        The arcades have been introduced for improving the environment of conventional markets, but thermal discomfort, poor IAQ and fire safety problems were occurred in same arcades because designers do not have proper design guideline for the arcades. The purpose of this study was to compare with two arcades on indoor environment and find design elements that cause for built environment problems. To find the design elements which influence on the environment of the arcade, the field measurements in the arcades were conducted, including temperature, humidity, air velocity, CO/CO2, etc. The indoor environment of the arcade was greatly influenced by the volume of arcade and the ventilation opening.

        견관절의 유착성 관절낭염 환자에 대한 자가신장운동의 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of (a) a self stretching exercise (SSE) maintained below the level of pain with (b) physical therapy (PT) performed without pain limitation in patients with adhesive capsulitis. Methods: Forty-three subjects with frozen shoulder were recruited. Subjects were randomly assigned to one of two groups ? an experimental group (SSE group, n1=18) and a control group (PT group, n2=25). The duration of each intervention was five weeks. We assessed night pains, range of motion (ROM), and shoulder function. Results: Overall, subjects in both groups improved over five weeks (p<0.05). The change in the PT group was greater (p<0.05). Conclusion: SSE carried out under the pain threshold may be used to treat patients with adhesive capsulitis SSE can be prescribed with PT as part of a home program or of group management.

        내용 지식과 쓰기 성취의 관계에 대한 연구

        이 연구의 목적은 주제에 대한 내용 지식과 쓰기 성취의 관련성을 살펴보는 것에 있다. 이에 답하기 위해 이 연구에서는 우선 관련 선행 연구를 검토하는 과정을 통해 주제에 대한 내용 지식은 쓰기 성취에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 쓰기에서 학생들은 자신의 선행 지식과 화제의 영향을 받는다는 것도 확인하였다. 이러한 문제 의식을 바탕으로 이 연구에서는 일반적인 주제에 대한 쓰기 성취와 특정한 내용 지식이 요구되는 쓰기 지식 간의 관계, 내용 지식의 수준과 쓰기 성취 간의 관계, 그리고 성별과 쓰기 성취도의 상호 작용 양상을 살펴 보았다. 연구 결과 일반적인 주제에 대한 쓰기 성취와 특정한 내용 지식이 요구되는 주제에 대한 쓰기 성취는 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 없었으나, 주제에 대한 내용 지식이 많은 집단과 적은 집단 사이에 쓰기 성취에 있어서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 또한 축구에 관한 쓰기 성취별 집단과 성별 사이에 상호 작용이 나타나는가를 분석한 결과 상호작용은 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 학생들의 쓰기 성취도를 평가하기 위한 쓰기 과제는 특정 영역의 주제를 선정하는 것을 피해야 함을 의미한다. 글쓰기에 있어서 주제 변인이 클 경우 학생들의 쓰기 전략을 온전히 평가할 수 없게 되는 결과를 초래하기 때문이다. 또한 학생들에게 글쓰기를 위한 내용 지식을 제공할 때에는 지식과 기능의 구조를 공유하고 있는 절차에 집중하는 접근을 하는 것이 바람직할 것이다. This study focused on the relations between content knowledge and writing achievement. According to the study result, there were no statistical relations between writing achievement of general and specific subjects. However, there were statistical differences of writing achievement by a group with more subject knowledge and group with less knowledge. The result also shows no other interrelations of writing ability and gender: in general, female students showed higher level of writing ability than male counterparts, while any gender with more knowledge about soccer showed higher level of writing ability on the subject. In other words, the level of knowledge about soccer is the biggest factor that affects the writing achievement regardless of gender when it comes to writing on the subject of soccer. The study clearly proves that the level of knowledge about a subject will mostly affect the achievement of writing on any subject that requires knowledge in certain areas. Any large subject variable factors can be turned into some difficulties when assessing the writing skills of students. However, when it comes to writing, the content knowledge is not separated from writing strategy. While content knowledge is highly related with writing achievement, such content knowledge cannot be learned through reading activity only. content knowledge is impossible to be acquired without concentrated learning process. Therefore, while providing content knowledge to students, it is better to focus on process that offers both knowledge and functions.

