        Flexibility has become a key objectives in the design of manufacturing systems and a critical measure of total manufacturing performance. The need for flexibility is increasing due to some environmental change such a changing technical characteristics of the products and the changing nature of market demands. Most importantly, flexibility embodies competitive value for a manufacturer Therefore, the objective of this research is to offer a definition of flexibility as well as proposing a scheme for assessing the value of flexibility, one of the performance measures of manufacturing systems. A new classification for flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) based on a consistent set of definitions which emphasizes the number and characteristics of the material handling devices as well as the configuration of the processing elements is introduced. Within a broad definition of FMS, four specific types of FMS are defined : a single flexible machine; a flexible manufacturing cell ; a multi∼machine flexible manufacturing system, and a multi-cell flexible manufacturing system. The relationships and boundaries between these four types of FMS are discussed. The hierarchical nature of the classification scheme is emphasized.

        Several formerly independent trends including the increasing rate of technological change, the demand for greater efficiency and productivity in R&D and innovaion. In this study, 1) Eight characteristic types of project evaluation models have been developed : economic index models, portfolio models, decision theory models, risk analysis models, frontier models, scoring models, profile models and checklists. Each of these will be critically reviewed and appraised. 2) The describe management process and teciniques(qualitative and quantitative) of R&D project management. 3) The describe performance evaluation fo R&D. Performance evaluation level of R&D have three levels: individual level, research group level, laboratory level. There are development evaluation factors and evaluation routin in each levels.

      • Rhodotorula glutinis의 Glutathione 生産에 關한 硏究 : 培養條件 및 抽出精製 Cultural Condition of Extractrion and Purification of Glutathione

        Results obtained from a series of experiments on cultural conditions of Rhodotorula glutinis for glutathione production, on extraction methods, and on purification of glutathione were as follows. To maximize the glutathione content in the cell mass of R. glutinis, addition of Mg ion by 0.05% and Ca ion 0.01% to the basal medium was favorable. The optimal concentration of methionine added to the medium was approximately 2.5×10^(-3)M. Boiling water extraction at 90℃ for 15 minutes and ultrasonic extraction at 60 kc for 15 minutes were favorable method of extraction. Highest yield was obtained when extracted with ultrasonic treatment and subsquent boiling water treatment. The final recovery rate after purification was increased from 49.3% to 57.1% by addition of sodium gluconate at a 0.02% level.

      • FMS導人의 妥當性 評價 要因 分析에 관한 硏究

        FMS(Flexible Manufacturing Systems) is recognized as a useful approach to meet with multi-product and small-lot-sized production system. Thus, the large-scaled investment is necessary for introducting FMS. It is apparent that traditional capital budgeting methods are not adequate for the justification of FMS. In order to justify FMS, it is required to evaluate all the relevant, economic criteria of introducing FMS, where some of the factors are difficult to quantify. In this paper, two hierarchical factors are proposed : the one is a preliminary factors to study the strategic effect of introducting FMS, the other is a tactical factors to evaluate the economics of alternatives of FMS.

      • 連續裝置의 Spare Parte 交換時期에 관한 考察

        The aim of this study is to remove non-productive and increase the operating time in plant which is very expensive and go into decay fastly. And expecially, it applies to the continuous process. As a result, it is seen that the initial failure of spare parts happen around 150 days and the chance failure around 240 days. Besides, by preventing the operator error which is, as follows; 1. handling and the capacity of the number of repairing persons 2. handling and repairing order 3. theadaptability of handling (Human Engineering) 4. the influence of repair it is believed that the safety and the use effectiveness of plant will be increased. Especially, it is though that because this study is possible to apply to all spare parts and kinds of mchinery, it is used more widely.

      • 慶尙北道 尙州 지역의 植物相

        상주 소권역내 중점조사지역(노음산, 지장산, 385고지)의 일반식물상 및 특정식물 분포를 2005년 5월부터 9월까지 각각 3회 조사하였는데 본 소권역에서 채집된 식물은 총 71과 139속 186분류군이었다. 또한 본 소권역에 분포하는 특정식물종은 5등급은 확인되지 않았으며, 4등급 2분류군, 3등급 9분류군, 2등급 4분류군, 1등급 9분류군으로 모두 24개 분류군이 확인되었다. 각 지역에서 확인된 특정식물 종을 등급별로 나누어 등급별 종수와 등급별 평가점수를 곱하여 합산한 산지별 평가점수는 총점이 106점이고 노음산이 64점으로 가장 높았으며, 지장산 34점, 385고지 18점 순으로 나타났다. 노음산의 일부 지역은 산불의 피해와 인간의 간섭에 의한 산림식생의 변화가 매우 확연하게 나타나고 있으며, 385고지는 대부분 과수원과 농경지로 이용되고 있어 식생이 많이 파괴되었다. 조사 권역에서 발견된 특정식물종 중 4등급에 해당되는 갈사초와 청포아풀은 모두 노음산 동쪽 사면의 해발고도 약 200m 부근의 지장지 주변에서 발견되었으며, 등산로가 대부분 완성되어 있지만 많은 사람들이 이용하고 있지는 않아 위협정도가 높지는 않은 것으로 생각된다. This study was carried out to investigate the flora of major mountains (Noeumsan, Jijangsan, and 385 height) located in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Field collections were conducted three times from April to September in 2005. From the exploration, total of 71 families, 139 genera, and 186 taxa were collected. The flora of surveyed area included 24 taxa as the endangered species. Investigated sites were scored by the number of taxa multiplied by their conservation priority grade. The total scored points of the surveyed area were 106 points. The scored points were listed as follows; Noeumsan (64 points), and Jijangsan (34), and 385 height (18). Carex ligulata var. austrokoreensis and Poa viridula which are the 4th conservation priority graded species, were found at Noeumsan, but these taxa currently seemed no apparent threat.

