황구침법(黃丘鍼法)을 이용한 고혈압 환자의 혈압강하 효과에 대한 증례보고

Objectives: The aim of the study was to investigate the antihypertensive effect of Hwang-gu Acupuncture in hypertensive patients. Methods: We measured the blood pressure of the patients who were admitted in the Oriental Medical Clinic of Brother from 25th November 2005 to 27th March 2006. We included the patients only in case of the systolic blood pressure was over 140mmHg or diastolic blood pressure was over 90mmHg, Twenty two patients were treated by Hwang-gu Acupuncture. In order to evaluate the effect of the Hwang-gu Acupuncture, the blood pressure was measured before and after Acupuncture procedure total 4 times, 10times. Results: There were a significant decrease in the systolic blood pressure and significant decrease in the diastolic blood pressure by Hwang-gu Acupuncture 4 times. The effect of Hwang-gu Acupuncture by measurement time on blood pressure were follows: In a systolic blood pressure was gradually deceased significantly from 1st to 4th but diastolic blood pressure was significantly decreased after 2nd and 4th only. Conclusions: These results suggest that Hwang-gu Acupuncture is effective in decreasing the systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

P2P 프록시 캐싱을 이용한 VOD 시스템의 성능 향상

This paper proposes a new proxy caching scheme of VOD systems in P2P network environments. In our P2Proxy caching scheme, a proxy server is composed of a client group in which each client stores a part of stream receiving from a VOD server into its client buffer. Each streaming part of the clients is equal to a buffer size which is desired at request its hour. A single client receives the request stream from other clients as long as the parts of the stream are available in the client group. Otherwise, the missing parts of the stream which are not in the client group are directly received from the VOD server through another patching channel. In the experiments, we evaluate the performance of our proposed scheme and the result is compared with the existing P2P streaming systems.

Primary intraosseous carcinoma of the mandible

A very uncommon tumor, primary intraosseous carcinoma (PIOC), is a carcinoma arising within the jaw. The definite diagnosis of PIOC is often difficult as the lesion must be distinguished from alveolar carcinoma that may invade the bone from the overlying soft tissues or from the tumors that have metastasized to the jaw from a distant site. A case of PIOC arising in the mandible is presented. The clinical, radiologic, and histologic features are described. This rare lesion should be considered in any differential diagnosis of a jaw radiolucency.

효율적인 미디어 스트리밍을 위한 에이전트와 프리픽스 캐슁 기반의 새로운 프록시 캐슁 전략

With widespread penetration of the broadband Internet, multimedia streaming service is getting popular among users. In the multimedia streaming system, the video server may be far away from users. So, the streaming service has contributed to a significant amount of Internet traffic. Thus the quality of the streaming service is limited by the network bandwidth on the path to the client. To solve this problem, many studies have used the concept of the proxy server. Due to the characteristics of the multimedia data, it is required the sophisticated caching strategy in the proxy server. This paper proposes a new proxy caching strategy for the multimedia streaming service. In proposed strategy, the proxy server caches the portion of the streaming data and the prefix. This strategy reduces the startup delay of the service as well as the network congestion.

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the related factors to dental fear in some adults. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 320 adults in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do from April to June, 2013. Except 14 incomplete answers, data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 program. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects(7 questions), dental fear related factor(18 questions), distrust for dentist(15 questions), and distrust for dental hygienist(11 questions). The instrument for dental treatment fear was Dental fear Survey(DFS) adapted from Kleinknecht and partly modified by Choi. Out of 20 questions, 18 questions were reconstructed and score by Likert 5 scale. Higher score means higher dental fear. Cronbach alpha was 0.959 in the study. The distrust for dentist and dental hygienist was adapted from Choi and reconstructed and score by Likert 5 scale. Higher score means higher distrust for dentist and dental hygienist. Cronbach alpha was 0.937 in distrust for dentist and 0.874 in distrust for dental hygienist in the study. Results: Those who experienced dental pain tended to have dental fear. The reasons for dental fear were as follows; bad breath(2.96 out of 5 points, hereafter represented as of 2.96/5), dental caries(2.88/5), missing teeth(2.87/5) and tooth pain(2.77/5). The distrust for the dentist was the main dental fear in the adults. Conclusions: The dental fear was closely related to gender, experience of dental pain, oral symptoms and distrust for the dentist. As the psychological pain in the patients was mainly influenced by the trustful atmosphere, it is necessary to make the patient easy before treatment.

의무기록사의 직무확대에 대한 인식과 개발에 관한 연구

Owing to the recent introduction of the Computer-based Patient Record(CPR) system, the existing work style of the medical record technicians in korea is requested to change. The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of understanding about job enlargement by the medical record technicians and to esplore the ways to develop the hob enlargement for the medical record technicians. Three hundred and seventy questionnaires were distributed to the medical record technicians who worked in the general hospitals with more than 400 beds in Seoul and four other metropolitan cities. Among them, 253 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. The research tool used is the 91 possible positions for health information manager in which American Health Information Management Association(AHIMA) has presented. In this research, comsidering the new positions that medical record technicians in our country have to develop. The positions that are generally used in Korean medical record orrices have been excluded. The major research outcomes are as follows: First, most of the respondents(96.4%) revealed the necessity of the job enlargement for their new role as medical record technicians. A total of 94.5% said that they would receive the training, regarding the necessity of the job enlargement training. The evaluation of the status of the medical record technicians, in private general hospital in Seoul have rated highly on the job. In addition, those who have better educational background have evaluatde their position highly. Second, those in Seoul and in private general hospital showed higher skills in using the computers. Likewise, those who.have better education had higher computer skills. Third, concerning the recognition on the position of job enlargement of medical record technicians, the most preferred one was a clinical data analyst, followed by health information manager, patient information security manager, clinical research associate and data quality manager. The research result also shows that the higher their education, rank, and computer proficiency are the higher their recognition of the necessity of job enlargement. In conclusion, the deucation and training on job enlargement for the medical record technicians are now highly requested in our country.

雜犬에서 Isoflurane 마취시 Epinephrine 용량에 의해 유발된 부정맥의 비교연구

Isoflurane has been known to reveal relatively stable hemodynamic effects on cardiovascular system. So many anesthesiologist recommand it as the anesthetic choice for cardiovascular surgery. Epinephrine injection for surgical hemostasis during general anesthesia especially exogenous epinephrine injection with halothane & cyclopropane induced the arrhythmias. The author performed the experimental study to evaluate the arrhythmias and cardiovascular effects during 1% isoflurane anesthesia, when diluted solution of epinephrine intravenous injected. Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, Mean Arterial Pressure, Heart Rate, and presence of arrhythmia were measured. 1. Arrhythmias were few and transient in diluted epinephrine concentration increase. 2. SBP, DBP, MAP were increased in diluted epinephrine concentration increase. 3. Heart rate were decrease at systolic pressure peak level.

인터넷 기반 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스 시스템의 구현 및 성능 분석

In this paper, we present the impelmentation and experimental analysis of a real time multimedia service system. The system can play the MPEG video/audio and text caption on the Internet environment in real time. The software feedback mechanism is adopted for client/server synchronization, QoS control. and system adaptiveness. Our experimental study shows that the system performs very well in the Internet environment.

In this paper the functional requirements of a B-ISDN access network based on MAN are investigated . Firstly, criteria of designing access network for the B-ISDN is studied. Secondly, the types of subscribers and their service requirements are defined. Thirdly, various artchitectures of CPNs(Customer Premises Networks) are considered and their characteristics are studied, Finally, the interworking funtions of a DQDB MAN as an access network are investigated.
