. Data is collected by a survey way from hobbyists and general participants, who make use of water leisure sports facilities in Seoul mega-city, Gyunggi and Gangwon provinces, however 342 of the surveyed are put into final analysis work. Surveyed data conducted frequency, exploratory factor, reliability, correlation, and multiple regression analyses by SPSSWIN 18.0 package tool and followed by results: First, there are significant correlation between sensation seeking propensity, flow experience, and sport emotion. Second, novelty of sub-factors of sensation seeking propensity influenced significantly on all subfactors( autotelic experience, sense of control, clear goals, loss of self-consciousness, transformation of time) of flow experience. Third, novelty of sub-factors of sensation seeking propensity had significant effect on all of sport emotion factors(fun, dignity, vigor), thrill had so on vigor factor. Fourth, autotelic of flow experience components had significant influence on all of sport emotion factors(fun, dignity, vigor), loss of self-consciousness had so on dignity, and transformation of time had so on vigor.

      • 여행 상품의 경험특성이 태도에 미치는 영향: 감각추구성향과 자기감시성의 조절효과

        사람들의 여가 시간이 증대되면서, 다양한 즐길 거리를 찾고 참여하고자 한다. 그 중에서 여행상품은 일상에 지친 사람들에게 편안한 안식과 즐거움을 제공하는 중요한 경험재 중 하나이며, 그 중요성과 함께 다양한 연구가 진행되었다. 하지만 여행의 경험적 특성에 초점을 맞춰서 진행한 연구는 거의 없다. 따라서 본 연구는 기존에 경험적 소비에서 제시된 경험특성인 유희성, 유익성, 상징성, 공유성이 여행상품에 대한 태도에 주는 영향을 보았으며, 기존 연구를 확장하여 이 네 가지 특성 중에서 유희성과 유익성이 태도에 주는 영향은 감각추구성에 의해 조절되고, 상징성과 공유성은 자기감시성에 의해 조절될 것으로 보았다. 연구결과, 네 가지 경험특성은 여행상품에 대한 태도에 긍정적 영향을 주고 있는데, 유희성이 태도에 주는 영향은 감각추구성이 조절하지만 유익성이 태도에 주는 영향에 있어서는 조절 영향이 나타나지 않았다. 그리고 자기 감시성은 상징성이 태도에 주는 영향만 조절할 뿐 공유성이 태도에 주는 영향에서는 유의한 조절영향이 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과는 여행에 대한 경험적 시각을 부여하고 기존 연구를 확장한다는 시사점을 가지지만, 몇 가지 한계점도 함께 가지며 이는 연구 마지막 부분에 논의되었다. Through reviewing previous studies, we suggested playfulness, symbolism, inter-community, usefulness as experience traits of travel products. Also, we expect that these traits affect attitude toward the travel product and these effects are moderated by sensation seeking tendency and self-monitoring. Survey research is employed to test hypotheses involving experience traits of travel product, attitudes, sensation seeking tendency, and self-monitoring. The previous researches, such as experiential consumption, marketing, leisure, personality, have been referenced to measure constructs. We collected data involving various experiences, and used 171 respondents to analyze these data. We analyzed the data using multiple-regression. Results showed that all experience traits(playfulness, usefulness, symbolism, inter-community) had significant positive effects on attitude. However, the moderating effects of sensation-seeking tendency and self-monitoring were significant for the effects of playfulness and symbolism. In the final section, we discussed several limitations of our study and suggested directions for future research. We concluded with a discussion of managerial implications, including the potential to advance understanding experiential consumption, implying an enhanced ability to satisfy target consumers of these activities.

        라이브커머스 소비자의 감각 추구 성향이 충동 구매에 미치는 영향

        This study aimed to examine the correlation between sensation-seeking propensity and impulsive buying intention of live commerce consumers and to suggest the direction of the live commerce industry. An online survey was conducted targeting young people residing in the metropolitan area using a questionnaire with 4 items on the impulse buying intention scale and 18 items on the sensation-seeking. A simple regression analysis was conducted to examine the effects of thrill and adventure seeking, boredom sensitivity-seeking, and experience seeking on impulse purchases. Thrill/Adventure-seeking and boredom/sensitivity- seeking factors did not have a significant effect on impulse buying, but experience seeking factors did. The results are expected to suggest a direction for live commerce content production and be used for establishing efficient marketing strategies. This study has a limitation in that it analyzed only the sensation-seeking propensity among the variables of impulse buying. It is hoped that a thorough study will be conducted to examine the psychological components of impulsive buying intentions in live commerce.

