        紅花의 造血作用에 對한 實驗的 硏究

        In order to investigate the haematopoietic effects of Carthami Flos on various experiments were studied. The results were obtained as follows: 1. In the proliferous effect of bone marrow cells, water extracts of Carthami Flos played an important role on the proliferating bone marrow cells compared with control group at low density. 2. The water extracts of Carthami Flos promoted the proliferation of the bone marrow cells into cluster, BFU-E, CFU-GEMM and colony. 3. In the bone marrow cells treated with CTX, the water extracts of Carthami Flos promoted the SCF, EPO, IL-4, IL-6 gene expression, but gene expression of its receptors, c-kit, EPO-R, TPO, c-mpl, EKLF, GATA-1 were not promoted significantly.         연취급 근로자들의 사회 심리적 스트레스와 연노출 지표들간의 관련성

        목 적 : 연취급 근로자를 대상으로 사회 심리적 스트레스 수준을 알아보고 이를 기초자료로 활용하며 사회 심리적 스트레스와 연노출 지표들간의 관련성을 알아보고자 시도하였다. 방 법 ' 1차 연제련업종의 근로자 234명을 대상으로 일반적 특성, 사회 심리적 스트레스, 직업적 특성과 사회적 지지를 문진과 설문지를 통해 확인했으며 연노출 수준을 알기 위해 혈중 ZPP 농도, 혈중연농도, 요중 δ-ALA 배설량, 혈색소, 혈구용적치등을 측정했다. 결 과 : 단일변량 분석결과 혈중 연농도 수준과 직업적 특성에 따른 사회 심리적 스트레스는 유의한 차이가 있었으며 혈중 연농도가 증가함에 따라 스트레스 수준도 증가되는 경향을 나타냈다. 사회 심리적 스트레스와 연노출 지표 및 다른 변수들간의 관련성을 파악하기 위하여 상관분석을 실시한 결과 혈중 연농도만이 사회 심리적 스트레스와 양의 상관관계를 나타냈으며 유의했다. 결 론 : 고농도 연노출의 가능성이 있는 직종인 경우 기존의 연관련 자각증상에 대한 설문조사와 함께 사회 심리적 스트레스 측정도 병행하여 실시하는 것이 연에 의한 건강장해를 조기에 발견하고 예방하는데 필요하다. Objectives : This study was carried out to assess psychosocial distress of lead workers and to examine the relationship between lead exposure indices and psychosocial distress. Methods The study design was cross-sectional and research subjects were 234 lead workers in primary smelting industry. General characteristics, job characteristics and social support were obtained by self-administered questionnaire and history taking. Psychosocial distress was measured using PWI(Psychosocial Well-being Index), a 45-item self-administered instrument. Blood lead(PbB), zinc protoporphyrin(ZPP), δ-aminolevulinic acid in urine (ALAU) were selected as indicators of lead exposure. Results : There was significant difference in PWI according to lead exposure level and job characteristics. The results of correlation analysis showed that PWI was significantly correlated with PbB (r=0.203, p=0.002). Conclusions : Our results supported the association between lead exposure and psy-chosocial distress. The inclusion of psychosoclal distress measurement as a special health examination for lead workers was highly recommended for the effective health manage-ment.

      • 한국어의 의미 분석을 위한 개념 그래프 생성기의 설계

        To generate conceptual graphs for Korean sentences, in this paper, we design the conceptual mapping rules which map each word into concepts and the semantic interpretation rules which are based in Korean sentence patterns to decide conceptual relations. However, the conceptual graphs generated by the semantic interpretation rules semantically are ambiguous because they represent the general conceptual relations between concepts. So, we incrementally build the conceptual patterns which represent semantic restrictions for each word. We, also, design the generator which generates conceptual graphs from the result of syntactic analysis based on the conditional unification.

