Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop criteria to evaluate a premedical curriculum to ultimately improve the quality of premedical education. Methods: The first draft of the evaluation criteria was developed through a literature review and expert consultation. The Delphi survey was conducted to ensure the validity of the draft. Results: The final premedical curriculum criteria consisted of three evaluation areas (curriculum development, curriculum implementation, and curriculum outcome), five evaluation items (educational objective, organization of curriculum, instructional method, class management, and educational outcome), and 18 evaluation indicators. Conclusion: There should be further discussion on the evaluation questionnaire and the content for each evaluation indicator with regard to its practical application. Also, a concrete evaluation system, including evaluation standards and rating scales, should be developed.

사회문화적 요인이 출산율 감소와 고령화 진전 속도에 미치는 영향: 국가 간 실증분석

Recently, the change of age structure of population in many countries can be summarized to declining fertility and progressing population aging. Existing literature examined the impacts of the changes on various economic sectors; however, little has focused on the determinants of the speed of declining fertility and progressing population aging. This paper empirically examines whether socio-cultural factors, in terms of social capital and social capacity, affects the speed of declining fertility and progressing population aging. Index of ethnic fractionalization and population density are used for the proxy variables for social capital and social capacity, respectively. In addition, the speed of declining fertility and progressing population aging are measured by both the difference and the change rate of total fertility ratio and elderly dependency ratio between 2005 and 1970. Using 110 cross-country data, it is found that index of ethnic fractionalization and population density appears to be associated with a subsequent decrease in fertility and increase in population aging. 최근 들어 많은 국가에서 출산율 감소와 고령화 진전으로 요약되는 인구구조의 변화를 경험하고 있다. 선행연구에서 인구구조의 변화가 경제에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 다양한 분석이 시도되었지만, 국가 간 출산율 감소와 고령화 진전 속도가 상이한 이유를 제시하려는 실증적 분석은 미미한 수준에 머물러 있다. 본 연구에서는 사회적 자본과 사회적 역량과 같은 사회문화적 요인이 출산율 감소와 고령화 진전 속도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 가용한 110개 국가 간 자료를 이용하여 실증적으로 분석하였다. 사회적 자본과 사회적 역량의 대리변수로는 민족분할지수와 인구밀도를 사용하였으며, 출산율 감소와 고령화 진전 속도는 2005년과 1970년에 측정한 합계출산율과 고령인구비율의 차이 및 변화율을 이용하였다. 실증분석 결과 대체로 민족분할지수가 낮고(즉 구성원 간 동질성이 강하고) 인구밀도가 높은 국가에서 출산율 감소와 고령화 진전 속도가 상대적으로 빠르게 진행된 것으로 추정되었다.

우리나라 우주개발 정부 조직체제 개선방안 연구

본 연구는 우주개발 착수 30년을 맞이하고, 한국형 발사체의 시험발사체 발사 성공을 계기로 우리나라의 우주개발 체제 현황과 문제점을 살펴보고, 향후 우주개발의 효율적 추진을 위한 정부 추진 체제의 대안을 모색하고자 한다. 미국, 프랑스, 일본 등 주요국의 우주개발 추진체계를 행정조직 중심으로 살펴보고, 그에 따른 우리나라에의 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 우리나라의 현황 분석은 우주관련 정부조직, 우주개발전문기관, 연구관리전문기관 등 거버넌스를 바탕으로 하며, 결과적으로 우주청 등 본격적인 논의 필요성을 제시하고 있다. The purpose of this study is to explore the current status and challenges of the space development system in Korea following the successful launch of test vehicle, the Korean space launch vehicle II on the 30th anniversary of space development and seek an alternative to the government organizations for efficient space development future. The study investigates the space development system of leading countries such as USA, France, and Japan with keen focus on the administrative organizations and thereafter draw implications for Korea. The analysis of the existing situation in Korea focuses on governance, such as space-related government organizations, space development agency, and specialized research funding agency. As a result, this study proposes the need for full-scale discussion on building a space agency.

