      • 중학생의 역사 드라마 시청이 역사의식에 미치는 영향

        This study is aimed at proposing the specific plans to use history drama lessons through the study on the relations between reality, fascination and involvement that are sub-variables of history drama viewing and middles school students’ historical consciousness, and to raise their historical consciousness by using history drama lessons. In order to accomplish such a goal, the study selected respective 250 middle school students in Daegue and Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do as its subjects, and the surveyed and analyzed findings are obtained as follows. First, it is the result obtained by dividing the subjects’ general characteristics. Fascination and involvement among reality, fascination, and involvement that were sub-variables had a difference in the division by sex. Fascination was shown to be higher in female students while involvement was higher in male students. In addition, as to the region, history drama viewing had no difference in middle school students of Daegue and Gyeongsangbuk-do. Historical consciousness was higher in middle school students of Daegue that those of Gyeongsangbuk-do, while regarding the grade there was no difference in history drama viewing and historical consciousness. Second, it was the result regarding how reality, fascination, and involvement that were sub-variables of history dram viewing affected historical consciousness. With regards to types of history dram viewing, fascination, reality, and involvement significantly affected historical consciousness in order. According to the gender, male students’ reality, involvement, and fascination gave a significant effect on historical consciousness while female students’ involvement didn’t affect historical consciousness, and fascination and reality gave an effect on historical consciousness in order. As to the grade, the first graders’ reality, fascination, and involvement were not related to historical consciousness while the second graders’ reality and fascination except for involvement affected in order. Besides, the third graders’ fascination only affected historical consciousness. Regarding the region, fascination and reality of middle school students in Daegu affected historical consciousness in order while fascination, involvement, and reality of middle school students in Gyeongsangbuk-do influenced historical consciousness. Like this, there was a little difference in the gender, grade, and region, but reality, fascination, and involvement that were sub-variables related to history drama viewing affected historical consciousness, and the higher sub-variables related to history drama viewing were, the higher historical consciousness was. Due to the fact that history dramas had a fictional element, there was a discussion on educational efficiency. However, this study verified the fact that history dramas can be educationally used, instead of deciding whether history drams were true or not. Based on the findings of the study, the effective utilization methods of history dramas in history lessons are suggested as follows. First, the study of historical figures using history dramas is possible. Students can understand properties of characters through re-enactment and empathy, and approach various figures that don’t appear in textbooks. Second, they can raise critical view that is able to divide false and fact of history dramas and use it to the fact learning. Third, it is possible to learn historical terms. By learning unfamiliar and difficult historical terms in advance, they can increase interest in history lessons. Fourth, storytelling of historical materials is possible. Students can make their own new interpretation by constructing various historical materials in a way of history dramas. Fifth, they can use a decoration making of history dramas, a visiting of the set, and a clipping of TV screen capture in various manufacturing studies as materials. Sixth, they can have a mock trial and a role-playing lesson regarding behaviors decisions of history drama figures. Seventh, they can study the public life history through history dramas. 이 논문은 중학생의 역사 드라마 시청이 역사의식에 미치는 영향에 대한 것이다. 역사 드라마 시청과 관련된 하위변인인 현실감, 심취도, 관여도는 성별, 학년, 지역에 따른 차이는 있지만, 역사의식에 분명 히 영향을 미치고 있다. 영향력의 크기는 심취도, 현실감, 관여도 순으로 나타났다. 그렇기에 역사 드라 마 시청과 관련한 역사 수업은 중학생의 역사의식 향상에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 역사 드라마를 시청하려는 의도와 시청하는 동안의 관여도 정도는 남학생의 경우 역사의식에 유의한 영향을 미쳤지만, 여학생의 경우 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나왔다. 학년별로 결과를 살펴보면 모든 학년에서 관여도는 역사의식에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났고, 제일 고학 년인 3학년에서 심취도만이 영향을 주는 것으로 보아 역사 드라마를 시청함에 있어 역사적 사실과 허구를 구별하는 능력이 아래 학년보다 발달하여 현실감의 영향을 덜 받은 것으로 보인다. 역사의식은 대구광역시 중학생이 경상북도 중학생보다 다소 높다. 그리고 실제 사극의 선호도는 퓨전 이나 판타지를 선호하지만 실제 전통사극이 역사의식에 더 높은 영향을 미쳤다. 이것은 현장 교사의 경 험담과 일치한다.

        This paper proposes a new degradation diagnosis method of secondary battery in order to improve a battery economy. In the proposed method, a bad cell is detected by the measurement of DC internal resistance and the battery capacity is estimated by the electric discharge test in a short period of time, which can be used to determine the time to replace the battery. Through the computer simulation and actual experimentation, the proposed method's validity is confirmed by comparing and analyzing the performance. As a result, we show that it is possible to estimate the accurate capacity of secondary battery in a short space of time.

