At present, the development of a detection device in order to prevent accidents due to wire deterioration in the distribution lines is required. Distribution line is not possible to check the internal state in a normal way because it is covered with the coating. Accordingly, various eddy current techniques that is the non-destructive test (NDT) techniques have been applied to solve this problem. In this paper, we have seen examining the characteristic change of the eddy current sensor according to the simplified shape of the sensor in order to solve the problems for the simplified shape that is generated when the simulation for the shape of the eddy current sensor.

Recently energy consumption has been increasing because of advances in the industry, and electrical fires have accounted for 31.9% of all fire accidents. An electrical fire is caused by a short circuit, power surge, or poor contact. Safety devices for short circuits or power surges are currently mandatory and can actually detect problems, but arcing caused by contact failure is difficult to detect in advance. This study used an IR sensor to detect the heat concentration caused by the arc. The data from the low-resolution sensor was amplified as much as four times by interpolation to find the exact location of the heat source and were then investigated.

This study addresses the design and implementation of Korean SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) editor capable of generating DTD(Document Type Definition)s, which can be used at the same time to generate HTML documents as well as SGML documents using interactive method. HTML is an application of SGML and HTML DTD is defined according to the syntax of SGML. Therefore it is possible to generate HTML documents of any versions by replacing the corresponding DTDs and using the implemented editor. This system has been implemented using GUI such as Motif and UIL(User Interface Language) in X-window system and C-language for common modules of functions.

The notation of mathematics equation which is often used in the scientific and technical documents tend to depend on specific system such as TeX and EQN. So, this paper describes an editor to generate automatically mathematics equations conforming to SGML notation which is developed for interchange of textual information made in Wordprocessor or DTP system, and also describes the design and implementation of interactive mathematics equation editor which has error detect facility using Document Type Definition for mathematics equation. As an user interface, a direct manipilation method such as selecting icons of mathematics symbols and on-spot keyboard input has been implemented. This mathematics editor has been implemented in UNIX encironment which include X_window, OSF Motif as a graphical user interface and OSF UIL(User Interface Language) as a tool of designing the menus and screen layout.

Convergence between telecom and broadcasting is today a worldwide phenomenon. Diverse services like VoD, mobile broadcasting, IPTV and interactive services have already made their market debut or are currently being commercialized. Regulatory systems are also being revised to appropriately regulate this new breed of services. We propose the new model of educational broadcasting system using the internet network, it is not different conventional coaxial cable methods. Especially, we design the multicast method of the network using the limited channel and resource, propose the method of intercommunication in the school between the broadcasting system and database system.

Reports have a significant meaning In large transaction environments, such as advanced the information technology and online environment. This is due to the necessity of generating reports within a giventime limit without restraining the operation performance of large transaction environments. In order to generate reports in large transaction environments while sa!isfying time-constrained requirements, this paper proposes a model which combines the incremental operation mechanism and materialized view mechanism using triggers and stored procedures. Further, the implementation and evaluation of the proposed model provides the identification of the characteristics of the proposed model. 정보화 및 온라인화의 발전에 따라 대규모 트랜잭션 환경에서 보고서의 의미는 특별하다. 이는 대규모 트랜잭션 연간을 수행하면서 성능의 제약 없이 제한된 시간 내에 보고서를 생성할 수 있어야 하기 때문이다. 이와 같이 대규모 트랜잭션 환경에서 시간제약을 만족하면서 보고서를 생성할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 이 논문에서는 점진적 연산 기법과 형성뷰 기법을 트리거와 저장 프로시져를 이용하여 결합시킨 모델을 제안한다. 아울러 제안 모델에 대한 구현 및 평가를 통해 제안 모델의 특성을 분석한다.

This paper was proposed Intelligent and wireless USN/RFID module system that can overcome disadvantage of existing RFID system with no sensing module and wire communication. The proposed USN/RFID system was designed and fabricated. After fabricating new system, we analyzed the characteristics of USN/RFID module. After design VCO block that is point circuit to develop next generation system one chip of RFID system. we were carried out simulation and verified the validity, this paper was showed that VCO system was enough usable in wireless network module. USN/RFID Reader module shows superior result that validity awareness distance corresponds to 30M in the case of USN and to 5M in RFID Reader's case and 900MHz of commercial frequency does practical use enoughly in range of high frequency. The USN/RFID Reader module is considered to act big role to Ubiqitous industry offering computing surrounding of new concept that is intelligence type service and that was associated to real time location system(RTLS). environment improvement/supervision. national defense, traffic administration etc.

점차 증대하고 있는 SGML 문서를 체계적으로 공유, 저장, 검색하기 위해서, 현재 산업계에서 대표적인 데이타베이스인 관계형 데이타베이스를 사용하여 SGML 문서 데이타베이스를 구축, 활용할 필요성이 점차 증대하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SGML 문서를 관계형 데이타베이스에 엘리먼트 단위로 변환 저장하고, 검색하는 방법을 연구하였다. SGML 문서 데이타베이스 스키마는 SGML의 문서형 정의부(DTD)를 분석하여 SGML 문서를 문서보다 더 작은 엘리먼트 단위로 저장, 검색, 관리할 수 있는 기본적인 구조를 가지도록 설계하였다. 그리고, SGML 문서 정보를 문서형 정의부와 실제 문서(DI)로 나누어 변환 저장하였다. 이렇게 저장된 문서를 검색하기 위해서 문서의 검색을 구조기반 검색과 내용기반 검색으로 나누어, 구조기반 검색에서는 문서형 정의부의 논리 구조적 정보를 시각적으로 보여주는 브라우저를 통해 엘리먼트 단위로 문서를 검색할 수 있게 하였고, 내용기반 검색에서는 기존의 검색기법의 기초가 되는 불리안 전문 검색을 통해 기존의 검색 기법이 적용될 수 있게 하였다. 본 연구는 텍스트로 이루어진 SGML 문서를 대상으로 하였으며, 관계형 데이타베이스로는 Oracle7를 사용하였고, Sun OS 5.3에서 GUI로는 X Window와 OSF/Motif를 이용하여 구현하였다. The need to construct and use a SGML document using relational database is increasing to share, store, and retrieve increasing SGML document. We studied, in tins paper, the method of storing SGML document into database and retrieving it from relational database as a unit of element which composes a SGML document. The database schema for SGML document is designed to manage, store, and retrieve SGML documents as a unit of element which is smaller than a document. SGML information is divided into DTD(Document Type Definition) and DI(Document Instance), and they are stored in database. Element retrieval is implemented to retrieve SGML document as a unit of element using structured-based browser for structured-based retrieval. Boolean full-text search shows that traditional context-base retrieval is able to be used. SGML text documents are tested, and the system has been implemented in SunOS 5.3 environment which include X-window, OSF/Motif as a graphical user interface and Oracle 7 as a relational DBMS.

DMX-512 protocol is a lighting protocol which can control the various lighting fixtures by linking as networks. Recently many lighting fixtures corresponding to DMX-512 have been manufactured. The software which makes LED Control of lighting fixtures easy and simple, is proposed in this paper. The complicated interface and production method were improved and each mode was divided for simple production and reducing confusion of operator. The producing effects were confirmed by simulation results.
