      • Nano-Scale MOSFET의 게이트길이 종속 차단주파수 추출

        본 연구에서는 측정된 S-파라미터로부터 추출된 Nano-scale MOSFET 등가회로 파라미터의 scaling 방정식을 사용하여 차단주파수의 게이트 길이 종속성을 모델화하였다. 모델된 차단주파수는 게이트 길이가 줄어듬에 따라서 크게 증가하다가, 점점 증가율이 크게 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이는 게이트 길이가 감소함에 따라 내부전달시간은 크게 줄어들지만, 외부 기생 충전시간은 상대적으로 조금씩 감소하기 때문이다. 이와 같은 새로운 게이트길이 종속 모델은 Nano-scale MOSFET의 RF성능을 최적화시키는 데 큰 도움이 될 것이다. The gate length-dependence of cutoff frequency is modeled by using scaling parameter equations of equivalent circuit parameters extracted from measured S-parameters of Nano-scale MOSFETs. It is observed that the modeled cutoff frequency initially increases with decreasing gate length and then the rate of increase becomes degraded at further scale-down. This is because the extrinsic charging time slightly decreases, although the intrinsic transit time greatly decreases with gate length reduction. The new gate length-dependent model will be very helpful to optimize RF performances of Nano-scale MOSFETs.

        3D Surface and Thickness Profile Measurements of Si Wafers by Using 6 DOF Stitching NIR Low Coherence Scanning Interferometry

        In this investigation, we describe a metrological technique for surface and thickness profiles of a silicon (Si) wafer by using a 6 degree of freedom (DOF) stitching method. Low coherence scanning interferometry employing near infrared light, partially transparent to a Si wafer, is adopted to simultaneously measure the surface and thickness profiles of the wafer. For the large field of view, a stitching method of the sub-aperture measurement is added to the measurement system; also, 6 DOF parameters, including the lateral positioning errors and the rotational error, are considered. In the experiment, surface profiles of a double-sided polished wafer with a 100 mm diameter were measured with the sub-aperture of an 18 mm diameter at 10x10 locations and the surface profiles of both sides were stitched with the sub-aperture maps. As a result, the nominal thickness of the wafer was 483.2 μm and the calculated PV values of both surfaces were 16.57 μm and 17.12μm, respectively.

        진도해역 낭장망의 어획물 실태에 따른 어업관리 방안

        In this study, we conducted field surveys to investigate and analyze species and length composition of catch from gape net with wings being set in two areas - Masari, Supomri - located in southern part of Jin-do for understanding fishing characteristics of gape net with wings fishery from March to September of 2011. And with those results, we attempted to propose fishery management strategy to harvest fisheries resources continuously. Catch obtained from field surveys comprised total 78 species, which accounted for 53 species of fish, 20 species of crustacean, 4 species of cephalopod and one of polychaete. As to species composition in weight, it showed that there was 88.5% for pisces, 9.0% for cephalopoda and 2.5% for crustacea. As to catch specifics by area, there was 36 species (596,891 individual, 456,551g) of pisces, 17 species (35,815 individual, 12,909g) of crustacea and 3 species (2,876 individual, 3,004g) of cephalopoda in Masari area. In Supumri area, there was 41 species (396,898 individual, 281,457g) of pisces, 15 species (16,113 individual, 7,772g) of crustacea and 4 species (6,792 individual, 72,329g) of cephalopoda and one polychaeta (36 individual, 11g). Catch of anchovy by month recorded on high level on June, July, September in both areas. When considering size composition by month, it was found that new populations recruit to these fishing grounds on June and September. Most of bycatch species including hairtail (Trichiurus lepturus), dotted gizzard shad (Konosirus punctatus), conger eel (Leptocephalous), Pacific sandlance (Ammodytes personatus), horse mackerel (Trachurus japonicus) were juvenile, and grass puffer (Takifugu niphobles), Kammal thryssa (Thryssa kammalensis), Japanese sardinella (Sardinella zunasi) were also small in size. As a result, it is considered that gape net with wings fishery which is likely to catch juvenile needs to be set fishing prohibit period for conserving above stocks during the period excluding main fishing periods of anchovy or fisheries management such as expanding mesh size for preventing juvenile catch.

        빔트롤을 이용한 여자만 어류의 계절별 종조성과 변동

        To investigate seasonal and yearly variation of fishes composition in Yeoja Bay of Korea, fisheries survey were carried out using beam trawl from 2006 to 2009. A total of 44 fish species were collected. The major dominant species were Pennahia argentatus, Thryssa adelae, Thryssa kammalensis and Cynoglossus joyneri, which were occupied over 63% total individuals, and 50% of wet weight. The diversity index (H`) was about 1.62 (1.46~1.77) by seasons, and seasons of similarity by fishes were divided into two groups, which were March with December and June with September. ANOVA test showed that there were not significant difference between individuals and catch weight (kg) per unit area (km2) by year and season, except for catch weight per unit area by season.

