        고유전율/저유전율 LTCC 동시소성 기판의 휨 현상

        In this paper, warpages of heterogeneous LTCC substrates comprised of high K/low K hi-layered structure were investigated. The effect of glass content in high K LTCC layer on the warpage of substrate during co-firing process was examined. Shrinkage and dielectric properties of high K and low K green sheets were measured. In-situ camber observation by hot stage microscopy showed different camber development of heterogeneous LTCC substrates according to glass content in high K green sheet. High K green sheet containing $50\%$ glass was matched to low K green sheet in the shrinkage. Therefore, LTCC substrate of Low K/High K+$50\%$ glass structure showed flat surface after sintering. 본 연구에서는 고유전율(K100) 및 저유전율(K7.8) LTCC(Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics) 그린 시트를 이종 LTCC 기판으로 동시 소성하는 경우, 고유전율 LTCC 내의 유리 분말 함유량에 따라 발생하는 수축 거동 변화가 이종 LTCC기판의 휨 특성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 평가하였다. 유리 분말 함유량의 증가에 따른 고유전율 LTCC 그린시트의 수축률 및 유전 특성을 측정하였으며, 고유전율/저유전율 비대칭형 적층체의 소결 거동을 고온 현미경을 이용하여 실시간으로 측정하였다. $50\%$ 유리가 첨가된 K100 조성의 경우 수축 개시 온도 및 수축 구간의 범위 , 최종 수축률이 K7.8 조성과 유사하였으며, 동시 소성 시 가장 우수한 휨 특성을 나타내었다.

        ZnO 나노막대의 표면이 광학적 특성에 미치는 영향

        We have studied the effect of the chemical composition of the ZnO nanorod surface on the optical characteristics. The surface was treated with H- and O-plasma at different surface temperatures. The chemical composition of the surface of the ZnO nanorod, being investigated by Auger Electron Spectroscopy(AES), was related to the Photoluminescence(PL) data reported in our previous results. The AES showed the opposite results for the $H_2$ and $O_2$ plasma treatments. The ratio of Zn to O on the surface of the ZnO nanorod increased in the case of $H_2$ plasma, while the composition rate of O increased after $O_2$ plasma treatment. The AES results seems to be correlated to the shift in PL peaks. The increase in the composition rate of Zn on the surface of ZnO nanorod is considered to cause the blue shift of the UV peak. On the contrary, the relative increase of O is considered to cause the red shift in PL peaks.

      • 골연골종(증)에서 발생한 속발성 연골육종

        목적: 발생 빈도가 드문 골연골종(증)에서 기인한 속발성 연골육종의 임상적, 방사선학적, 조직병리학적 소견과 더불어 수술적 치료의 결과를 알아보기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 대상 및 방법: 1992년 1월 1일부터 2004년 12월 31일까지 골연골종(증)에서 발생한 속발성 연골육종에 대해 수술적 치료를 받은 14명을 대상으로 환자들의 임상기록, 단순 방사선 및 전산화 단층촬영/자기공명영상, 병리조직 슬라이드를 후향적으로 조사하였다. 남성 9명, 여성 5명이었으며, 평균 나이는 34세(14-75세)였다. 평균 추시 기간은 54개월이었다. 결과: 모든 환자에서 소아기나 사춘기 전, 후부터 종괴를 가지고 있었으며, 방사선학적 소견은 종양의 표면이 불규칙하거나 경계가 불분명하거나, 분산된 무기질 침착 소견을 동반한 골파괴 음영 및 점상 석회화를 동반한 연부조직 종괴가 관찰되었다. 자기공명영상소견은 상기 방사선학적 소견을 반영하는 불균등신호 강도(inhomogeneous signal)의 불규칙한 경계를 지닌 종괴가 보이며, 연골모(cartilage cap)의 두께가 2예를 제외하고는 모두 1 cm 이상으로 두꺼웠다. 수술적 치료는 10명에서 광범위절제술, 3명에서 변연절제술 그리고 1명에서 절단술을 시행하였다. 결론: 골연골종(증)에서 드물기는 하나 속발성 연골육종이 발생할 수 있으므로, 임상적, 방사선학적 그리고 조직병리학적 소견을 종합적으로 이해하고 주의 깊게 추시 관찰 하여, 조기에 광범위 절제술을 시행할 경우 좋은 치료결과를 기대할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Purpose: To analyze clinical, radiological and pathological features as well as clinical outcome after surgical treatment of patients with secondary chondrosarcoma arising from osteochondroma(tosis). Materials and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed clinical records, radiographs, pathologic slides of 14 patients. Nine patients were male and fi ve were female. The mean age was 34 years. The mean follow-up period was 54 months. Results: All patients had a history of previous mass since childhood or puberty. Preexisted osteochondroma was single in 3 patients and multiple in 10. Remaining 1 patient had multiple osteochondromatosis with enchondromatosis. MRI clearly provided thickness of cartilage cap, which was over 2 cm except in 2 cases. Chondrosarcoma was grade 1 in all except 1 case, which was grade 2. Wide excision was performed in 10 patients, marginal excision in 3 and amputation in 1. Twelve patients were doing very well without evidence of disease. Among 3 patients with marginal excision, 1 patient had local recurrence and 1 patient died of disease. Conclusion: Comprehensive understanding of clinical, radiological and pathological features of secondary chondro sarcoma is warranted for accurate diagnosis. The best result can be expected with early recognition of malignant change of osteohcondroma(tosis) and wide excision.