      • 상악 전돌증 환자의 치험례

        This is a case report of both superior(5mm) & posterior (7mm) repositioning of maxilla. This patient, 25-year old female, was admitted to our Dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with chief complaint of lip incompetence & maxillary prognathism after orthodontic treatment. In this case, we performed Le fort Ⅰ osteotomy and ostectomy of maxillary tuberosity region including the perpendicular plate of the palatine bone. This repositioned maxilla is fixed with miniplate and wedge-shaped corticocancellous bone blocks are grafted between the margins of the upper & lower segments. As a result, we achieved improving appearance & lip incompetence.

      • 樹木園 所藏標本을 中心으로 한 國內 木本 植物의 分布地와 識別에 대해서(Ⅹ) : 노박덩굴과에 대해서 Celastraceae

        樹友표본관(SNUA)에 소장된 표본을 중심으로 정리한 결과 국내 자생하는 노박덩굴과는 3속(노박덩굴속, 사철나무속, 미역줄나무속) 12종이 확인되었다. 섬회나무와 푼지나무는 채집된 표본이 없어 국내 분포에 대해서 확인할 수 없었다. 반면 줄사철나무는 잎의 형태와 동아의 모양이 중국에 분포하는 E. fortunei와 상당한 차이를 보여 변종보다는 독립된 종으로 처리하는 것이 적절하다고 판단된다. 또한, 버들회나무, 좀참빗살나무는 참빗살나무 혹은 좁은잎참빗살나무의 이명으로 판단된다. 본 연구 결과 서해안 경기도 옹진군 대청도와 전남 목포시 유달산에서 채집된 개체는 중국 남부에 분표하는 C. aculeatus Merr.와 매우 유사하여 이종이 국내에 분포하는 것으로 판단되며 이에 대한 자세한 조사를 통해 학명상 문제점이 해결되어야 한다고 판단된다. 본 연구 결과를 중심으로 2속에 대한 검색표와 각 종의 분포도를 제시하였다. To clarify the taxonomy of Celastraceae, herbarium specimens collected from South Korea past fifty years were examined on the basis of leaf, flower, and fruit morphology. The morphological characters showed that three genera (Euonymus, Celastrus, and Tripterigium) with 12 taxa could be recognized. The current study could not confirm the existence of E. chibae Makino, C. flagellaris Rupr. in south Korea due to the absence of specimen at SNUA. On the other hand, E. fortunei var. radicans justified species status as E. radicans Siebold ex Miq. due to the distinctive bud shape and leaf form. Also, a plausible suggestion was that E. trichocarpus, and E. bungiana be recognized as synonyms of E. sieboldianus or E. maackii in Korea. Results from this current study also showed that C. aculeatus Merr. in southern China may be present in western island of Korea. Systematic redicans, E. verucosus and E. pauciflorus as nomenclatural problems should radicans, E. verucosus and E. pauciflorus as well as nomenclatural problems should be clarified and solved. Finally using a key and a limited sample of the T. B. Lee herbarium specimens (SNUA) to all taxa, the distribution maps were provided here.

        FMS의 공구배분법에 의한 가동률 분석

        A completely separated functional FMS(flexible manufacturing systems), or a partly separated functional FMS, should be constructed because a fully functional FMS, where each machine has all of the tools required for processing various kinds of jobs, is superfluous and wasteful in meeting the multiform and changeable demands of comsumers in a flexible manner. The effective methods are presented in this study for allocating the tools to each machine in a two-machine flow shop type FMS to meet the above demands and to maximize the utilization of the FMS. The methods for a completely separated functional FMS having no duplicated tools and a partly separated functional FMS having some duplicated tools are proposed in this paper. Some simulation results clarify that utilization of the FMS by this methods is as high as the fully functional FMS when the number of jobs is large.
