Objectives : This study is aimed to analyse immunohistochemical research trend on psoriasis and consider the results in terms of Korean medicine. Methods : We analyse both immunohistochemical research papers and Korean medical papers on psoriasis, which I searched using KISS(Korean studies Information Service System) and OASIS(Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System). Results : Psoriasis is characterized by hyperporliferation of the epidermis, inflammatory cell accumulation and increased tortuosity and dilatation of dermal papillary blood vessels. Recently, angiogenesis is considered to play a major role in pathogenesis of psoriasis. Conclusion : In Korean medicine, blood-tonifying, blood-cooling and blood-activating medicinal herbs have generally been used to treat psoriasis. I consider these herbs which also treat vessel problem can have an effect on angiogenesis of psoriasis.

박이소 작품에서 쟁점으로서의 정체성 이슈 : 후기 작품을 중심으로

‘Identity’ was a lifelong issue for Yiso Bahc. His work can be summarized into phases of ‘recognition of self identity’(1981-1984), ‘setting the problem of cultural identity’(1985-1994), and ‘beyond identity issue’(1995-2004). This paper examined the identity issue in the later works of Yiso Bahc, and suggested the following points. First, after 1995, His works for this period seem to be more like a journey towards the ultimate values of an artist's inner ethics, a fundamental realization of creation of art works, a cliffhanging hope for future and happiness, and the meeting with the Lebenswelt. This is a typical example of “the man who seeks the meaning of life on earth” like the idea of ‘Übermensch’ which Nietzsche presented as the goal of the human being. Second, his works are characterized by the position of ‘nothingness’ or ‘nihilism’. In this sense, what he aimed at was, paradoxically, ‘post-identity’. This was a search for overcoming the denial of the absurdity or the conventional values of the world, and it was also due to the constant self-reflection of the artist who sought the possibility of a free life. In other words, the tendency of Yiso Bahc's later works is very far from the cultural politics or thesis. The art he pursued was “to be concerned about and prepare for the future” in Lebenswelt of ‘here and now’ through ‘the human will to creation’, which has some implications for the discussion on identity in contemporary Korean art today. 박이소의 작품세계에서 ‘정체성’ 문제는 그의 생애 전반을 가로지르는 주된 이슈였다. 그의 작품세계는 ‘자기 정체성 인식’(1981-1984), ‘문화적 정체성 문제의 설정’(1985-1994), ‘정체성 이슈를 넘어서’(1995-2004)라는 단계로 귀결되고 있다. 본 논문은 그의 후기 작품에서 쟁점으로서의 정체성 이슈에 대하여 알아보았으며 다음과 같은 시사점을 제시하였다. 첫째, 1995년 이후 전개된 박이소의 작품은 이전의 ‘정체성의 정치’에 대한 관심과는 동떨어진 이슈를 그 중심에 두고 전개되고 있다. 오히려 예술가의 내면적 윤리성이나 창작에 대한 근본적인 깨달음, 미래와 행복에 대한 아슬아슬한 희망, 생활세계(Lebenswelt)와의 만남이라고 하는 궁극적인 가치에로의 도정에 가까워 있다. 이는 니체가 제시했던 ‘위버멘쉬(Übermensch)’, 즉 “지상에서 삶의 의미를 찾는 인간”으로서의 전형을 보여주고 있는 것이다. 둘째, ‘무(無)’ 또는 ‘니힐리즘(nihilism)’적 입장을 보이고 있다는 것이 특징이다. 그런 점에서 그가 지향했던 것은 오히려 ‘포스트 정체성’을 향한 것이었다고 할 수 있다. 이는 세상의 부조리나 기성 가치에 대한 초극이자, 자유로운 삶을 타개하고자 하는 작가의 부단한 자기 반성적 태도에서 말미암은 것이었다. 다시 말해 박이소의 후기 작품은 문화정치학이나 테제(thesis)로부터 크게 멀어졌다. 그가 지향하고자 하는 예술 세계는 ‘인간의 창조의지’를 통해 ‘지금 여기’의 생활세계에서 “미래를 근심하고 대비하는 것”이었으며 이는 오늘날 한국 현대미술의 정체성 논의에 여러 가지 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to understand aging and skin aging with both western and Korean medicine. Methods : We investigated the comprehension of general aging and skin aging in both western and Korean medicine through literature review. Result : The results are as follows. 1. Aging in western is a complex process influenced by telomere shortening and damage to cellular DNA. In Korean medicine, it is supposed that decline of interaction between yin(陰) and yang(陽) makes aging. 2. Skin aging in western medicine consists of intrinsic aging and extrinsic aging. In Korean medicine, skin aging goes with the aging of whole body and distinctive features of geroderma notice the unbalance of the whole body function. 3. Generally geroderma has decreased development of cells and low immunity, which is the function of kidney(腎) in Korean medicine. Conclusion : Further studies are needed to apply comprehension of skin aging in Korean medicine to clinical stage.