        山茱萸의 抗알러지 效果에 關한 硏究

        In order to investigate the anti-allergic effects of Corni Fructus extract(CFE) and about the expression of CD23, IgE, it was necessary for it to be activated by anti-CD40, rHRF. We then analyzed it from the flow cytometer. 1. CFE significantly decreased the expression of anti-CD23, IgE. 2. According to inspection of the inhibitory effect of CFE on the cell proliferation of B cells, IgE, IL-4, histamine release of B cells, we found out the following results: CFE reduced cell proliferation of B cells significantly, and reduced the immunoreaction directly in the B cells by the inhibitory effects on the IgE release of B cells. And CFE reduced the immunoreaction directly in the B cells by inhibitory effects on IL-4, histamine release of B cells.

        太子蔘의 造血作用에 對한 實驗的 硏究

        In order to investigate the hematopoietic effects of Pseudostellariae Radix various experiment about hematopoiesis were studied. The results were obtained as follows: 1. In the proliferous effect of bone marrow cells, water extracts of Pseudostellariae Radix played an important role on the proliferating bone marrow cells compared with control group. 2. The water extracts of Pseudostellariae Radix activated the bone marrow cells. 3. The water extracts of Pseudostellariae Radix promoted the proliferation of the bone marrow cells into cluster, BFU-E, CFU-GEMM. 4. In the bone marrow cells treated with CTX, the water extracts of Pseudostellariae Radix promoted the SCF, EPO, IL-4, IL-6 gene expression, but gene expression of its receptors, c-kit, EPO-R, TPO, c-mpl, EKLF, GATA-1 were not promoted significantly. According to the above results, water extracts of Pseudostellariae Radix promoted not only the differentiation of the bone marrow cells into CFU-GEMM which mother cell of erythrocytes, thrombocytes, monocytes and macrophages, but also the differentiation of the bone marrow cells into BFU-E. On the other hand, in the gene expression that have a lot of hematopoietic effects in the early differentiation of haematopoietic stem cells by promoting the gene expression of SCF, EPO, IL-4, IL-6 and so forth. Above results also demonstrates that the water extracts of Pseudostellariae Radix have somewhat meaningful effects in hematogenesis but not sufficient to explain its mechanisms about hematogenesis, therefore further deep studies should be accomplished about its mechanisms.

        蒼耳子의 IC - 2 細胞에 대한 抗알러지 效果에 關한 硏究 ( 2 )

        This study was carried out for the purpose of knowing the effect from anti-allergic action of B cells and the IC-2 mast cells the extraction from Xanthii Fructus(EXF). In order to know the effect of the cytotoxicity from extraction of Xanthii Fructus, we had to examine the safe density of EXF on lung fibroblast cells of the mouse (mLPCs). We also attempted to resolve the relationship cytotoxicity. The effect was on the organization of cytokine gene expression from the increas and divorce of the B cells and allergic acting by EXF, we found it necessary to examine the IC-2 cells and B cells. We examined the histamine release of IC-2 cells by ELISA method, we also examined the effect of EXF on the increase and divorce of the B cells by ^3H-thymidine uptake method. We then analyzed the release of IL-4, IgE and nitric oxide (NO). The results are as follows : 1. EXF did not show cytotoxicity against mLFCs. 2. According to the inspection on the effect on IC-2 cells gene expression by EXF, we found out the following results: EXF reduced IL-4, IL-6, GM-CSF, TNF-α gene expression and histamine release of IC-2 cells. The EXF inhibited signs of inflammation IC-2 cells.