      • 위장관의 원발성 B 세포 악성 림프종의 재분류와 bcl-2, cyclin D1, bcl-6 및 p53 발현의 의미

        Background and Objectives : In recent years, the REAL (Revised European American Lymphoma) classification provided a new category of MALT (mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue) lymphoma and mantle cell lymphoma in B cell lymphomas. We have analyzed the expression of bcl-2, cyclin D1, bcl-6 and p53 and correlated with the subtypes and histologic grade of primary gastrointestinal B cell lymphoma. Also we investigated the usefulness of immunophenotypic features in diagnosis of low grade B cell lymphoma. Materials and Methods : Twenty-two cases of primary gastrointestinal B cell lymphoma were recategorized in low grade MALT lymphoma, low/high grade MALT lymphoma, high grade MALT lymphoma, and diffuse large cell lymphoma according to the morphological findings. We investigated the expression of bcl-2, cyclin D1, bcl-6 and p53 by immunohistochemical method. Results : The bcl-2 protein expression was higher in the low grade MALT lymphoma than in the high grade lymphoma. The cyclin D1 protein expression was negative in all cases. The expression of bcl-6 and p53 protein was negative in all low grade MALT lymphoma. Conclusion : The results suggest that we can differentiate the low grade lymphoma from the high grade lymphoma by immunohistochemical staining for bcl-2, bcl-6, and p53 protien.

        전자동 수문설계 소프트웨어 개발에 관한 연구

        Manufacturing is characterized by increasing product variety and technical complexity, decreasing levels of demand, expanding global competition and declining profitability of organizations. To survive in such a complex environment, development of the automatic design system into design and manufacturing can be introduced to increase the flexibility and adaptability to markets. This paper presents the development of an automatic water-gate design system that composed of a main program and three modules, and was programmed by AutoLISP language under AutoCAD system. The devel-oped system is capable of generating water-gate design automatically according to input date as customer is requirement.

      • 에너지법을 이용한 2경간 연속곡선보의 해석

        최근 고속도로 교량이나 입체교차로등에 평면곡선보의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 구조적인 복잡함 때문에 곡선교는 휨응력 뿐만아니라 비틀림응력까지 받게 된다. 통상적으로, 곡선교는 휨비틂이론으로 해석되는데 곡선교의 해석에는 ��綢늣염倖�무시한 보이론과 ��綢늣염倖�고려한 보이론이 있다. 본 논문에서는 ��綢늣염倖�고려한 휨비틈이론에 기초를 두고 단순지지 곡선보의 단면력과 변위를 결정하고 에너지법을 사용하여 2경간 연속 곡선보에 대한 탄성방정식을 유도하였다. 또한 실하중을 받고 있는 2경간 연속 곡선보의 단면력과 변위를 구하였다. The use of horizontally curved girder bridge has increased considerably for highway bridge and interchanges. Due to the geometric complexities, curved girder are subjected to not only flexural stresses but also significant torsional stresses. Usually, a curved girder is analyzed by the flexural torsional theory. There are several theories which are available for the analysis for the curved girders ; beam theory ignoring the warping-torsional effects and beam theory considering the warping torsional effects. In this paper, the stress resultants and displacements of simply supported curved girder based on the flexural torsional theory considering torsional warping effects are determined. And elastic equations of two-span continuous curved girder are obtained by using energy method. Also, bending moment diagram, warping moment diagram, torsional moment diagram, shearing force diagram, and deflection diagram of two-span continuous curved girder bridge applying vertical loads and uniform loads are presented.