Electro-optical Characteristics of LED Flat Light Source in Low Temperature Condition

최근 액정디스플레이는 TV, Monitor, Note PC를 비롯한 모든 디스플레이영역에서 활발하게 사용되고 있다. 그러나, 액정디스플레이의 배경광원으로 사용하는 평판조명장치(백라이트)에서 주로 사용하는 광원인 CCFL(냉음극방전관)의 경우 수은 가스를 사용하기 때문에 저온 환경에서의 구동특성에 한계를 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 CCFL 광원이 갖고 있는 문제점을 해결하기 위해서, LED 광원을 사용한 백라이트 조명장치를 고안하고, -40도의 극저온환경에서의 동작특성을 CCFL 광원을 사용한 백라이트 조명장치와 비교분석하여, 저온환경에서의 LED 백라이트의 효용성에 대해서 연구하였다. Recently, LCD (liquid crystal display) industry is needed to goods of high reliability and wide range temperature condition and it is interested in products for extremely cold condition without failure of light-up. In this experiment, we made the LED backlight unit for Automotive-navigation under the extremely cold condition. And for making this backlight unit, we used to eight side emitting type white LEDs with 3W high power LED. We could know that this backlight unit releases to 18,000 nit in 24W power consumption and start up voltage time is under the 1ms in the ambient temperature at -40.

IBDP 서논술형 시험 여건에 대한 국어교육학적 검토 - ‘Language & Literature’와 ‘국어’ 과목 간 비교를 중심으로 -

Appeals for the introduction of public education by the IBDP are interpreted as arguments that the written test should be able to replace the multiple-choice test, and that it is important to create conditions to support it. We would like to examine on what conditions the IBDP has made the written test a substitute rather than a complement to the multiple-choice test, and whether such conditions have been created. First, IBDP made the curriculum simple. Second, it respected the autonomy of the class. Third, since it divided the appraisers into two, it was confirmed that the written test could replace multiple-choice tests. In general, progressive changes to create such conditions are being identified in the revised 2015 curriculum. For educational innovation, written tests should be able to replace multiple-choice tests, and appropriate conditions should be established in the three aspects of curriculum-class-assessment. That is the reason IBDP has also been mentioned as an alternative, and it needs to be deliberated in the introduction of public education.

국내 외국인 과학기술인력의 이문화 적응 영향요인에 관한 실증분석 연구

세계 각국의 우수인재 유치를 위한 경쟁이 격화되고 있으며, 외국인 과학기술인력의 국내유입이 점차 증가할 것으로 전망된다. 국내로 유입되는 해외 우수 인력이 업무를 수행하고 일상생활 환경에 잘 적응하도록 관리하는 것이 중요하나 이에 대한 체계적인 연구는 활발히 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내 외국인 과학기술인력의 효과적인 활용을 위해서 그들의 이문화 적응이 중요하다는 전제 하에 이문화 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 실증연구를 통해 체계적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 이문화 적응의 선행변수로 문화지능과 조직적 지원, 결과변수로 직무만족과 귀국의사를 설정하였으며, 또한 문화적 거리의 조절변수 역할을 검증하였다. 이문화 적응은 직무만족에 유의한 정(+)의 영향과 귀국의사에 부(-)의 영향을 미치며, 문화지능 및 조직적 지원은 이문화 적응에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 이문화 적응의 매개효과 분석결과, 이문화 적응은 문화지능과 귀국의사 간의 관계에서는 완전 매개역할을, 조직적 지원과 귀국의사 간의 관계에서는 부분 매개효과로 분석되었다. 아울러 문화적 거리감의 문화지능과 이문화 적응 간의 관계, 조직적 지원과 이문화 적응 간의 관계에서의 조절효과는 모두 기각되었다. 따라서 외국인 과학기술인력의 효과적인 활용을 위해서는 문화지능이 높은 사람을 선발하고, 문화지능 수준의 판단은 새로운 문화에 대한 호기심과 관심도를 파악할 수 있는 척도를 적용할 필요가 있다. 또한, 문화지능이 이문화 적응에 더 큰 영향을 미치므로 조직차원의 지원 강화와 개인의 문화지능 제고방안을 함께 마련하는 것이 이문화 적응도를 높이는데 효과적이다. The study aimed at investigating factors affecting cross-cultural adjustment of foreign scientists and engineers staying in Korea. The relationships between antecedents(cultural intelligence and organizational support) and cross-cultural adjustment, between cross-cultural adjustment and its outcome(job satisfaction and intention to leave) were proposed. The moderating role of cultural distance between antecedents and cross-cultural adjustment of foreign scientists and engineers was also proposed. An empirical survey was conducted to test the propositions, Data are collected from 92 foreign scientists and engineers working for government-affiliated science and technology research institutes in Korea. The research results revealed that firstly, cultural intelligence and organizational support had positive relationships with cross-cultural adjustment of foreign scientists and engineers. Secondly, cross-cultural adjustment affected its outcome(job satisfaction and intention to leave). Thirdly cross-cultural adjustment mediated the relationships between its antecedents and intention to leave. Fourthly, the moderating role of cultural distance between cross-cultural adjustment and its antecedents was not found. Finally, some practical implications was suggested based on the research results.
