        무 추출물이 식품관련 미생물의 증식에 미치는 영향

        To understand the effect of radish on growth of food born microorganisms, mashedflesh radishes were extracted by using acetone and distilled water. Their effect was assayed by measuring the optical density of cultural broth of food born microorganisms, In the experiment, seven strains of food born bacteria and one strain of yeast were used as the test organism. Acetone extract inhibited growth of the cells of L. plantarum, L. sake and Danmuji film yeast. Growth of the film yeast was drastically inhibited in the concomitant presence of 0.03% extract, while other microbes such as L. faecalis. P. pentosaceus, B. subtilis and E. coil grew by succeeding cultivation for 4 to 8 hours after addition of the extract. Water extract, on contrast to acetone extract, at the concentrations of 0.1~1.5% stimulated the growth of lactic acid bacteria, Culture of L. faecalis and L. sake showed an optical density higher than that of control by 40~50 times. The effect was not so apparent against E. coli, S. aureus and Danmuji film yeast.

        A system that designed and implemented in this paper was composed of database system, online survey system, OLAP system, and online report system. Data of this system put in online survey system, and summated past saved database data. And OLAP system analyzed input data. Online report system prints output at real time that composed of basic information(tables and graphs etc.) for policy determine. All system operate on WWW. Also this data are using in high class statistics program.

      • 비동기 카오스 비밀통신의 변복조 기술평가

        During the past five years, there has been tremendous interest worldwide in the possibility of exploiting chaos in wideband communication systems. Many different demodulation techniques have been proposed up to date. They can be divided into two basic categories. In the first approach, like the conventional coherent demodulation techniques, the chaotic signal has to be recovered from the received noisy signal by synchronization. However, the chaotic synchronization techniques published to data are so sensitive to the channel noise and distortion that these techniques can not be used in radio communications. In the second approach, the demodulation is carried out nonsynchronization. This paper surveys the different chaotic communication techniques that can be implemented nonsynchronization and compares the threshold and BER of the different methods. Finally, FM-DCSK is introduced the first step for apply to wideband chaos digital CDMA, where the data is not limited by the inherent nonperiodic property of the chaotic signal.

        돈육의 위생화와 품질보존을 위한 감마선 조사

        이상의 결과로 돼지고기는 비교적 미생물 오염도가 낮아 1 kGy조사로 저온성 미생물을 제외한 오염미생물의 생육을 검출한계 이하로 감소시킬 수 있었으며 모든 오염미생믈의 살균을 위해서는 3kGy의 선량이 요구되었다. 감마선조사와 저장기간에 따른 일반성분 변화의 경우 수분함량에 있어서만이 저장기간에 따라 다소 감소되었으며, pH 및 산도는 감마선 조사에 의한 영향은 없었으나 저장기간이 경과함에 따라 pH는 증가하고 산도는 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 총아미노산 조상에서는 가장 많이 검출된 것이 glutamic acid였고, 감마선 조사에 의한 영향도 매우 미비하였다. 무기질 함량의 경우 주요 무기질 성분으로 potassium, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium 순이었고 감마선 조사에 의한 조성변화는 없었다. Meat is a perishable product since it offers favorable conditions for microbial contamination and multiplication. Besides, undercooked and raw meat has been linked to outbreaks of hemorrhagic diarrhea due to the presence of microbial pathogens. Therefore, this study was conducted to find out the effect of the use of gamma-irradiation in order to improve preservation and eliminate this microorganisms. The initial level of microbial contamination in pork was 1.1×10⁴ CFU/g (aerobic bacteria), 5.3×10³ CFU/g (psychrophile), 3.1×10³ CFU/g (coliforms) and 3.2×10³ CFU/g (Listeria), All kinds of contaminated microorgnisms were sterilized by gamma irradiation at 3 kGy. The proximate composition of pork was not significantly changed by irradiation dose and storage period. The pH was slightly increased during storage period and titratable acidity decreased. However, no significant changes in pH and acidity were observed by gamma irradiation. There was no difference in total amino acid content regardless of irradiation dose and storage period. Glutamic acid was detected at high levels throughout the storage period. The major mineral compositions of pork were potassium, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium. No significant difference in the components of minerals were observed by gamma irradiation.

