        화장품브랜드의 캘리그래피 적용과 비교분석 연구 : 브랜드아이덴티티를 중심으로

        미디어의 급속한 발전은 소비자들에게 경험의 폭을 넓혀 주어 다양한 시각에서 제품을 비교, 판단 할 수 있게 해주었다. 이런 사회구조 속에서 기업은 소비자에게 기업이 추구하고자 하는 이미지로 인지시키면서 오랫동안 선호하게 되는 브랜드로 만들어 내는 것이 큰 숙제가 되었고, 품질 뿐만 아니라 브랜드 아이덴티티에서의 디자인 측면에서도 단지 제품의 이름을 알리는 것에서 벗어나 소비자의 욕구를 층충족시키면서 감동까지 전해 줄 수 있는 방향제시가 필요해 졌다. 브랜드 로고 디자인은 형태, 색채로 유사제품과 차별화를 주게 되는데, 본 논문에서는 기존 서체에서 느낄 수 없는 자연스러운 표현과 감성전달에 효과적인 캘리그래피가 많은 형태로 다양하게 활용되고 있음을 보여주고자 한다. 전통적인 방식에 현대의 디자인 요소가 접목된 캘리그래피가 화장품 브랜드 커뮤니케이션 표현 전략으로서의 여성용 화장품 브랜드에 많이 사용되고 있다. 특히 로고타입에 개성과 미를 추구하는 젊은 여성들의 소비 심리에 맞게 독창적이고 상징적이며 조형미를 갖춘 형태로 활용되며 기하학적인 선에 의한 현대 디자인으로 표현의 한계성을 극복하는 표현방법인 캘리그래피의 활용이 더욱 기대된다.

        Jehovah's Witness comprise a unique obstetric population. Their refusal of blood stems from an interpretation of a literal translation of the Bible, and it is this belief that puts them at an increased risk of morbidity and mortality if hemorrhage occurs. We report two cases of a Jehovah's Witness who bled massively due to obstetric hemorrhage, refused blood transfusion and had profound anemia. The patients were treated with recombinant human erythropoietin, parenteral iron and oxygen. And they were treated on an intensive care unit with intermittent positive pressure ventilation. We reviewed with literature considering the therapy for acutely anemic patients who refuse transfusion to decrease the duration of the most severe anemia.

      • 아토피 피부염 아동 어머니의 애착 행위

        Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD), known as one of the psychosomatic disorders, is a chronic skin disease challenging to the mother-child relationship and affecting the socio-emotional development of young children. This study aimed to elaborate the unique patterns of mothers`` attachment behavior in relation their children suffering from atopic dermatitis. Methods: Using Q-methodology, the final 50 Qstatements were obtained from the in-depth interviews with the mothers of children with atopic dermatitis; 25 P-samples did the Q-sorting. The PQ method was used for analyzing Q-sort data. Results: Five distinctive types of maternal attachment behavior with their children having atopic dermatitis were obtained: I. Sensitive Affectionate, II. Attentive Concerned, III. Burdened Reactive, IV. Self-assured Responsive, and V. Distant Engaged. These types demonstrate that mothers of children having atopic dermatitis seemingly hold complex and contradictory attachment behaviors toward their children. The derived types were expanded and discussed in terms of both ``Mother``s Attribution to Child Personality`` and ``Devotion to the Atopic Dermatitis Condition``, which delineate the unique and/or shared common themes across five types. Conclusions: We obtained the various type of maternal attachment relationship with their children having atopic dermatitis depending on mothers`` attribution to personality of their children and their devotion to their child``s AD conditions. In caring for families of young children suffering with atopic dermatitis, the delineation of mothers`` attachment behavior with their child based on the five types derived would be beneficial for the health care provider to build an individualized care not only to enhance children``s physical condition but to endorse the secure mother-child relationship, subsequently improve children``s health. 본 연구는 Q-방법론을 이용하여 아토피 피부염 아동 어머니의 애착 행위 유형을 발견하고 유형별 특성을 확인하고 분석함으로써 아토피 피부염 아동을 돌보는 어머니를 위한 간호중재전략의 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 아토피 피부염 아동 어머니 12명과의 심층면담 및 문헌고찰 내용을 바탕으로 Q-모집단을 구성하여 최종 50개의 Q-표본을 선정하였으며 아토피 피부염 아동 어머니 25명의 P-표본을 대상으로 Q-분류를 실시하고 PQ method 방법을 활용하여 결과를 분석하였다. 연구결과 확인된 아토피 피부염 아동 어머니의 애착 행위 유형은 5개로, 자녀의 피부염 상태에 대해 심각하게 인식하지 않으며 자녀에 대한 긍정적 정서 및 애정적 상호작용은 적극적인 민감적 교감형, 자녀에 대한 안쓰러움으로 아토피 피부염에 좋은 온 방법을 시도하며 어머니로서의 역할에 몰입하지만 스스로 자녀에 대해 우울과 불안, 자책감이 많은 몰입형 염려, 아토피 피부염을 앓는 자녀에 대한 부정적 정서가 비교적 강하게 내제되어 있으며 이에 대한 보상으로 자녀에게 과보호적인 허용이 나타나며 어머니 자신의 무력감, 죄책감이 두드러지는 부담과중 반작용형, 자신과 자녀에 대한 태도에 확신이 있으며 자녀의 고유한 특성 및 변화에 대한 민감한 인지 및 애정표현에 대한 반응이 양호한 자신감 반응형, 피부에 대한 자극적이고 센 형태의 접촉을 선호하며 자녀의 요구에 대한 파악의 일관성이 미약하고 자녀와의 거리감 유지를 강조하는 거리두기 지향으로 나타났다. 또한 ``아동성격에 대한 어머니의 인식`` 및 ``자녀의 피부염 상태에 대한 어머니의 노력정도``에 따라 애착행위 유형의 구분이 가능한 것으로 확인되었다. 향후 아토피 피부염 아동 및 어머니의 안정적, 긍정적 모아관계 형성을 도모하기 위해서는 확인된 애착 행위 유형을 바탕으로 모-아 관계평가 및 개별화된 간호중재가 적용되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