      • Slurry 반응조를 이용한 퇴적준설물내 질소의 생물학적처리에 관한 연구

        The eutrophication control and prevention can be accomplished through removal of the nutrients known as main contributors. However, for the case of lakes and rivers where significant amounts of the nutrients were already entered, there should be a limit on the eutrophication control. Accordingly, it is indispensable to remove the nutrients present in sediments in view of both obtaining water resources and preserving the environment, and, therefore, this study focuses on nitrogen removal among the nutrients in sediments. For nitrogen removal in sediments, nitrification and denitrification were applied as a biological removal process to a slurry reactor available for bioremediation of contaminated soils. With approx. 508㎎/㎏ of T-N concentration in the treated sediments, about 50 % of initial nitrogen concentration was accordingly removed after total 9-day operation of a 10 %-slurry reactor under oxic and anoxic conditions for 4 hrs and 2 hrs, respectively. This means that 25 % of T-N leachates in physical fractions were removed from the sediments through the nitrification and denitrification, and additional 25 % were removed under the same process after extracted from the sediments by a biological mechanism such as organic biodegradation. As a result, 20 % larger nitrogen amounts added were removed after leached from the sediments, which was probably caused by the fact that biological activity was increased by optimization of operating conditions as well as that mineralization and ammonification of organic matters in sediments were elevated by the enlarged population of microorganism after injection of organic C-sources and trace elements. The denitrification was more activated after the injection of organic C-sources and trace elements. The leaching amount of ammonium also increased steeply. The nitrification rate of the slurry reactor was 189 ng N/min·g in dry weight.

      • 자기베어링 런아웃의 적응제어

        자기베어링의 회전정밀도에 영향을 미치는 인자로 PWM 전력증폭기, 위치 센서 등과 같은 자기베어링 구성 장치의 동특성 및 정밀도, 시스템의 정확한 모델링, 제어기법, 런아웃 등이 있다. 본 연구에서는 능동 자기베어링을 제어하기 위해 자기베어링의 PWM 전력증폭기와 회전축을 모델링하고 이를 바탕으로 능동 자기베어링 제어를 위한 PID 제어기를 구성하였으며, 변위 센서의 부착위치 및 회전축의 진원도의 영향으로 발생하는 주기적인 런아웃 요소를 첨가하여 런아웃의 영향을 확인하였으며, 런아웃(Runout)에 의해 발생하는 에러(Error)를 효과적으로 제어하여 자기베어링의 제어 정밀도를 향상시키기 위한 방법으로 기본적인 PID 제어기에 최소평균자승(Least Mean Square, LMS) 알고리즘을 적용한 적응 피드포워드 제어기를 구성하여 자기베어링의 능동 제어에서 발생하는 주기적인 런아웃을 효과적으로 제어할 수 있음을 MATLAB을 통한 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다.

        근골격계질환의 제도적 관리에 관한 연구

        Recently, work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) are one of major issues in occupational safety and health in Korea Main risk factors of WMSDs include manual handling of heavy weight loads, awkward posture, repetitive tasks, prolonged static muscle contraction, and so on. The number of injured workers has rapidly increased and the related regulation was amended to improve the work conditions and environments. And demands for workers' compensation and improvement of work conditions and environment to prevent WMSDs have increasingly been raised. This study focused on managerial system to prevent WMSDs. Literal survey and questionnaire survey were accomplished to propose a management system in Korea for preventing WMSDs.

      • SD Rats를 이용 1-hexene의 흡입독성 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the acute (4 hours) and repeated-dose (6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks) toxic effects of I -hexene on Sprague- Dawley (SD) rats which were treated by inhalation. The results were as follows; I. The median lethal concentration (LC_(50)) was estimated 52,694 ppm (confidence limit 95%; 49,494~55,447 ppm) in acute inhalation. Abnormal clinical signs related to the l-Hexene were not observed with the acute inhalation dose. Gross findings of necropsy revealed on evidence of specific toxicity related to the 1-hexene, II. By repeated inhalation exposure the body weight of male were more or less reduced by the dose of 2,500 ppm and 5,000 ppm compared with control group. However there were no significant variation hematology and blood biochemistry for the exposed rats compared with the control rats. Abnormal clinical signs and gross findings of necropsy related to the 1-hexene were not shown. In conclusion when we exposed I-hexene to SD rats for 4 weeks, 5 days per week, 6 hours per day, the Lowest observed effect level (LOEL) was over 2,500 ppm and Non observed effect level (NOEL) was below 500 ppm.