국립중앙박물관 소장 이항복 종가 기증 운보문단 보자기 무늬의 특징과 연대추정

The wrapping cloth with Cloud and Treasures Pattern donated by the head house of the descendants of Lee Hangbok (1556–1618) at the National Museum of Korea underwent conservation treatment for its protection and display. It was then compared with other ancient fabric objects for dating and analysis of the design. The subjects of Cloud and Treasures Patterns of clothing excavated from tombs dated to some point between the birth and death of Lee Hangbok and with Cloud and Treasures Patterns on the covers of Uigwe copies from the same period from the late 16th and 18th centuries were compared. The results of comparison with relics with clear dating are as follows: First, The Cloud and Treasures Patterns on the late 16th and 17th centuries the differences in the proportion between the head and the tail of the cloud among. Second, the Cloud and Treasures Patterns on the covers of Uigwe copies and fabrics excavated from tombs dated no later than the early 1700s share similarities with the Cloud and Treasures Pattern on the donated wrapping cloth in terms of the arrangement and size of designs and the proportion between each portion of the design. Though the study failed to identify the exact use of the wrapping cloth, it was estimated to be produced in early 18th century when the portraits of Lee Hangbok were copied. 국립중앙박물관 소장 운보문단 보자기(증9393) 유물의 전시와 안전한 보호를 위한보존처리를 실시하였다. 이후 보존 처리한 직물 무늬의 시대를 추정하기 위하여 함께 기증 된 이항복(1556-1618)의 17세기 활동시기와 후모본(後模本) 초상화의 제작시기인 18세기의 유물과 비교하여 운보문단 보자기 무늬의 구성과 연대를 추정하였다. 운보문단의 시대 추정을 위해 시대가 확실한 유물과 비교한 내용을 확인한결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이항복의 생몰년(1556-1618)을 기준으로 유사한 시기의출토복식과 의궤의 표지의 무늬와 비교하였으나 운두와 꼬리크기의 비율에서 확연히 차이가 보여 이항복의 생몰년 대에 제작한 직물로는 추정되지 않다고 판단되었다. 둘째, 이항복의 호성공신과 위성공신 초상 후모본의 제작시기인 18세기 운보문단 직물 무늬와 비교한 결과 가장 유사한 1702년 『숙종인원왕후가례도감의궤』 표지의 운보문단이 확인 되었으며, 이외 1730년대까지의 의궤표지와 출토직물에서 배열, 크기, 비율 등 유사한 구성양식을 나타내고 있었다. 보자기의 정확한 용도는 확인 할 수 없었지만 함께 기증 된 후모본 초상화와 유사한 18세기 초에 제작된 것으로 추정할 수 있다.

우주활동과 국제 우주질서에 대한 연구

최근들어 우주분야가 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 우주군과 같은 우주의 군사화가 공개적으로 진행되고 있다. 또 한편으로는 정부 자금에 의한 정부 주도의 우주개발에서 뉴스페이스라고 불리는 민간 자본에 의한 우주상업화가 미국을 중심으로 크게 부각되고 있다. 여기에 미국은 아폴로 프로그램 종료이후 50년 만에 유인우주 달탐사 사업인 Artemis 사업이 추진되고 있으며, 이에 수반하여 우주자원의 상업적 활용이 적극적으로 논의되고 있다. 비약적으로 발전하고 있는 우주기술로 인해 크게 1967년 제정되어 지금까지 우주활동의 규범을 제시해 온 우주조약은 수명이 다해가는지 모른다. 국제규범의 개정은 여러 국가의 이해관계가 반영되어야 하는 쉽지 않은 과정이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 새로운 우주시대를 맞이하려면 우리나라도 이러한 변화를 맞아들이기 위한 다양한 법적·정책적 연구가 필요하다.

한미간 우주정책 체계 비교분석

U.S contains the best technology, man power, and big investment in space. It considers space as not only a science and technology related area, but also as an industry and national security related area. Korea’s space policy focuses on the development of space systems such as satellites and launch vehicles. Space policy systems of the two countries are also different, causing some discrepancy in mutual interest when we talk about cooperation with the U.S. This study introduced U.S space policy framework and compared it with Korea’s policy. It is meaningful in that we can find an effective way of cooperation between two countries. 미국은 우주분야에서 최고의 기술력, 인력, 자금을 확보하고 있는 국가이며, 우주의 영역을 단순한 과학기술 뿐 아니라, 산업, 국가안보와 깊이 연결시키고 있다. 반면 우리나라의 경우 우주정책이 위성, 발사체 등 우주시스템의 개발 위주로 되어 있다. 양국간의 우주정책 체계도 상이하다. 이로 인해 미국과의 우주협력을 얘기하는데 상호이해의 차이가 발생한다. 본 연구는 미국의 우주정책 체계를 소개하고 양국의 우주정책 체계를 비교함으로써, 미국과의 협력에 있어 효과적인 방안을 찾는데 목적이 있다.