        뉴트로 브랜드 경험이 소비자 행복과 소비자 공감을 통해 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향-MZ세대의 감각추구성향을 중심으로-

        [Purpose]Consumers increasingly seek diverse experiences beyond material goods, highlighting the growing importance of experiential factors in fostering relationships with brands. This shift has directed consumer attention toward brand experiences as a means of forming deeper connections with brands. In particular, brand experience serves as a potent emotional stimulant, playing a significant role in marketing by bridging the gap between consumers and brands. The global cultural trend of “Newtro” has gained prominence, especially among the millennial and Z generations (MZ generation), who represent a key demographic in today’s consumption patterns. Newtro offers novel emotional and experiential elements to this audience, who place a high value on their emotions and beliefs in their relationship with brands. Through Newtro brands, they derive a sense of happiness and empathy. The novelty of Newtro functions as a powerful tool that influences emotions, enabling the rapid establishment of empathy between consumers and brands. Ultimately, the sense of happiness and empathy derived from such experiences act as robust links that foster strong and deeper relationships between consumers and brands. [Methodology]Covariance structural analysis was performed to analyze the structural influence relationship between variables, and the moderating effect of sensory-seeking propensity was analyzed through the verification of the difference in path coefficients of the structural equation model. [Findings]Therefore, this study empirically examines how brand experiences influence consumer happiness and empathy, focusing on the MZ generation who have engaged with Newtro brand experiences. The findings indicate that brand experience positively impacts both consumer empathy and happiness. However, the cognitive brand experience did not affect consumer empathy. In addition, happiness and empathy were found to have a positive impact on brand attitude, with the influence of happiness and empathy on attitude varying depending on sensation-seeking tendencies. [Implications]In conclusion, this study holds significance as it analyzes the psychological and emotional elements of brand experience along with individual tendencies, offering a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics at play. The findings suggest that brands can transcend mere product consumption to foster profound relationships with consumers, providing a foundational framework for developing corporate marketing strategies. Furthermore, this research is expected to contribute to the fields of consumer behavior and social psychology.

        음악 청취 경험의 표상성에 대한 옹호

        In this paper, I study whether experience of music listening can be representational. ‘An experience is representational’ means that we can try to know whether the experience reflects the world truly. After considering DeBellis’s claim that experience of music is representational, I examine what exactly Peacocke says and argue against it. Firstly, I suggest by drawing an analogy to color argument, Peacocke couldn’t have seen pitch/interval experience entirely sensational. That is, his saying that music experience is sensational does not entail that it is not representational. Although we admit what determines pitch/interval experience is sensation, we need not deny that pitch/interval experience has representational contents, too. Secondly, I agree to Nussbaum's suggestion that the experience of musical space is virtual and representational. Thirdly, grouping should be considered as representational, not sensational. Usually, theoretical music analysis is based on grouping. If listening conforms to the theoretical analysis, this occurs when that analysis comprehends music properly.

        예술로서 시조 체험 교육 연구를 위한 시론 -들뢰즈의 예술론을 바탕으로-

        This paper attempted to discuss the possibility of establishing Sijo experience education as an art form based on Gills Deleuze's art theory. First, John Dewey’s and Maurice Merleau-Ponty's art theories were examined from the perspective of Deleuze's art theory. The educational value of Deleuze's art theory was also derived. Deleuze's art theory is significant because it reveals the unique characteristics of the art experience as “sensory thinking,” provides supplementary measures for constructivist education by acknowledging the involuntary nature of thought, and regards the “body” as a fundamental way of thinking, fostering appreciation for the learner's body. When learners accidentally encounter Sijo, it becomes an artistic symbol that promotes involuntary thinking. The Sijo experience is the learner’s sensory thought process “to become a textual body.” The expansion of percepts and the generation of affects in the process of "becoming" are instances of "de-territorialization," which generates new sensations. Hence, learners can achieve educational growth through the "re-territorialization" process, which explicitly illuminates thought and generates sensations. 본고는 들뢰즈의 예술론을 바탕으로 예술로서 시조 체험 교육의 가능성을 논하고자 하였다. 먼저 들뢰즈의 예술론에 입각하여 듀이와 메를로-퐁티의 예술론을 살피고 들뢰즈 예술론의 교육적 가치를 도출하였다. 듀이는 미적 체험을 ‘하나의 경험’으로 정의하며, 심미적 질성, 질성적 사고, 직접적 감각을 미적 체험을 이루는 요소로 설명한다. 메를로-퐁티는 ‘보이는 것이 보이지 않는 것으로 전환되는 과정’을 미적 체험으로 보았으며 그 요소로 감각적 관념, 몸의 자기반성, 지각을 언급한다. 들뢰즈는 미적 체험을 ‘감각의 사유에 의한 차이의 생성’으로 정의하며 감각, 감각의 사유, ‘신체-되기’를 미적 체험의 요소로 논한다. 들뢰즈의 예술론은 예술 체험의 고유한 특성을 ‘감각의 사유’로 명확히 밝혔다는 점, 사유의 비자발성에 주목하여 구성주의 교육의 보완책을 제공한다는 점, ‘신체’를 근원적 사유방식으로서 주목하여 학습자의 몸을 감상의 중심에 가져오고 동적인 교실 수업으로 이행할 수 있다는 점, 새로운 감각의 생성을 통해 학습자의 주관적 한계를 넘어서는 도약적 성장을 이룰 수 있다는 점에서 교육적 의의가 있다. 시조와 학습자의 우연한 마주침이 실재적으로 일어날 때 시조는 비자발적 사유를 촉진하는 예술적 기호를 발산한다. 시조 체험은 학습자의 ‘텍스트 신체-되기’를 통한 감각의 사유 과정이다. ‘-되기’의 과정에서 이루어진 지각의 확장과 정서의 생성은 새로운 감각의 생성으로 ‘탈영토화’의 과정이며, 감각의 사유와 감각의 생성을 명시적으로 조명해보는 ‘재영토화’ 과정을 통해 학습자의 교육적 성장이 이루어질 수 있다.