      • 생물학적 폐수처리시 휴지기간이 처리특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Under recent situation of more stringent effluent regulations, small scale biological process for industrial wastewater treatment has on operational problems, such as highly variable loadings into the system. Especially, the seafood processing industry has difficulties to treat is because of its highly variable organic loading and high saline concentration (>30g/d㎥). High salt concentrations disrupt metabolic functions and cause plasmolysis and/or loss of activity of microbial flora, hence the biological treatment of the saline wastewaters could produce low COD removal efficiency. On the basis of background mentioned above, an appropriate operation of the existing treatment plant is required for stable effluent discharge at even highly influent loading. In this study, effects of long term ( days) idle periods on floc characteristics were investigated in treatment of saline wastewater by SBR. Temporal stop of feeding affects biological activity in the reactors and then floc structures such as size and fractal dimension. After a certain period of reoperation for orgnic activity, the size and fractal dimension of floc start to increase.

      • 염분이 함유된 폐수의 생물학적 처리시 염분농도가 오염물질의 제거에 미치는 영향

        Effects of salt concentration and C/N ratio on pollutants removal efficiencies were investigated in treatment of seafood wastewater by sequence batch reactor(SBR). The synthetic seafood wastewater containing salinity from 3,000 to 10,000 mg/L NaCI and C/N ratio of 2 and 4 was treated by SBR. Removal efficiencies of COD_(Mn), T-N, and T-P decreased with increasing salt concentration, but eventually reached a pollutants removal a platrau. As systems adapted in salts until salts concentration of 8,000mg/L, the time required to reach the pollutants removal efficiencies at steady state was reduced. However, the removal efficiencies of pollutants sharply decreased and the time require to reach steady state was increased as salt concentration rose to 10,000mg/L, Removal efficiencies of COD_(Mn) were higher for C/N ratio of 4 than for 2. Effects of salt on the nitrogen removal were not faster than the organic removal but the time required to the nitrogen removal at steady state was ncreased. The removal efficiencies of phosphorus also were redueed as salt concentration increased, which inhibited the release of phosphorus than the uptake.

      • 용지 호수공원의 수질관리 방안에 관한 연구

        This study was performed for water quality management of Yonggi Lake Park in Changwon City. The results are as follows; The water quality of the lake was deteriorated during summer season because of algal blooming. It was estimated that existing treatment capacity of the lake water was not sufficient to meet the target lake water quality. And so the lake water circulation period, 40 days should be shorten to below 30 days by increasing the treatment capacity. Fountain and air supply facilities for 02 supply and mixing caused rather resuspension of solid settled at the bottom of the lake. It was also evident that the extended detention of water in the lake resulted in water quality deterioration. Consequently it is important to supply high quality water from other sources. Especially lower temperature water had better effect on improvement of the water quality.

      • FET형 반도체 마이크로센서 개발(Ⅲ)

        현재 의료진단, 화학공정의 모니터링이나 환경공학적 감시 및 제어 등의 분야에서 사용되고 있는 기존의 센서는 고가이며 용적이 클 뿐만 아니라 분석시간이 길고 사용하기 까다로운 것 등 여러 가지 문제점이 있다. 또한 측정환경에 영향을 주지 않을 만큼 충분히 작으며 빠른 분석시간을 가진 센서를 필요로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 센서들의 난점을 극복할 수 있는 새로운 형태의 FET형 전해질(electrolyte : H^+, K^+, Ca^2+, Na^+)센서소자 및 분석 시스템, 용존가스(O_2, CO_2)센서의 개발을 중점적으로 추진하였으며, FET형 압력센서, 습도센서 둥의 개별 FET형 센서에 관한 기초연구도 병행하였다. The conventional sensors have many problems such as high cost, large dimension, long analysis time and troublesome handling to apply to the fields of medical diagnosis, monitoring of chemical process and environmental monitoring/control. The main objects of this research are to develope a new FET type electrolyte(H^+, K^+, Ca^2+, Na^+)sensors, analysis system, and dissoved gas(O_2, CO_2)senors that can overcome the problems of the conventional sensors, and parallel basic researches on FET. type sensors such as pressure and humidity are also in progress.
