<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this study, rhodium and antimony doped nanorod (RS-TONR) was prepared by a molten salt solid state chemical reaction, and TiO<SUB>2</SUB> nanorod and titanate nanotube (RS-TONR/TiNT) composite photocatalyst was synthesized by a hydrothermal method for different reaction times. The structural and chemical analyses of nanomaterials were performed by FE-SEM, XRD, UV-DRS and surface BET characterizations. The XRD and HR-TEM data confirmed that the as-synthesized material had mixed phase of TiO<SUB>2</SUB> nanorod and Titanate nanotube (RS-TONR/TiNT). The photocatalytic activity of the composite photocatalyst was observed over the degradation of Orange (II) dye under visible light irradiation. Acid treatment and copper loading was conducted to enhance the surface property of RS-TONR/TiNT sample. The formation of TiO<SUB>2</SUB> nanoparticle with anatase phase was observed by TEM and XRD analysis. The TEM mapping data also confirmed that copper oxide nanoparticles were well dispersed on the surface of titanate nanotubes. These dispersed nanoparticles were observed by XPS and STEM characterizations. The higher removal efficiency of Cd<SUP>2+</SUP> ions was observed over the acid treated and untreated Cu3-TNP/TiNT/RS-TONR in the presence of Orange (II) dye. A higher photocatalytic activity of acid treated and Cu3-TNP/TiNT/RS-TONR was simultaneously obtained in the presence of cadmium ions during the degradation of Orange (II) dye.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Rh and Sb co-doped crystalline rutile TiO<SUB>2</SUB> nanorod (NR) was synthesized via molten salt flux method. </LI> <LI> The RS-TONR/TiNT was hydrothermally synthesized for different reaction times. </LI> <LI> Acid treatment was conducted to enhance the surface property of RS-TONR/TiNT sample. </LI> <LI> Finely dispersed Cu<SUB>x</SUB>O on TNP/RS-TONR/TiNT significantly improves the photocatalytic activity. </LI> <LI> Synergistic effect in photocatalytic performance was studied by Orange (II) dye degradation and Cd<SUP>2+</SUP> ion adsorption. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

직렬로 연결 된 다층의 단위전지 집합으로 구성되는 고체 고분자 연료전지의 적층전지는 에서 발생 할 수 있는 단위전지 간 전압손실과 압력구배를 최소화하기 위해 적층전지 내의 단위전지 외에 부품 및 재료를 추가하여 전압손실과 압력구배를 줄이는 방법에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 체결압 구배를 최소화하기 위해 부드러운 층으로 이루어진 외곽부분과 딱딱한 층으로 이루어진 중심부를 가지는 필름을 전류집합체 뒤쪽에 첨가하였고, 분리판과 전류집합체 사이에서 발생 할 수 있는 전압손실을 방지하기 위해 높은 전기 전도성을 가지며, 평활도를 유지 할 수 있는 재료로 구성 된 복합층을 전류집합체와 분리판 사이에 첨가하였다. 압력구배 측정 및 다층전지 성능테스트 중 단전지간 전압손실을 측정하여 기 제작 된 첨가층들에 대한 영향의 정도를 파악하였다.

A case of a 66-year-old Korean male with coldness of both extremity that ruled out another mechanical and endocrinologic problem is presented. He was treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture and herbal medicine - 十全大補湯(Sipjundaebo-tang, Juzentaihoto) and 柴胡桂枝乾薑湯(Sihogyejigungang-tang, Saikokeishikankyouto). We used SF-MPQ grading scale to assess severity of patient's symptom and DITI to measure patient's temperature. After Korean medical treatment, there was improvement in subjective symptom of patient and gap of lower extremity temperature. Korean medical treatment may be effective in treating coldness patients.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of electroacupuncture on heat sensation of the feet of a 61-year-old female patient with restless leg syndrome. Methods: Electroacupuncture was performed at four acupoints (KI3 (太谿), KI6 (照海), LR3 (太衝), LR2 (行間)) selected to reduce heat sensation in both feet. The patient's symptoms were assessed using the VAS (Visual Analogue Scale), the SF-MPQ (short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire), and the IRLS (International Restless Legs Scale). The treatment was performed from April 20, 2010 to April 24, 2010. Results: During five sessions of electroacupuncture treatments, the VAS, SF-MPQ, and IRLS scores improved throughout the treatment period and afterwards. Conclusions: The results suggest that electroacupuncture at KI3(太谿), KI6(照海), LR3(太衝), LR2(行間) can be effective for reducing hot flush in both feet.
RF Magnetron Sputtering 으로 제작된 Co-based MnSbPt 합금박막의 자기광학적 성질

R.F. Magnetron Sputtering 법으로 Co를 base로 MnSbPt 합금박막의 최적 열처리 조건은 $300^{\circ}C$-4시간 이었으나, 종래의 MnSbPt 합금박막의 경우와 같이 수직자화막은 얻을 수 없었다. 보자력은 Co의 두께가 $250\AA$에서 최대를 나타냈으나 약 500 Oe이하로 실용적 측면에서 불충분 하였다. 진공중에서 $300^{\circ}C$ 4시간 열처리한 합금박막의 경우, 700nm의 입사파장에서 약 $0.78^{\circ}$에 이르는 Kerr 회전각을 보이므로 고보자력을 지닌 수직자화막을 제조할 수 있다면 우수한 차세대 고밀도 자기 기록매체로서 유망하다. Magnetic and Magneto-Optical properties of Co-based MnSbPt thin films prepared by R.F Sputtering were investigated. In this study, the optimum heat treatment condition was found to be $300^{\circ}C$-4hours under a $5\times10^{-6}$ Torr, but perpendicularly magnetized thin films could not be obtained. Coercive force showed maximum value of about 5000e at $250\AA$ Co thickness but the value is not enough for practical use of the thin film. Heat treated Co-based MnSbPt thin film shows 0.78 degree of Kerr rotation angle for 700nm of incident wavelength.

A case of a 46-year-old Korean male with post-stroke insomnia that induced by intracranial hemorrhage was presented. He was treated with Transcutaneous electric acupoint stimulation (TEAS) at BL62 and KI6 once per a day for 17 days. We recorded the patient's sleep time and time of asleep, and used PSQI-K to assess severity of patient's insomnia symptom. After using TEAS, there was improvement in patient's insomnia severity and the time of sleep. From the result of this case, electrical stimulation at acupoint can may be effective in treating post-stroke insomnia.
