This study attempts to describe and analyze the process of transition of the nature and methodology of political science. One sign of the in creasing maturity of a field of knowledge is its explict, frequently agonizing concern with the problem of theory development within the discipline. The term "Political theory"is used here to mean something significantly different from "Political philosophy" Philosophy deals with fundamental questions of values, and it studies the logical relationalships between normative propositions. Is "truths" are thus not immediately relevant to problems of fact. Unlike a philosophical system of moral principles, a theory can be tested empirically. It consists of propositions that are expressed hypothetically, and the hypotheses in turn predict the relationship between variables that can be observed and measured, how ever imprecisely. (But the more precise the measurement, the more systematic-and therefore scientific-the theory and its related discipline). Theories can be proved or disproved or, more formally, "confirmed" or "disconfirmed".

1985년 중순, 유엔 회원국은 159개 국가로 증가하였는데 이는 1945년 유엔 창설당시의 51개국보다 3배 이상 되는 수이다. 이들 국가들의 대부분은 한 때 피식민지 국가들로서 2차 세계 대전이후 새롭게 탄생한 신생독립국가들이다. 소위 제3세계 국가군으로 지칭되는 이들 발전도상국들은 다양하고 광범위한 정치, 문화, 지역권을 망라하고 있다. 정치ㄱ적으로 이들 제3세계 국가들은 준공사준의 비동맹국가군과 친서방비동맹국가군, 그리고 순수 중립적 입장에서의 비동맹국가군을 포함한다. 지역적으로 Asia, Africa, Middle East 및 Latin America 지역의 국가군을 대표로 하는 이들 제3세계 국가군은 종교적 문화적 다양성을 아울러 내포하고 있다. 이를테면 유교문화권, 힌두문화권, 이슬람문화권 및 불교문화권의 국가들이 이들 제3세계에 속해 있다. 이들 다양한 특성을 모두 망라하고 있는 제3세계 국가군의 공통된 특징의 하나는 이들 제3세계 국가들은 경제적으로 저개발 상태에 있다는 점이다. 그럼으로써 이러한 경제적 낙후성을 극복하기 위한 노력들이 제3세계 국가군을 그 다양성에도 불구하고, 응집시키는 중요한 요인으로 작용하고 있으니, 예건대, 제3세계 국가군에 의해 제기된 NIEO(신경제 질서)가 그것이다. 요컨대 오늘날 제3세계 국가군의 양적 증대와 그로 인한 국제사회에서의 영향력의 증대는 남북한 모두에게 그에 대한 외교정책의 중요성을 급속히 가중시키고 있으며 이로 인해 제3세계 에 대한 남북간의 외교적 경쟁은 남북경쟁의 새로운 장이 되기도 하였다. 특히 UN이나 비동맹 회의 등 국제기구에서의 남북간 경쟁의열도는 시간이 지남에 따라 그 도를 더해 가고 있다. 본 논문은 이에 대한 개괄적 소고이며 남북한의 경쟁적 측면에서 제3세계의 중요성이 간단히 소개되었다.

The initial growth and oxidation of ultra thin films of Sn on clean Si(111) 7 x 7 surface were studied by XPS(X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy) and LEED (Low Energy Electron Diffraction) techniques. Sn overlayers grew layer by layer at least 2 ML(monolayer) at room temperature. After annealing, however 3-D islands grew on Sn monolayer base, and Sri did not diffuse into the silicon in contrast to the Sn/GaAs system. One monolayer of Sn on Si(111) showed much less oxidation rate than those of bulk, but the oxidation rate of 2-D islands of submonolayer Sn was enhanced substantially.

우울 신경증 대학생들의 RPS 체험적 심상 시각현상의 특징과 의미 : 순천향대학생의 RPS심상 시각현상의 반응시각 측정을 중심으로

The Purpose of this study is to investigate differences of RPS-image experiences, between normal and neurotic-depresslve students of Soonchunhyang University. The subjects of this study were 44 students, composed of 22 normal students and 22 neurotic depressive students. For the criteria of normal and neurotic depressive symptom, 3 Depressive Scales(MMPI-D, BDI, SDS) were used, and the cut-off scores for selecting neuotic-depressive students were 31 score of MMPI-D, 21 of BDI, 45 of SDS. The experimental equipments were Flame-Glasses for Rhythmic Photic Stimulation(RPS). The scope of frequencies of the Flame-Glasses were from 8(Hertz) to 24(Hertz), and for the convenionce of implementing this experiment efficiently, the Frequencies of the Flame-Glasses were divided into 8(Hertz), 16(Hertz), 24(Hertz). The hypothesis of this study were as follows : 1)the reaction time of RPS-image experiences of neuotic-depressive students will be significantly delayed than that of normal students In 8 Hertz, 2)the reaction time of RPS-image experiences of neurotic depressive students were will be significantly delayed than that of normal students in 16Hertz, 3)the reaction time of RPS image experiences of neurotic-depressive students were will be significantly delayed than that of normal students in 24 Hertz. The results of this experiment were that the reaction time of RPS-image experiences of neurotic depressive studens were significantly delayed than that of normal students in each 8, 16, 24 Hertz. Generally image experiences are conjected as one way of expressing unconscious contents(uncious wiches, conflicts, anxieties, etc) in symbolic forms. So we suppose that the neurotic-depressive have more conflicts, anxities, etc than the normal, by this result. So the neurotic-depressive may have difficuity with experiencing RPS-image than the normal. The limits of this study are, 1)Because all the subjects are the University students, the genarlizing this results into adults, may have logical deficits, 2)This study was so exploratory that the other important problems(for example, the catagories of RPS and the relation of KB therapeutic Image and RPS Image, etc) were not enough dealt with, Next studies should be done more deeply and specifically for these important issues.

This experiment was conducted to find out the difference between roughage productivity and feed value by using two domestic forage rice cultivars in a mid-west reclaimed rice field in Korea. During the growing period, Na+ content in soil showed no significant difference between the two cultivars; however, the K+ content in the soil was significantly lower than that in which the Mogwo was grown. The tiller number was 45.5 to 58.8, which was higher than that of Mogyeong, and the leaf number was higher than that of Mogyeong. The dry matter yield per 10 a was 1,338 kg for Moggyang and 1,532 kg for Mogwoo. At the harvest time, the crude protein yield per 10 a produced 108 kg of Mogyang and 170 kg of Mogwoo, and the total digestion nutrient (TDN) yield per 10 a also produced about 617 kg of Mogyang and 880 kg of Mogwoo. To sum up the above results, Mogwo, which has many tiller numbers and leaf numbers, has a high dry matter production, a relatively low neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and acidic detergent fiber (ADF), and a high crude protein yield and TDN yield, and it was better when cultivating the forage rice cultivars in reclaimed land.
