성별, 학교적응, 학업수행능력이 초등학생의 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 :잠재성장모형을 활용한 종단분석
김시현 ( Kim¸ Sihyun ) 인하대학교 교육연구소 2020 교육문화연구 Vol.26 No.6
The purpose of this study was to investigate longitudinal changes in self-esteem of elementary school students and to identify the effect of gender, school adjustment, and academic performance on self-esteem by using latent growth modeling. For this, the longitudinal data collected by Korea Institute of Child Care and Education was used. The results of this study were as follows. Firstly, the child's self-esteem slightly has increased and there were individual differences in the initial value and rate of change of self-esteem. Secondly, gender and academic performance had a significant effect on the initial value of self-esteem positively while they had negative impacts on the rate of change. In other words, girls had higher initial values of self-esteem than boys and the higher the academic performance, the higher the initial value of self esteem, while the rate of change has decreased. Furthermore, school adjustment did not significantly affect the initial level and the change of self-esteem. Thirdly, monthly household income as a control variable had a statistically significant effect on the initial value of self-esteem. These findings of this study contribute to in-depth understanding of children’s self-esteem and providing appropriate interventions to enhance self-esteem of elementary school students.
Analysis of current drift on p-channel pH-Sensitive SiNW ISFET by capacitance measurement
Kim, Sihyun,Kwon, Dae Woong,Kim, Sangwan,Lee, Ryoongbin,Kim, Tae-Hyeon,Mo, Hyun-Sun,Kim, Dae Hwan,Park, Byung-Gook ELSEVIER 2018 CURRENT APPLIED PHYSICS Vol.18 No.supp
<P>The mechanism of drift effect in pH-sensitive silicon nanowire (SiNW) ion sensitive field effect transistor (ISFET) is comprehensively studied by measuring the time-dependent drain current (I-D) and the gate capacitance (C-G) under different liquid-gate biases (V(LG)s) and pH levels. It was revealed that the origin of the current drift can be divided into three different mechanisms; the bulk ionic diffusion in sensing insulator, the chemical modification of insulator surface, and the oxide etch process induced by hydroxide (OH-) ion. Based on the V-LG/pH dependency of current drift and the transient C-G variation, it is clearly recognized that the drift of n-type SiNW (n-SiNW) ISFET results from H+ thorn diffusion in the insulator, whereas that of p-type SiNW (p-SiNW) ISFET is caused by temporal chemical modification (hydration) of the insulator, along with the oxide thickness (t(ox)) reduction by OH- ions. This paper reads Mary Rowlandson’s A True History of the Captivity and Restoration of Mrs. Mary Rowlandson (1682) as a model representation of female selfhood in captivity negotiated through economic and cultural terms. Most research on this work has focused on its religious significance by showing how the suffering captive can return to God through his providence. My reading pays closer attention to Rowlandson’s depiction of her autonomous identity established as she witnesses multiple deaths of captives, engages in Native economies in bartering for food, and participates in Native American culture for nearly three months. I begin the paper by contextualizing the historically characterized conception of womanhood in the seventeenth century, where the woman’s role is formulated primarily in relation to familiar and social roles such as mother, daughter, wife and mistress. However, in the captive condition, Rowlandson is able to establish her own autonomous selfhood outside of the context of a socially given identity. As a captive, she is able to act out the roles of skilled craftsman, friendly neighbor and resourceful trader. By reading the captive narrative through the prism of negotiation, we can understand how skillfully Rowlandson is able to construct her selfhood in ways that society and community did not endorse in her times
Keats’s Poetic Maturity in “To Autumn”
Sihyun Kim Ewha Institute of English and American Studies 2017 Journal of English and American studies Vol.15 No.2
This paper reads John Keats’s “To Autumn” as a model of the High Romantic triadic scheme which incorporates unity, division, and regained unity to achieve a work of poetic maturity. Most research on this poem has focused on its structure, images, and the theme of loss and fulfillment. I read Keats’s acceptance of mortality as a young ambitious poet as an indication of his poetic maturity or Bildung in “To Autumn.” I first contextualize the theme of poetic maturity through a parallel reading of William Wordsworth’s The Prelude, which not only shares the triadic scheme but also shares the theme of growth of the mind in nature. Keats embraces transience at the moment of his poetic fruition, and he recognizes the consciousness to maturity of self by suggesting that the end of life has its own meaning. Although Keats tries to flee from the suffering of life into the permanence of nature or the arts in his other odes, he confronts and accepts the actuality of his life along with the flow of autumnal season. Through reading “To Autumn” through the prism of Bildung, we can understand how delicately the poem’s central trope of nature is interwoven with the trope of the growth of the human mind.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of real-time visual bio-feedback during walking on the symmetry of the elderly gait. The subjects of this study were 16 elderly men (80.3 ± 4.6 years, 163.0 ± 4.7 cm, 64.7 ± 9.4 kg). They were asked to walk on a treadmill at the preferred speed, and later biofeedback was provided so that the subject could visually confirm the vertical ground reaction force of the both feet in real-time. The variables include three dimensional lower limb joint angle and bilateral symmetry index. As a result, the ROM of dorsi-flexion and plantar-flexion at the ankle joint was increased in the stance and swing phase after providing the visual biofeedback (p < .05). In addition, the symmetry index of double stance, single stance, ROM of hip AA at stance phase, and M/L COP range were decreased after providing the visual biofeedback (p < .05). The results suggested that the visual bio-feedback provided in real-time may have a positive effect on the symmetrical walking of the elderly. It is warranted whether gait exercise program using biofeedback would have a long term effect in future studies.