      • Extended-spectrum β Lactamase (ESBL) 음성과 양성인 Klebsiella pneumoniae 혈류 감염증 환자의 임상적 특성 및 예후 비교

        ESBL-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae are resistant to many antibiotics, and bloodstream infections by ESBL-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae are known to increase the treatment failure and the mortality rate, but further Korean studies are required. We conducted this study to test the hypothesis that the clinical outcomes and prognosis amomg patients with bloodstream infection by ESBL-non-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae and by ESBL-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae are different. One hundred forty two patients with a bloodstream infection by Klebsiella pneumoniae were enrolled in this study from January, 2003 to May, 2007 at Chung-Ang University Hospital. Demographic characteristics, the mortality rate, hospitalization, site of infection, underlying disease and source of infection were assessed and compared between patients with bloodstream infection by ESBL-non-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae and by ESBL-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae by a retrospective analysis. Age, sex, site of infection, underlying disease showed no significant difference between patients with bloodstream infection by ESBL-non-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae and by ESBL-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae. But the infections by ESBL-producing organism more developed among patients with longer hospitalization and longer recovery period than the infections by ESBL-non-producing organism, but the motality rate showed no significant difference. The infections by ESBL-nonroducing organism were mostly community acquired, whereas the infections by ESBL-producing organismswere mostly hospital acquired. In intensive care units, the infections by ESBL-producing organism needed significantly longer Intensive Care Unit hospitalization, but the motality rate showed no significant difference.

      • 時變 塔脚 接地抵抗値를 가지는 鐵塔의 過渡 過電壓 特性

        本 論文에서는 送電線路에서 雷擊電流가 大地로 흐를 경우 時變塔脚接地抵抗에 의한 鐵塔의 過渡過電壓特性에 대하여 硏究檢討하였다. 時變塔脚接地抵抗을 갖는 鐵塔을 simulation하고 雷擊電流에 의한 鐵塔의 過渡過電壓을 Nodal Solution Method에 의해 計算하였다. 그 결과로 부터 誘導性塔脚接地抵抗의 上限値를 定常値로 決定할 경우 애자련의 CFO 電壓보다 높은 過渡過電壓을 유발할 수 있고 逆閃絡率을 計算할 때 애자련의 T-V 特性도 고려되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. This paper investigated the characteristics of transient overvoltages on the tower caused by time varying tower footing resistance in the path of lightning stroke current entering earth on transmission lines. The tower with time varying tower footing resistance was simulated and the transient overvoltages on the tower due to lightning stroke current were computed by Nodal Solution Method. From the results, it was found that the determination of the steady state values as a limit of inductive tower footing resistance causes higher transient overvoltages than CFO voltages of insulator strings and V-T characteristics of the insulator strings should be considered for computation of backflashover rate.

      • 고전압 급준펄스의 오버슈트 개선에 관한 연구

        This paper describes very fast rising high voltage pules generation using the traveling wave theory of the transmission line. This very fast rising high voltage pulse generator consists of a charging coaxial cable, a discharging switch, and a terminating resistance. The results of the study show that the rising time of pulses is very fast about 30 [nsec]. The length of the coaxial cable and the charging voltage can regulate the duration and the amplitude or the polarity of the pulse. In addition, rod to plane electrodes are suitable as a short switch and the overshoot of pulse was improved with the larger radius of the rod electrode.

        감마선조사 닭고기의 미생물학적 및 유전독성학적 안전성 평가

        Gamma irradiation (1-10 kGy) was applied to chicken for the evaluation of their microbiological safety and possible genotoxicity. In 3 kGy-irradiated sample, the growth of psychrophile was inhibited about 1.5 log cycles and no cells were recovered in total microbial counts. All kinds of contaminated microorganism were sterilized by 7 kGy-irradiation. Also, irradiation followed by freeze-storage at the same time was very effective in inhibiting bacterial growth. The genotoxicity of 10 kGy-irradiated chicken was evaluated by Salmonella Typhimurium reversion assay and in vivo micronucleus assay using mouse bone marrow cells. The results were negative in the bacterial reversion assay with S. Typhimurium TA98, TA100, TA1535, and TA1539. Clastogenic effects were not shown in vivo mouse micronucleus assay at 10 kGy-dose tested.

        Satellite-Pulse Technique(SPT)를 이용한 결함의 크기측정

        소위Satellite-Pulse Technique(SPT)을 이용하여 인공결함의 크기를 측정하였다. 측정치와 실제치를 비교하였는바 오차는 무시할 정도이었다. Sizing of artificial flaws is accomplished by ultrasonic Satellite-Pulse Technique(SPT). Negligible error is found.

        시상부위에 발생한 단일성 뇌농양 : 증례 보고 및 문헌고찰 Report of Two Cases and Review of the Literature

        The authors present two cases of solitary thalamic abscess which were intially diagnosed as malignant thalamic glioma. After treatment with steroids and osmotic agents, the patients' clinical conditions improved after two to three days. However, sudden deterioration of consciousness level developed and the CT scan showed acute hydrocephalus with increment of thalamic low-density lesions. We performed extraventricular drainage and obtained CSF containing numerous inflammatory cells. This suggested the possibility that the lesion was a pyogenic abscess. which progressed to ventriculitis, rather than a malignant glioma. Stereotactic aspiration of the lesion confirmed thalamic abscess. These findings and review of previous reports of thalamic abscess suggested that early diagnosis and stereotactic drainage of the thalamic abscess is of primary importance.