        Reproductive ecology of the sharp toothed eel, Muraenesox cinereus was investigated based on the samples captured in southern Korean waters from January 2010 to December 2011. Gonadosomatic index began to increase in April, and reached maximum between July to August. After spawning it began to decrease from October. Reproductive season was estimated to April-September, with peak in July. Fecundity was proportional to the size of the female, with the clutch size varying from 56,000 eggs in the smallest female anal length, 27.0cm) to 1,400,000 eggs in the largest (anal length, 49.5cm). Size at 50% sexual maturity AL50), determined from mature females, were 21.9cm. Annual reproductive cycles of this species could be divided into four successive stages; immature stage (October-February), maturing stage (March-May), mature stage (June-August) and spent stage (August-October).

        Chinese Leadership in Beijing in currently seem to have survived the expected fallout of Deng Xiaoping's death better than some observers had anticipated. But the regime's political future has remained in doubt. A good deal of success of Beijing's efforts in both economy and political stability is attributed to the leadership of Deng Xiaoping, and Deng's demise means that a vacuum at the center of political power in China could lead to political struggles with possibly adverse outcomes for the country. The leadership transition is likely to complicate and already difficult set of problems caused by overheated economic growth, rapid social change, a realignment of central and local power arrangements and other factors. It is important to note, however, that China today is not the China of Mao Zedong when central leaders could dictate policy changes in defiance of economic, social and international realities. China's future will be determined by a mix of leadership judgements interacting with economic, political, military and foreign policy trends. Scholars and experts on Chinese politics envision a wide range of scenarios about the political future of China over the next few years. A positive scenario posits increasingly effective political administration and eventual democratic reform along with continued successful economic modernization. Alternative outcomes viewed negatively can be of two kinds. One sees a series of developments leading to a steady degeneration of government effectiveness and authority, with a number of resulting negative side effects for China's economic and social development. Another sees China successfully developing economic power while retaining strong authoritarian political control. This contemplates an emerging Chinese economic and military superpower, much less interested in accommodation with the outside world and unfettered by the political checks and balances that would accompany a less authoritarian political structure Economic modernization remains a fundamental determinant of the future of China. Post-Mao leaders have recognized that their hold on power rests heavily on their ability to achieve concrete economic success and to make life materially better for the vast majority of the Chinese people. They are aware that they have little of Mao's prestige as a successful revolutionary and nationalist leader, and that the hold of communist ideology on the minds of the Chinese people is a thing of the past. Economic performance is the linchpin of the continued political legitimacy of the leaders in china. Since the early 1980's, China's economy has grown at an average of nearly 9% a year in real terms. Living standards for much of the Chinese population have improved steadily over the past decade and a half. China's economic success, however, has not been without significant drawbacks and a conservative emphasis on central control and economic balance has prevailed. Nevertheless, the overall direction is toward greater growth and reform. Regarding its policy toward Korea, Chinese leader have continued to state that stability and peace in Korean peninsula is very important to China. Therefore, China is especially anxious that nay unstable political situation in Korean peninsula could lead to confrontation or conflict between North and South Korea, possibly involving China. For the time being, Beijing will stick to a balanced approach toward the peninsula and try that Korean peninsula will no be incorporated into one hegemonic power. On the basis of this principle, the economic relations between China and South Korean will be still more expanded. China has already solidified its economic ties with South Korea, with annual two-way trade amounting to about $20 billion Currently, there seems no imminent disruption or chaos in China and the CCP will put an emphasis on the political stability. However, no one knows exactly where China will be headed. The only clear thing is that a new chapter for the world's longest continuous civilization opens as its last patriarch gives up the ghost.

        열공형과 비열공형 피질하 혈관성 치매에서 위험인자의 차이에 관한 비교 연구

        Backgrounds and Objectives: Vascular dementia is a group of dementing disoders arising from various stroke syndrome. Among these. subcortical ischemic vascular dementia (SIVD) is regarded as a relatively distinct clinical entity. However, MRI patterns of SIVD are not homogenous. In some patients, lacunes are dominant, and in others, subcortical white matter changes are. This study was designed to compare risk factor profiles between SIVD with and without multiple lacunes. Methods: We divided 47 subjects (22 males, mean age. 68 years) recruited from VADAPET (Multicenter Trial For Evaluation Of The Changes In the PET Images Of Subcortical Vascular Dementia Patient) study into two groups one with more than 5 lacunes in deep gray matter (lacune group) and the other with 5 or less(non-lacune group) Clinical characteristics and laboratory findings of two groups were compared. Results: Nineteen of 47 patients (40%) belonged to the lacune group. The lacune and non-lacune groups d d not differ in the following variables: age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia heart disease, history of stroke or TIA, history of trauma or major surgery, family history of hypertension stroke, or dementia, age at diagnosis of dementia, body mass index, white blood cell count, ESR, CRP, fibrinogen, hemoglobin A1C, total cholesterol. LDL cholesterol creatinine, proteinuria, glucosuria, and microhematuria. However, male sex, smoking alcohol. hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol were possibly associated more with lacune group SIVD than with non-lacune group (p<0 1) Multivariate analyses revealed that smoking, hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol were independent predictors of SIVD with multiple lacunes Conclusion: Our study suggests that SIVD with multiple lacunes may be significantly different in smoking habits hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol from SIVD without multiple lacunes.
