본 연구는 기존의 상용화된 우주발사체의 주요 설계변수를 도출하는 것을 주요 목표로 한다. 발사체로 RocketLab USA의 “Electron”을 대상으로 하였으며 공식홈페이지의 형상과 성능정보를 역설계에 사용하였다. 분석 결과는 Electron 발사체의 실질적인 임무 프로파일과 비교하여 간접적으로 검증하였다. The primary goal of this study is to derive significant design parameters of the existing commercial space launch vehicle. The rocket “Electron” of the RocketLab USA was used for reverse design with its data presented on the official website, such as shape and performance. The result of the analysis was verified indirectly by the substantive mission profile of Electron.

Flow analysis was performed using Fluent to determine flow uniformity of 3 tonf liquid rocket engine propellant manifold. Based on the manifold initial design, the shape of the fuel distribution plate and propellant pipe inlet was changed to improve flow uniformity, and the flow uniformity of the computational analysis results for these initial and modified designs was compared/analyzed. As a result of the computational analysis, it was confirmed that the flow uniformity of the revised design was improved compared to the initial design.