        고위험 신생아를 위한 가족중심돌봄과 의료인의 역할

        With an increasing trend toward low birth rates and premature births, the importance of managing the health of high-risk infants has received constant emphasis. It is necessary to establish a family-centered care culture in neonatal intensive care units where high-risk infants are hospitalized. This study is intended to examine the current status of family-centered care and the direction of the role played by healthcare professionals, focusing on the characteristics of high-risk infants and their families. Healthcare professionals should listen to the needs of the family and facilitate their involvement to improve the performance of family-centered care and systematic support. Specific guidelines are required to strengthen the competence and leadership of healthcare professionals. The paradigm shift toward family-centered care for high-risk infants is a challenge for healthcare professionals and parents, but it will serve as a vision and strategy to improve the health of high-risk infants and their families by including the family in the healthcare process.

        비위관 영양 환자의 흡인성 폐렴 발생 실태

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence of aspiration pneumonia and the related risk factors among patients without endotracheal intubation or mechanical ventilation, with nasogastric tubal feeding. Methods: Twenty-two patients administrated in one hospital were participated in this study. A prospective study was done from 27th of August to 10th of November 2013. Results: Aspiration pneumonia was diagnosed in 25.0% of the tube fed patients. The independent factor for incidence of aspiration pneumonia was patient’s body position during tubal feeding. Conclusion: Nurses should be aware of the risk of aspiration pneumonia when they care patients who do not be required endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation, with nasogastric tubal feeding.

        Deletion of Chitinase-3-like 1 accelerates stroke development through enhancement of Neuroinflammation by STAT6-dependent M2 microglial inactivation in Chitinase-3-like 1 knockout mice

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Chitinase 3-like 1 (Chi3L1) plays a major role in the pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases. We investigated the effect of Chi3L1 knockout on stroke development. Ischemia/reperfusion was induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) in Chi3L1 knockout and wildtype mice. Significantly increased infarct volume and decreased neurological deficit scores at 24 h after ischemia/reperfusion were found in Chi3L1 knockout mice compared to wildtype mice. Moreover, ischemic neuronal cell death was increased in Chi3L1 knockout mice through increased oxidative stress and release of IL-6 and IL-1β but IL-10 and IL-4 were reduced. Furthermore, expression of inflammation-related proteins (iNOS, COX-2, Iba-1, and GFAP) was significantly increased in Chi3L1 knockout mice compared to wildtype. In microglia isolated from MCAO-injured Chi3L1 knockout mice, expression of M1 markers (iNOS, CD86, IL-1β, and IL-6) was increased and M2 markers (Arg1, Mrc1, IL-10, and IL-4Ra) was decreased. In BV-2 cells, knockdown of Chi3L1 increased TNF-α- and INF-γ-induced expression of iNOS, COX-2, and Iba-1, but decreased the expression of Arg1, MRC1, and IL-4 receptor-alpha (IL-4Rα). Expression of IL-4Rα, an important factor of M2 polarization, and its downstream signals p-JAK1, p-JAK3, and p-STAT6, was much reduced in the knockout mice. Additionally, in BV-2 cells, knockdown of Chi3L1 by siRNA Chi3L1 decreased rhTNF-α- and INF-γ-induced expression of IL-4Rα, p-JAK1, p-JAK3, and p-STAT6. Furthermore, treatment with AS1517499 abolished Chi3L1 knockdown-induced reduced IL-4Rα and Arg1 but not CD86 expression. Our results indicate that deletion of Chi3L1 accelerates stroke development through enhancement of neuroinflammation by markedly decreasing STAT6-dependent M2 macrophage polarization.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Chi3L1 is important for IL-4Rα expression and phosphorylation of STAT6, affecting micorglial M2 polarization. </LI> <LI> Knockdown of Chi3L1 decrease IL-4Rα, p-JAK1, p-JAK3, and p-STAT6 expression level which blocking microglial M2 polarization. </LI> <LI> Absence of Chi3L1 accelerates stroke development through STAT6 dependent M2 microglia inactivation. </LI> </UL> </P>

      • Performance of Transgenic Three-Genes Expressed Pig for Alzheimer's Disease Model

        Alzheimer's disease (AD) has caused by expression of amyloid precursor protein (APP), Tau and presenilin (PS) as known as plaques and tangle accumulation. AD transgenic porcine model is necessary for preclinical testing of therapeutic agent because of similar metabolic system between porcine and human. The objective of study was to generate AD transgenic pig by somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) with multi-cistronic vector system. AD multi-cistronic vector was 6 well-known mutation on 3 AD related genes, hAPP (K670N/M671L, I716V, V717I), hTau (P301L) and hPS1 (M146V, L286P). Establishment of AD transgenic cell lines was used from Jeju black pig ear fibroblast cells (JB-PEFAD) with the AD multi-cistronic vector. The JB-PEFAD cell was confirmed on mRNA expression, protein synthesis of hAPP, hTau and hPS1 and identification of integration and karyotype. Although fusion rate was no difference in SCNT with JB-PEF AD (SCNTAD) embryos, cleavage and blastocyst formation rates were slightly lower than in SCNT with non-transgenic JB-PEF (SCNTnon-TG). Individual SCNTAD blastocysts were detected hAPP, hTau and hPS1 genomic integration which showed 93.2% (n=30) efficiency in genomic DNA (gDNA) level. It will give us a possibility to develop porcine animal model for AD study in the future.
