This paper discusses the 3-level charge pumping (CP) method in planar-type Silicon-Oxide-High-k-Oxide-Silicon (SOHOS) and Silicon-Oxide-Nitride-Oxide-Silicon (SONOS) devices to find out the reason of the degradation of data retention properties. In the CP technique, pulses are applied to the gate of the MOSFET which alternately fill the traps with electrons and holes, thereby causing a recombination current Icp to flow in the substrate. The 3-level charge pumping method may be used to determine not only interface trap densities but also capture cross sections as a function of trap energy. By applying this method, SOHOS device found to have a higher interface trap density than SONOS device. Therefore, degradation of data retention characteristics is attributed to the many interface trap sites.

In this study, the following four species are reported for the first time in Korea: Diplopseustis perieresalis (Walker, 1859), Dolicharthria bruguieralis (Duponchel, 1833), Herpetogramma ochrimaculale (South, 1901), and Omiodes diemenalis (Guenée, 1854). All of the known species were enumerated with their available information including the collecting localities, host plants, illustrations of adults, and genitalia.

목적: 림프종이나 Ebstein Barr 바이러스와 연관된 혈구탐식증후군에서 CHOP 항암화학요법의 치료성적에 관한 보고는 현재까지 거의 보고된 바 없다. 이에 본 연구에서는 성인 혈구탐식증후군 환자에서 CHOP 항암화학요법 뿐만 아니라 etoposide와 corticosteroid 병합요법 그리고 prednisolone 단독 치료의 치료성적을 비교분석하고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 16세 이상의 46명의 성인환자들이 혈구탐식증후군으로 진단되었다. 이들 중 CHOP 항암화학요법 치료를 시행받은 환자 18명, etoposide와 corticosteroid 병합요법 치료를 시행받았던 6명, 그리고 prednisolone 단독치료를 시 행받았던 6명의 환자들이 분석가능하였다. 결과: CHOP 항암화학요법 치료를 시행받은 환자 중 완전관해 27.8% (5/18), 부분관해 27.8% (5/18) 를 보였으며, 전체생존율은 55.6% 였다. Etoposide 와 corticosteroid 병합요법에서는 50% (3/6)에서 부분관해를 보였으나 완전관해는 한 명도 없었다. Prednisolone 단독치료로는 16.7% (1/6) 에서 완전관해와 부분관해를 보였다. 중앙추적기간은 132주 였으며, CHOP 항암화학요법치료를 시행받은 환자에서 중앙반응기간은 아직 도달하지 않았고, 3년 추정 반응기간은 68.57% 였다. Etoposide 와 corticosteroid 병합요법과 prednisolone 단독치료군에서 중앙 반응기간은 각각 3주와 1주였다. CHOP 항암화학요법 치료를 시행받은 환자군의 중앙생존기간 16주, 3년추정 생존율이 40.63%로 etoposide 와 corticosteroid 병합치료와 prednisolone 단독치료군에 비해 통계학적으로 유의하게 높았다(p = O.OO16). 결론: CHOP 항암화학요법은 성인 혈구탐식증후군 환자에서 유용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Old growth and protected-trees are worth history and culturally in Korea. This research carried out to investigate habitat characterization and the vegetative propagation methods of Salix chaenomeloides(100-600 years old trees) in Gyeongsangnamdo Province. It has been preserved in good and grow naturally in area surrounding village(4 trees), riverside(1 tree) and field(1 tree). Cutting from old growth and protected trees was conducted using 10 kinds of bedsoils. It was survived above 93% in all bedsoils. Growth of cuttings is a distinct difference according to bedsoils and tree ages. Growth of cutting was high on CBS, followed mixed bedsoils (VPMP) including vermiculite, peatmoss and perlite. Root collar diameter was difference depend on tree ages and bedsoils. All trees are produced 1 to 4 branch. Root growth of cutting was 20 cm on CBS and VPMP, which is the best shoot growing on cutting. Bedsoil with physico-chemical characteristics of high moisturizing ability, high air permeability, high EC value and slightly acid may be suitable for efficiently cutting propagation of old growth and protected S. chaenomeloides. CBS and VPMP bedsoil are favorable for propagating this species by cuttings.
Static Bending Performances of Cross-Laminated Wood Panels Made with Tropical and Temperate Woods

In this study, for using effectively domestic (temperate) small and medium diameter logs as a wooden floorboard, cross-laminated wood panels were manufactured using domestic larch and tulip woods as a base material for teak and merbau wood flooring, and static bending strength performances were measured to investigate the applicability as the base materials of wooden flooring in place of plywood. Static bending MOE was much influenced by the strength performances of the top layer lamina than that of the laminae for base materials. Bending MOR showed the higher values in tulip wood that was hardwoods than in larch wood that was softwoods regardless of the strength performances of the top layer laminae, and it was found that the values were much influenced by the strength performances of the base materials used in the core and bottom layers. However these values were 1.4-2.5 times higher values than the bending strength of the wooden floorboards specified in KS, it was found that it can be sufficiently applied to the base materials of wooden floorboards in place of plywood.

<P>Dropwort (Oenanthe javanica) has been used for many years for the treatment of inflammatory conditions, including hepatitis. We investigated the protective effects of fermented field water-dropwort extract (FDE) on tert-butyl hydroperoxide (t-BHP)-induced hepatotoxicity in HepG2 cells and carbon tetrachloride (CCl4)-induced liver damage in rats. Pretreatment with FDE prior to the t-BHP treatment of HepG2 cells inhibited cell death and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) leakage in a dose-dependent manner. In addition FDE significantly prevented the increase of hepatic enzyme markers (ALT, AST) in vivo. Moreover, FDE administration for 7 days significantly affected CYP2E1, CYP4A2, and PPARγ gene expressions. CYP2E1 and CYP4A2 gene expression in the liver, increased 2 and 22-fold by CCl4 administration, respectively, was attenuated to normal levels by pretreatment with FDE. PPARγ gene expression, completely blocked by CCl4 treatment, was increased by FDE pretreatment compared to normal control group. Histopathological examination of the livers also revealed that FDE reduced the incidence of liver lesions. Caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid were identified as major constituents of FDE. These results demonstrate the protective effects of FDE against hepatocytotoxicity induced by CCl4 and t-BHP in rats and HepG2 cells, thus indicating the potential of FDE as a therapeutic for acute liver diseases.</P>