      • Ecophysiology of Seed Dormancy of Three Iris Taxa Native to Korea

        Under the Convention on Biological Diversity, each country has sovereign rights over their genetic resources. Iris setosa Pall. and Iris dichotoma Pall. are native species in Korea, and they are categorized as a endangered species among rare plants. Iris laevigata Fisch. is currently evaluated as data deficient (DD) by the Korea Forest Service. Conservation of any endangered species and sovereign rights about genetic resources requires an efficient propagation protocol. Seed dormancy type of the three Iris species were studied with the aim of establishing appropriate mass propagation protocol. Germination requirements and seed dormancy were determined by incubating seeds under controlled laboratory and open field conditions. Embryos of the three Iris species had to grow before radicle emergence. Differences among the three Iris species were found in the degree of physiological dormancy. Seeds of I. laevigata, I. setoda and I. dichotoma have deep simple MPD, non-deep simple MPD and MD, respectively. Although the three Iris species disperse their seeds at different time(august, September, and October). Seedling emergence occurred at similar time next year because of their different dormancy type.

      • Seed Dormancy and Germination of Caltha palustris Native to Korea

        Caltha palustris is a perennial herb of alpine marshes. Studies about seed dormancy type and germination requirements provide useful information for understanding early life history and propagation protocol of C. palustris. The seeds had an underdeveloped embryo at the time of dispersal. The embryo/seed length ratio must be from 0.22 ± 0.014 to 0.75 ± 0.046 before seeds can germinate. Imbibed seeds of C. palustris were moved through the following two sequences: move A [5°C(12w) → 15/6°C(4w) → 20/10°C(4w) → 25/15°C(12w)], and move B [25/15°C(12w) → 20/10°C(4w) → 15/6°C(4w) → 5°C(12w)]. The seeds had average E:S ratio of 0.64 ± 0.07 and 0.44 ± 0.03 after 20 weeks of incubation at move A and move B, respectively. In seeds of move A, the critical E:S ratio approached after 16weeks of incubation at 15/6°C. Although the embryo growth occurred in move B, it did not reach to the critical length. Seeds treated with gibberellic acid (GA₃) of 0, 10, 100 or 1000 mg·L<SUP>-1</SUP> germinated to 0, 8, 51 and 80%, respectively, at 25/15°C after 4weeks of incubation. Embryos grew at temperatures suitable for warm stratification (15/6°C) after cold stratification. Since GA3 can break physiological dormancy, the seeds have non-deep simple morphophysiological dormancy.

        Seed Germination Characteristics in Duchesnea indica (Andrews) Teschem. Native to Korea

        장미과의 과일 및 관상용 식물은 세계적으로 경제적, 원예적 가치가 뛰어나다. 장미과의 뱀딸기는 관상 및 약용 작물로써 이용가치가 매우 높은데, 증식방법이 마련되어 있지 않은 실정 이다. 뱀딸기의 종자 종자발아 특성을 조사하기 위해 내부형태 관찰, 수분흡수실험, 온도 별 배양, move-along test, GA3처리 실험을 수행하였다. 뱀딸기 종자는 탈리시점부터 성숙한 배를 지닌다. 수분흡수실험 결과, 침지 3시간만에 종자 무게가 초 기무게 대비 100% 이상 증가하였다. 온도 별 배양 실험 결 과, 25/15, 20/10, 15/6, 5, 25, 20, 15°C에서 각각 8주간 배양하였을 때 88, 71, 61, 12, 89, 39, 17%로 나타났다. Move-along test의 T125/15°C(12주)→20/10°C(4주)→ 15/6°C(4주)→5°C(12주)]에서 12주차까지 72%가 발아하였고 T2[4°C(12주)→15/6°C(4주)→20/10°C(4주)→25/15°C(12주)] 에선 20/10°C까지 발아하지 않았고 25/15°C에 도달하고 나서 발아하여 최종발아율은 16%로 나타났다. GA3처리구에선 배양 3주차에 발아를 시작한 반면에 대조구에선 배양 4주차부터 발 아하였다. 따라서 한반도 자생 뱀딸기 종자는 PD로 분류하였다. 뱀딸기속과 Potentilla속 식물은 서로 근연관계이고, 종간의 종 자휴면에 차이가 나타나 종자휴면 특성에 분화가 일어난 것으로 판단된다. Rosaceae is consists of many economically important ornamental plants. Duchesnea indica is a medicinal and pharmacological plant with high economic value if an efficient propagation method could be developed. The seeds have developed embryos. In the laboratory, the effects of move-along, temperature and gibberellic acid were also tested to characterize the type of seed dormancy. The germination of the seeds reached 88, 71, 61, 12, 89, 39, 17% when incubated at 25/15, 20/10, 15/6, 5, 25, 20, and 15°C for 8 weeks, respectively. Also, T1 [25/15°C (8 weeks) → 20/10°C (4 weeks) → 15/6°C (4 weeks) → 5°C (4 weeks)] showed germination at 25/15°C in sequences of move-along test. The seeds did not germinate at 5°C. Under T2 [5°C (8 weeks) → 15/6°C (4 weeks) → 20/10°C (4 weeks) → 25/15°C (8 weeks)] conditions, seed germination percentage was 16% at 25/15°C of T2. The seeds treated with 0, 10, 100, and 1000 mg·L-1 of GA3 and incubated at 25/15°C for 3 weeks germinated to 0, 8, 16, and 17%, respectively. These results suggest that D. indica native to Korea has physiological dormancy seeds. The differences in the seed dormancy in the Duchesnea-Pontentilla clade indicated that seed dormancy traits had diverged.