        플라즈마 처리한 ZnO 나노막대의 광학적 특성

        Hydrogen and Oxygen plasma treatments have been done on sonochemical grow ZnO nanorods by varying treatment temperature and time, The changes(position and intensity) in ultraviolet(UV) peaks and green peaks of photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopy have been measured, Experimental results showed; i) in the case of hydrogen plasma treatment, the blue shift of UV peak and the increase of PL intensity of the UV peak were observed as the increase of the process time and temperature, ii) in the case of oxygen plasma treatment, the red shift of green peak was observed and the ratio of $I_{Green}/I_{UV}$ was also increased, as the increase of the process time and the temperature.

        표피낭종 324예에 대한 임상 및 병리조직학적 고찰

        Background: Epidermal cysts are a common occurrence. But there have been few studies to determine the clinical and histopathological characteristics of epidermal cysts. Objective: To evaluate the clinicopathological characteristics of 324 cases of epidermal cyst. Methods: We evaluated the clinical and histopathologic features of 324 cases of epidermal cyst at the Department of Dermatology at Korea University Anam Hospital over 5 years, from January 2001 to December 2005. Results: The ratio of male to female patients was 1.7:1. Age distribution ranged from 7 to 91 years old. The duration of lesions was variable with mean duration of 29.3 months. The most common site of occurrence was the face. Histopathologic changes of cystic walls were atropy, acanthosis, hypergranulosis, vacuolation and parakeratosis. We identified parakeratotic cells, red blood cells, calcifications and bacterial colonies in the cystic contents. We also found verrucous architectures in the cystic walls of 23 cases. Initially, some cases were clinically diagnosed as found verrucous architectures in the cystic walls of 23 cases. Initially, some cases were clinically diagnosed as epidermal cysts, but histopathological findings then discovered only inflammation, granulation, pilomatrichoma or lipoma, rather than an epidermal cyst. We discovered that there was also a close relation between erythema and rupture of the cystic wall. Conclusion: Our clinical and histopathologic findings of the epidermal cysts were similar to previous reports. However, we did find verrucous architectures on not only the palmoplantar area, but also many other areas of the body. Quite a few cases which had initially been clinically diagnosed as epidermal cysts, turned out not to be upon histopathologic investigation. (Korean J Dermatol 2007;45(3):242~248)

        The plastic waste problem is deepening all over the world. Plastic waste has a serious impact on our lives as well as environmental pollution. The production and use of plastics increases every year, but once they are produced, they usually roam the earth for hundreds or thousands of years to pollute the environment. Although there are growing interests in plastic issues around the world and environmental regulations are being tightened, but no clear solution has yet been found. Therefore, this study proposes a non-environmental friendly index (NEFI) the proposed components to reduce the amounts of packing wastes. As far as we know, this is the first study. We can use the proposed components to derive NEFI. NEFI can determine how much a product affects the environment. In addition, NEFI will contribute to reducing packing waste in the future.

        가변형 소규모 강당의 음향성능 분석 및 개선안 평가

        This study is aimed to evaluate the acoustic performances of small auditorium and to suggest improvement plans. The auditorium has moving-wall system between assembly hall and lobby which can be extended a seating capacity if necessary. The measurement results of existing auditorium showed that the reverberation time at 500 Hz octave band frequency were 1.66 sec in case of using assembly hall only and 1.98 sec in case of using assembly hall and lobby. The D50 parameter showed respectively 36% and 28%, while the RASTI parameter showed equally 0.54. The NC (noise criterion) rating in assembly hall was estimated to NC-50 when the air conditioner was operated. To improve the acoustic performance for speech and lecture, several redesigns such as reduction of room volume, partial replacement of finishing materials, and reconstruction of air conditioner anteroom partitions were investigated by using acoustic simulation. The simulation results showed that the acoustic parameters were highly improved. The reverberation time at 500Hz changed to 0.65 sec and 0.84 sec by improvement redesigns. The D50 changed to 69% and 28%. Also, the RASTI changed to 0.69 and 0.65. And the NC rating in assembly hall was predicted to NC-35.
