The purpose of this study is to evaluate the differences of visual image on variations in the shoulder strap and length of the one piece swimsuit. Nine samples were examined: 3 variations of the shoulder strap and 3 variations of the swimsuit length. Data have been obtained from 90 fashion design majors and analyzed using Factor Analysis, Anova, Scheffe`s Test and the MCA method. The results of the study are as follows: 1) The visual image, according to changes in the shoulder strap and length of the one piece swimsuit, was composed of attraction factor and boldness factor. Attraction was the most important factor in the one piece swimsuit. 2) The visual images according to changes in the shoulder strap of the one piece swimsuits are ranked in the order of one shoulder strap, strapless and two shoulder straps. They are shown to be wanted to dress - sophisticated image and untidy - unique image. 3) As the swimsuit gets shorter, it has more wanted to dress - sophisticated image and untidy - unique image. 4) The number of shoulder straps and swimsuit length do interact with each other in attraction factor and boldness factor. In attraction factor, one shoulder strap and high cut of the one piece swimsuit has the most wanted to dress - sophisticated image. However two shoulder straps and low cut of the one piece swimsuit has the most not wanted to dress - countrified image. In boldness factor, one shoulder strap and high cut of the one piece swimsuit has the most untidy - unique image. However two shoulder straps and regular cut of the one piece swimsuit has the most tidy - ordinary image.

Socrates' argument for the identity between courage and wisdom and Protagoras' objection to it has been much discussed. But so far no commentators have proposed a satisfying interpretation, nor have they paid due attention to the function of the passages as a major turnaround in the dialogue. Through the analysis of these passages, I show that in his argument Socrates succeeds in refuting Protagoras' claim that extremely ignorant people can be outstandingly courageous but comes short of establishing the identity between courage and wisdom. I also explain that Protagoras in his objection does not misunderstands Socrates' argument but rather raises a serious challenge to the thesis of the identity between courage and wisdom. With these observations I explicate the nature of the passages as a turnaround in the dialogue. Protagoras' objection reveals the limitations of Socrates' previous arguments and sums up the fundamental differences between Socrates' and Protagoras' positions. Socrates is then forced to finish the argument for the identity between courage and wisdom only by way of a long discussion about the impossibility of akrasia (lack of self-control). 『프로타고라스』에서 용기와 지혜의 동일성을 보이려는 소크라테스의 논증과 프로타고라스의 반론은 그동안 상당히 많이 논의되어 왔지만, 아직까지 논증 자체와 반론 자체의 성격에 대한 만족스러운 해석이 제시되지도 못했고, 대화편 전체에서 이 부분이 가지는 전환점으로서의 성격은 거의 주목받지도 못했다. 필자는 이 부분의 분석을 통해서 소크라테스의 논증이 극도로 무식한 사람이 용기 있을 수 있다는 프로타고라스의 주장을 논박하는 소기의 목적은 달성하지만, 용기와 지혜의 동일성을 확립하는 데에는 실패한다는 것을 보인다. 또 프로타고라스의 반론이 흔히 생각하듯 소크라테스의 논증의 성격을 오해하고 있는 것이 아니라 오히려 지혜와 용기의 동일성에 대한 심각한 도전을 제기하고 있다는 것을 밝힌다. 그리고 이를 통해서 이 부분이 대화편 전체에서 대단히 중요한 전환점의 역할을 하고 있다는 것을 밝힌다. 프로타고라스의 반론은 소크라테스가 이전까지 해 왔던 방식의 논증들의 한계를 드러내며, 프로타고라스의 입장과 소크라테스 입장 사이의 근본적 차이를 요약해서 보여줌으로써 이 후 소크라테스가 자제력 없음(akrasia)이 불가능하다는 긴 논의를 거치고서야 지혜와 용기의 동일성 논증을 마무리 짓도록 만든다.

Boldness was the most important factor in the bikini swimsuit. 2) The visual images according to changes in the shoulder strap of the bikini swimsuits appeared the most ① plain and simple image, ② decent and neat image, ③ a wanted-not-to-dress and a natural image in the two shoulder straps, ① unique and complicated image, ② a lively and sexy image in the one shoulder strap and an unnatural but a wanted-to-dress image in the strapless. 3) The visual images according to changes in length of the bikini swimsuits appeared the most ① unique and complicated image, ② a lively and sexy image in high cut, but plain and simple image in low cut. 4) The number of shoulder straps and length do interact with each other in boldness factor: One shoulder strap and high cut of the bikini swimsuit has the most unique and complicated image. However two shoulder straps and regular cut of that has the most plain and simple image. 5) The result of matureness and attraction factors using the MCA, length affects more than the number of shoulder straps in the visual images of the bikini swimsuit.

The purpose of this paper is research that how to Clausewitz figure out the concept of ‘Military Genius’ in On War through analyzing for the nature of war and developing the war theory, and that what is the ‘Military Genius’, and that which meaning and implication is for today. Clausewitz’s perspective in developing for war and ‘Military Genius’ was searching for nature factors in variety and complicated phenomena of war by Montesquieu’s analysis - synthesis method for searching of type of a political structure in The Spirit of Laws. In the flow of history, Clausewitz spread out the logic that borrowing the thought and format from Kant and Hegel through core value of Enlightenment - reason, empiricism, science, universalism, freedom, simplicity of human nature. The concept of ‘Military Genius’ is the outcome that Clausewitz developed the logic about correlation between the appeared genius in war phenomena and unique traits of genius and artist in Kant’s Critique of Judgment. Clausewitz accepted the thought of Kant’s Theory of Genius and Theory of Art and A. Gerard’s opinion. But, Clausewitz explained the mental capacity in his own ward re-interpreting unique trait for Military Genius in war phenomenon that distinguish Kant’s genius in the Theory of Art. The Meaning of Military Genius in On War is that he is the existence of playing a main part for maintaining maximum freedom and balance to element of trinity as the arbitrating exist. And that he play a center part for developing the victorious strategy thinking over all physical and mental elements, passing through the total phenomenon world in war. And he has to dominate the uncertainty through the courage as private mental capacity and a piercing eye(coup d’oeil), determination, equanimity, the power of self-control, sense of topography as supreme commander. And he has to play a center part for victory and implementing the strategy through fostered the total force’s team spirits and demonstrating the fearlessness. Given the implicature for us today by Clausewitz’s On War and ‘Military Genius’ is that we can control and overcome the uncertainty because the uncertainty can’t be eliminated forever. And to the soldier, in commanding war, private mental capacity is the highest value in any war. Furthermore, it’s also very important for military’s team spirit and commander’s fearlessness in war. In addition, it’s very important value today that we have to right understand trinity as the harmony of nature element in war.
